I decided to build my second pc and this time it will be a watercooling build in the new Corsair Crystal 570X. I'm going for a black/white color scheme componentwise with (for now) I think a blue fluid. The PC parts are as follows: CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (purchased) Motherboard: Asus STRIX Z270F ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (purchased) Memory: G.Skill Trident Z 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (purchased) Video Card: Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition (purchased) Case: Corsair Crystal 570X RGB ATX Mid Tower Case (purchased) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 1000W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (from old build) For the watercooling components: Radiators: DarkSide LP360 Extra Slim (front) w/ 3x Corsair SP120, DarkSide LP240 Extra Slim (top) w/ 2x Gentle Typhoon Dye: Mayhems Blue Dye CPU Block: EK Supremacy EVO Black Acetal Tubing: Bitspower Crystal Link Clear 12mm OD / 10mm ID Fittings: Bitspower Delux White: 8x 90 degree, 6x 90 degree rotary, 5x straight, 1x drain, 1x 4-way cube, 4x cap, 1x temperature sensor. Pump: D5 with Bitspower top and modkit Fluid: Demineralized water The case aesthethically is beautiful, although it has some issues I found such as cable management not being super easy when testing my old build, due to the limited space (I'm using both 3.5" drive bays and a 2.5"). I really like the look of the glass panels though. Definitely one of the most beautiful cases I've seen So without further ado here are the pictures. The full album is here. Case RAM Motherboard I just installed the CPU and motherboard like half an hour ago. Now it's waiting untill the radiators arrive so I can better plan out the tubing runs for the loop and the pump placement.

Hey everyone, tech and retro video game enthusiast here doing my first few posts! I bought a 570X case from Corsair a few years back when it was released, I absolutely love it and want to keep it for my new Ryzen build. I have had some issues that unfortunately happened outside of warranty and want to fix myself. First problem, one of the front fans has died and I don't trust the others. I want to replace the 3 front facing fans with these (LL120) but still have RGB control via the case controller and buttons. Would it be as simple as just unscrewing and swapping out as a plug and play or is it more complex? The LL120 comes with its own RGB controller but one is already mounted in the case. Second problem that is of lesser concern, the front 3.5mm audio out is absolute trash. Sounds horrible and I didn't realise it was bad until my motherboard 3.5mm out started playing up with the connection (constant disconnect and reconnect). Has anyone repair a front audio connector before? any tips? When I have the new motherboard Ill probably just go straight into that or a DAC but if its fixable that would be great. Open to all suggestions I have been a system builder and retro modder for a while so I have tech building and mid-tier repair experience. Thanks!

Hello, I ordered a Kraken 62x and realized that the cable from the pump to the usb2.0 is not going to be long enough because the corsair 570x is "perfectly" made for cables that are going under the mainboard. My question now is do i need a usb2.0 extension(dont know where to buy) or a mini-usb extension(easier to buy also not sure if its going to work).

So I have been working on a few things to fix flaws and add vertical gpu mounting to the 570x. So far I made a psu shroud extension to cover the cabling, and add a little flavor. Then I made a psu mount which also covers up the bottom of the motherboard. Corsair didn't think routing holes in the psu shroud was worth doing for some reason, so it covers up the cables that have to traverse on top of the shroud. They have both been painted. The shroud I like, and the mount is great but I feel like it needs some accents of some sort to make it more visible. I matched the mount a little too well and it blends in too much.. The rest of the components are from my old system, so are placeholder until I get around to getting new components. So probably sleeved cabling and that kind of thing will be going in at that point. What I've done so far required no modding to the case itself, I don't plan on doing so unless I find an idea that really requires it. I'm looking for ideas to make the mount a little more visible through the glass, or any other ideas to finish off the system. The gpu mount seems more visible in this pic than it is. The mount is not screwed into the case here. I was taking it in and out. It sits straight once tightened down. Also I think the camera in my phone seems to distort the image. Haha it isn't actually leaning like it seems. Some fisheye going on or something. Didn't do much sanding on the back. If I end up painting some more, I'll sand everything again. messed up one of the holes, but not really visible in the case. Any Ideas on how to get the mount to pop a little more, or any ideas on where to go next, colors, patterns would be a huge help. I'm not against getting out the grinder if it would make the look better. Just a bit stumped at the moment. Thought I would get some outside perspective. Thanks.

Hey guys. So I just got a 570x and I am in the process of moving my set up to it. The case comes with 3 SP fans so I ended up getting 3 more (2 for the AIO and one back exhaust). I prefer the SP to the HD as the lighting is not as harsh. To control the whole thing I decided to get a Commander pro. All good so far. My issue is this.... can I now use the commander pro and still being able to use the physical IO fan button on the case? I cannot see a logical way to do this. The fan connect to the lighting hub already on the case, and I can then connect that to one of the Commander LED headers. That is all I seem to do which means the button on the IO would be useless. Anyone know what the deal is? Maybe - @Corsair Blake Thanks.

Hi, I'm searching for a new case to build a system similar to the one shown in this video by Paul's Hardware. Basically it's a Corsair 570X but instead of tempered glass panels it's got mirrored tempered glass panels. Does anyone know, if this version can be bought somewhere or if it was a one-time thing for the convention? Alternatively it would be possible to get car window tinting foil from a hardware store and apply it to the glass, I guess. But I don't think, that it would achieve nearly the same effect. Greetings from Germany, The_Kohn

I don't know if I'm losing my mind or not but maybe someone can help. I know I remember the top of the line Corsair Crystal series having the I/O on the side of the case at the very front/bottom corner. Now when I try to find any evidence of this all models I see have it on the top front of the case. I consider myself to have a pretty decent memory, but can't find anything to back up my claims and it's driving me insane. Maybe I've mistaken it for another case? It's not an inWIN. Maybe it was an unfinished prototype? If anyone can help me maintain my sanity I would greatly appreciate it.

Anyone know if the RGB fans with the 570x case are compatible with ASUS AURA?

Hi, I am currently planning a build in the Corsair 570X. I am using a h100i v2 cooler but I would like to replace the stock fans with rgb ones to have all of my rgb fans in my case sync up via corsairs software. Which fans do I need to buy and what else do I have to do to make this work? Thanks, David @Corsair @Corsair Blake

I was unsuccessful in my attempt, so this is really only to give people looking for this kind of solution a concrete answer that I couldn't find. My goal for a while has been to use the controller that comes with the sp120 fans in the corsair 570x case, to run an rgb strip as well. There has not been much information easily found on this specific use case so I am posting this for anyone that was looking into doing the same. The reason for doing this mod was to make use of the physical buttons on the case to control all of the LEDs. There are of course software methods that can get this done, but would require disabling the functionality on the case. Corsair sells a "lighting node" and strips to go with it and a separate controller box that can link the node and the sp120 controller all through usb 2.0 headers. This makes everything controllable through their LINK software. However this will disable the physical buttons on the case and cost ~$120. Most rgb strips for pc use a +12v power and -r -g -b. My original assumption was the controller output a +5v and had three grounds similar to an led strip, so the solution would have be take +12v from a molex for the strip and wire the 3 rgb pins to the controller. The sp120 controller takes +12v from a sata power connector and spits out +5v r, +5v g, +5v b, and -ground. Corsair kept all of the components in the controller and the fans have only the LEDs. RGB strips tend to take the 12v and step down to 5v at the LEDs. One can understand that this keeps the cost of the fans down and at the same time forces people to buy more corsair products. So my dream is dead. I think my next solution will be to install 3 switches on the back or bottom of the case so I can switch between colors on the strip. Not great but I really don't want to bother with software. I hope this info will help anyone looking to do this.

Hey yall. I'm case shopping but want a case with a side panel window on the right panel not the left. If it's on the left I will never be able to see or appreciate it, and I want to. That's non negociable. As far as i can tell the single case on the market right now with an inverted layout - at least the only one worth salt, is the corsair 600c. It's a nice case, I like it. But it's plastic and perspex and I'm a huge sucker for quality material choices. It was glass and aluminium shopping for me, long before they became popular. I know there are a couple cases with reversable motherboard trays such that they're flexible. I can't name them all off the top of my head, but they include the Be Quiet! cases and the origin pc custom tower. I would look into a good case like that. What I want is to take a conventional ATX case, flip it upside down, put the top panel on the bottom and the bottom on the top (either by a perfect fit, adhesives and glue, or by some modification) and for the front panel to look good enough upside down as it is. The way I see it, there are two cases right now that look like they'd be easy to make the same upside down as right way up - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX, and the Corsair 570x. Could someone with one of those cases take a look at their top and bottom panels and see if they line up at all? I've gone to pc shops but they're not fans of me inverting and deliberately dismantling their display cases. Otherwise, tips on other good invertable cases, either by design or by accident. Many thanks.

Hello all, At long last I am due to upgrade my current rig. It has seen me through the last 6.5 years and still runs really well however it is showing its age and struggles a fair bit now. Surprisingly it still boots quickly and has great temperatures when running under load but just doesn't have the power to keep up. Old specs: Coolermaster CM Storm i5-2500k Quad CoreASUS P8P67 PRO8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz1.5GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 580 (which I upgraded to a GTX970 when it came out)120GB OCZ VERTEX 2 SERIES SSD (3 of these died so was retu4ned for a refund and later upgraded to a Samsung Evo 850)750GB WD CAVIAR BLACKCORSAIR 850W TX SERIESCOOLIT ECO A.L.C With Windows 7 later upgraded to Windows 10 So what have I decided to upgrade it to? Well I decided to stretch my budget as far as I could. This is my first proper solo build. I have dabbled with replacing parts, taking out old or dead hardware eto replace it but I have never actually built a machine from scratch. I used to buy my computers from a pretty popular custom PC building company here in the UK (3 PC's and 2 laptops) and never had an issue however the build I want would cost a huge amount more this time around if I used them. I picked up some components whilst on a recent trip to the USA which saved me a small fortune. The rest of my parts are being delivered over the next two days. New specs: Corsair 570x i7-7700k 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz ASUS Maximus IX Hero Samsung 960 m.2 NVMe Corsair H100i v2 Corsair RM650x I intend to get some PSU cables from Shakmods which I will install later. I know it will be a pain to do it later but I can't get them right now. Sadly I was let down today by Amazon so the case and the PSU won't arrive until Friday which has really screwed me over a bit. The only other things I need to sort out is getting a Windows 10 licence, get a new graphics card (I will keep the GTX 970 until I can afford a GTX 1080) and get another storage drive. As much as I would have loved to get a 1TB (or larger) SSD I will have to get something a little cheaper. I intend to post photos throughout the build until it is finished so if anyone sees any glaring issues please feel free to let me know.

Hi, My current plan for a new system has Corsair 570X as the case with H100i V2 mounted on the top. Many say that this can't be done, but I have found proof that it can be done. This guy on craigslist is selling his and he has the same case, AIO and motherboard that I am getting and according to the pictures he has posted there is ample room for memory under the fans. I guess what I am trying to say that if there is anyone with 570X case that has Gigabyte Z270 Ultra Gaming motherboard and H100i V2 top mounted, please confirm this. Based on the pictures I might even be able to get RGB ram instead of LPX...though it might be overkill The ad with pictures is here: https://stcloud.craigslist.org/sys/6167323676.html

Buy Corsair 570X on Amazon: http://geni.us/mg24 This is one damn fine looking PC case... But in a crowded market of tempered glass cases, can it hold its own?

I have been looking at the Corsair 570x case and I was just wondering if anyone knew if LTT are looking at doing their own review of the case? I'd be rather interested to know about top radiator installation with the corsair 120x240mm rad's to attach my LTT noctua fans too =p Thanks

570 board with no wifi and usb overclock?
Windows95 posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Im going to finally buy 570 and 470 as long term investment... and i want it to NOT have wireless nonsense. Has any of the current brands anounced one without wireless stuff? I am also interested in an usb port that I can overclock without doing annoynig stuff in windows. I like to run my wmo mouse at 500hz, and for this I have to overclock the usb port from 125hz to 500hz. In windows 7 this is done with a propietary driver so you have to run in test mode which is annoying. But the fatal1ty asrock mobo has an special usb port that you can overclock without risking installing dodgy drivers. So my question is, is it possible in windows 10 currrently to overclock the usb to 500hz without doing dodgy stuff like installing unsigned drivers and whatnot? if not, then is there any 570 that will have special port like fatal1ty one? thank -
Hi. I'm looking to upgrade my machine with the new 3900X and currently looking for a suitable motherboard to pair with it. Requirements: Must be ATX. Must have Wi-Fi built-in. Price must be reasonable. Nice-to-haves: RGB lighting. Internal header for front panel USB C.

Is it worth paying the $90 premium for the Tiachi? Or will the MSI do just fine? I can’t seem to find robust coverage on the MSI board. The Tiachi seems to generally have favorable reviews with marks against it for power consumption and fan noise? Again, can’t really find anything on the MSI. What say you ?

(I’m new to the forums, so apologies if this isn’t where it should be) I’ve recently purchased the 570x, worked perfectly for the first 2 days but I’ve swapped some of my hard drives around and I fear that I’ve knocked one of the front fans lighting connectors loose. As you can see in the attached image, it’s only the bottom fans RGB lighting that’s not working, the others are working as they should. Also note that the fan is spinning, it’s just not illuminated. I’ve handled everything delicately, so I doubt that it’s straight-up broken. At a glance, everything appears to be connected as it should be, which is why I’ve decided to post this here before I go digging around inside the case. Is this a simple fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I currently have a built pc I want to take all my parts from my current corsair 570x into a fractal Meshify C. Now I think everything should be fine but I wanted a few extra more experienced eyes on it to make sure its all going to fit. Here is my parts list with everything I have currently in the 570x https://pcpartpicker.com/user/blue2kid3/saved/#view=PPrWD3 Thank you all in advance

My next project will be the upcoming Resident Evil 2 Remake video game. I want to thank Asus for helping Sponsor this build. Still working out some final designs and perhaps some other sponsors. I'm still waiting for parts to come in for this build so I can get started with the modding of the case.

Hi, I just started building my new gaming rig and as I came to the part where I unbox my new nzxt kraken x62 I realized that the way I installed it wasn't very smart of me. After cable managing and installing the rest i realized that i can't install the dust filter/glass when the radiator is mounted at the top So before I start experimenting around I thought I better ask this forum first. My idea was to remove 2 of the 3 RGB fans at the front and mount them on the radiator and mount the radiator at the front without giving up the RGB aesthetic. and mount the "non-rgb" fans that were mounted on the radiator on the top. Would that work?
