I've previously posted 2 RMA experiences I got my third unit which is my second replacement... It started to crash again... so I had in examined I have been confirmed that my card is defective...again It shuts down on full load I got it tested in private hardware engineer What do you guyz recommend I do? I don't want anymore 1080ti amp line...as my replacement I have to pay another shipping cost of 130$ dollars to send it RMA. This is fully zotac's fault. they've made me go through 3 defective products. I've payed almost 300$ for RMA shipping only to get 2 more defective replacements. They failed to fulfill their own warranty,,, Should I tell them to replace me 20XX instead?? could I reject to pay for the shipping for international RMA because they failed to fulfill the warranty by sending me 2 defective replacement???

Hi guys! My computer is having a shutdown problem again. When I turn it off through windows, it will turn the display off, but the fans will continue to spin. What should I do? I updated my bios and disabled programs that stopped the shutdown, but it only worked once. What should I do? It is not a PSU issue. It is rather windows or motherboard. Thanks.

Hi A few months ago I already made a post about this, the problem was even resolved but after about 2 weeks something other happened and now I'm back with my old problem... Old Post: The solution was: It worked! But then I wanted to make a full backup just in case... you know... the same thing happened again.... oh irony As soon as I plugged my backup-drive (WD RED 1Tb) in my Pc it froze... I tried to get it to respond, but in the end I could only kill it (4s on pwr-button). Now, the problem is, that I cannot even get the Pc/Bios/whatever to get to recognise the installation-disc/thumbdrive (thumbdrive with updated drivers of course)! well... they get recognised, but they never boot. So, how can I get my w7 to install / my machine to recognise the media and boot into it? how can I prevent that from happening again? I really hope someone can help me on this! Many Thanks Pumpkin @paddy-stone (I finally got the motivation back)

Lets Just jump into the question. I already know that oil probably will break a not-too-much-powerfull-pump and the pressure probably will kill something and/or oil won't be good to flow on small tubing But all because(for what everyone say) there is not enough power from the pump to let the oil flow like water and not being so damn slow. But what IF we just use 2 pumps instead of one ? Would it work or it's just me stuck with a dead mobo and being bored at home with stupid ideas ? It would be nice tho In case of leak there won't be any damage at all (bad english but it's morning here and i've lost my train for school)

I posted here yesterday asking about new GPU's because mine died. LIKE THIS (IMGUR LINK) Well, after sleeping overnight, I turn on the PC and there's not a single white horizontal line on screen, both monitors working, afterburner/windows detect that I have GTX570 while yesterday I had "Microsoft video adapter". Everything seems back to normal... But I'am scared.. and confused... Does it mean it cooled off and its good for 2 hours of being a facebook machine? Does it mean I can cancel new GPU's order? I need to know what to do ;...; EDIT: Downloaded Unigine Heaven 4.0 to test my card to see if it dies again. Is that a good idea?

Orignial Source: Personal Experience Hey everyone, As I always do on YouTube, I was watching one of Linus's new videos and saw something kind of strange. Is YouTube planning on making another UI change to their platform. In the screenshot below, you can see the Player UI is different on Chrome than it is to Fire Fox, and we know that Google likes to try stuff out on their own browser, Chrome, first. Edit: To show it is not the stylish I have installed, here is a screenshot with my theme turned off. If this is the case and they are indeed planing on updating the UI, what are your thoughts? I personally quite like it. It looks clean and elegant compared to a black bar at the bottom of videos. If only they could improve upon other aspects of their site, *cough, sub boxes, cough*

This post (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/455131-lenovo-caught-shipping-yet-another-spyware-app-on-computers/) shows that Lenovo have put spyware on their laptops, again. The article shows where the spyware is on the laptop. To remove this software , do I just have to delete the folders or will that do nothing?

The Story : So a few months back I went and bought the Thermaltake Urban T81 for around $170 at my local PC shop and I haven't used it sense due to the fact that airflow in this case is crap. The issue : The front panel door when its closed restricts enough airflow that temps jump up a few degress. The Solution : Instead of buying a new case I thought maybe the case just needs better fans but I'm not sure what fans I should be looking for. I would assume I need Static Pressure fans? If anyone can let me know and reccomend some good fans that would be great! Thanks!

So, I'm back again with my plans for a new PC, and it has changed drastically since my last post about it. I'm planning for a Mini-ITX build for easy transportation to friends houses or LAN parties, and I'd like to play most games High-Ultra at 900p. My budget is $950 including taxes, and I prefer to buy all my parts at Memory Express because it's close by. Here is the link (all prices include taxes): http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/z66bf7 I'm wondering what you think I should change about it before I buy it next month (probably). Thank you! Edit: Oh yeah, I live in Canada, and I have a 450W modular power supply (Corsair CS450M) already. I keep forgetting things GAH, I can't order online because I do not have a Credit Card and PrePaid Mastercards can be a bit of a hassle, especially because of the extra cost when purchasing them.

Has anyone got what they ordered form Massdrop on time?
Floppy Kant Fish posted a topic in Off Topic
Hi, I've ordered the Swans m10's on massdrop (almost a month ago). on 1/20 the drop "organizer" came back with its going to be delayed and expect to hear back from us around 1/30. I get that Massdrop doesn't keep a facility filled with products but I see people complain that they never get the stuff they ordered even remotely on time. The Swan's where supposed to ship on 1/23. Once you add in the whopping $45 for shipping to Canada, their prices aren't even that good. Comparing to Newegg for the same Swans m10's, Newegg is $105 after shipping ($85.99 (on sale) and $20 shipping). Massdrop is $89.99 and $45 in shipping making a total of $135. Everytime that I have bought something on Newegg it will typically arrive within the week if I order before Tuesday. As I mentioned I am currently looking at a whole month of waiting for Massdrop. I should have ordered these speakers elsewhere but Massdrop was the only site that I could find that had them "in stock". So, how's has your experience been with massdrop? -
Is it possible to downsize? [READ DESCRIPTION]
MattGameDev posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
So, i'm a college student and as many of you current/former college students may realize is that space is a huge issue inside the dorms. Currently i have a Mid-tower PC (specs listed below) and it does not travel well (9 hour drive across the province and weighs a nice bit). I was wondering if it was possible to downsize my PC. Here are my current specs: CPUIntel i7-2600k @ 4.4 GHz MotherboardAsus P8Z68 Pro-V Gen3 RAM16GB (4x4GB) Corsair Vengance @ 1600MHz GPUNVIDIA GTX 480 CaseCorsair Vengance C70 (White) StorageCorsair 128GB SSD & WD 1TB Black 7200RPM HDD PSUOCZ 1000w Gold Certified (Fully modular) Display(s)Asus PB238Q IPS Display CoolingCorsair H100i Dual 120mm Radiator w/Corsair SP & AF 120mm Fans I figure i would need a motherboard compatible with my CPU, new case and that would be it? Although, it's much simpler said than done. I want to keep most of my PC components for the time being due to the college life and money is tight (a nice summer job will help a bit). Remember, i'm trying to make the PC smaller with as many as my original components as possible. So, is it possible or am i just a fool for trying? -
Hello I just wanted to ask if using the HDD from my old PC, which has only Windows 7 files on will work in my new PC. I can't really afford to buy Windows 7 again as I went overbudget on my build Thanks

It's been almost a year since I was last on WoW, and then it was really just because I had found a 2 month card that I figured I might as well use. I was really a huge fan of the game back in late BC and throughout all of WotLK. I played with tons of friends that I had both met online and knew in real life and we were all super excited for Cata, but it ended up being super disappointing. Recently I have started seeing commercials for WoD and a couple of friends are playing again. To be honest it looks like it will be fun and I kinda want to try it, but I don't want to start and then have it end up being like Cata or MoP. Anyone currently playing that can give some insight?

Hey guys, So I'm going to be doing an mATX build for my first computer soon (hopefully) and I was originally going to get the 350d. After seeing so many recommendations for the Arc Mini R2, with little to no reason behind the recommendations, I've been wondering why so many people recommend it and if it is a better choice for me. It's going to be used for gaming with a little bit of everything here and there, I may water cool it (Edit: the system inside, not the case ) if I can be bothered later on and I don't care too much about noise as I use closed headphones. So it's really down to value and design with me. I used to like the look of the 350d but the more I see it the more bland it looks. The R2 looks a bit too round for my liking but I might get used to it. R2 is slightly cheaper here. I like the SSD mounting plate things in the R2 and I feel it might be easier to get the airflow right in that case. So... Pick one of the two and try your best to convince me to get it! Use as much detail as possible, I hate seeing one line replies.

Just starting a thread to see if anyone else has heard or played Melty Blood. I have playing for a few years and wanted to put it out there because it's an amazing game. Also if anyone has played and is playing Current Code online if so, hit me up via PM or Skype: prestonslade. I'm still trying to learn how to set it up for stable online play but eh. Also I am located in the East Coast of The U.S.A. NY.

Source: http://www.kotaku.co.uk/2014/08/26/pewdiepie-made-skate-3-popular-ea-started-reprinting-game Soo yeah. Apparently, since PewDiePie played Skate 3 on his channel, the demand for the four year old game has been so big, that EA felt it necessary to start printing it again... So, I know that you peeps might not like him, but I think it is pretty darn amazing, that a series of YouTube videos can have such an impact... Like, that game is four years old, man! EDIT: This is not supposed to be a "I h4te Poodiepaj so muchhhzzzz" thread

Hi guys, Because my incredibly cheap Sony IEMs are dying as we speak (rip), I'm looking into buying a bit higher quality IEM than those $10 things that break in the first month of heavy use. Right now I own the Philips Uptown and the DT770 and since they're both pretty V shaped, I'm actually looking for something else. Don't know what exactly. I mainly listen to Radiohead and that kind of stuff. Budget. Very Important. 50 euro's, at www.bol.com preferrably. I know I'm limiting myself with this site but I just won a 10 euro giftcard and I really want to use it. (J33s are 60 euro's - worth going for?) All suggestions are very much appreciated!

How many of you used have used bonzi buddy in the past? I remember back in the early 00's I had it on my moms computer, of course at the time didn't know it was the software of the devil. I liked it back then when I was in my early teens, now watching videos it sucked. That's not even taking the viruses into account from it. So have any of you guys used the software before? Just curious.

I am getting a new keyboard on Tuesday and I thought I had it all figured out. That was until I saw that Vortex game out with the Poker II. That was the first mechanical keyboard I fell in love with. It's also more towards what I'd like to pay. So people of Linus help me decide.
