Hello, I used AI Suite III 5-Way Optimization to overclock Ryzen 5 5600X (Default Clock Speed: 3.7GHz, after Optimization 4.6GHz). I want to undo everything and went to BIOS to reset all settings using 'F5' and 'F10'. BIOS showed everything back to default (Please refer to Pic 1). But When login to Windows 10, it back again to 4.6GHz (Please refer to Pic 2). AI Suite setting also back to default, but the clock speed still at 4.6GHz (Please refer to Pic 3) I've tried to uninstall AI Suite 3 software but it didn't help, How can I change everything back to default? Relevant specs: TUF B450-Plus Gaming - Bios 3002 and 3211 - Windows 10 Home 64 bit 21H2 - Noctua NF-P12 fans (non-PWM) Everything worked well until I upgraded my bios to version 3211 to set a new boot logo (I don't remember what version I was on before). The flash went well, but it reset my bios settings, so I changed them to adjust my RAM speed and I also changed the fans settings. When I booted into Windows, AI Suite 3 claimed that I needed to redo my fan tuning since my fan configuration changed. I did, and my fan curve was locked to 100% for all fans. I flashed bios version 3002, did the tuning again, but it didn't work. After disabling AI Suite 3 on boot I managed to have my bios managed my fan speeds but this isn't optimal since I sometimes need to change my fan curves on the fly, so I tried one last time to tune AI Suite 3 and hoped it would work this time, but now it makes my fan ramp up to 100% as soon as windows boots even though it's still not running at startup. Now after a lot of reboots here's where I am: All my fans are non-PWM, and are set as such in my bios. I am running Bios version 3002 (not latest). I reinstalled AI Suite 3. Only my two Noctua fans have the fan curve issue, not my third fan. I did the tuning process many times, both in the bios and AI Suite 3. Here's what it looks like for both fans: (UI translated in mspaint by yours truly) The red zone is the minimal voltage for the fan to run. Before I had any issue, every fan curve looked similar to this: What's weird is that it does detect the voltage-RPM curve correctly (on the right), and that this issue occurs on my NF-P12 fans but not my third fan, even though they're all non-PWM and configured the same in the bios. On top of that the update also broke my RGB configuration (Armoury Crate didn't detect my RAM anymore) but I sorted that out already.

So where to begin with AI Suite 3.... It has been known to cause a decent number of issues over the years, but I need it for proper HDR support in games (don't ask me why, it causes flicker when the W10 volume OSD comes up if AI Suite is not installed with Minibar). But with the latest W10 updates my AI suite and minibar refuse to load, trying to load it myself and it populates event viewer with APPCRASH. Digging into this with AppCrashView shows error 0xc0000005 - Access Violation (attached pic). Here is what I have tried to no avail: Uninstalling AI Suite with Revo Uninstaller, and re-installing (using armoury crate newest version of AC and AI Suite) with ALL windows security features off (Firewall, virus protection, app control etc.) Added the .exe to exception list of W10 virus tool and exploit protection Pain-snakingly following https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/gev1ic/guide_repair_broken_ai_suite_3_on_windows_10/ where I remove the software, folders, registry and services in safe mode, running AI Cleaner then rebooting and installing 3.00.51 restart and install 3.00.52. Removing the recent updates to see if it was preventing the app, it automatically re-installs the update and the show/hide windows troubleshooting tool won't let me disable this. Tried mixed ideas of cleaning and re-installing with different versions offered on my MB support page (3.00.69 and 3.00.59) sfc and DISM to repair any corruption and re-ran all above steps (there were errors, but were fixed) Attempted repair of C++ redistributable apps (Apparently an access violation could be caused by that, but I had my doubts) At this point I am almost certain that it is Windows preventing AI Suite 3 from loading as previous versions had worked before updates a few days ago. I am one to fight when software isn't behaving well but I am out of ideas. Has anyone recently had problems and found ANYTHING that allowed AIS3 to work??? Current version of AIS3: 3.00.78 Specs: OS: W10 Pro. Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043 CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 DRAM: 32 GB Corsair 3200 Mbps/MT/s with DOCP on MB: ASUS B550F Gaming WiFi GPU: AMD RX 6800 BIOS/UEFI: 2006 (Newest besides Beta)

Hi everyone, Earlier this evening, I completely shut off my computer in an attempt to fix Zoom. Once I restarted my computer my two case fans that are plugged into the AIO Pump fan header are no longer adjusting to the speed that I set them at. The fans seem to be at the speed I customized them to before I login and then once I put my password in, the fans kick up. I had adjusted the AIO Pump header in the BIOS to PWM and lowered the default speed the fans were set to. I could control their speed using AI Suite 3's Fan Xpert 4. I've reset to the defaults in the BIOS and redid the fan setting adjustments that I needed to do. I've done what I can in the AI Suite but I can't do much since it's unable to adjust the AIO fan. The other fans are completely fine. I have the latest BIOS. Everything was fine until I did the complete shut down. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

So I am trying to install Asus Ai Suite 3 for my Asus H81-GAMER motherboard and it just says "Can't open AsIO.sys !! ( 2 ). Can someone help me please? I would really appreciate this. I've seen some people saying that after a Windows reinstall it worked but I really don't want to do that because I would need to install back all the drivers and do all the settings all over again and that takes me between 1 and 2 hours...maybe even more I don't really watch the time when I do that but it really feels like ages. So if someone can help me I would really really appreciate it.

Hello Guys, I'm new in this forum so I'm sorry if this Question is in the wrong topic... Also, my English isn't the best, so sorry for grammar/spelling mistakes. So, starting with my Question: I have a huge problem installing Ai Suite 3 from Asus on my Windows 10 Pc. Already the unzipping takes really long (approx. 50 min.) and when I try to install the program, it takes very long and after around 2 hours the Installer finishes. When I then reboot my Pc, there are a lot of error notifications popping up, and the Program doesn't start. Everything else on my Pc works just fine. My setup: http://www.sysprofile.de/id192381 (I5 7600K, Asus Z170 Pro Gaming/Aura, 16gb of Corsair VengeanceDDR4 Ram, Msi Gtx 770, 250gb SSD and 1TP WD Blue HDD, everything running on Win10 Pro 64bit.) Has anybody an Idea how to fix the problem? Also, the Provcess isn't using any of my PC resources, as you can see on the picture... I hope you guys can help me, if not, have a nice day anyway =) Greetings, Alex

Dear LTT community, When I run the FAN XPERT tuning i get an error at the end regarding the CPU fan curve. It says that there was an error in calibration and then it gives me a fan curve which has a similar shape to the picture attached. Then, usually, the software allows you to adjust the fan profile however it does not let me. When I first built the PC it was fine. The issue occurred when I added an extra fan to the system. If there is a solution out there please let me know and your own take/interpretation would be appreciated. So far i have not seen anything on forums that have so far been similar to mine. CPU cooler = Artic freezer 240 Motherboard = ASUS Z170-A CPU = i5 6600k OC'd to 4.6GHz at 1.38v +/- 0.03 (adaptive setting)

When i set powerplan in windows to be balanced(because i dont want cpu running 100% all time) next time is high performance, i found out that in the ai suite is set to perfomance, but there is no way to disable it or i didnt found one,i like ai suite because of fan xpert software which can't be used solely without ai suite....in ai suite there is no setting like balanced only perfomance, power saver, and away so - whenever i set balanced in windows, it sets back to high performance when i come to check it, is there away to prevent ai suite from doing this and still be able to use ai suite normally?

Hi, i have i7 9700k @5.00ghz @1.29v, LLC lvl 4 when playing games msi afterburner and hwinfo are reporting CPU temps 60-70 across all 8 cores. On the other hand ai suite is reporting 10 degrees lower which is lowering fans speed as im using ai suite fans control. Which one should i believe, i know temps in the 60s are safe but still i have 240mm aio and should have lower temps.

Hey.. What's up with that ASUS software? Besides from being laggy usually and badly designed, this companies software is frustrating. For a some hours i wasn't able to install AI Suite 3, until i finally found an old version that i was able to install. I then went to install AURA (currently still trying while writing this topic) and i have been struggling with it for some hours as well. No matter what version i try to install, i keep getting error messages like: AuraSync service is installed (but it was, and is a part of AURA installation), to Please connect Aura compatible devices (when all my devices is compatible) and Windows program stopped responding messages. I tried Armoury Crate too some weeks ago, and it was bugged with an update loop. When i went to Armoury Crate to configure my ASUS watercooler it kept saying that i need to update the software/firmware for the watercooler. I updated it from the update tab, because ASUS doesn't provide direct download for this from their website, and it then restart, but then i get the same message again. After the AURA and AI Suite 3 issues today, i thought i'd give Armoury Crate another try to see if they've fixed it since, but no they havn't. In fact it's worse than it was before. Now when i open the app, there's no options in it. Only "highlights". lol. The thing is that every problem i encounter with ASUS software, someone else already had it. Only the problem is that there's most likely no fix to it. Or at least not consistent one. It's a matter of luck and coincidence. And it doesn't even seem like ASUS doesn't seem care about it. So as of today, i'm still sitting here with my ALL ROG $5000+ build, not being able to configure my RGB.

I recently did an overclock on my CPU using the AI Suite III. I kind of regret doing this and want to "undo" it for fear of causing any damage or shortening the life of my hardware. This is my first ever computer build so I'm still learning the ropes. I would be forever grateful for someone that can provide me instructions on how to do this- I don't see anything in AI Suite III to restore to the default clock speed and have struggled to find anything online . I have to physically turn it off and on for it to power back on from sleep mode. This happened after the OC anyone know what i can do to fix this?

software conflict Ai Suite 3 Vs Corsair Link
SerGreenTin posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Hi, I have a little bit of a problem controlling my H100i V2 AIO cooler on my Asus Z270E motherboard. It seems like Corsair Link and AI Suite conflict and the AIO fans spin up the stop completely at idle. The current set up is the AIO Pump is connected to the CPU fan header and the 2 fans on the radiator are connected to the split cable also coming off of the water block with the corsair link data cable connected to a USB 2.0 internal header. I assume this is correct? I need corsair link to the the RBG on the water block of the AIO don't I? Looking at some videos I've currently got Q Fan disabled in the BIOS with CPU fan set to max, is this right? Under the H100i V2 tab in corsair link, it reads 0rpm on the fan but jumps between 390 -420 rpm on the pump The rest of my case fans are connected to a fan controller built in to the NZXT Phantom 530 case if that is relevant. Would uninstalling AI Suite solve the problem and would I still be able to monitor my CPU temps and speeds and change them using Corsair link? I'm conserned I could do damage to my CPU and cooler if incorrectly set up. Help very much appreciated- 6 replies

Hi there, The past dew days I've been pulling my hair out just trying to get control of all the rgb in my system. I have a Asus Prime z370-a mb, Asus Strix RX480 8GB OC, and the Cooler Master Masterbox Pro5 RGB. The fans in the case are Aura Sync compatible as are the GPU and MB obviously however, after fighting to install Asus Aura Sync(manually going through and unblocking every single file) only my GPU is shown. One solution i saw was to download Asus Ai Suite 3 prior to downloading Aura Sync. So, i unistalled every Asus program on both of my drives then cleaned my registry using Ccleaner. I downloaded Ai Suite 3 from Asus' website under the drop list for my mb and unblocked the zip file, then extracted all the folders and continued to unblock every single file within the folder. I set all the .exe files to run as administrator for all users, but when attempting to start AsusSetup the process runs in the background in task manager for a few seconds then dissapears and nothing happens. I'm at a loss here any help would be appreciated.

Hello everybody, Recently I rebuilt my computer in a new case and bought an Asus Maximus Hero X to go with it. I wanted to get the aura sync working for the mobo, as it is working for both my gfx card and addressable led strips, but the mobo is not showing up on the aura sync software. So I tried installing AI Suite 3 from the mobo support page so that I could update the BIOS easily, but it isn't working. I've unblocked the zip folder, ran setup.exe as administrator, etc., but nothing has worked. Does anybody here know how to fix this, particularly the AI Suite 3 problem? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, total noob here asking how i can deal with this problem. ive been trying to adjust my computers fan speeds but somehow i cant get the ai suite software to open at all to do it and whats worse is that the newest version i cant install because i get a prompt to restart my computer first but nothing happens. and even when i keep trying to install it won't do anything but prompt me. what gives?

These temperatures are so different that i don't know which to trust, just plain cpu in speedfan says its 38 degrees, while in asus AI suite 3 it says the cpu is 45 degrees. thats a difference of 7 degrees, way too much if you ask me. but then the mobo temp seems to be spot on?

Hey, So ive been using Ai Suite for Fan expert for the last month and i was just doing a stress test today as i plan to overclock next week, but i noticed something Semi-worrying.HWMonitor was reading temps as 60-65 whereas Ai suite was reading them as 50-55 (both under load)And since my fan curves are set through Ai suite they arnt spinning as fast as they should when they reach a certain temperature (in HWMonitor). I did read somewhere that Ai suite reads temps from the socket, which is reccomended by intel, where as HWMonitor reads them from the dye. Anyway, what do you guys suggest?Keep using Ai suite or just do my prefered curves in BIOS?

Hey guys/gals Looking into getting an H110i GT for my rig. Was seeing that it comes with some cables attached to the Water Block that aren't removable. Will I be able to control the pump and fans via AI Suite 3 or will I be required to use Corsair Link? I have been using AI Suite as my all in one computer monitoring/control suite and would like to be able to continue to use it as my one stop shop. Comments? Experience? HELP?

Whenever I go to install AI suite 3 the program either doesn't do anything (besides open an idle background process) or begins to install on to tell me "your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements" If I try to start the fan controller hardware right from the downloaded folder, the #1 reason that I would like the software to work, it tries to install and gives me a similar error about system requirements. I've tried using the copy on the CD-ROM that came with the motherboard and I've downloaded it from the support page of the exact motherboard I have and also other similar H87 Boards. I've tried so many things that I've seen in other forums such as restarting in safe mode and running a "cleaner" and forcing all of the EXE files to run with admin privileges and even running another copy of windows on another hard drive. The closest I've come to fixing the issue is finding a cleaner on the ASUS republic of gamers site but all of the links give me a 404 page. Another side note is that I can't install on board Ethernet driver and many other drivers gave me lots of trouble however i'm using a PCI wifi card 90% of the time so it's not a problem. Any help is appreciated even if it's just another point of view. Intel i5 4430 @ 3.00GHz (Haswell) NVIDA GeForce GTX 770 with the reference cooler(2GB) mobo ASUS H87M PRO 8GB ram SSD and HHD drives (2 TB total) 600W PSU Windows 7 Home premium Note: the copy of windows came with an alienware that I cannibalized for parts. It has some bloat ware that I've disabled or deleted and may be the issue but I don't have the resources to test

How can I go back to using Q-Fan control in the Bios instead of the Fan Xpert 3 presets in AI Suite III? The software overrides the bios settings. However, I want to keep AI Suite 3 installed for other features so I don't want to delete it. I just want to get Bios controls of the fans. Cheers
