I'll take any of the following low-profile and low-power (as in, does not require 6-pin power) cards. GTX 1650 GTX 1050 ti GTX 1050 GTX 950 RX 560/560X (if it is compatible, which I'm not sure of)

I have a GeForce GTX 950, which has occasional screen artifacts and frequent crashes in Rainbow Six Siege. It is much less common in other games, but still happens. Does anyone know how to fix this, or at least make it happen less frequently?

I am thinking about upgrading my GPU, I have a GTX 950. I was wondering if it would be worth the upgrade to GTX 1050 ti at $210.99. The 1060 6GB in my country isn't really worth it roughly anywhere from $359.99 to $379.99 before taxes and the 1060 3GB roughly starting at $268.99 to $299.99. Thanks.

It's been a while. What did I miss? Anyway, a guy came up to me this morning and asked whether to choose the RX 460 or the GTX 950 for gaming? I told him to choose the 460 but I don't know whether it's true or not so here are my doubts: 1. Can the RX 460 really outperform the 950? If yes, how many percent? 2. Can an OCed 950 match the 460 in terms of performance? 3. Has anyone tried to put the 950 in SLI?

Hi everyone, so I have a 300W power supply from HP ( FH-XD301MYR-1 ) and I'm getting a GTX 950 Windforce next week. To run this graphics card, on the Internet, it says that it requires 350W. I don't use my PC often, I don't play to many games, I put my PC to sleep every night, and I don't plan on overusing my PC. My question is: will my actual PC power supply be enough? I know that my PC might shut down, restart or even get damaged if I try it like this. On this website suggested by Linus ; http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator , my score was 317W. Any answer would be great and I might buy either the 400W EVGA power supply or even 500W. Thanks.

Heyho I just moved and now I am trying to build a new mini ITX gaming pc. I want mini ITX because I never had it and I always wanted a small build. My original budget was 700 plus a monitor but then I bumped it to 800 plus monitor so I could fit a bit more power in there. Here is a pcpartpicker link: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/yDJkjc Parts CPU: Intel Core I5 6500 CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L9i 33.8 CFM GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB Storage 1: A -Data Premier SP550 M.2-2280 SSD Storage 2: Hitachi Ultrastart 1TB 7200RPM HDD MOBO: MSI H110I Pro Mini ITX PSU: Silverstone SFX Fuly modular RAM: Avexir Core 2x8 GB CASE: Silverstone Sugo SG13B Monitor: AOC i2369V 23.0" 60Hz If there is anything yo would change then please tell me! I would still like to shave up the price if possible but I like how the build turned out so far. I would love to have an all SSD build but I need more then 240GB of storage. I was thinking of putting another 2.5" drive instead of the HDD but it's too expensive. Maybe I'll skip the HDD for now and just buy an SSD once this one fills up. Thanks for the help!

Hello, I want to Build a Cheap PfSense Router and I dont need much cpu power so how much can I underclock/undervoltage the AMD X4 950? I want to Limit the Power consumption. But Please don't recommend a atom or so, I need a ATX Mainboard for my 3 dual-port Fiber cards + 1 quad-port RJ45 : ) Or do you know a cheap and power efficient CPU with at least 4 threads or cores (preferred).

My friend is looking for the best video card under $150, but he can be a little flexible I have the 750 ti, 950, 460, and 470 in mind. And, if we can find a 480 for a good price, i could go with that. What'll it be LTT Forums?

Hello! I'm new here. I need advice. A few months back built a computer, all but the GPU. It's my first computer build. Recently I decided to finish it, so I bought an Asus 950, mini GPU. The version that doesn't require the power adapter. When I installed it I got no signal, but the fan started. I tried using both the motherboard HDMI and graphics card HDMI, still no signal. Could the Intel Integrated drivers be the cause? (Update, I uninstalled the Intel drivers and the issue persists)

I have a pc with Samsung 950 pro and asus maximus viii hero. I have so on m2 and other files on wd black 3tb hdd. First weird thing is that pc won’t boot from ssd(m2). When I try to boot from 950 pro, it displays cursor on top left, it blinks and again bios page. Then I booted with hdd. Booting with hdd was for name sake, it actually used os from ssd. But for name sake it was hdd in bios. Now sometime hdd is not visible in bios so I can’t boot my pc. Can anyone help? I start the pc and it blinks the cursor and takes me to bios. Is there a way to actually boot from ssd with ssd being selected in the boot selection in bios. I’ve tried all combos of settings. Any help would be appreciated. I really need my pc. Imp files are there. Or is anything wrong with my ssd or hdd. Is this a common case, is it common with wd black HDds?

I have a motherboard with 2x6 pin power connectors from the motherboard to the psu. I want to add a graphics card, but want to know if there are any limitations because of the 2x6 pin connectors instead of the standard 24 pin? The graphics card I want to add is either a 750 ti, 950 or 960. The power supply is 450w, so no problem there. The motherboard I am using: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=1JW-000M-000T5

Hey all, Would it be safe to use to a Molex to PCIe adapter to run my GTX 950? I'm trying to run an eGPU setup on my laptop (that has already worked with an eGPU setup, so I know that won't be a problem), I have this power supply, it doesn't have a PCIe cable but it has Molex so I want to know if it would work with the GTX 950.

So our Walmart had left over black Friday PC's specs as follows, i5 7400, gtx1060 3gb, 8gb ddr4, a janky MB with only 2 slots for ram, a single pci-e, 1tb hhd and a 300 psu.... We got PC forjust under $400 after taxes, so good deal since the GPU/CPU are like $180 each. And it's a nice step up for my gf from her a8-7600 system. We replaced the psu with her old430w one. But the 1060 has the jankiest cooler, I'll have a pic included. Which I'm worried about overheating since she plans to stream some, plus the case has garbage airflow. We have a spare gtx 950 and rx 460... Would either of those coolers line up with the processor/vram . I'm hoping someone might have some insight before I dismantle and check myself. Thanks for your time, Chris

I've been having a strange problem with my windows phone I wonder how many people just left... Lumia 950 and I've come to the conclusion that it could be the battery. I'm posting this to get second opinions on the matter before I drop $40 on a replacement. This all started around the time of the WP anniversary update (build 1607). My phone would sometimes randomly restart. Before this, my phone would sometimes activate the touch digitizer but not the screen on wake, or it would activate the screen on wake but not the touch digitizer (very rare problems). These practically disappeared when the random restart problem began. The restarts don't happen when the phone is plugged into the wall adapter, but they do happen when plugged into USB power (such as in a car) and on the NFC charger. I've already tried factory resetting a number of times. The restarts still happened weather I restored the device from a backup or not. What's strange is that my phone's battery life doesn't seem to have changed, but the restart problem becomes more prevalent as the charge drains. It has also become more frequent since it first started happening. The way I see it, this probably points to the battery, but it could also point to possibly new energy management protocols introduced in the last update which causes the phone to restart when it runs into problems with high power draw hardware (such as the screen and touch digitzer) rather than let the hardware go into a no-power state. I don't know if such updates exist; it's just a theory. This leaves me with three options. 1. Buy the (probably not)new battery 2. send phone in for repairs and be without a phone for a while 3. buy a new device and burn all my cash cuz Y not? As always, thank you all of you great people for the help.

Hello guys! I just need some help in determining whether my motherboard is able to support the full speed of Samsung 950 Pro. Here are some info about my motherboard: Intel® H97 chipset : 1 x SATA Express port, compatible with 2 x SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M Key, type 2260/2280 storage devices support (both SATA & PCIE mode)*2 *1: When PCIEX1_1 or PCIEX1_2 is occupied by x1 device,PCIEX16_2 will be at x2 mode.*2: M.2 Socket 3 shares bandwidth with PCIEX1_1 and PCIEX1_2(in PCIE mode) & SATA6G_4(in SATA mode), and supports M Key and type 2260/2280 storage devices. (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H97PRO_GAMER/specifications/) Samsung 950 Pro stated that it can reach up to 2.200MB/sec and 900MB/sec (256 Gb version) (http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/950pro.html) Will my motherboard support the full speed of the SSD? and also I have a wifi PCIE adapter hooked up to the PCIEX16_2 is the performance going to be affected if I install the 950 Pro? Thanks before!

Hi everyone. I've been considering upgrading to a new gpu on my system. I currently have a gtx 660sc from EVGA, and I am considering purchasing an Asus gtx 950 Strix for an upgrade. Would this his card even be much better than the one I have now? I've been looking at scores on different benchmarking systems and they look pretty much the same for both cards. Thanks!

Hey guys! I just solved the question in this post!

So I just bought a Zotac GTX 950 Amp Edition for $100. Card works fine but however one of the two fans has a broken blade. I need suggestions for replacing the fan or if the fan cannot be bought need suggestions for an aftermarket cooler for it. If I cannot locate either one of the above, I am going to modify a standard CPU fan in its spot.

GUYS MY FTW 950 from evga didnt come for reasons that a stupid driver crashed into a delivery boy's motorbike. so this store offered me a 950 strix instead of the same price of $139.99 since the card that i ordered was the last in stock and sadly got damaged during the accident including 1080's and some 6th gen i7 . (OH WHAT is LUCK? RIGHT?) SO here as i was browsing the store i found a gtx 960 Inno3D GTX960 OC 2GB Videocard 2gb-128bit Pcie Ddr5 Dual Fan @ $120 (on sale, dont know if its still in stock the store hasnt been returning calls from anyone in days since 2 gtx 1080s were damaged in the accident too, the description says it ships from asia) vs Asus STRIX GTX950-DC2OC Videocard 2gb 128bit OC DDR5 @ $140 which one do i take? i dont know the brand inno 3d is it good? or is the 950 strix just way better? all i know is that the asus strix has a better clock in silent mode and oc mode than the inno 3d 960. but the cuda cores from the 960 is like wayyyyyy more. its like 200+ more (?) guys help me choose im torn between a better looking one vs a better GPU.

While playing any game at random my GPU will underclock itself. making frames drop to a point where the game is unplayable. The card does not get that hot while checking in afterburner while the game is launched I usually have 40-50 degrees in BL2. One temporary fix is that if I roll back my drivers/update them based on whether I updated it or rolled it back previously it fixes it for the rest of the day. I am not overclocking anything.Computer Specs:i7 6700kZotac GTX 950Asus z170 pro gaming MoBoWindows 10
