I recently upgraded from my Asus GTX 1050 2gb to a Gigabyte RX 590 8gb. Seeing as I no longer needed my old card, I gave it to a close friend of mine who still runs older hardware (an i3 and 8gb DDR3 RAM if I remember correctly) The problem is that he already has an RX 560 6gb and we want to know if it's at all possible to run them in tandem with each other. Could that work with modified drivers? Or would he be better off sticking with just one card? If that's the case, which should he go with?

I'll take any of the following low-profile and low-power (as in, does not require 6-pin power) cards. GTX 1650 GTX 1050 ti GTX 1050 GTX 950 RX 560/560X (if it is compatible, which I'm not sure of)

Hey I have a 2GB Asus GTX 560TI GPU. I was playing Battle Field One and it suddenly stopped, went to the desktop and I had lines going across my screen. Things wouldn't load up properly etc... I obviously restarted the computer and it was doing it in the BIOS and Windows so... my GPU is dying. I'm asking this because I have no money and I'm a student. (I'm in the process of looking for jobs don't worry). I've tried de assembling the GPU and using a hairdryer at max heat on the components as I've seen videos online saying if you heat it up, the metal should melt and that... etc... don't know much about that stuff but I understand how it works. I'm not willing to put it in the oven as thats where food goes and that... I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me! Thanks.

So i am looking for new radiators, im looking at these two. Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 560mm - 80mm thick - 10 FPI (i think) EK-CoolStream CE 560 - 45mm thick - 16 FPI Price difference is around 15 euros, the EK would be the "cheap lol option" I need two of either one, they will be paired with 4 x 140mm Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC- IP67 -2000 PWM each. in push. They are gonna cool an i7 6700K and a GTX1080FTW What kind of performance difference can i expect? What would you go for and why? Is there other brands of 560 radiators i should be looking at?

http://deliddedtech.com/2017/06/27/techpowerup-advertorial-by-amd-draws-controversy/ I guess you gotta be careful with where you get your reviews. Sometimes sponsored content is poorly marked and it can be difficult to notice. I'm a big fan of AMD, but I'm not sure if I agree with the way this sponsored article was represented. It shouldn't have been in a reviews section, and it should've been marked more clearly.

I've been closely watching Ethereum prices this week and, while the trend continues, the prices have gone significantly lower this morning, reaching a 24h low of 136.55 dollars. Expect to see more stock soon, as well as better priced ebay listings pretty soon as more people start getting rid of their rigs. You can also watch Ethereum prices in this website: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/ethereum I can finally buy a fucking GPU Edit: RIP the dream

Hello, this last week I bought a new graphics card, a RX-560 with 4gb. My PC has 8gb DDR3 RAM and a A10 7870k processor that comes with a R7 integrated graphics. The theme is that I bought the 560 to improve my experience, but something really weird happened. After I done everything, I started my gta v, the first time, it was at like 60 fps with high graphics, great. The second time I open it, it was like 20, when I low the graphics... IT'S THE SAME, so I reached the conclusion that something weird was happening to my videocard, taking in account that my previous integrated video card ran gta v at 30 fps more or less. Now sometimes I play it at 60 or 20 fps, no idea at all. Then, I tried with Minecraft... 30 FPS, 30, no shaders and same results with high and low graphics. I even checked my core and gpu temperature, I saw that my CPU was at 80°C that is pretty hot, but after a search, I saw that even if my processor or graphics card are hot, it shouldn't affect the performance. Other thing that I thought could be a bottleneck, but, do you think that my processor could be making bottleneck to my GPU in MINECRAFT??? Today I woke up and new problem, for some reason, my PC now starts, but my screen doesn't even show anything now.. To conclude, I bought a graphics card to play games like gta v at a reasonable speed and now Minecraft runs at 30 fps with no apparent reason, any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

I am taking inspiration from this video: I have an 870m Nvidia graphics card from a laptop that died. I was considering selling it, but now I wonder if there is an adapter that would allow me to connect it to a PCIe slot on my desktop. I know what you might ask me, "But how would you cool it" No worries I have a 3d printer and building a custom enclosure would not be a problem. I am all for reusing old hardware to give it a new life. However, would it work? Am I better off selling the GPU and get another gtx560 with SLI? Or, use the 870m as an external GPU in my desktop? 870M ---->>>Pcie

Hi everyone, I'm planning to buy a GPU very soon (probably next week) and I've been thinking about it without coming to a conclusion. So I have three options: 1) GTX 1050 for €115 ($135); 2) RX 560 4GB for €115 ($135); 3) RX 560 2GB for €100 ($115). I'm planning to use it mainly to play old games (and maybe some new titles too, but probably no DX12) on 1280 x 1024 resolution, so I thought that 4GB might be OP. So this is the question: is worth it spending €15+ for a GTX 1050 or should I stick with a RX 560? Thanks in advance

Hello guys, This is my first post here so take it easy on me. Tl;dr I have an RX560 and I'm looking for an upgrade in the near future. While I could obviously sell it, and try to go for an RX 570/580, in the 4GB VRAM variants, it'd be a lot easier to simply get another one and put in in crossfire. I know the support of games is sometimes crap, and the scaling is sometimes even worse, but even so, in most titles, there's at least a 40% performance increase, sometimes even coming close to 100%. This guy from Tech of Tomorrow also made a video showcasing its capabilities, and it doesn't look half bad: Looking forward for your feedback, and thanks in advance. LE: Yes, I'm aware these are RX460s; also, benchmarks start at 2:15

Hello,Recently my 560 died for the 2nd time (did not bother to cook it again) and got a hold of a 760.On 560 I could easily run CS:GO on 80+ fps, now it averages from 35-50.My set-up:GA-MA770-UD3 (rev 1.0) - did update BIOS from default once to be able to run a Phenom II X4 CPU;Phenom II x4 955 @3.7 GHz;Chieftec 500W/550W.Here are PSU connections I had/have connected.1) 560 - 2 standard 6pins;2) 760 - 1 standard 6pin, 1 molex adapter to 8pin.What have I tried:1) Uninstalling/Installing newest drivers2) Setting-up nvidia 3d settings to high performance/single display performance etc. What I'm thinking of trying:1) MSI Afterburner/GPUZ to see the load (note: the gpu's temp is very low, from 23-36 degrees)2) Checking BIOS settings/updating BIOSMaybe someone has suggestions or has faced a similar situation.

Recently uncovered my old PC from the dust, and I'll be adding more RAM to it first off. The machine has Premiere 5.5 but I own the license for CC so I will be updating it, but not sure if my GPU will run it. Any ideas?

I have a Geforce GTX 970 card and I was wondering if I could use my old Geforce GTX 560 TI as a physx card or just let the 970 do both. Because the 970 is a gen 3.0 and the 560 TI is a gen 2.0. Will the performance drop if I put a gen 2.0 with a gen 3.0. Don't know if I should give the rest of my specs or not will that effect any change in this case.

The graphics card has started artifacting and freezing (pretty much) every time I play a game: the temps never go above even 60 before it starts to artifact and eventually my PC freezes. I thought it was the memory cores not getting enough heat dissipation so I took apart the GPU, applied new thermal paste (obviously after wiping the old thermal paste off) and straightened the thermal tape over the little cores. No avail Is my GPU dying, is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks.

Hey everyone So in a few days my Girlfriend will be upgrading her PC , she will be swapping the CPU , PSU , and adding a gtx660 she got for $100 I told her it was a good idea to update the Bios before we start messing with CPU's , but i can only find one Bios update and i dont know if it is the right one for her LGA 775 ,G43 chipset (?) mobo Link for bios update : http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=GMYFW&fileId=2731098888&osCode=W764&productCode=inspiron-560&languageCode=EN&categoryId=BI Atm she has a dual core E5700 @3ghz , she is swapping in a Q6600 with an EVGA 500w PSU and a EVGA GTX660 SC Motherbaord model : g43t-dm1 , v:a00 So do you guys think that is the right bios for her motherboard ? thanks in advance any questions please ask

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting one of the the three headphones mentioned in the title. I currently own a Hifiman HE-500 paired up with an Objective2 and ODAC combo. While I love my HE-500, I'm still curious to know how these headphones sound, especially the LCD-2 in particular. I plan on selling off my HE-500 and buying one of these headphones. I listen to a wide range of music genres but the common ones are orchestral, slow-rock, rock and instrumental music. My two favorite bands are GN'R and Linkin Park so I do listen to a lot of music from them. I like a neutral or warm sound signature. My other concern is clarity and detail in the mids and the bass. How do these headphones compare in terms of clarity and detail, sound signature, sound stage and build quality? Comfort is not a major concern for me as I do not have any comfort issues with my HE-500 (or maybe my M50x made me immune to the HE-500's discomfort). I'm currently leaning toward the LCD-2 based on the reviews I've read but the HE-560 has a significantly lower price. I heard that the HD 800 is very detailed, which I like but is a little too bright for many people. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

When playing Heavy games like metro last light my temps on one of them 560's get to around 90C and even higher.. after a few hours gameplay in that game its at like 95C having it on Vsynch helped a bit with the temps but not really a whole lot, i also had this "problem" in farcry 3 blood dragon reaching about 90C after 15m. the highest i have seen it go to in metro last light is 99C and when it goes to that i tab out of the game to let it cool down a bit, i do have my fans on my 2x 560 on full speed using MSI afterburner. i dont really like that its going that high so im asking if anyone got an idea to lower that temperatur, my 2nd gtx 560 hits around 10C lower than the other one. i have posted a picture of my rig below so you can check where i might be able to set a fan up or something like that.. My specs: I7 2600k 4.2Ghz 2x GTX 560 in SLI ( i believe the cooler is from Innon ) Cooler Master Silent Pro M 850W Corsair Vengeance 16GB 1866Mhz MSI PG7A-GD65 WD Green 5400RPM 1.5TB Samsung 840 Pro 256GB Corsair H80I *extra info - the fan infront is a 200mm sucking air into the system and then getting out in the back by using the 2 Fans on the rad. Stuff that i have laying around that might help -1x 120mm fan,1x maybe 80mm not sure and 1 that is even smaller than that and probably useless, also got some old heatsinks from diffrent computers but i doubt i could use them anyways. i do have some money to buy stuff if that is needed for something..... ( i dont bloody know ) Oh and totaly off topic is it allowed to make a "advertisement post" about a minecraft server? telling about what it haves and what not? would be stupid to make one if its not allowed :P

I know that you can run the same card from different manufacturers in SLI. However, I have an EVGA 560 Ti with 1GB and I want to get one with 2GB of RAM. I know that you are limited to V-RAM from only one card, but if I make the 2GB card the one that has the actual connection, will it mean that my I will have access to a 2GB frame-buffer, or would I be limited to 1GB?

hey guys just had a weird issue with my pc, i just started the new payday 2 game after downloading it and within ten minutes my screen flashed and then my graphics card was stuck at 405mhz and 0.917volts. which my standard is 940mhz at 1.18volts then i decided to restart to try and resolve my issue which was the presented with a plan blue screen with no writing on and crashed. i then pulled my card from the rig and tried on board all is fine. the weird thing is it blue screens once its fully loaded up and loaded up start-up items. im currently in the process of re-installing windows to see if i accidentally clicked the clock speed beyond 950mhz which is when it starts crashing my system. any ideas would be great, i have sent my problem to asus to see if i get a reply but probably not. system spec: sabertooth z77 i7 3770k 8gb corsqir veangance 1866 samsung 830 ssd 128gb os installed gtx 560 asus direct cuii oc edition corsair cx600 if it is the end of my graphics card looks like i have an excuse to upgrade to the 760 earlier than planned.

Hi guys, Im really new to watercooling, so forgive my mistakes... I was wondering which is the best between those sizes... Ive seen ekwb and xs-pc sites, but really didnt know, because 480 rads are made also 50-60mm thick, and 560 only 35... There is much difference? (560 is bigger, but the overall volume of 480 60mm thick is pratically double...) With Noctua's 2000 PWM fans, is better to go with high fins density or low? If i make the fans stay quiet the low density will perform better, but what if i raise the RPMs? I have all the space i want, so if u guys know a rad that is really worth buying, just say...
