I am building a budget system for my little brother. Looking through craigslist I have a choice between 2 cards. The Radeon Sapphire HD 7770 OC (1gb) for 30$ And The EVGA GTX 750ti SC (2gb) for 50$ I've been looking through benchmarks, many of them state that the 7770 performs better on some games; which does not make sense to me. So I thought I'd ask some fellow nerds!

So I have ASUS Radeon HD 7770 Dual-Fan 2 GB and a EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW Which one of them is better? Since I upgraded my computers to a 970 and 1080, I'm going to give these older cards away, one is going to my friend and the other is going to my little brother. I can't really find any threads online comparing them, just these Benchmark charts, http://gpuboss.com/gpus/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-670-vs-ASUS-Radeon-HD-7770-Dual-Fan-2-GB

I recently went to a goodwill and got an AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB from Asus for 20$! I put it in my secondary PC, and it performs pretty well for a card it's age, but I was wondering if I could pick up another card and crossfire them. I got the 7770 complete in box, so I have a crossfire cable, but I was wondering if I could get a 2GB card to use as the main card, and use the 1GB as the secondary, and still have the 2GB of VRAM to use for games. My secondary rig has an AMD FX 8350, and 8gb of random mis-matched ram. I know the mobo (Asus M5A97 R2.0) supports crossfire, so I just want to know about VRAM.

Recently, I purchased 15 optiplex 780 MT from my frnd as he upgraded all of his PC's to RYZEN 5 2600. He sold me all those PC's fr $300. Kinda low balled him. These PCs contain a core2quad q9650, 8gb ram, 500gb HDD. Here's my plan.... I'll be purchasing a couple of Radeon 7770's fr about $25 each ND I'll pop it in. I'll install Windows 10 on all PC's, install all latest updates and driver's and I'll sell them to the needy. I'm planning to flip them fr $100 each. My concern is.... will that power supply provide enough juice to that 7770. Or should I search for even more low powered card??

Hey Guys! First time poster, long time lurker here. I've had my 7770 for around 3 years, give or take, and I'm looking for an upgrade. The case I'm currently using is a BitFenix Prodigy, and I have a Athlon X4 750K with 8 gigs of ram and a 430 watt PSU. So I mostly game on a single 1080p 60hz monitor, while using 2 monitors total when I'm working. I currently have the budget to upgrade to a GTX 960 and a better PSU, but I'm concerned that my CPU will be a bottleneck. Any general suggestions? Thanks!

Before i post my question, here is my gpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121642&cm_re=asus_hd7770_2gb-_-14-121-642-_-Product As you can tell it has 1 HDMI, 1 Display Port, and 2 DVI ports, 2GB GDDR5, and Eyefinity support. -So im trying to achieve a 4 monitor setup on this single card. Of my 4 monitors, 3 monitors support HDMI, and 1 supports VGA & DVI only. First of, can i have 4 monitors on this specific gpu? i know theres some kind of limitation to non-Eyefinity supported cards (i think 2 monitors) but since this ones Eyefinity supported i should be able to straight up plug in the 4 monitors and have them run right?... of course not to mention i would need active adapters from the card to my monitors (GPU to monitor: 1) HDMI to HDMI (no adapter), 2) Display Port to HDMI, 3) DVI to HDMI, and 4) DVI to DVI (no adapter)). or is a display hub or a usb 2/3 to DVI a better option (if i can only have 3 monitors working)? im looking for the least expensive route. Btw, i wont be gaming on more than ONE monitor at a time, if i have time for games. Primary use is for work. What would the lag be like with a hub or that USB to DVI adapter? Thanks guys!

So in the classifieds I found this http://linustechtips.com/main/classifieds/item/1740-evga-gtx-750-ti-2gb/and it seems like a pretty good deal. I have long been interested in the shield portable or maybe even shield tablet for game streaming but right now I have a Radeon 7770 so I can't use that feature if i were to buy one. I've been looking for a new graphics card for a little bit and although I have the money to buy a 970 or something I would really rather not. On my current 7770 I have to play some of my games at 720p which is a little bit annoying and the 750ti seems like it could push 1080p a lot better than my card considering my 7770 only has 1gb of Vram. I know the 750ti is no massive leap in performance over my 7770 but it seems like if I could sell my 7770 for like $55-ish dollars then the 750ti would be worth it. The ability to game stream, use Shadow Play, and the whole Geforce experience are other pretty big factors making me want to get this card. I would wait for the 300 series to come out but it seems like when those cards come out there will be no $100 card that can get a very decent performance. It's not like the 750ti has to last me forever either because I think it's wiser (and more fun) to just buy modern lower end cards rather than buy two 980s and expect them to last me 5 years. So ya I guess all i'm really asking is if you think $100 for a 750ti is a good deal and if you think I could sell my Asus Radeon 7770 for $55-ish. Thanks.

Hey, so my friend has an AMD based system, and since mine's intel, i really dont know much about AMD at all... He mostly plays games like LoL, Dota, and then stuff like Shadow of Mordor, Dragon Age, WoW... stuff like that. He wants to update his PC because he can currently only run the new Dragon Age on Low-Med settings, here are his specs... AMD FX-8320 AMD HD 7770 8GB RAM Thats about all we know, and he's got one 23" 1080p monitor, with a bit of an inclination to get a second monitor soon. Its important to note that he can only upgrade 1 item, up to around $150ish

So today i returned home from school ready to start my much needed week break. I jumped into BF4 played a game and it ended. As usual, the game dumped me at the scoreboard and then the next game's loading screen popped up. as soon as I deployed, though, things started spiraling. The game crashed for one, dumping me at desktop. Everything I had open (corsair link and firefox) were whited out, showing nothing but the frame. I closed them all with task manager and immediately started up firefox. as soon as I did this, my screens turned solid colors (main one red, smaller one blue) and it stayed that way for a few seconds before doing a hard reboot. It took me back to the sign in screen, and as soon as I did, both screens started flashing red at random rates. then it hard rebooted again. it did this a few more times before i was finally able to log in. what could this be? my system is almost 2 now and I plan on building a much nicer one in the near future (hence the RM1000) but i need this one to hold up until then. Help? Video Specs: i3 2100 Asrock H77 Pro4/MVP 2x Sapphire Radeon 7770 Ghz. edition 8gb. of G.Skill Ripjaws X @ 1866mhz corsair RM1000 psu

I have a Sapphire AMD 7770 thinking of getting an Asus 7770 video card to use in Crossfire. What is the performance different from single to crossfire is it worth crossfiring?

I bought my first rig not so long ago about 5 months saved for like 3 years, got the parts built it, however recently my GPU (XFX 7770) has started to shutdown mid game, I have monitored my temps whilst playing and they don't exceed 50-60 degrees Celsius, i have a corsair CX600 PSU witch as far as i know there is no issues with nothing else is dropping power, when the GPU goes everything else still works just no video, I have no overclock on the card and I never have, my motherboard is a AS-Rock 990fx Fatal1ty, not the cheapest of motherboards and a good board as far as I know, again no issues with the board. Also prior to the three times in the past few days that this has happened I have had no other issues with the computer and has worked like a charm. Does anyone have any ideas

I've had my XFX 7770 for less than a year now and several issues are already plaguing the card: 1. At random times, the screen would turn black with thin white stripes which cover the top half of the screen. A reboot is required to fix this which is really annoying. 2. Any attempt at overclocking the core even by 50mhz above stock would cause random flickering in the screen. This had not been a problem on the day of purchase but became evident about a month ago. I have all the latest drivers from XFX and have tried previous versions of the drivers yet these problems persist. Any ideas on what might be causing these problems and ideas on fixes?

So I recently bought a second XFX 7770 for my system. The reason for buying the second graphics card was so I could have more than two monitors in my set up (without having to use the display port). So I crossfired the graphics card than learning that once you crossfire the graphics cards the computer doesn't recognize the second cards display outputs. The the question that I want the answer to is: How can I get 4 monitors for my computer? (I don't want to have eyefinity on) I was thinking that I could just get a inexpensive video card and put two monitors on that and leave two on the graphics card.

My second graphics card. a 7770 died without warning overnight. Its fan spins up, but windows 8 cant recognize it. I use it primarily for boinc, but its temperature has always been fine.

So I have had one Radeon HD 7770 1Gb card for about a year and it served me well, I got at least 40 - 70 fps on Battlefield 3 with most of the settings on Medium/High, but a couple days ago I bought another planning to Crossfire and have my game on higher settings with at least the same Frame rate. I bought a bridge connector and the other card and they both arrived on the same day which made me even happier but when it came to linking them up and turning Crossfire on I tried it on Battlefield 3 and got terrible results, It ran slower then one card did and the only way I could get the Frame rate I wanted was by turning it down to Low settings. I thought this is not meant to happen so I'm sending this ticket with some screenshots of the game and Frame rate shown, I would like to get this sorted out A.S.A.P otherwise i have just wasted £100. This £100 would only come rarely too since I don't have loads of money. Any help would be appreciated thanks. All of the screenshots fps is the maximum it will go.

If i buy a Radeon 7770 1GB DDR5 will i be able to play assassins creed 4 or any new games? It doesn't matter if i can't play on high settings but i want to play it at a decent frames. My current pc specs are: Motherboard: Redfox A55F2M3 CPU: AMD A4-5300 PSU: 600W Memory: 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz Videocard: Radeon HD 6670 DDR3 I will be only playing at 720p because that's the highest resolution my monitor can do. Also i can only buy the radeon 7770 because there is a christmas discount.

I was thinking about picking up a new graphics card for myself as the holiday times are approaching and I was wondering whether I should or not. This would be used for heavy gaming and light video editing not much else. I currently have a hd 7770, specifically the one here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102993, and I was wondering should I wait or go for the upgrade now? Thanks in advance

Here's what I have already built last year http://pcpartpicker.com/p/uHJE. Would I need to upgrade my Power supply for the R9 270? Will my CPU bottleneck my GPU?

I have always wanted to get into PC gaming and I have finally decided to buy one. I know its not the greatest, but I feel it was good for the price and has some potential for upgrades. If I enjoy gaming on PC I will definitely save up for a custom built one. PC:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883258007

Well, I wanted to start folding with my 7770 that I had lying around. I put it in my PC (I have both AMD and NVIDIA drivers installed) and while Speccy picks it up, Folding@home doesn't. First time folder here.

Hey guys!! I'm planning a new build to be my dedicated driving simulator. I've got the wheel and the stand, all I'm looking for is help planning the PC itself. I was considering something along the lines of an HD7770 and a cheapo AMD with cheapo MOBO. 1TB HDD. Any other recommendations? Also, it'd be amazing if you could recommend drving games other than DiRT and GRID
