Hi, I recently upgraded my system to: Intel i5 13400F Gigabyte M760H DS3H Motherboard Corsair DDR4 Vigilance 5200Mhz 500GB WD Blue NVME Cooler Master 650Watts MWE Bronze V2 230V 80 Plus (DC to DC) AntESport RGB Fans (3 pieces) Gigabyte 2060 Super 6GB (Old components) Kingston 240GB SSD WD 1 TB HDD WD 500GB HDD UPS 600VA About 20 days ago my GPU was burned. I spoke to the Gigabyte customer care regarding the issue and upon checking the GPU they informed me that the card could be burned due to PSU. In any case since the card is burned the warranty cannot be claimed! My concern is if I buy a new card and it gets burned too? Please help me with this situation, should I buy a Gold certified PSU? Or should I buy a 1000VA UPS? Also, which GPU should I buy considering my budget is INR 25,000/- I use Amazon.in to and local market in my area to buy PC components. (Picture of burned GPU attached!)

Hey, I'm experiencing a strange issue with my Gigabyte RTX 2060. The fans can not be controlled by any software. I've tried 3rd party, Aorus Engine, MSI Afterburner and everything inbetween. The reason why I'm desperate to control the cooling fans is because as soon as the GPU hits any kind of load, the fans ramp up to 100% and never comes back down until I restart the system. At idle the GPU is sitting at 29-31 degrees celsius and under load (typically MW2) it's sitting at 55-65 degrees. Even with headset on it sounds like my computer is trying to fly away. In Aorus engine none of the sliders will even move. It is detecting my GPU, but nu functions are available. In MSI Afterburner the slider on the dashboard can be adjusted, and the GPU fan speed curve can be adjusted. But my card will not obey. In fan control by Rem0o, it is detecting the GPU, but is greyed out so it can not be controlled. Has anyone encountered the same issue before?

My desktop build consists of a Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060, 16GB DDR4, and an EVGA 450W PSU - this system has worked for a number of years at this point with this configuration without having this particular issue I understand after infinite googling and forum surfing that code 43 is not an uncommon problem to have with GPUs, but every fix I've found online doesn't seem to resolve things in regard to installing/updating my drivers. Like any other day, I boot up my system, no updates on windows or graphics drivers the previous session I used it on, and I find my PC is only booting onto a single monitor and the resolution is 480p. I quickly find in the device manager that my 2060 has been disabled by windows (Windows 10 - trial version) with the message "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" My attempts to fix this have included: DDU to remove any previous drivers/reinstall the newest one Disabling the device and re-enabling/uninstalling the device on the device manager Run a "Fix code 43" script I got from a trusted forum Install the most current driver (which was newer than the one I had when the system last worked) both in GeForce Experience and downloaded straight from Nvidia's website Physically remove and re-seat the GPU and its power delivery as well as reseat the motherboard battery What I've realized is that in any attempt to install the newest driver to the system, windows seems to block the installation even though all indicators show from the driver installer that it has been successfully installed. In Gforce Exp - when I install the driver it completes the task and then simply continues to indicate that it's downloaded and ready to be installed either express or custom installation method (I have done both express and clean install on downloaded from Nvidia and in Gfrorce experience) As of now, my device manager claims the driver installed is from 3/16, while the one I've attempted to install many times now is dated as 3/23 If anyone is familiar with this particular circumstance where it feels as though windows is blocking the installation of the newest driver to fix the error, even though Nvidia's platform indicates each time that it has been installed correctly, please throw me any tips or methods I haven't tried yet. At this point, I'm hoping this doesn't result in concluding my 2060 bricked itself randomly while my PC was turned off I run no virtual machines or lynix on this system, I just use the free version of windows 10 and play valorant lol - for some reason as well my watermark to activate windows has disappeared. Thanks, everyone!

Well the question is in the title, but if you want the full story here you go! I recently had my current monitor broken whilst rearanging my room. It was a LG 29UM69G-B 29.0" 2560x1080 75 Hz Monitor which has since been disconntuined. And im consdiering on getting an upgrade rather then just a replacement. Ive already picked out the monitors im looking at, both for a replacement and an upgarde. Im just not sure if my GPU (RTX 2060) could handle 1440p ultrawide. Im not looking for massive FPS but if its at least above 60FPS im happy.

Hello community, I have a little issue with my new gpu the RTX 2060 Twin Zotac. Since I have this card,I have some stuttering (micro) and I can't explain how this happens. My specs: RTX 2060 (latest version driver) i7 6700k (4,6GHz) Cosair DDR 16GB 3000MHz PSU 650W Win 10 20h2 My old graphics card was the gtx 970. The thing is, that I do not have in all games stuttering. Games which works just fine are: Killing Floor 2 GTA 5 Battlefield 4 Star Wars Battlefront 2 and a few more. On the other side I got a few micro stuttering on theese games: Subnautica, Smite, Dead by Daylight (here it's like every 10 sec I have a micro stuttering) Benchmark tools like 3D mark works just fine. I tested Fire Strike DX 11 & Ultra and its as fluent as it can be. Things I tried: Disable HPET, Disable Diagnostic Service, Enable / Disable Gamemode Disable Game Bar (Xbox) Clear RAM Cache with ISLC and more Reinstalled my computer with the latest Win 10. I don't know why but I have a feeling that my CPU has some issues or my ram.. I don't think its the graphics card. What do you guys think about that ? - Peace

this has been listed on overclockers for just over a week now with the price fluctuating up and down from £449 to currently £398 and then I'm guessing it will go back up. I'm just wondering if there is any value in buying this and if there will be many more on other sites for more competative prices. Personally I think the 2060 is a decent enough card from what I have read and seen - according to userbenchmark it is only 10% slower than the rtx 3060. But I would like to hear anyone elses thoughts on the matter weather in the current situation this is a value option or not. link to rtx 2060 on overclockers uk - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/palit-geforce-rtx-2060-stormx-6144mb-gddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-04n-pl.html?__cf_chl_jschl_tk__=86b40fec804af632803563342e2dbd0f94d5c859-1616938924-0-AUoDFBCddEOPST3Ys7QmMr4M6PUfr8YvMa7KYvQD0ozkN3xS6EQd1vRTN7XpaPEQEoJqH4E_xMWWB9k_tnAS-BZNSbup6nRE6zqARA5MFVuzZUaarvnjdeC3tMhESSmoXnjJ7sQ-LA_AEbwyP49QlP-licDuBqLaYrm2H83XI-HTMAYIcu_6eBf99FfYd1FyMSNUDFjPyYPwcK3pgEYjmy4FWCRVKdsEAEJJYjJLNhW0lA3ALO_BMnsPpSoyE98dNcGm2p1_nH30H6C4tKxFOFWfIFXHqXHGIiwiLlYKaeBtFei3uHB8K234bDUHYLODc8dOzZZ3Hv3Y2mb110iWpIbt9Is6kXAmWxMuGP1zDeqJQ4LXibZkMg6qLOlM7QlubaMxErL82UQFyiPVTAOWK9A8yk39jbAyoHlO4Eumw01OEoWsXQCDQRT0UmlGAb5v5RsZ4AGx5GdBwQ3Vq0mARU3oU_LmhHlOmuIGkj2irRwCriPLUTwlA9Rfn1KnR0YdMw link to user benchmark data - https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-3060-vs-Nvidia-RTX-2060/4105vs4034

The GPU shortage has hit gamers hard, but Nvidia has an unorthodox solution: Re-release old GPUs. It’s SO crazy that it might actually work… MIGHT.

So I bought a GPU off a good friend of mine who had literally just built his PC like 5-6 months ago. He had the wonderful privilege of getting a GPU from the Kansas City Micro Center and we got together and built the PC and I have had a PC that has worked great for 2-3 years now so I felt pretty confident we put together a good rig. I believe it was working fine for a bit but after while, we realized we couldn't run a lot of games like Apex even at the lowest settings as possible. It will crash just about any game except Valorant or CSGO (which are more CPU extensive from what I understand) and reboot the entire PC after x amount of time. I'm trying to get this working so I could sell my old rig and have an upgraded system. Here's his specs: Ryzen 5 5600X CPU Asus X570 tuf gaming plus (Wi-Fi) motherboard Corsair Vengeance RBG 16 GB 3200MHZ 1Tb 970 Samsung EVO M.2 Drive Asus 2060 EVO OC Edition EVGA Supernova 650 GT 650 W (System only requires about 380 W according to Wattage calculators) Corsair 5000X Case I have tried just about everything I have seen from SEVERAL forums. As far as the GPU itself, I have tried underclocking, Overclocking, doing minor increments in memory and/or boost clock, everything that the ASUS GPU Tweak II could offer including the OC Scanner. I even tried to ditch that altogether and try MSI Afterburner and even that didn't work. I've tried to use DDU and completely reinstall drivers multiple times, checked for nay compatibility issues between the CPU and any components of the build and I am getting desperate because nothing I'm trying is working. I've checked the RAM and it passed the MemTest with flying colors for a whole night. I think the only thing I haven't done because frankly I don't feel totally comfortable with it is changing the VBios because the one for my particular model of GPU isn't verified by TechPowerUp.com. I have even tried running it on my build which I have a 850 W PSU and it still crashed. Please... I just want this thing to work. If anyone has any ideas that are not, "Run Heaven or Cinebench and check temps (they stay at like 57 or so and for benchmarks they work fine but games they do not)" I AM ALL EARS. No matter what game I play whether that be Apex, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite, literally anything, it'll load the game and I may be able to play for 3 minutes if I'm lucky and then the whole PC restarts and I'm right back where I started. If you have any questions please ask and ill very willfully supply any additional information. Thank you.

Budget (including currency): Around 1,000 USD (25,000 MXN) Country: Mexico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: PC Gaming: From Esports (Rocket League, LoL, etc.) to some AAA games (Horizon Zero, Nier: Automata, TW3) Emulation: anything from GBA to Nintendo Switch. Video editing and audio pruduction: I'd like to do some light animation, video editing and produce a podcast i already have a mic for as a hobby. Other details This PC would be my main device for some time although i've pictured it as a couch gaming and emulation system over time, with it's biggest workload demand being the next couple years until i get something better. As such i still have doubts about whether or not the selected CPU and GPU would hold themselves as a video editing machine and eventually as a decent enough system for couch gaming and emulation with an upcoming 4k TV that i would hopefully buy next year. Prices in Mexico SUCK, so, for instance, a GTX 1660 is about 490 USD and a 1660ti costs 630 USD for like 10 fps more, so I would honestly buy whatever meets my expectations regardless of brand or model as far as it delivers enough performance to do the aforementioned stuff. Components: CPU: i3 10100f (currently less than 100 USD here) GPU: 1660 - 2060 RAM: 16Gb of the fastest and cheapest I can buy Would this run games at high framerate in 1080p and 60 fps at 4k or should rethink it? Also, I'd be buying during black friday so i still have enough time to plan it.

Hi, I'm experiencing micro stuttering across all games like League of Legends, Apex, TFT, Football Manager, frame time suddenly tops out out of no where, tried DDU reinstalling Windows doesn't help, is it possible that my GPU is faulty? What should I look for when using Afterburner to monitor it? I tried using after burner monitoring the frame time and such, nothing special comes up except GPU usage sudden drop and frametime spikes to the roof. Here's my rig i7-11700F B560M Bazooka RTX 2060 G.Skill Trident Z Neo 16GB*2 3600mhz SFX 650W PSU Here is my afterburner log, the spike happens at 17:14:50 and 17:24:54 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_KVcEDNHxI2qUX6eFsdcY3ScZQ5wYKga/view?usp=sharing Also adding a log of league of legends stuttering: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VxN16_Ta5344RL9wOKfkNGo0jZFor1PwST9JyxGUpFM/edit?usp=sharing

Hey guys, new member here all the way from india. Looking for your help in expanding my PCs capabilities. So currently I'm running a motherboard msi b450m a pro max with Rtx2060 + R5 3500 + 8*2 16gb ram and ssd hdd setup on my 750W PSU. The cabinet used is ANT eSports iCE 200tg with 5 120mm fans - front and top intake 120mm*4 units + rear exhaust 120mm. And the cpu is using stick wraith cooler with no issues about temps on any component. Ps- attaching the image below , installation of fans is pending, yet to receive product from seller. I'm getting a really good deal on 5700xt at around 700$ new , or 47,000INR. Which is really nice in today's scenario as per availability in my region. I do not wish to let go of this deal knowing as per my PSU capabilities I can very well run an additional 5700xt with my current wattage. The problem comes with the installation, I will need to use risers - 1) 1 16*16 for rx5700 in my Mobo pcie gen 2 16 slot. 2) 1*16 riser to shift the current rtx to one of the empty mounting brackets empty as shown in the image attached. -------------- I use my PC for light gaming - csgo and valorant mainly. Content creation on YouTube as well as some light rendering. What I'm worried about is my Mobo supporting these cards together on the slots it has using the risers mentioned, and whether the case will allow it as there are slots but there will be an inch of space between the two GPUs? I also mine on nicehash when I have no work assigned to my pc, 12-15 hours a day. So I'll be using the 2 cards to generate whatever little revenue I can in my free time too. please help.

Hi, Due to time constraints I am having to push forwards the building of my pc and unfortunately only have three Corsair ql120mm fans for airflow in the Lian Li o11 mini. I will be cooling a 5900x with a Noctua nhd15 chromax black and ill be using the Gigabyte RTX2060 oc as my gpu. Do you think this will be adequate air flow for these components and can you suggest a fan layout? I will be using my system quite heavily so the components will be pegged at quite high usage for long stints of time . Thanks for the help, Stay safe, Lex.

so I just bought a new second monitor for my setup, my evga 2060 xc ultra only has one hdmi port, so I bought a display to hdmi, at first it wasn't outputting anything, I even tried the unplug method and still didn't work, I then turned my pc off, unplugged the hdmi and left only the display in, and turned my pc on. It gave a signal for about 5 seconds before it stopped, so I plugged in my hdmi cable again and it switched to it even though it wasn't plugged in, despite it displaying something for 5 seconds, my pc or nvidia control center don not detect the second screen. I'm just wondering if there is any way I can have an output coming from my hdmi and display at the same time, or if I can switch my card to only output to the displayports, as I have two of them. any help would be greatly appreciated!

If i buy a 1660ti instead of a RTX 2060, I am gonna miss out on DLSS 2.0. Is it going to be a big deal?
-
I'm looking into buying the ASUS TUF A15 and i'm confused on whether i should get a 1660ti with 144hz display or a 2060 with a 60 hz display as theyre both almost the same price and i cant afford the 2060 144hz. I do play competetive games and eye candy games so I'm not really sure which one I wanna go for. Does 144hz really make that big of a difference? I know the 2060 is about 15-20% better in games, but I dont know where I could place the refresh rate upgrade in comparison

The title says it all. Hi my name is Daniel. I currently built my new PC with these parts Gigabyte b450 Aorus M Ryzen 5 3500x Galax RTX 2060 Ex Cooler Master 700W V2 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 8gbx2 Corsair MP510 I tried booting to bios and it worked, I tried changing RGB from bios and it works, so, finally I tried to install windows 10, the Aorus logo pops up for a couple of seconds then a blank blue screen appears for a minute or so, then PC shuts off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. So far I tried disabling CSM and it didn't work.
