So, I was looking at my battery degradation on my stealth a while back and noticed that the battery wear level is about 15% on HWMonitor, which is still bearable. That got me thinking of a replacement though, since there are a myriad of minor issues that I have with the 7th gen Blade Stealth. I have a decent rig at home with a 1700X and dual 1440p monitors. What I need is an ultrabook that is similar to the Stealth 2017, but with a bigger battery, and preferably a Coffee lake CPU. Does anyone have suggestions or specific models that would fit my use case? My main mobile workload consists of 80% of the time on Teamviewer when I'm in class or at work, with the other 20% generally on OneNote/Chrome/FL Studio/Ableton. I'd like to have ideally a 13-15 inch display. My price point is anything under $1300 Canadian rupees (can be stretched if there's a very good value near it) A few dealbreakers are: - Non-touch display - <1080p display - Heavier than 1.7kg - Average or below average battery life - <8GB RAM (unless expandable/upgradeable) - Any 2C/4T CPU or less Almost dealbreaking: - No backlit keyboard - Non-aluminum chassis - Lack of Thunderbolt support - No Windows Precision trackpad Nice-to-have: - Pen support - 1440p display (doesn't have to be touch in that case) - Comfortable keyboard Ideally, I'd like to have an i5-8520U with expandable ram slots, glossy 1080p touch display, >50Wh battery, backlit keyboard. For the price, it's not unreasonable. I don't need SSD support (I have extra 2.5in and NVMe SSDs lying around to upgrade with) and don't care about RAM if it's user-upgradeable. Hopefully there are some dollars that can be saved through those two options. Any suggestions will be welcome :) Cheers!

Hello guys, today I decided to write a review for my new Razer Naga mouse. Also this is my first review so please be kind and finally write your opinion if you have this mouse. So lets start with the review. How I said I bought Razer naga and I found a lot of great things about it and almost nothing negative. First what I personally love about this mouse is the 3 interchangeable side panels for ergonomic fit and the anti slip rubber coating. What's more it has 12 mmo optimized MULTI-button thumb grid and two buttons under the scroll wheel for on the fly sensitivity. Now inside the mouse there is a 3.5G laser sensor which can go up to 5600dpi. And last but not least it has 5 Zero-acoustic ultraslick mouse feet. All the settings of the mouse you can change them with The Razer Synapse 2.0. I hope that this review will help you decide if you want this amazing mmo mouse and sorry for my bad English.

Hey everybody- A week ago I bought a Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2013 edition (to be referenced as BWU13 because the name is too annoying to type over and over) and I really love it, despite not being a fan of flashy looking products. Now, this being my first Razer product, the BWU13 is also my first device to use Synapse 2.0, which I am also fairly impressed with, as far as these sorts of programs go. When I purchased the keyboard, every review I read said that the only adjustment you could make to the backlight was brightness adjustment, which I was fine with. However, when I installed Synapse and was playing around with settings, I noticed that under the lighting tab that pulsate was an option (hopefully the image below won't bork out): Now this came as a complete surprise to me. Now, to be honest, I am not totally thrilled with the way the backlight is implemented, as it does force the LEDs to go ALL the way off, instead of just going to a very low brightness. Now, my question is, as it seems the LEDs can be software controlled, would it be possible to modify the backlight pattern within the program to "exclude" the full off point in each pulse? Any ideas? Thoughts? Just thought I would share that because it seems strange that there is no way to activate pulsate without installing synapse, which to me seems like there is a way to manipulate the backlight outside of the BWU13's built in options. For reference, here's Linus' video on the keyboard: http://youtu.be/KDQNusHVrEY?t=6m40s

Just wanna know your thoughts and opinion of the Blade and Blade pro. I mean given the really great portable form factor. Amazing how thin it is.. Would you pay such a price for it when you know you can have way better specs with the same price point from other companies with the same price points? Razer Blade 14" retails at 1800 while the Blade Pro is at 2000 if I'm not mistaken..They haven't released the official price yet but you know why these things are priced. And would you pay for the SwitchBlade UI? I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I know that gamers would often look at specs 1st before anything else. Form factor.Does it really matter? The performance to price ratio is just not there

Razer is a company known for its gaming peripherals and for its ‘cult of Razer’ Branding. It is slightly less well known as a manufacturer of tablets and pc’s. They tested the waters by teasing a new line of product called the switchblade which was a netbook sized ‘gaming’ pc in early 2011. That never actually hit the market but what did was Razer’s Blade notebook that hit shelves in early 2012 and was refreshed in late 2012. Well another refresh was just announced and I am thoroughly impressed. Packed with the latest gen Intel CPU’s and high end 700 series GPU’S from Nvidia it’s sure to be a great performer. That’s all fine and dandy, but why am I so impressed? Well it’s the fact that it’s thinner than Apples MacBook Air. I actually didn't think anything like this was achievable but Razer has engineered a special cooling system to keep the monster well ventilated, after all a laptop is useless if it scalds you when you use it on your lap. It’s 14’’ with a 1600X900 display and weighs 4.1 Lbs. As expected with a notebook this small the storage is completely flash based with the base storage set to be a 128GB Msata ssd which should make windows 8 even snappier. The starting price comes at a premium $1,799 and it is set to be released later in Q2. Here are a full list of system specs taken from Razer, try not to drool too much. Processor Future 4th gen Intel® Core™ processor (formerly codename Haswell) Memory 8GB onboard memory (DDR3L-1600MHz) Graphics and Video NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 765M (2GB GDDR5 VRAM, Optimus™ Technology) Display 14.0" HD+ 16:9 Ratio, 1600x900, with LED backlight Storage 256GB SATA III SSD Power Compact 150W Power Adapter Built-in 70Wh rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery Communications Killer™ Wireless-N 1202 (802.11a/b/g/n + Bluetooth® 4.0) Size and Weight Width: 13.6” / 345mm Depth: 9.3" / 235mm Height: 0.66"/ 16.8mm Weight: 4.1 lbs / 1.88kg Operating System Windows® 8 (64-Bit)

In an article by IGN (link below), Razer has revealed in a trailer that, they worked with Intel and Nvidia to provide THE thinnest gaming laptop ever. It contains "The latest and most powerful i7" (I assume it's haswell) and an Nvidia GPU (probably a 7XXm series), and has a 1600 x 900 pixel display on a small, 14 inch laptop also comes with an SSD and has 6 hours of battery life, gaming or just normal use, we don't know. I do have to add though, it doesn't contain the mousepad on the right hand with the macro buttons that could act like a second screen, me personally, it was just overhyped and useless. so what do you guys think, could this possibly change the way we think of PC gaming, I mean, just look at the edge, now we have a laptop that's even thinner, post your thoughts on the laptop and the trailer below *EDIT* Intel's facebook page has confirmed that it does indeed use haswell, and the GPU is a GTX 765m Source and Trailer: http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/05/30/razers-blade-gaming-laptop-gets-new-ultra-thin-14-inch-variant?utm_campaign=fbposts&utm_source=facebook Link for purchase http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-systems/razer-blade

My Razer Naga's feet are finally warn down to the point where the plastic is dragging. Getting some new feet would end up costing around 25-30 dollars. I figured it's time for an upgrade, anyway. The problem is I have big hands and I like to palm grip. (It's sort of an inbetween grip, really. But it's basically a palm.) Logitech mice are okay, but the thumb cutout always felt weird to me, like it started too far back. I tried the deathadder and hated it (I have really wide palms and the slope on the pinky side wasn't doing it for me). And I don't really want a new naga because I don't play MMOs any longer and it was on the small side, anyway. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!

Ok i think there a Ghost inside my house! Not seriously now my mouse (Razer Mamba 2012) moves by itself! And not only Mamba but Naga also! I believe that my mouse pad Steelseries QcK is the problem. But I'm not sure. Maybe it's the pc I have them connected at USB 3.0 Ports.

I think this is the first time I've really been struck by the ergonomics and build quality of a Razer mouse in this way. I bought an original Deathadder right near release when it was the hottest thing on the market (and priced significantly lower than this new one) and I really wasn't impressed. The glossy plastic didn't do anything for me, and it died in a few weeks (fortunately that was just long enough for my Logitech mouse to get back from RMA at the time so I ended up getting it refunded). That Razer is gone... The new Deathadder has AWESOME rubber side grips that make it an absolute pleasure to hold, and a matte finish to the top that is "just right". It's lightweight, and perhaps a touch big for me, but that makes sense since my hands are pretty small for a guy, and the lighting effects are nice without being overdone to the point where you look at the product and think to yourself "How much did I just pay for an awesome sensor and great build quality, and how much did I pay for RGB LED lighting..." It also happens to have one of the widest sensitivity ranges available on an optical mouse, which is the preferred technology for many gamers including many professionals.
