Hey guys! I own an LG K10 2017 that has a ARM Cortex A53 that should run 64 bit aplications but somehow it doesnt, any ideas of why is that? I'm running Android 7 (supported by the app that i'm trying to use). Before anyone says crossfire is not worth it most of the games I play support it + Vega 64s are getting cheaper and they are really good cards I will not only be using them for gaming but for rendering games I have made i know the vega 64s require a 550w psu and currently I have a 700w thermal take psu so I can use 1 no problem but what psu should I get to use both I have heard I could use a 1000w model but im not sure if that will be enough I have read conflicting articles saying 1000w is enough and some saying min would be close to 1400w thanks for any help. Hello I was wondering what Strip size you would make 2 x Samsung 850 Evo 250GB. I saw some benchmarks where it shows having 64kb strip is best for reads and writes have no differences because at the moment I am using 128Kib and the PC is fast but it just has a sluggish feel. I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 fresh Install and I remade my raid 0 array from 16kib to 128kib but I am seeing I should make it 64kib. Should it be worth a try the benchmark shows seek times are little better to. The Benchmarking Link For Samsung 850 Evo 250GB In Raid

Is there going to be another AMD Gpu released soon to really rival the 1080ti? Or is it going to be a while again before we see new Gpu's again from AMD? I cant remember / find if this is confirmed or not. When I go to upgrade my graphics card I want to get a 1080ti for maximum gaming and rendering performance, but if AMD released a Gpu that matched or out preformed it I would buy it in a second. I really like seeing AMD come back and I want to contribute the their success instead of buying Nvidia.

Hello! It has been 6 days and I'm totally lost. So a few weeks ago, I still had a Crossfire of 290X's. It was working well but the noise and heat was horrible. I decided then to upgrade to a Sapphire RX Vega 64. Even if it's the same kind of cooler, the noise and heat are so much better. 6 days ago, I found a gem. Another RX Vega 64 for around 350€ that was used only for reviewing (they are at 500€ generally here). I was quick enough to go on the deal first and bought it. And since that day, i never managed to make the Crossfire work correctly: Crossfire is enabled, everything is ok but when I launch 3DMark, GTA V or another 3D application that uses the Crossfire, after a short time (sometimes instantly, sometimes after 5-6 seconds) my computer literally SHUTS DOWN and reboot after a few sec. I tought it was my PSU but it had no issues with both of 290Xs and my overclocked i7 5930k. Here I tried with different cables, with stock overcloking on the CPU and even power saving mode on both cards (vita Wattman). I tried to stress both cards a the same time with a GPU miner (with or without Crossfire enabled) and it worked with no issues. Same with GPU-Z's integrated stress test. I tried swapping the cards between them, and stress them individually, no issue. I tried drivers 17.9.3 & 17.9.2. I think it's a driver issue but how the hell can drivers cause THE WHOLE system to shutdown instantly like there was an hardware failure? Here's a quick resume of my rig: -Intel i7 5930k -ASRock Taïchi X99 -4x8GB DDR4 Hyper X 2400MHz -Seasonic 1000W 80+ Platinum PSU -CF of Sapphire RX Vega 64 Thanks! EDIT: tried to DDU a few times of course

Hey everyone, I've made a deal with a Craigslist seller to get a Vega 64 for $600. I've had my eye on this card for a minute now, but I'm concerned my rig might be too old to fully utilize it, but that might just be paranoia. My specs are as follows: Summary Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 4790S @ 3.20GHz 30 °C Haswell 22nm Technology RAM 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (9-9-9-24) Motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z97X-Gaming 5 (SOCKET 0) 26 °C Graphics Standard Monitor (1920x1080@32Hz) Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Gigabyte) 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750ti (NVIDIA) 26 °C ForceWare version: 384.76 SLI Disabled Storage 232GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB (SSD) 31 °C 465GB Seagate ST9500420AS (SATA) 28 °C 465GB Hitachi HTS547550A9E384 (SATA) 25 °C 111GB KINGSTON SV300S37A120G (SSD) 25 °C Let me know if you think this rig can really utilize this Vega 64 properly. THANKS

So i went and bought a new rig, as a Intel fan i went with the i9-7920X and 64Gb hyperx ram on a MSI tomahawk board. With that i stuck a XFX Vega 64 card in there.. This was fine running 2x 1080 monitor, and games relaxed around 90fps .. Then i went batshit and decided i want a freesync monitor, so went and bought a LG 38UC99-W, a great monitor thus gaming is not my primary use for this rig but gaming is something i enjoy.. My disappointment when it started to hit 18-25fps in most games on the new crazy ass resolution 38xx * 1600 something.. So .. i could undervolt and downclock the gpu a bit, and drive up the memory speed and fans that will creep me up to a 50-55 fps stable.. is this it?! or can i possibly get more out of it.? Without going to multiple vega 64s. (cuz im already broke.)

Basically this is what happened. I replaced the TIM on my brothers 770 (Asus direct CU 2 if it matters) and plugged it back in. During that time I also unplugged and plugged back in the front usb. When I went to boot it would only go to the BIOS and the keyboard/mouse didn't connect. After resetting the CMOS battery I was able to get the peripherals working but I've had no luck on the getting past BIOS front. I read on a tweaktown article that error 64 can be fixed by loosening the cpu cooler so I tried that (Noctua D14) But it didn't help. I need some help here, can't think of anything else @Droidbot @CUDA_Cores @Energycore Appreciate any help/advice.

if you install a windows os in 64 bit does it always come with 32 bit? reason i am asking is because in windows(c:) , in folders, i have "program files(x86)" i heard that is 32 bit and "program files" i heard that is 64 bit if you install 64 bit os on computer will i still have "program files" and "program files(x86)" or do i have to install a 64 and 32 bit onto a computer i want to keep both "program files" and "program files(x86)" when installing a windows os that why i asked this question, because if i install a 64 bit onto a computer my fear is that "program files(x86)" wont show.

Can get them for the same price - 400EUR I also do some light gaming, but only on low resolution (2560x1080), and I know both cards can handle that. I mainly work in Blender and Substance Painter. I don't really do vray rendering, but I might have to use Iray in Substance Painter. But I know vega doesn't support it. Ofc I can just use Blender cycles/EVEE, Luxrender or Marmoset Toolbag instead. Oh yea and I'm planning on putting a NZXT G12 on the RTX 2060 if I choose that. But I'm not sure it's on the support list. I don't really do work in Substance Designer, but I heard it just got support for RTX cards, Allegorithmic may add the same to SP in the future. Should I give up 2Gb of Vram for iray? System spec: FSP Arurum 1000 PSU MSI B450M Mortar Titanium 16GB 3000Mhz Ryzen 5 2600 GTX Titan Black Thank you in advance!

So I just recently bought a used Vega 64 thats temporarily replaced my gtx 1080, and for some reason every now and again the screen will randomly turn solid green for a second or two, and then return to normal. The card has been repasted and the thermals look fine from the mild testing that Ive done so far and Ive already DDU'd the system completely numerous times to try and clean it out... Anyone have any guesses? I might try to undervolt but I have limited time with it atm since Im just holding on to it for a friend My specs are: i7 8700k (not OC) asus prime z370-p 16GB corsair vengence 3000mHz evga 750 GQ 80+ gold psu 120Gb ssd w/ 2TB 7200rpm HDD Gigabyte Gaming OC Vega 64

Sapphire Nitro+ Vega 64. I've got a Pure Power 11 600W from be quiet! and right now I'm not sure should I go for the card or not since my PSU only has 2 VGA outputs.. I saw today that some have 3x8 pin connectors so who's the real deal? This: v or this: v Every answer will be much appreciated, cheers!

Hello everyone! Which is the best V64 card after the liquid cooled one? Thank you very much and I wish you a healthy and mindful new year!

Just to start off with, this is gonna sound kind of petty. I have an RX Vega 64 reference card (the black and red one). My build has an all blue and yellow theme (matched the Vega Frontier Edition perfectly). Based on what I've seen from other people the cooler layout and dimensions are the same. I'd love to swap a Frontier cooler onto my Vega 64. The problem is I don't know where to get one. Would it be possible to buy one from AMD? Do any of y'all out there have one that you'd be willing to sell (maybe because you water cooled yours)? Thanks! akosin

Hello Guys, im building a Vega 64 Crossifre System with two Strix OC Cards for a friend. As i have not build a loop with this much heat draw i do not excactly how much radiator space i need. Under load the System puts about 1000 Watts from the Wall. I thoght about two 560 rads in the Thermaltake Tower 900. But my friend really likes the new Phanteks Evolv X. This case will only fit up to 2 360s. Will this be sufficient for what i have to cool? Thanks Josh

would it be worth it to pick up a second Vega 56 and run them in crossfire (im upgrading my psu to a 850w as the one i have is awful apparently ) or should i save for RDNA 2 and see what they have on offer then and sell the Vega (i can get a Vega 56 Samsung hbm2 for round £200 or $250 (im in the uk) my current psu is a thermaltake smart rgb 700w im looking to upgrade to a rm850x (or is this overkill)

Hey all! This is my first post! Budget (including currency): $2000AU Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Webpack Bundling, .NET CORE and React.js coding Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have one of those full-sized "The C64" remakes. I popped it apart, and it looks like the keyboard is hooked up to the motherboard by a single USB header, which got me thinking about turning it into a USB keyboard. However, what I thought would be much more fun is to convert the thing into my primary driver for work(Software Engineering). Has anyone ever tried getting a MINI-ITX board in a Commodore 64 before? Any resources you can link? My plan was to chuck a Ryzen 5 3400G or something in, or move to *shudders* intel, for some more power with IGPU. I can't image it would have the height clearance for a dedicated graphics card. As far as cooling goes, I am guessing I would need to create a custom water cooling solution with a single rad 120mm intake on one side, and a single 120mm vent on the other, unless anyone else has a better idea, again because of the height limitations. Thanks so much guys!

Ok so was browsing newegg and was comparing a potential future purchase, and i checked the vega 64 cards and saw the ASUS ROG Radeon RX Vega 64 and ASUS AREZ Radeon RX Vega 64. but what is the difference? i googled and can't seem to find any definitive answers and newegg's compare doesn't help all too much. any one here know what the differences are? links to mentioned cards: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126245 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126232

Ok so my question is if you have a motherboard that supports 2 CPUs on a 32 bit operating system OR each CPU only being capable of 32 bit operation, can the fact there is two of them mean that you can have 8GB of ram? My logic would be it's possible because they're two separate CPUs each with 4gb of ram? I am in no way talking about being able to have 64bit operation I'm talking about if you can double the amount of RAM you can use by having two sort of independant CPUs.

I have a gigabyte Z87 OC motherboard, I was doing a clean up by uninstalling old programs and what not before I began to over clock my components. I didn't do any overclocking or any bios updates or anything that would cause the computer not to boot. When i restarted my computer i got the error code b4 or 64, which ever it is. It has did this every time since and will not boot, no beeps, no splash screen, nothing like that, just the debug and fans spinning. I have unplugged everything that isn't necessary for the computer to run, IE hdds, fans (all except cpu), keyboard, mouse, etc. My computer isn't even 3 months old and i have no clue what the problem is, is there something wrong with my motherboard? I bought it open box off of new egg, it as a 5 year warenty so if i have to replace it its no problem. Whats wrong with it, i have tried everything that i know of how to do, anyone have any ideas?
