Hello guys, I recently bought a Ryzen 5 1600 AF alongside a used GTX 780 to update my budget study/light gaming rig from the Ryzen 3200G APU I had before. Quick specs (more system info at the bottom of the post): Mobo: ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 - BIOS version: P3.70 (https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/B450M-HDV R4.0/index.asp#CPU you can see the 1600AF is supported, at the end of the list) CPU: Ryzen 5 1600AF (YD1600BBAFBOX) RAM: 2x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws 4 DDR4-2400 GPU: Gigabyte GTX 780 Windforce 3GB PSU: Be Quiet! Pure Power 10 600W Sadly the system just won't boot/post anything no matter what I try, which to this point was: Updated the motherboard (Asrock B450M-HDV R4.0) to the latest BIOS (p3.70) that should support the 1600 AF Used just one RAM stick in both (2) slots Checked all cables: CPU power cable, CPU fan cable, GPU power cable, HDMI connected to GPU Cleared CMOS (jumpers & battery) Returned the 1600AF to the shop and received a new one, still doesn't post :I Tried on a different monitor with a different HDMI cable Checked on BeQuiet site if the PSU is powerful enough for the system (it is, 600W) The same system runs perfectly using the Athlon 200GE I bought to update the BIOS and it's using the discrete GPU (GTX 780). This isn't my first build (something like the 7th) and I have no idea what's wrong. This should work, right? I'm considering trying to ask the shop if I could switch the AF with a Ryzen 3100, although the 1600 AF really was more interesting for me as I'm studying computer science and always compiling programs. Any help is greatly appreciated! Hi! I would like to know best setup for airflow for Mastebox 5 case. From my research 2 fans front and 1 back is good.... or 3 front 1 back? 3vs1 would be too much push in air but too low pull out. 2vs1 sounds right.... And some advice for fans. I like led blue fans. What setup? airflow or static presure.... Like 2 front fans AF and back SP? Support for fans are - FRONT x3 120/140mm, BACK X1 120mm My setup will be i5 or R5 AMD... I think air cooling for CPU.

Hello Friends I am planning to build new PC. I am into VFX and 3D animation. I do not want to go for liquid cooling. I might go for RAM over clocking not CPU over clocking. I am gonna buy.My confusion is it should be SP or AF and what should be minimum RPM to be there? Corsair 460x case i7 6800K (Brodwell-E) 3 120mm fans at Front 1 120 mm exhaust fan. CPU cooler Noctua NH-D15S Thanks

Dear Community, I've got a few questions concerning the position/setup of my fans in my PC case. I got three Corsair Air Flow 120mm white LED fans as an intake at the front. As exhaust I got two Corsair Air Flow 240mm white LED fans at the top and two Corsair Static Pressure 120mm LED fans at the rear. (push-pull with my 120mm rad) The thing I am concerned about is, if the three fans at the front bring in enough air into the case since there is a dust filter at their pulling side and my second question would be, if you guys thing that my two 140mm AF fans at the top manage to get enough hot air out of the case since the is a pretty fine dust filter at the push side. Any recommendations are welcomed! Thx!

I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me. I'm looking for some particular fans. Specifically, UV LED-lit fans, not the UV reactive kind. I want to add some UV effects to my watercooling loop, but I would rather not spend another $100-ish dollars on a UV light kit, if there's a fan out there that can do what I need. Here's a pic that will hopefully help: Replace the blue fans with some UV LEDs, and that's exactly what I'm looking for.

Up until now, I've been manually pulling focus on an Fs700 with sigma art series lenses (specifically 35mm f1.4). Recently, however, I've been using the camera on a Dji ronin, and without a wireless follow focus and focus puller, I'm stuck relying on auto. This works reliably and flawlessly on my Zeiss Batis and Sony/Zeiss native lenses, but I need the wider angle and fast aperture of my 35mm. The issue is: - AF does not engage with the sigma 35mm and mc11 (works on a6300 b cam) - AF motor engages to try to keep focus if it's manually set before shooting. -AF works flawlessly on other lenses -MF is impossible because the camera is on a gimbal. -AF did reliably track faces before with this setup, albeit slowly. Does anyone else have any experience with the mc11 and the Fs? Is this normal for adapted glass or is this an issue that can be resolved?

Recommend me some RGB fans 120mm instead of the corsair ones. I don't need those nzxt ones too. I need the ones with the rgb on the fans.

I don't plan on using a radiator for some time, and I know SP fans are for radiators and the likes. I don't mind the accoustics but it would be nice if the fans are silent I plan on either getting the corsair AF/SP 140 / silent edition x3 (2 for intake 1 for exhaust) I'm mainly curiouse if af fans would be hinderd as intake since the meshify c has a foam like cover at the front (At least thats what I've thought after seeing pictures and videos) Also, I dont know much about fan specs and configurations. I just want something thats worth it and working right out of the box Im on a budget (Student)

Hi All, So I've just got the Corsair 750D Airflow Edition case and I'm in the process of moving my hardware across. I've got quite a few fans yet to be used: 2x SP140 Quiet Edition with red LED 2x AF140 Quiet Edition with red LED 3x AF140s that came with the case Case:- http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/obsidian-series-750d-airflow-edition-full-tower-atx-case I'm currently using my old EVGA 780 ACX with a Coolermaster 212 Evo CPU Fan for added info. Also note I'll likely be using the HDD bay closest to the bottom front fan. I'm sure this has been discussed many times, however... the first question I asked myself; SP or AF fans best suited for the two intake fans given the mesh and dust filter? I was thinking two SPs on the front as intakes, a AF for rear exhaust with a stock AF as exhaust on the top grill? I'm cautious about ensuring a positive pressure since my last shitty case ended up caked in dust. If the best solution is less fans I'm happy to leave some unused. I'm a newbie with this stuff so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello folks... i have a Corsair 100R Windowed edition case and im planing to mount a front intake fan.and the problem i have is corsair 100R has very restricted front in take vents(as shown in the above picture) so for a situation like this what kind of fan should i use ? Corsair AF or SP series ? PS :- im planing to mount a 140MM fan to the middle of the case which do not have much obstruction inside the case(my hard drive bay is at the bottom of the case)

Hi.. I'm kinda confuse of what type of fans to use for intake in this MC500MT case (http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/mastercase-mc500mt/)..I want to attach the fans at the front of the case..I know the front panel is detachable or can be set at an angle for more airflow but I don't wanna do that cuz without the front panel closed the case doesn't looks that good..So should I go for SP or AF fans????

So I wanted to verify a few things about case airflow and ask a few questions specific to my own situation as well. I will be upgrading my build shortly and want to have optimal air flow inside my case. When I first built it, I thought I understood all of the concepts originating around SP vs AF fans, push vs pull etc at that time. Now as time has passed I'm a little rusty. Now I just want to make sure I understand everything and present a few options to you guys on case cooling to see which one I should use. Please keep in mind that I will buy new fans (and better fans) should anyone think I need them. Static Pressure Fans: Used when there is some type of resistance such as a HD cage or a Rad. Airflow Fans: Used to push the most amount of air possible through. The "best" rad setup that is not push/pull would be push, with SP fans pushing from the bottom up on a top mounted rad like I have currently. ??? Currently I have: 1 280mm Rad at the top of my case 2 Corsair - Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition 62.7 CFM 120mm Fans at the front 1 Corsair - Air Series AF120 Performance Edition 63.5 CFM 120mm Fan 2 Noctua - NF-A14 ULN 140mm Fans under the radiator https://imgur.com/a/yxfiY4V [The scribble is to point out I do not have a top HDD cage installed at the moment] Now for the best optimal setup should I go with: Option A https://imgur.com/a/63YtO1C Option B https://imgur.com/a/trlCFd5 Option C: https://imgur.com/a/oYSwLSw F = SP Option D: https://imgur.com/a/hEylP1b F = SP Option E https://imgur.com/a/b3LXJnc Blank Image for you to edit I believe the rad fan setup is fine but please let me know if I should change. Thanks in advance guys.

Hello again! I recently made the decision to buy a GTX 1080ti for my next build (specs below*) and was wondering how different the performance would be. The current GPU pricing where i live if quite unusual as the founders eddition is £679 and after market cards running from £749 and higher. Is it worth the high price jump to a aftermarket card or are performance difference not that large. (Noise is not a concern for me) If it helps i live in London (UK) and my max budget is £1500 Case - NA (will be atx) Motherboard - Asus Maximus X hero wifi (or code upon release) CPU - i7 8700k (OC) CPU Cooler - CRYORIG R1 universal GPU - GTX 1070ti / 1080 / 1080ti founders edition RAM - Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000mhz PSU - Corsair RM650x fully modular SSD - Kingston 120gb - (subject to change) HHD - WD/segate blue 1tb - (subject to change) Thanks for the help!

Hi, i recently had some concerns with my next build and was told the 1070ti would bottle neck my 8700k. Is that true?, if so should i push my budget and buy a 1080? And if i buy a FE 1070ti/1080 because its cheaper is there any performance difference between a FE and a aftermarket (AF) ? Is it worth the extra £70 - £250 for a AF card? Thanks for the help!

Greetings, friends!I'll be building my first rig (Yay!). My problem is that I don't know whether I should buy SP fans or AF fans for the front intake of the case (note that it has a dust filter), and if it's better to have 2x140 or 3x120. I was leaning towards 3x120 SP Quiet edition fans from Corsair since I like the looks... The PC will be something like this: CPU i5 6600k w/ a Cryorig H7 MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X Storage WD Blue 1 TB 7200rpm Mobo Z170x Gigabyte Gaming 7 EVGA G2 650w PSU Ripjaws V DDR4 @ 2400 Corsair Carbide 400C case Any help is appreciated!

Hey everyone, So i'm looking to upgrade my rig with some new fans, and have been looking at the Corsair SP and AF series. However Corsair doesn't seem to make any SP 140mm (non-LED) fans. How bad is the performance hit using 140 mm AF fans as opposed to 140 mm SP fans. Thanks in advance, Hodge

I'm bored. Very bored. I need something to watch on YouTube, and I'm (more or less) fully open to suggestions. - I've seen all the ChannelSuperFun stuff, and the Scrapyard Wars stuff. - I've seen the entirety of Frankie's DayZ, Rust, Ark, etc. - I've seen the entirety of SovietWomble's channel - I've seen the entirety of Criken's channel - I've seen all of Mr Sark's stuff - I've seen all of Funhaus' stuff. - I've cranked it to all of Robbaz's videos. - I don't want to watch PewDiePie. Or Minecraft. Or Agario. Or COD. It can be tech related, gaming, etc. Please help.

So I'm getting 2 Corsair SP120s to replace the stock fans on my H100i Which ones should I choose for the best ceiling rad exhaust fan? (I plan to connect them to an NZXT touchscreen fan controller & MSI Z97-G45 mobo for software temps too if possible) AF120 Performance AF120 Quiet SP120 PWM Performance SP120 PWM Quiet SP120 Performance SP120 Quiet Here's the Amazon link for the specs of each choice: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00C249QNE (Also: Does PWM matter?) My fan knowledge is still a bit limited so any help is greatly appreciated. Edit: All fans for Enthoo Luxe build: -2 front intakes (Noctua NF-S12A x2) -2 rad ceiling exhausts (Corsair SP120 x2) -1 front low rpm ceiling exhaust (Luxe Stock 140 x1) moved forward to make room for the H100i Rad -1 rear exhaust (Luxe Stock 140 x1) I realise that seems like a lot of negative pressure, but I'll be keeping the extra front ceiling fan at the lowest rpm if I do end up keeping it up there. May even test it out on the bottom behind the HDD cage as a low rpm intake. So 2/2.5 intakes 3/3.5 exhausts.
