For R20,R15 and R11.5 you can download all of them at once and run them through benchmate https://benchmate.org/ The latest version of cinebench R20 is out! download it here > https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/cinebench/9pgzkjc81q7j?activetab=pivot:overviewtab Download R15> http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/cinebench_15_download.html To download any version of cinebench, type cinebench into google! To download cinebench 2003 go to > http://hwbot.org/ < then benchmarks> processor benchmarks> then click download. its a rar file so you will need to open it with 7zip or a similar program. To download cpuz or gpuz, type them into google and get the latest version. FAQ: How do i get my score put on the spreadsheet? You wait a very very very long time How many times can i post my scores? you can post as many scores as you like with as many different cpu's as you like. if you have 2 of the same cpu then let me know. only the highest score you get with a cpu will go on the spreadsheet. (e.g if you have a score with a 2500k@3ghz and then improve your score with your 2500k@4ghz then your score at 3ghz will be deleted and your score at 4ghz will go on the spreadsheet. if you get a with a 2500k@3ghz then upgrade your cpu to a 2600k@ 3ghz you will keep both scores. Why is my gpu being beaten by a much slower gpu on the open gl test? This will probably be because your cpu is slower single thread. the open gl benchmark is designed to be limited as much as possible by your cpu, so if your gpu is getting beaten by much slower gpu's. overclock your cpu more! How do i run the single thread test? In the top left hand corner, click file, then advanced benchmark. this should bring up 'cpu (single core)' underneath the normal cpu test. this test takes much longer as it only uses one core and one thread. Post a screenshot of your score in this thread with cpuz so we know the clock speed (dont crop the screenshot) Memory and motherboard tabs are optional, but are useful if you are looking for tips for higher scores you can take a screenshot by press shift and prt sc on your keyboard. then to see you screenshot open paint (with comes installed with every copy of windows) then you can either press ctrl and v or paste in paint and the screenshot will appear in paint you then save the file as a .jpeg somewhere you will be able to find it later open the interwebs and upload it to your gallery on the forum or upload it to a place of your choice and simply copy and paste the image into a new post on this thread Top tips to a high score: 1) Don't have any other programs running while you are doing the benchmark. This includes temperature monitoring software and cpuz. if you are concerned about your temps do one run with the monitor open to check they dont get too high, then another run without it open. 2) Overclock your cpu and gpu! 3) take your side panel off your case, open a window or go in a colder place. less heat+more overclock=higher scores. 4) Run the tests separately a few times this can get you that last extra point. 5) Run it on a fresh install if you can. fresh installs are always faster. 6) Don't use your 24/7 oc. top scores will be done with overclocks that might be too hot or too unstable for normal use. 7) more ghz on your cpu is always good, but make sure your ram is running at its full potential too. Normally 1600mhz cl8 will be faster than 1866mhz cl10. get that cl down as low as possible while trying to maintain a good memory frequency. link to scores google doc (R20)> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ItbDCn4dPaJANGgFczL3uCZRquxZXQM9Kmn17kCBdZE/edit?usp=sharing link to scores google doc (R15)> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlC81MjwelBgdEZNV3l6aHl1eUNwSUR4Rml0MXMzN1E&usp=sharing link to scores google doc (R11.5)> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlC81MjwelBgdGpFa3BPaG5QRG1QREFPU3A0dWdVTlE#gid=0 link to scores google doc (2003)> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlC81MjwelBgdGVQQnFRVUNxTjZPYVdjT1pDdHA0MUE#gid=0 R15 Extreme Score have now been integrated into the R15 sheet Example Screenshots: How your ram speed can affect your cinebench scores. Hi there, i am getting high ping and ping spikes on my iphone x while connected to wifi. My wifi has 5ghz support, so does my phone but the pings from my phone to wifi router (i.e 192.168.1.1) are between 9-10ms and spike upto 50ms. While as, my pc which has intel ac 9462 wifi card always has 1ms of ping from device to router on 5ghz band. I am guessing this is why I am getting higher pings and ping spikes in multiplayer games on my phone. Connecting to 2.4ghz one has no effect. Range is not an issue as i kept my phone right next to my router. There are other wifi aps in my area but i only get their 2.4ghz signal, never the 5ghz one. I have tried restarting my router and phone. I have resetted network settings on my phone. I have changed wifi channels also. Anybody having any ideas?

Hi all, I have recently put together a PC using the MSI Pro B650M-A Wifi as the motherboard, but I cannot seem to connect to 5ghz networks. The 2.4 ghz channels seem to work fine, but I would like to utilise the full capacity of my internet speeds. I have already tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps (all of what windows has put together, plus a few other things like disabling IPV6 and changing bandwith priorities. Its not a physical issue because my roommates PC, which sits basicially right next to mine works fine. Any suggestions?

Hello everyone, First post here. I'm having problems with my 5ghz network. I can see the 5ghz network, however, it is either very slow or indicates: "no internet connection". I live in an apartment complex, so I've already found the least populated channels. I can see all the other 5ghz networks from my neighbors but mine just doesn't work or is way slower than the normal 2.4 ghz network. Also the network is in the exact same room where I am so the range is not the issue.

Hey all lovely people, Sorry for my Bad English! So I recently brought a Huawei WiFi Mesh 3 Pack from Saudi Arabia Link to the WiFi specs. It got Tri Band support (2.4ghz,5ghz low band and 5ghz high band). Now, I live in another country. The setup was very simple but here's the issue, Only My Sony Bravia android TV (KD-65X7500D) is able to utilize the 5ghz bands. Meanwhile, all the other devices in my home aren't even detecting them. They only see the 2.4ghz band. The devices are: •Poco F3 •Nokia 8 •Samsung Galaxy S5 •Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ •Samsung Galaxy S10+ The other ones support 2.4ghz only so it's not worth mentioning them. Now, I heard it's some kind of region setting issue but I couldn't find any option to change it. The available 5ghz WiFi channels are: 36,40,44,48,52,56,60,64 low band and 100,104,108,112 high band. Any kind of help would be highly appreciated

wifi Bad wifi, but only between one computer and one router
SpaceGhostC2C posted a topic in Networking
So... scratching my head on this one. I have a small network in my house, organized as follows: ISP wifi-capable modem-router ----> my own wifi-capabe router ---> a bunch of stuff downstream via Ethernet (including a wifi AP) So, with all wifi devices on, I can get up to 3 wifi signals in the house. Moreover, the ISP router and the AP have dual 2.4GHz + 5GHz AC radios, while my router has only 2.4GHz N. Every computer/phone/thing but one can connect to every wireless network, with the expected variation in strength depending on location. Then there is this laptop. It connects to the ISP router and the AP normally (also with the expected distance-based decay), whether it's the 2.4G or the 5G version. However, it can't properly connect to the 2.4G network of my own router. It doesn't matter if I put it next to it, it sees it as a very week network, and using it feels like we're back in dial up days. Remember: every other device connects fine to that network, and the connection is naturally stronger the closer you get, so it's not a general router problem. The problematic laptop also connects fine to every other wifi, so it's not a general laptop problem. However, the combination of that router and this laptop is doomed. My question: what on Earth could cause such a specific problem? Is there any hope of a solution? EDIT: further information, I experience the same behavior under Windows 10 and Linux Mint 20 -
Hello, my internet provider is offering 5G wireless connection (5Ghz) and AC wireless connection (IEEE.811.ac). Which is better? Thanks for future advices and sorry for my bad english

Hello, I have a problem. I recently bought a PC with RTX 2060 super Aorus and intel core i7-9700k my PSU is cougar and is 650watts and Aorus z390 pro. The PCU has only 8 pin CPU connector, but the board has 8+4 is it possible to reach 5GHz on all cores with only 8 pins and if not, could I use one PCI Express cable?

I just got the RAX120, but when I went to set it up, I found that I can't see the 5GHz band from any of my devices. I have multiple devices which support WiFi 6, but they can't see it either. I've checked that it is broadcasting and tried changing channels and modes, but I haven't had any luck. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd really appreciate any help -- thanks in advance! Here are the 5GHz settings: Firmware version: V1.0.1.118 Model: RAX120|Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream WiFi Router

I bought a Lenovo Y740 last year and it has a Killer Wireless-AC 1550i WiFi card with a theoretical speed of 1.73 Gbps. I also have a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 as an acces point with a theoretical speed of 1.3 Gbps on the 5 GHz band. My max speed however, is only 173.3 Mbps (Which you can see in the screenshot down below). I don't know why this is, but I can't get it too go higher. I'm only a half meter away from the router most of the times with no obstructions. I'm at the end of my rope here. I really don't understand why it doesn't go any higher than that. Also my ISP is upgrading my connection soon to 400 Mbps, so it would be nice to be able to use the full speed. Thanks in advance! Hey all! I actually have many questions etc. I am relatively good with computers and have had several builds. I built this system about 4 years ago? Just after the release of the 7700k was released. I've always bought unlocked cpus as after a couple years I tend to oc them as high as possible before throwing the towel in and beginning the new system build. Now unfortunately I think I have a bad chip :( I simply can not get 5ghz and I'm stuck at 4.9ghz @1.375v which I feel is too high for that clock anyway, max load temps are around 65-71*C in prime 95 which is fine (I did delid the cpu). The question I have is there something I am missing? I can provide screen shots etc. Also if I can't get this thing to OC more should I upgrade? I'm currently sitting with 7700k, msi Z270 carbon pro, 32gb gskill ram 3200 ddr4(which I can use for the next build). Corsair h115i v2 and a zotac 1070 amp (I've been wanting to upgrade to the rtx 2080 as there are some super good deals where I live atm, the one store is selling them for less then a rtx 2070 super and from my understanding the rtx 2080 is a better card). Could my cpu be limited by my mobo? Will it bottleneck a 2080. I play games @1440p and I'm not happy with the 1070s performance. Thanks in advance!

Ok, so at home I have to use a mandatory modem/router set-up provided by my ISP. I can't switch the ISP. The router broadcasts using the 2,4Ghz band. Like every other router provided by my ISP in this flat. So the signal actually degrades real fast even going just a few meters away. To combat this problem I bought a network extender with Dual Band. I don't use it when gaming (thank god I have a Lan port for that) but all other devices are just used for media consumption. The media devices are all on the 5GHz band which is just a re-cast of the 2,4GHz of the router. This works great. Internet stability throughout the apartment has vastly improved both in speed and reliability. I am well aware that I won't get the full benefit from the 5GHz band because the extension is the weakest link, but it works perfect so that's fine. Now, for my question. Can anyone tell me if the devices that are on the network communicate with each other via the full 5Ghz potential when not using the internet? Erga, would it be beneficial to attach my home server to the extender to actually use the full Gigabit connection? Now it's directly attached to the Router and 4K can't be played unless a Lan port is involved. However potentially it could be possible if the full 5Ghz bandwidth of the extender could be used. It is a hassle to set this up however because of aesthetics, so I would like to know if it would help first.

I am overclocking my i7-7700k on a gigabyte z270 mini itx wifi board. I just used the preset bios to "upgrade" my chip to i7 7700k 5ghz auto. After giving the cpu 1.41volts it worked! cineabenchg scores are great. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't overheat so I began a ROG stress test. After 7mins of running at 5000.1mhz it began to slip down to 2500mhz every few seconds. the process kept happening so I shut down the test. Temps were well within limit when this happened. Maybe its my power supply? I have 430 watts EVGA. thanks!

hi guys i just wanted to know if i can get a new aio to replace my refurbished h90 liquid cooler in my s340 elite case for better temperatures at 5ghz since i can absolutely can play games no problem but when i try to stress test all cores n threads at 100 percent it reaches 90c and this is with msi kombustor cpu stress test and since i have a warning for when i reach 90c everytime it reaches that i hear the warning beep from my pc and i instantly stop the stress test and with summer comming soon im in the unites states west coast it gets pretty hot my concern is i wanted to stream my games and record soon but idk if it will be a problem if streaming+ gaming will stress my cpu to those temperatures as much as the stress test which is not even aida 64 , i also looked in youtube and found a video of some aios with the 7700k i also do not want to delid and void my warranty for the cpu since this is my first i7 im hoping to keep it alive for a while but mm yeah i know plp say nzxt aios are good for cooling but i couldnt find any videos on it being paired with the 7700k at 5ghz so thats why i came here to ask for advice for myself who does not want to delid my cpu and just want something that cools better than my h90 currently, also air coolers wouldnt bother me either but idk if theres actually any that can keep this cpu cool. thanks in advance

TP-Link AC750 Wireless Dual Band Router Archer C20 So first off, I'll be coming from a TP-Link 300Mbps Wireless N Gigabit Router TL-WR1043ND. I have tons of devices at home (mostly iPhones haha). But what's urging me to change is that I am experiencing HEAVY interference when using the BT on my built-in WiFi. My board has a built-in Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 which also has BT included. As soon as I connect anything using Bluetooth, the WiFi signal would turn sour and will be completely unusable. Either that or the BT connection will be shit. Soo now I'd like to try getting into the AC 5GHz bandwagon to avoid the BT interference. CONS (sort of): The C20 only has 100Mbps WAN/LAN ports. Although I don't use the LAN ports, my router has gigabit WAN. I'm not sure if this is a concern as I only have a 50/5 Mbps cable connection. I still have at least 45 Mbps to spare if I understand this correctly. I have an ARRIS Touchstone® DG860 Data Gateway acting as my modem (using Bridged mode) The C20 is only capable of 433 Mbps on the 5GHz spectrum while my card can accommodate up to 867 Mbps (afaik) I think this is not a concern entirely. I just won't get full speeds. I don't use the router for file transfers so I don't think it would matter? Thoughts? My current choices are the following: Archer C20 - no gigabit, no 867Mbps, - 40$ Archer C59 - no gigabit, yes 867Mbps - 60$ Archer C2 - yes gigabit, no 867Mbps - 60$ (is basically a gigabit Archer C2) Archer C5 - yes gigabit, yes 867Mbps - 80$ (I will have to wait a few months before I can get this) Other info: - My plan is to connect ONLY ME to the 5GHz band, and everyone else on the 2.4GHz. So I'm not concerned with the specs of the other devices. - I'm limiting myself to TP-Link products because they are cheap, simple, and not a single one has failed me YET. My current router is already almost 3 y/o - I will have 40$ when I sell my current router. I have a spare 20$ I can use to get the better ones, I'm just deciding if I really "need them" - Internet in the Philippines is pretty expensive, so we're kinda stuck to 50/5 Mbps for about a year or 2.

Hi Guys, I updated my Asus router just recently and all seem fine other than my desktop is not connected to the internet on the 5ghz network. My other devices such as my phone and laptop can connect to the 5ghz network and connect to the internet without any issues. The desktop can connect to 2.4ghz and use the internet without any issues. Only 5ghz is the problem when connected, it shows no network access and unidentified network. I've already tried reconfiguring to googles public DNS but the problem still persists, Lost and would appreciate any help at all.

For a long time I've been stuck with a router provided by my ISP. There are 2 main devices on the network, my PC and my brothers laptop (The rest are phones, a TV etc.). For a long time we struggled with a problem that really bothers us. Whenever someone plays a game (it's usually competitive so we need reasonable pings) the other must either play a game too or don't use the internet, because simply watching a video caused the other person to have enormous pings. And if we watch videos at the same time it can be done without a hiccup at 1080p. I thought it's, because of my pretty slow (20Mb download) DSL connection, but here's the deal: When watching a video on one computer, you can play games on normal ping!. And this comes down to buying a new router and a new WiFi card to my PC (I needed the card even without it, because the old one broke and I'm using a WiFi extender hooked up next to my PC and connected to it with an Ethernet cable acting as a Wifi card). I was reading about the standards, dualbands, 5GHz and it's a little bit confusing. The thing I want the most is being is for 2 devices to use the internet at the same time. I know my internet speed can provide it for one device so it can be done for 2 too. And with the opportunity of buying a new router and a Wifi card for my PC it can be done with the laptop working on 2.4GHz and my PC on 5GHz, but as I said it's a little bit confusing which one to buy so can someone at least explain it or even give some examples of what to buy. The router must be xDSL and I would prefer to have the card inside my PC with a PCIe x1. I hope someone can help (maybe even the mighty Linus :D).

Hello. I want to ask you the community a question. Do i need 5 ghz an i7 7700k to stream CS:GO at 1080p at 60fps. Or i'll be fine with 7700 w/o overclocking. Because in games 7700k on 5ghz vs 7700 performs pretty much the same. If 7700k wins in some games it's only by 3-4%. So if there's much improvement in streaming with 7700k i'll be totally looking for it. Note: i'm not gonna run 2 PC's with capture card to stream.

Hi All, I have been encoutnering an issue through work with a wireless bridge/repeater device that we provide with our products. the device is used to connect our Ethernet enabled products to a network via the bridge function of the device which supports 2.4GHz only, it can also repeat the network that it is bridging however we are not relying on this function for use with our products in particular. As of late i have been getting reports of connectivity issues with devices that broadcast a "Mesh" network, routers such as the Sky Q Hub and BT Home Hub 5 are frequently being reported as incompatible. These routers all use a mesh system which i think is the cause of our connectivity issues. Unfortunately my background is hardware engineering, i have limited experince with networking systems & functionality. Could anybody with experience of mesh networks or networking in general help shed some light on this issue? I would like to understand the protocol behind mesh networking to see if i can solve this issue with a software mod. An explanation on what a mesh network is and how a mesh enabled router functions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - PB

ASUS PCE-AC56 wireless card isn't picking up 5ghz signals
friendshipguy posted a topic in Networking
Hey guys - I'm not sure if this is the right subsection of the form to post this on, but my network card isn't picking up 5ghz networks. I've tried it using the network configuration tool on Windows, the utility that comes with the card, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and the card a multitude of times. Some details: There's one floor between the router on my PC that the card is plugged in to, though I'm quite literally 10 feet above the router. the 5ghz network is certainly on, everything else in my room is connected to it. I'm not quite sure what might be the situation here. It also picks up the 2.4ghz network absolutely fine. For reference here's the card: ASUS Wi-Fi PCI Express Adapter (PCE-AC56)- 1 reply

So I dont plan to really leave windows yet but plan to start the seeds as I see some tides moving and I dislike how Microsoft is doing some things that is sketchy. Thinking getting xubuntu and then messing with it to get it to look nice. I have dont a LOT of time with linux hell it works out of the box on my laptop but the wireless doesnt on my desktop. Is there any 5ghz ac wireless adapter that has FULL support on linux and if not then whats one you would suggest? Thank you have a good day.
