I know the maximum GPU length is 430mm but thats only for the first GPU and there is a HDD rack that can cause a problem when I install the second 1070.

Hey guys, Im interested in painting my old case to be able to re-sell it to someone else. (As I left one big nasty scratch on it with the wheels of my office chair.) There's a front plate glued to the mesh and I was wondering if I could just spray the mesh as well, as it is quite a open mesh. (Roughly 1mm holes) So I have two questions; 1) Can I just paint the mesh with the front panel? 2) How do I clean the whole thing the best? (Dust and other nasty stuff in it.) Pictures for reference:

Hey guys, I would like to hear your opinion on the above mentioned cases. Yet, I have not seen any Sharkoon cases and do not know the build quality. (You can also recommend me another case if you have some recommendation around 110$) Thank you in advance

Hey LTT, I'm looking to do a custom loop from EKWB for my GTX 1080 founders edition. I'm thinking of a very small pump/res combo and a 140mm rad. P.S. I put this in Planning cause it's planning.... right? Here's what i've thought of so far: That black "box" at the bottom right of the case is about the size of a 140MM rad (extend it sideways to the screw holes) plus maybe another 10mm for a fan. I can put the rad there and get a mini pump/res combo and put it between the rad and the PSU so it would all be very compact (albeit probably a mess of tubes also) or use 90 degree fittings on the radiator pointing towards the PSU, and weld/duct tape/hot glue a small flat piece of metal an inch or two above the rad to place the pump on (and if i need more space i can cut the bottom out of the HDD bay and the bottom slot or two if need be) and have a slightly more spread out mess of cables if that makes sense. OR I could mount the radiator to the bottom of the front two fan positions with the inlet/outlet at the top and put the pump/res combo between that and the PSU. If the third, part of me wants to get a reservoir that would fit in the empty two 3.5" bays, like a short wide cylinder. Thanks! I'm probably forgetting something so if it doesn't make sense just say so

Hello everyone! I am planning on building my first pc (after the death of my old laptop). I want to know if I am doing any mistakes or if something could be improved (1400€ Budget) I will build this rig around June-July so I don't know if I should wait for Pascal GPUs or not. Here's the build: Case: Corsair Carbide 450D CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k CPU cooler: Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 (Turned 90° so the writing is normal and fan toward the top as exhaust, remove the side fan for GPU clearance) Mobo: Asus Z97-Pro (Wi-Fi ac) Memory: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 2 x 4 Go 1600 MHz GPU: Asus GTX 970 Strix OC Storage: Samsung SSD 850 pro 128 Go (owned) and scavenge the 500 Go HDD of my dead laptop at first Power Supply: Corsair RMx 750W (possible SLI?) Fans: Dual Pack Corsair AF140 Quiet Edition (front intake) + Single AF120 Quiet Edition (rear intake) I also intend to make this build semi-passive for silence (all fans at 0 rpm if the computer is not under load). I will not overclock in the first time. Sorry for my English, it is not my native language.

I am in the process of picking the components for a new build and I am struggling to choose between two different cases: Phanteks Enthoo Pro and Corsair Obsidian 450D. I do not need a crazy set-up but to give you an indication of the other components I have picked out, take a look at this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/DWVwxr Both of these cases are very good in my opinion but I am keen to know which one the community thinks is better! Cheers!

Hiyoo, I'm planing on making a pc on part picker and because the Asus x99-e ws is a ssi ceb or something it won't fit in a 450D so i tried it in a 900D and that's not compatible either but that case is HUGE! If it will fit will there be any room for a Kraken?? Thanks, Jordan

Hi everyone, I'm planning to build a case for myself. I have spend lots of time watching many reviews, videos  I'm a first-year student and planning to be a mobile app developer. I play game sometime b.cus I don't have much time My 2 fav games are Lol and Csgo. And here's it: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($241.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: MSI H97 GAMING 3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($105.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($64.78 @ OutletPC) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($99.98 @ OutletPC) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($52.75 @ OutletPC) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 290X 4GB Tri-X Video Card ($319.99 @ Newegg) Case: Corsair 450D ATX Mid Tower Case ($97.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: SeaSonic 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($85.99 @ SuperBiiz) Monitor: Dell P2314H 60Hz 23.0" Monitor ($169.99 @ Best Buy) Keyboard: Filco Majestouch-2 Wired Standard Keyboard Mouse: Razer DeathAdder 2013 Wired Optical Mouse ($62.98 @ Amazon) Total: $1302.43 Are there any components issues? Im torn on whether to get this case or not, because i don't know what radiators with fans will fit in the top. Examples, like the kraken x41 or corsair h100i gt and stuff like that.

So this is my new personal build (only ordered the case so far) and I wanted to see what you guys think! I didn't want a super beefy graphics card and the one I picked will play everything I want it to and has a nice, clean look! CPU: Intel Core i7 Quad Core 4790k ($334.99) MOBO: Asus Z97 Pro Gamer ($139.99) Ram: 16gb (2x8) Kingston HyperX Fury White 1866 ($105.99) PSU: Corsair RM650 ($106.24) GPU: EVGA GTX 960 2gb SSC ($207.85) Case: Corsair 450D ($119.99) Storage: 1x 1TB Western Digital Black HDD ($70.31) I think this'd look pretty sick with some white aftermarket cables and LED lighting. Already have some white Corsair AF 140s with white LED's for my front intake! Anyways, hope you guys like the build, I think it'll be pretty cool once I have it all bought and built! Thanks for giving it a look!

Hey guys! This is what I want to go with, but I'm wondering how many cable combs you would recommend? Looks like at least one of the 4, 6, 8, and 24 slot combs to me. http://www.performance-pcs.com/e22-cable-comb-4-24-slots-black.html Also what is the best thermal compound? The one I selected I just figured that's what many people get. I want to overclock so is there something that would transfer heat a little bit better or is Arctic the best? Also what is the best fan placements in the 450D? I figured one on the top, two at the front (will switch to AF140's), and one at the back? I have a Corsair 450D, and I was worried about my optical drive making my case look ugly. After some Googling, I found stealth drives. There aren't really any good tutorials, can anyone give tips on making one? Thanks in advance.

This is my first thread at LTT forums after a lot of forum stalking. Be gentle. So this is my dilemma. A friend has a free Powermac case I could have but would require extensive modding to fit an upgradable pc. Or I could buy a Corsair 450D which I like for the filtered intakes and aesthetic. I'm interested in modding no matter the case I choose, but I'm not sure if Im ready for the work it seems would be required to get a pleasing pc case out of a powermac. Does anyone have experience in modding a G5? And if so, would you say it is worth it? All opinions welcome and thank you!

Hi guys. I don't know how to remove the dust filter from the front panel of my Corsair 450D. I think it is glued rather than a magnetic filter like on the top and bottom? How do I clean it?? Is there anyway to remove it? Thanks

Hello! I recently changed my case to a Corsair Obsidian 450D and a Cooler Master G650M PSU. Everything starts up fine, but some seconds later the rear and front bottom fan stops spinning, a couple of seconds later they start up again and keeps staying so. It might not be a major problem, but I find quite annoying. Any ideas of what is causing this and how to fix it?

Planning to buy a case in the next 2 weeks. I currently have my eye on the Corsair 750D because of it's space, amount of 3.5/2.5 drives you can put in the case, 5.25 drive bays, cable management space and amount of fan mounts for airflow. I'm also considering the 450D, H440(horrible airflow though), C70, or Noctius 450(basically H440 without silent stuff). I don't like the Phanteks Enthoo Pro so i'm not considering that case at all.

Cant seem to get enough cold air to my GPU's. I have 2x 140mm @ the front and 1x 120mm on the bottom as intakes. Then 2x 140mm @ the top going though a H110 and 1x 120mm at the back all as exhaust. I had everything out of the case for test and found putting a 120mm fan behind the GPU's (In sort of a front of case position) the GPU 1 would run around 72C @ 50% fan speed. Now all i can get in the case on GPU 1 is shown in the screen shot. 75 @ 62% fan speed. Im using Corsair AF fans cos a really like the lighting i provides but im not sure on there performance. Everything is in a 450D (No alternative so dont suggest and other cases) I just switched to a 450D and Sabertooth z97 for better spacing between GPU's since i was using a Grpyon z87 and 350D. Compared to that everything is better. In the 350D GPU 1 would be 80C @ 75-80 % fan speed which is very noisy. Should i be seeing better than this ^ Also after around 10mins of idle the both GPUs settle around 40C @ 0% fan speed and overall pretty quiet.

I have a 350D with 2 STRIX 970's and its a bit cramped. The top card gets quite noisy and hot. I tested my cards in my brothers C70 and the temps and noise were much better as there was a gap between the cards. So ive been looking around for an alternative case. I was looking at the Air 540 but im not sure ill like the width. So now im turning towards the 450D. Being the same style as the 350D but just big enough to fit a full ATX mobo + all my stuff from my current system. Is this a viable choice, will the 450D perform similar to the C70? Also does the 450D have the same 2.5" drive mounting solution?

Im planning to get an ATX board, ive decided to go with a Corsair 450D case. Like with the Maximus V Extreme here http://www.corsair.com/en/~/media/21E091137AB94B5DAF52A69FE273B0A4.ashx?w=750 You can mount the cards with 2 slots between them therefore in my mind better for air flow to each of the cards. Just wondering if there is other boards that have the same spacing but cheaper. Ideally under £200 and Asus. Otherwise id go for the Z97 Sabretooth.

Hi , Im about to buy myself a new case to remplace my noisy HAF 912. Wich one of this combinaison do you recommand ? Nzxt H440 & Noctua NHD-15 (air cooler) or Corsair 450D & Corsair H110 (water cooler). I will overclock the Cpu with the asus 5 way optimisation software and run 2 asus gtx 970 strix in my next build. ps : sorry for the grammar i dont use my english often .

See the title. Yeah. All these cases are aesthetically beautiful in their own way and I love each one equally (from MANY hours of reviews and overviews watched). They question is Which one to buy??? My build consists of an atx motherboard with a 4670k and 8GB of ram. I have a GTX 590 and I plan on getting a 280/240mm AIO liquid cooler for my cpu. My current case is a cheap Thermaltake one that does the job but nothing more. I like Silence but I'm not a freak over it so all of these cases are quiet enough as they have low noise fans included. If anybody has built in/owned any of these cases and is able to shed some light on which one is best in their opinion that would be great. Peace.
