Hey guys building a new pc and need help connecting the psu to the mobo. I know I need to connect the 24pin to the mobo but it's got an extra 6 pin ('sense' text on the cable). Do I just tuck this away/cable manage and get 8 pin and connect that to my mobo or do I just plug it anyways. Thanks

i am confused which macbook configuration should i buy macbook pro 16gb or 8gb ram variant or should i consider macbook air ?? my use case is i’m engineering masters student so i need to work on cad software related to my studies and i’m also pursuing my hobbies of photography and small video content creation which system would be good for me -
Nowadays for most peoples best options, you can get an iGPU (Vega 7 in this case,) or get a cheap GPU like the GT 1030. Which is the best for short-term? GT 1030 is more expensive, but maybe more powerful, idk. Vega 7 is only on the 5600G, but people say it’s fine. Which one is better for the “short-term can’t get a GPU?”

So I'm on an hard choice between oneplus 8 and 8t. Contestants are: 1. Oneplus 8 12/256gb Interstellar Glow for - 635 euros 2. Oneplus 8t 8/128 aquamarine green for - 635 euros Pros for 8: 1. more ram and memory 2.90hz eats less battery 3.more premium look, because of curved glass Pros for 8t: 1.120 hz display 2. Faster charging 3.bigger battery(tho 120hz will eat that difference) 4. Comes whit newer Android out of the box(so probably will get 1 major update more than 5. One more camera, tho I think useless for me(as macro on both phones) Those differences aside they are both equali powerful in my opinion. The biggest problem for me is the price, both cost the same, but 8 has more ram and storage. I use my phones carefully whit cases and screen protectors, so I don't mind curved screen. Need your opinions which one to buy. Tnx for help

I am going to freshly install windows on my sisters laptop she probably has a virus, My Question is can I use the windows 8 product key to install windows 10 or do I have to install 8 again. I need a definite answer, with proof if possible. Thanks 30op

So I have a dual cpu setup and they both have a 8 pin cpu connector and i used a pcie to cpu 8 pin adapter for the longest time but recently i was gifted a gtx 1070 and this one had an 8 and 6 pin pcie connector. So i unplugged one cpu connector thinking oh i will just use one 6 core xeon for a while until i get another Power supply. When I booted up the system though both cpus were detected and so was all 48 gb of ram. I have done multiple stress test and none have crashed the computer. Does any one know how or why the cpu would still be working? -
I Got The Samsung Galaxy S8+ With Telus 5 Days Before Launch. Since Then Some How There Are Several Scratches Everywhere on The Phone. Is There Any Ways To Fill In The Scratches Or Is There Any Warranty That Covers That Or Any Other Ways? It's Very Annoying. And I Bought A Case And A Screen Protector Recently But The Scratches Are on The Screen.

I want to build a GODLY system computer and I need advice and for someone to point me in the right direction. I either want to build 4/cpu system or a 8 cpu system with all XEON processors and at least 4 Titan's in SLI. Before all of you jump on me and laugh, keep in mind I am fairly new to system builds and am not an expert at all in this field. First of all I was a little disappointed to hear that windows 10 doesn't natively support more than 2 dual physical processors, so my question is, is there a workaround this issue. I'm thinking that there is some type of hack/modification for the end user to use more than 2 physical processors on windows 10, maybe a program (customized OEM of some sort or maybe a program that someone released) or some type of method to get around this issue. I'm sure (giving all the gaming mods and election hacking by the Russians and all the yahoo hacking) that there is some type of way to turn a windows server 2012 edition into a windows 10 version. My second question is: Do anyone know where I can get CUSTOM built motherboards? The reason why I ask is because I realize that I may run into a problem with ECC memory (depending on the configurations). Also, is it possible to order a CUSTOM built mother board capable of running 4 way SLI Titans (and yes, I heard that Nvidia currently only supports 2 way SLI, but I've heard that you can create profiles/hack/modify) without ECC memory? -

I have a Ryzen 5 1500x and I can overclock it to 3.8Ghz 1.3v stable! But I can't overclock it to 3.9 - 4ghz, no matter the voltage it fails Aidax64 Extreme stability test. For all you apple fans out there, the first dummie units of the upcoming iphone 8 have arrived. Source: https://www.tomsguide.com/us/iphone-8-design-prototype,news-25636.html The most striking thing about the iPhone 8 design, as seen in this Marques Brownlee video, is the nearly borderless display. Apple seems to have finally ditched the chunky top and bottom bezels of previous iPhones in favor of an edge-to-edge display that provides roughly the same amount of screen as the iPhone 7 Plus in a much smaller package. The only thing that's a bit jarring is the small module at the top, which houses the phone's front-facing camera and speaker. This little bump matches the iPhone outline found in the leaked HomePod firmware, which leads us to believe that it's most likely legitimate.

I live in usa wisconsin. I ordered 2x 8pin PCI-E Sleeved Cable Extension , 2x 6pin PCI-E Sleeved Cable Extension , 1x 24pin Sleeved Cable Extension , and 1x 8pin EPS Sleeved Cable Extension . Theyre all custom all dark grey sleeves. Order was placed September 10th(2017) and its the 20th. Status is still in "awaiting fulfillment". I left them an email on monday night around 6-8 pm and its wednesday Sept 20th 5pm but no replys yet. This is my first time ordering from mainframe and im still waiting. Good thing I didnt pay $30-60+ days for them other shipping options!!! If customized order usually takes longer then I will give them another chance and will wait patiently.

so i am an android power user i root all my phones regardless of their warranty but i never really bought a high-end phone. The thing is i just saved enough money to buy note 8 exynos version in USA cause apparently it's almost impossible to root the snapdragon version so my questions are 1. if i buy a note 8 exynos in us do i even get a warranty? 2. if it covers the warranty will i get the hardware malfunction warranty if i root it? 3. someone said to me buy an additional warranty to cover the phone when you root it. is this true? 4.should i buy it from Amazon or www.bhphotovideo.com? or another website ?

Hi guys good day. Im having a bit of trouble making my pc post. I just finished the build specs will be below. Everything is hooked up correctly as far as video tutorials go, when click the power button it boots but nothing shows on monitor and after a couple second, like 30secs, it shuts down by itself but before that freezes at qcode 55 for like 5secs then briefly shows an 8 for like a milisecond (not 08 just ? then shuts down. I have looked at code 55 and it says "memory not installed" but I've tried different dimms, used one stick, use both sticks switch it around all sorts but still nothing. Any help is appreciated thanks. Mobo: Crosshair VII hero wifi Cpu: Ryzen 7 2700x Memory kit: 2x8gb corsair vengeance 3000mhz ver. 5.36 Cooler: AIO masterliquid ML240R RGB PSU: Evga supernova 850 p2 Case: Bequiet dark base pro 900 rev. 2 Edit: when memory is completely removed from system it stays on and qcode "AA" is shown. So now I thinks its possibly a memory problem not sure as i dont have anymore to test and ddr4 memory is very scarce where I live, so what to do?

Hi, I just wanted a quick hot check before I buy a new screen protector for my future iPhone 8 Plus. I've always used Spigen tempered glass screen protectors and so I decided to go with Spigen once more for my 8 Plus. I found on Amazon that Spigen sells the same model of screen protector and has listed it as compatible with iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus, but the packaging itself says the screen protector is for the iPhone 7 Plus. I took a look at GSMArena and compared the dimensions of both devices. iPhone 7 Plus - 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm iPhone 8 Plus - 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5 mm The screens on both devices are the exact same size as well. Just wanted to check, I can absolutely buy this screen protector and have it fully cover the screen of my 8 Plus despite the packaging saying it's for the 7 Plus, right?

Hi, so I just recently got my new iPhone 8 Plus and now I'm on the search for a new skin for it. I'm looking to cover the back glass section only, as I want to keep the silver parts of the phone exposed and pure, and also because the full-body coverage is an absolute pain to apply, my iPhone 6s knows all too well. I was looking around, and I saw dbrand will do a back glass only version of a skin for the iPhone 8 Plus, and they also have it in white which is exactly what I want. However it's $9 and then an additional $5 for shipping which is nuts. I was wondering if there are any alternative skin manufacturers that offer the same back glass only style at a reasonable price? I'm not sure I'm willing to pay $16 for what would essentially be a plain sheet of white sticker for my phone.

Hi, I am trying to build a system with a ryzen 1200 and a geforce 8800gt. My issue is that this graphic card doesn’t boot on that system. The system is trying to boot, but the gpu fan keep spinning at full speed. Do someone know if the geforce series 8 are compatible with ryzens cpu? I don’t really need the graphic power I just want that computer to host a media server and I had this card, cpu and mobo laying around.
