My PC specs is Ryzen 3 3200g with Asrock A320M-hdv r4.0, 16 GB 3200mhz RAM but i set it to 2800 because whenever i shutdown the PC it will turn back into 2400 Sometimes when i play Genshin the pc will suddenly frame drop and freezing seconds after, you can't do anything like press windows, go to task manager, or restart graphics by using shortcut ctrl+shift+win+b. After restarting it my GPU driver is gone and i need to instal a new driver And it seems there's other people on other forum that has the same problem with me but still no info how to fix it It happen to me since i bought my pc in September and still happening randomly This problem has been happen to me for months without knowing how to do My speculation to fix this is other buy a new motherboard(because the other people that has same problem has the same motherboard) or buy a new GPU Is there anyway to fix it?

I have a 3200G and 1650 Super build(did cheap APU build, then bought used GPU barely months before the crypto-nation attacked) Currently I have the stock cooler and no case fans other than the 120 exhaust which came with the case. I'm buying a Corsair 120mm PRO XT AIO. It comes with a ML120(2400 RPM 75CFM). It will be installed in the only logical place for a 120mm rad, the exhaust next to the I/O. I'm planning to get 2x ML140(1600 RPM 97 CFM) for intake and adding another ML140 as top exhaust. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi, more than a month ago I built my first desktop with a very limited budget, the components that I bought were: -Ryzen 3 3200G -ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0 (BIOS Ver. 3.70) -Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 Mhz (2x8gb) (It is running at 2933 with XMP Profile activated because that is the highest frequency it supports according to the manufacturer) -Cooler Master Elite V3 500W (it came with the case) Once the build was finished, I installed every updated driver and it worked perfectly but after a couple of weeks it started to have an issue: After playing any game for a not very long time, the screen turned off as if the pc had turned off, but the pc was still on so i had to restart with the front panel button every time this happened. I ''solved'' this error by installing the AMD all in one with VGA driver from the ASRock website (I use a VGA monitor), but now I have the same issue but in a different way: Every time i'm playing any game the screen freezes after some time but the menu music stills playing normally (this never happens in the middle of a game, only in the menus) and I have to restart from the front pannel again and again. I don't know if this is because of the PSU, the motherboard, the drivers, the bios, but I have tried every solution that I found in forums but none of them have worked yet. please help me. Sorry if there are gramatical errors, I don't speak english fluently

2400g vs 3200g which will be better for adobe premiere pro and after effects both editing and rendering, does hyperthreading worth it over newer zen + architecture ! 2400g priced arround 134 dollar in my country

Hello, I'm building a new PC that's going to be oriented for school work and I'm going to be using the motherboard wifi and not an ethernet cable. Once I've downloaded Windows 10 Home, what drivers do I need to download? Also do I need to download both the motherboard and cpu drivers because I'm using a cpu with integrated graphics? If you could please link the site and state the specific drivers that would be greatly appreciated, Thanks. PC Specs: Motherboard: B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.0) The ITX motherboard CPU: Ryzen 3 3200g Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz Storage: Silicon Power 512GB NVMe M.2 PSU: Corsair CX Series 450 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Modular Power Supply Case: NZXT H210

Greetings! I'm in the process of building PC for work with office stuff. I confronted with weird behavior, looking forward for advises. System specification: new Gigabyte GA-A320M-H (rev. 1.1) - serial number starts with SN2020, as far as I know it means it have been manufactured 20th week of year 20; new Ryzen 3 3200g; new HyperX HX426C16FB3K2/16 - is a kit of two 1G x 64-bit (8GB) DDR4-2666 CL16 SDRAM; used PSU Thermaltake 850W P/N:W0131 - overkill for such system but it were gathering dust on a shelf, no reason to buy another; none drives connected. The problem: No signal to a monitor! Tried both outputs from motherboard DVI-D and HDMI to different monitors. Monitors and cables are fine for sure. What I tried: I add to the system 1080 TI from my gaming PC. I connect DVI-D to the video card. HDMI still connected from motherboard to another monitor. I boot up the system. It launches as it supposed to be. Getting signal to a monitor through DVI-D. I check BIOS version. It is F50. I change setting "Initial Display Output" from "Auto" to "IGD Video". I do "Save $ Exit". System restarts as it supposed to be. Getting signal to a monitor through HDMI from motherboard connection. Turn of the system and disconnect the discrete video card. On system boot up there is no more signal to a monitor through HDMI from motherboard connection. As Gigabyte assure, the motherboard supports the CPU with BIOS version F40 or higher. Should be ok with current F50. I don't get it, why it works only with discrete video card connected? I made a video showing the issue: I tried it with different monitor with motherboard HDMI connection (in video I use DVI-D) - same behavior. I tried it with different discrete video card (GTX 460) - same behavior.

Hello. I have a Ryzen 3 3200G and I have overclocked it to 4 GHz all core @ 1.5V, but in loooong Cinebench R20 tests (32,400 secs, actually), intensive gaming in titles such as Minecraft, Apex Legends, Team Fortress 2, and CS:GO and the temps never reach above 70°C. Yet if I max the voltage in Ryzen Master and set to 4.1 GHz, it crashes almost immediately. This is my first overclockable CPU and I was wondering if I got a Cooler Master Hyper 212X Dual with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste if I would get any higher overclocks. I would upgrade to Zen 3 but I don't have the money or the right motherboard... yet. (AsRock B450m Steel Legend) So if anyone knows if that's how that works or if I have reached the full potential of my CPU? Thanks!

Budget (including currency): $422.23 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: HTPC, maybe light gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I built my first system last summer. I definitely over did it, installing amongst other things an 9900K cpu. I was wondering what the least expensive PC I could build would be. I would like an HTPC for my bedroom and figured it hardly needs to be a powerhouse. I was seriously looking at an Athlon 3000G, but then I figured a Ryzen 3 3200G for $37 more just made more sense. When I was deciding what motherboard to go with last year, I was advised here not to go for integrated wifi because it was significantly cheaper to just add a wireless card. That's what I did, but there was one issue. The board I went with only had 1 USB 2.0 header, but the wireless card wanted to be connected to it as did the front panel. As a result, I had to add an internal USB hub. I saw some AMD boards for around $50. But this time I went with the integrated wifi buying the Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI Micro ATX for $89.99. I went with T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory for $59.99, and a Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2 SSD. I feel pretty good about them. But I am worried about the Rosewill FBM-X2 MicroATX Mini Tower Case with an included 400W PSU for $64.99. I am concerned about PSU, but I did really like the case. However, I couldn't find the case for sale anywhere by itself, only with the PSU. So I decided to chance it. With tax and shipping it was $422.23. My CPU and SSD were delivered a little while ago and the rest should be here by Friday. I'll report back after it's assembled. I will still need Windows 10. The cost of a Windows license is the reason it is often more economical to buy a pre-built. Last year I spent $119 for a license from MS. I'd rather not spend quite so much if I can help it. Are there any downsides to buying a license key from ebay? Other than the risk to my immortal soul? Funny story about ebay. I haven't bought anything from there in quite a long time. I was looking at the site the other day and was logged in by my google account. But then I get a message that my account was suspended "for questionable activity" in 2009. I emailed there customer service. Turns out the account with my gmail was opened in 2009, but suspended because registration was never completed. But I never opened it. I've had gmail for over 20 years, but when I last used ebay, I had a CompuServe email (I obviously no longer have access to). Someone must have tried to create an account, but accidentally used my email address. Ebay deleted the suspended account, so I am free to create a new one.

Hello. I have a really stupid question which will make you lough for sure A month ago, my ryzen 7 3700x died because of it's stock cooler (it worked for 6days from brand new condition) , atleast the pc repair shop told me that. They sad: "It's the CPU that is faulty. I have a very strong suspicion that it is the poor quality of the heatsink surface that has caused the CPU to die. The heatpipes do not sit flush with the surface - leaving gaps. This leaves local hotspots on the CPU which cause permanent damage through overheating. " Luckily i got a new 3700x from rma with a new stock cooler aswell. Meanwhile i bought ryzen 3 3200g and im still using it for about a month with its stock cooler. I want to replace it with 3700x but i have a paranoia that it can die once again, im really afraid placing it with its cooler. Maybe can i use 3200g cooler with 3700x? Or should i invest more money and buy a water cooling system like h100 platinum to be safe? Im not going to overclock it or smth, just daily use and gaming. Thank you.

So... I'm on the process of finishing my first build and... I have issues. It's not a gaming rig, it's for a modest server that I will be monitoring from a dashboard on my laptop. That's why I'm not spending big on a good screen. Components - MSI B450M-A Pro Max - AMD Ryzen 3200G w/ Wraith cooler - Crucial 8GB RAM 2666Mhz - SSD Crucial MX500 M.2 - A shitty Tacens case - An old Benq monitor that only has VGA and DVI-D - Cheap usb mouse and keyboard After discovering that the 3200G APU is not compatible with VGA and DVI-D i bought a VGA-HDMI adapter to see if I could get to see the screen... and... I have only managed to see the screen a few times for a short period of time. The motherboard starter screen has appeared briefly a couple times. I've seen the BIOS once for about 30s and it seemed that all hardware was recognised and running properly but then the screen disappeared. I also had a Debian distribution on a USB drive and saw the boot screen once and managed to start the booting process but at around 30s the screen went black again. Is it possible that it is anything other than the monitor? I really don't want to spend money on a monitor that I will use only a couple times a year.

Hi all, this time around I'm helping a friend building a computer to update his old system. and since I am not skilled on the lower end of the components I have some questions. but first: Budget: 300-350€ (400max if amazon is out of stock and prices are inflated) Country: Italy (Amazon .it mainly) Scope: Office use, light retro gaming (pre 2010) PCPartPicker Part List: https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/gZFzRk CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor (€97.48 @ Amazon Italia) CPU cooler: *No idea, must consider if PBO will be enabled or not. not sure how 3200g behaves in terms of performance + stock cooler* Motherboard: ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (€71.17 @ Amazon Italia) GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7770 GHz (0€ owned) not needed? Memory: Crucial Ballistix 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (€38.99 @ Amazon Italia) PSU: Corsair VS550 (51€ @Amazon italia) SSD and HDD already owned from the previous build. Case: Thermaltake Versa H15 MicroATX Mid Tower Case (€54.19 @ Amazon Italia) Total: €310 Given the price range I think an IGPU is the best pick, the HD7770 would be a bottleneck otherwise (correct me if I'm wrong) he does not want to Overclock but is it worth it go from a B450 to a x370? the difference in price seems around 10€ and it's better to have an higher quality Motherboard. + about the Overclocking. can I enable the XMP profile of the RAM without enabling PBO on the CPU? I don't know if the 3200g acts like the 3600+ family on PBO (high temp spike and noise even on idle) I can go with something cheaper for the RAM if I don't have to use the XMP profile the PSU is on the "Tier E - Potentially dangeorus" on Ambient temp over 30°C what does that mean? what's a good price for a decent PSU that's not a timebomb? the Case he's pretty happy about it and I don't think it matter much

So is there any chance that my old GEFORCE 610 would work with my Ryzen 3200g and B450 Tomahawk?? And if so then will I only get graphics power from the GPU only or I'll get graphics from the APU and GPU at the same time? And is it possible to edit videos with the above mentioned system in Premier pro?

Hey guys, last weekend I build a budget rig for myself sporting an AMD Ryzen 3200G with box wraith stealth cooler thingy AsRock B450M-HDV Motherboard (a single) 8GB Crucial DDR4-3200 RAM Stick (want to upgrade later with a second) no GPU This is my first AMD build in well over a century (kinda sad but I'm happy AMD is back) so my questions appear very noob-ish. I finished the build and booted it and right away I had green snow all over the screen. However this disappears as soon as anything happens, either windows booting up or me entering the bios. I have not yet installed some games to try but temperature was bellow 50°C so should be good. When isntalling the driver package there was an error and the whole screen turned blurry and pink (like an old vga cable that's not plugged in correctly) but that was gone after a reboot and then the driver installer finished without an issue. BIOS I checked and no image version was found, but I'll have to check again today as this left me a bit confused. I downloaded the latest from the asrock site but "none found" seems wrong. anyhow, I'll update on that one. What could this be? Unlucky pick in CPU (APU) or did I miss something?

I wanted to build a small and cheap server, so I went with a Ryzen 3200g and a Deskmini (barebones PC without CPU and RAM) from Asrock. I used a salvaged SSD from a previous build that had Windows 10, but since I wanted to dual boot Ubuntu and Windows, I completely formatted the drive. Before the format, I was able to run the Windows 10 on that SSD fine (and even on the deskmini as I forgot to go into BIOS and change boot order), and did not know there would be problems. When I installed Ubuntu and Windows, everything seemed to run fine on their respective first boots. Starting on the second boot, I was not able get past grub on Ubuntu (frozen purple screen), and was not able to get into Windows (frozen black screen). Now, I can't even get live-USBs to work for both Ubuntu or Windows; the former gets stuck at grub and the latter doesn't boot at all (black screen). I can't seem to find anything wrong with my PC. I've reset BIOS, cleared CMOS, and reformatted my hard drive a bunch of times. At the grub menu, nomodeset doesn't help with the black screen issue. As of now, I have reformatted my hard drive and all of the space inside is unallocated. At this point, I would be happy with booting into just one of the aformentioned OSes, but as of now I am not able to reinstall them. I feel like this might be a graphics issue, but I am able to get into BIOS, the grub screen, and the Windows Recovery Screen (which redirected back to itself if I clicked anything) before I reformatted my hard drive. Also in the meantime, I have tried replacing my Deskmini, but the same stuff still happens. Did my windows/ubuntu installation destroy my computer? Is there something wrong with my APU or is the RAM broken? Thanks! TL;DR: 3200g with barebones cannot boot into live USBs for both Ubuntu (can get into grub but no more after that even with nomodeset) or Windows (blue logo with CSM enabled). No problem with barebones computer as I have replaced it. Could be RAM or CPU related.

So right now I’m working on a htpc / mindcraft server. I just got the case an inwin Choppn and I’m torn on cpu I have a guy I can buy a new 3400g he can’t return to new egg for 100$ But it’s 40 mins away. or at my work I can get a 3200g for 90$ Or a 2400g for 120 but I get 30 of a motherboard. What do you guys think should I just pay 100$ or 130 for a 3400g new or is the 3200g good enough to do what I need and be happy. I’m not looking to game on this system maybe sims and light games like that but I dint expect a lot from it but if it can do more even better. Thanks guys

is 1650 super good with the 3200g for 1080p/900p gaming and is 1650 super good enough for lite video editing (1080p 60fps) in premier pro 2015.5? i mean i was thinking to get the rx580 but the 1650 super came out and it's better for video editing in premier pro, but is it really an good gpu to use for light editing and does it have cuda cores for gpu acceleration in premier pro? and should i get the 2200G or 1300 instead and save some money ?? which will be a better option?

As the title says, i recently got my first pc build and opted for the 3200g as it was on sale for $99. (from Australia where normal retail is $139) and i immediately started to play around with OC. heres the specs; 3200g (Stock cooler) MSI B450m PRO-M2 MAX Corsair LPX 2x8gb 3200Mhz Corsair VS450 PSU after a few hours of tweaking and benchmarking i was able to get it to 4Ghz @1.37v. left the ram at 3200Mhz, but i down clocked to 3.9 @1.35v because i crashed last night and i rather have a stable cpu. my problem lies at the igpu OC. i was able to get it to 1600Mhz @1.3v, but for some reason when i check with GPU-Z, the volts are higher at 1.37v. does the CPU and iGPU share the same volts regardless? another question is that its always running at 1600Mhz. is it better or is there a setting where it will only clock to 1600Mhz under load? also i have no idea what SoC or the other settings are in the bios. first time OCing.

Hello everyone, I built this new PC with all new componentes (Except for a very very old case, but that shouldn't matter, the PSU is new), and it's crashing all the time while gaming. The exact components are: -CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200g -GPU: AMD Vega 3 -Motherboard: Asrock A320M-HDV R4.0 (BIOS factory default 3.70) -RAM: 2x4 GB Kingston 2666 MHz KVR26N19S6/4 -SSD: Kingston A400 480 GB The PC works, it boots up (And quite fast at that), I can use office programs, internet browsing, no problem. However, when gaming I get constant BSOD, always the same error code: "THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER" I tried updating the BIOS from version 3.70 to version 4.00, and I still get the crashes. Last night, I was able to play for about 3 hours no problems, but today I couldn't play one whole CSGO competitive match without crashing. I noticed something interesting, it's always when using an internet browser on the backgroud while the game was on. I guess it could have been other programs, but I tested while whatching YouTube videos. I tried a few times, and indeed the game worked fine until I put on a video. It's not instant, and it seems kinda random, but it's what I could gather. Also, for some reason (As of now, I'll keep testing), the PC only crashed when using Microsoft Edge. I went around 20 minutes watching with Chrome and it was fine, then used Edge and within 3 or 4 minutes it crashed. I repeated this a couple times. It could have been just coincidence, but I don't know. Other thing that got my attention is the low CPU and GPU usage while playing. It never reached 100% in either of those, even with Vsync off and unlimited framerate. It's not thermal throttle, according to HWMonitor and Speccy, temps were cool at about 40º-50ºC. I'm thinking about downgrading the BIOS to version 3.30, which is the first one to support the 3200g. But I wanted to ask opinions on what to do here, and if someone had similar problems. I don't think this is the problem, but I'm not using a 80 plus PSU. Since it's a low power build, I thought spending lots of money on a good PSU was a waste, and just went for a generic one, with at least a little bit of power on the 12V line (rated for 32 A, it should be more than enough, but I'm throwing this here just in case). This is the PSU: http://lnz.com.ar/index.php/producto/sx-550-watts/ Now this may be a bit silly but... are short circuits with the case possible? I'm guessing if that was the case the PC wouldn't work at all, but since it's pretty old and uses a kinda different mounting mechanism for the screws... idk, I really don't think so, but yeah... I still can ask for a refund, so that's my chance, I have 2 weeks to fix the problem, but I don't want to get to that. I rather fix the problem. My main suspect here is the motherboard, but I can't be sure, maybe the CPU or RAM? So... If anyone could help me, I'd be extremely grateful, I hope I can find an answer soon.

Hello guys this is my first post here i need help im out of ideas of what to do haven't had this kind of problems before. So i bought new pc few days ago and i haven't been able to play any games due to stuttering i have good fps but still stutters and slows down (stuttering appears even when browsing and watching videos) My specs are: OS: Windows 10 build 18363 Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING bios version: 3003 Corsair CV550 WD Green 240gt M.2 (for os) WD BLUE 1TB HDD (for games) Asus Dual-RX580-04G Radeon RX580 OC Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 3466 MHz CL16 AMD Ryzen 3 3200G The stuttering isn't about temps that i have checked temps seem to stay bellow 80c But something weird pops up on my eyes.. For some reason my 3466mhz gets down clocked automatically to 2400mhz on default bios settings And the default settings set CPU Voltage to 1.6volts..... After i took of bios battery it went down to 1.4volts witch seems more reasonable.. I tought that it had something to do with ram speed at first so i tried overcloking RAM and i was able to get it 3000mhz with the help of DRAM calculator for ryzen 1.7 with no luck it still stutters... i have ran stress test on RAM AND CPU for atleast few hours with no errors and temps seem to be ok. SSD has been tested on HDD Scan alltough its new and it seems to be fine altough it had few <500ms sectors. So does anyone have any knowledge what could be causing these stutters. is there any known issues on these components or on the bios of this board and what am i missing... give me ideas please. sorry if has misspelling inst my native language.
