When AV1 encoding support was released on OBS Studio, I wanted to try it out. However, I'm having trouble importing the encoded clips into Adobe Premiere Pro. Does Adobe Premiere Pro support AV1? hi newbie here! I'm recording a video of me playing bass with an original source track in Adobe Audition. here's my dilemma . the recorded source track is coming in a 44100, my camera ONLY puts out in 48000. anything going through my interface I can change the sample rate to whatever I want how do I make this work so that my video isn't slightly behind the music. side note the music seems to be fine its just the video that's not right. any help would be appreciated

TLDR: Twitch takes my neat little CFR stream and VIOLATES it with VFR, making my life as a youtuber an asynchronous headache. Is there any way to stop Twitch from changing my stream from CFR to VFR? Note: I know about HandBrake. Aside from prevention, I am also looking for solutions that does not involve converting and increasing file size. I've been researching ways to make my process of Twitch streaming -> YT content faster and take up less storage space. My current workflow is: stream, make stream highlights, download highlights from the Twitch website, and import them into Adobe Premiere Pro. My current problem is that the downloaded video (mp4) from Twitch is in VFR and the A/V ends up out of sync when imported into Premiere. According to the internet, there are many ways to fix a VFR video. The only one that has worked for me is converting the video back into CFR with Handbrake. Even with HandBrake, the audio is still slightly offset but has the same offset throughout the video (instead of an increasing offset farther into the video). This allows me to shift the audio until the A/V lines up enough but not perfectly. Other methods involve simply renaming the file to .mov or .m4v or .dif. These have either done nothing or are incompatible with Premiere. Here are some Premiere settings I have checked and tested without success: Preserve Audio Sync is on by default. Changing the sequence, timecode, and interpret footage settings doesn't help. I recently improved my OBS settings enough that I almost never miss frames. Recently, I streamed Spelunky 2, a very easy game to run. My OBS output a constant 60 fps and missed less than 100 frames over the 2 hours I streamed (I never skipped or dropped frames). The highlights from that stream (9 min long) also ended up out of sync. Since it can't be my OBS's fault, the problem has to come from Twitch. What ticks me off the most is the Media Info of this video: Frame rate mode : Variable Frame rate : 59.775 FPS Minimum frame rate : 0.936 FPS Maximum frame rate : 62.500 FPS Original frame rate : 60.000 FPS Since the "original frame rate" was 60 fps, I can infer that the video (untouched by Twitch) was indeed CFR. Strangely, this is the first time I've seen "original frame rate" in my mp4 files. (Also, I have never seen a minimum frame rate that bad. It's usually just a few frames below the maximum) In the end, I could just use HandBrake or record the whole stream on my hard drive. But after trying for so long, I REALLY want to have my cake and eat it too. Is there anything I can do to have my way and give Twitch the middle finger or should I surrender to the HandBrake meta?

Was recording some gameplay for my channel in OBS, as soon as I saw the drive drop to KBS I did the smart thing and disk cleaned up and began re recording, now I have and unopenable 86.7 GB file and an openable 946MB file, it's a shame if that file which is obviously the long playthrough MP4 is now trash basically.

Note: Completely aware this card isn't actually supported for AE "an error occurred when processing opengl commands" Only renders about 1 minute and 20 seconds then begins this message, Optical Flares by Boris Continuum and some Lightning effects are added to this project Specs are in my profile if you need them which I doubt you will, sounds like a Preferences issue i'm not understanding or something else. Edit: Accidentally put Premiere Pro in the title mean't After Effects originally, Premiere works just fine, should also mention this video is also taking around 3-5 hours each render attempt

Hello! I just want to ask if adobe premiere pro will improve its performance if I upgrade my RAM from an 8gb to a 16gb? What I mean by performance is scrolling through timeline because whenever I edit 1080p videos it always lags so I figured if I upgrade my ram this will change? Also, will it lessen render time for videos? Thanks!

It came to my notice that, while exporting the footage it is rendering only in "Software Encoding" and "Hardware Encoding" is greyed out. I read few forums and threads and people were saying its because the integrated graphics which is "Intel UHD graphics 630" is switched off. I checked that in BIOS and turned it on. Booted up my system and installed the drivers for Intel UHD 630 and it was showing in my display drivers in Device manager. Now started Premiere pro and checked the export settings and "Hardware Encoding" was not anymore grey. I selected "Hardware encoding" and started to render my project. Now here comes weirdest behaviour of my system which I was mentioning in the title, "Hardware Encoding" is taking much more time than "Software encoding". I tried all I could, if any of you can help me with this, it would be of great help. Thanks in advance.

Hello!!!! So I am a motion designer who mostly does 2D animations. My animation program of choice is After Effects but I also use Illustrator and Photoshop to storyboard and to create style frames. Recently I have been getting further into Cinema 4D and am now realizing that GPU rendering is the new wave with a lot of 3D programs. Especially when it comes to Octane Renderer and Redshift. I currently have Windows 10 Pro, a Ryzen 5 1600, 980 Founders Edition, and 32GBs of Corsair LPX DDR4 memory. I plan to upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 7 3000 series when that drops, but at the moment a GPU is at the top of my upgrade list. Price is definetly a consideration, I don't have deep pockets unfortunatley. What are your recommendations?

This is my first post, I'm currently having an issue with Adobe Premiere Pro and now light room cc 8.2 not fully supporting Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card. I can roll back to the version 8.1 and it works fine, and I can utilize the newer version 8.2 if I delete all drivers from Nvidia. Unfortunately I'm never going to do that because I love gaming and it makes no sense having a computer(laptop) that has a graphics card with such a powerful card that's not capable of being utilized for content creation. Talking to tech support for Adobe is no help there quick to blame Nvidia even though they're not supporting the 1070 and Premier Pro as well. I use the computer for content creation as well as gaming is an Dell Alienware 17.3 R5 with an Intel i7 8750H at 2.2 GHz without turbo being engaged, I have 16 gigs of RAM at 2400 MHz.

So, 3 months ago, I purchased a Acer Predator Orion 3000, Previously I used a 2017 iMac with a i5-7600K Processor, Radeon Pro 580 8GB Graphics card with 8 GB RAM with a 2TB fusion drive, also I used to edit my videos on BOOTCAMP Windows 10. My new Computer specs are: i7-9700, RTX 2060 with 6GB, 16 GB RAM, with a pretty cool case with a lot of holes for cooling, the PC is kinda small though. The exporting times on my Old iMac with 20 or 40 Minutes 1440P 60FPS, it took 40 mins to 1 hour 20 Mins, the fans were pretty quiet, and the computer was kinda cool, the clock speed were averaging 3.80GHZ, when the computer was idling, it was siting at 1.1GHZ to 2.8GHZ, while my new computer sits at 4.45GHZ idle Constantly, and the fans aren't as quiet as my old iMac, it takes 16 to 28 mins for my new computer, the clock speed was 3.84GHZ for 20 to 50 mins 1440p 60fps, also the fans didn't auto increase , so I used the Software Predator Sense which came with my PC to manually increase the fan speed (The fans do auto increase when Rendering or anything else), but still the Predator Sense app reported that my CPU temps were going above 85C while my fans are maxed out! So I opened my patio door (-11 Outside), the temps decreased to 76C. I don't really want to do that, plus Spring & Summer is coming up. Hey all, I've got this dumb issue where my watch folder for Adobe Media Encoder will convert any media that arrives in it. The issue is that when one of our team places their media project there from Premiere Pro, the root folder has the xxx.prproj and all the media elements as well. This means AME will render ALL the files to .mp4 and shift the original to the 'source' folder. The issue then becomes that if a media element is rendered before the .prproj file, it is moved to the source folder and the .prproj file render fails due to missing media. Is there any way in Premiere Pro to shift all the media to a subfolder first or get AME to only convert the .prproj file? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi, I have Premiere Pro 2018 (12.1) which supports rendering with iGPU so I enabled my iGPU. My problem is that when I try to playback sequence the video preview is black, in project settings I tried to change it to every possible thing there but it didnt help. When I disable iGPU everything is working fine. But I want to use iGPU with the newest Premiere because its a lot of faster (I saw benchmarks). Can you somehow help me ? Sorry for my bad English. So i've recently been adjusting my current workflow in Adobe Premiere and i noticed that two shortcuts seem to act the exact same. Shift+Delete and Alt+Backspace Both of them ripple delete the selected clips in the timeline panel, and so far I haven't found out if either one of them has another specific use that I'm missing out on. If you know the answer please let me know. Other wise it just seems like a huge waste of a shortcut

Hi, so all of a sudden I'm having this problem, when exporting this certain video (24m 52s long) everytime it gets to 19% it either crashes the program or the entire PC, as in the keyboard and mouse turn off (their light) and screen is black, and I have to hard reset the PC. This didn't happen before. This time I've checked the temps to see if that may be the problem but I don't think so, GPU was somewhere in 55-60°C and CPU too 54-57°C with peak of 61°C What I am going to try is: Export as different format other than H.264 Disable cuda acceleration If anyone met with this kind of problem before and knows how to deal with it, I'd be glad to hear it, thanks PC specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nYFxhq

Hi all, i recently upgraded my whole system to cater for my video editing needs the specs are below: Ryzen 3950x MSI Trio RTX 2080 Super 64gb Ram MSI MEG Ace M/B Windows 10. Basically when editing in premiere my footage loses frame when playing it back. I'v tried to look on other forums but can't seem to find a solution. Iv tested benchmarks/games to see if the hardware under performing but seems to be normal. I don't know if im missing something in premiere or in the settings of my hardware restricting premiere? How to speed up the rendering process in premiere pro? my GPU is killing me

Hi Guys. I really need to have realtime playback in Adobe Premiere Pro in my laptop so that i don't have to export videos everytime I want to see them, especially when I have to show it to clients. Usually, many frames are dropped so the video lags awfully and it's annoying. Do you guys have any solution to this? Do I need to change my hard drive to an SSD? Is the CPU/GPU not powerful enough to handle Premiere? I was wondering what video codec would give you the highest quality out of x264/Quick Sync/Nvidia NVENC for a local recording on OBS. If it helps as well I would also edit and render the video using Adobe Premiere Pro using H.264. Thank, GR412
