Budget (including currency): Max 2500 Euros Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FPS games like valorant, csgo, apex and occasionally random indie games or story games. A PC good enough to play and stream if possible Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): In the images i have below are parts a friend of mine put together for me but i'm not sure if i could improve the performance somewhere for similar price because some people have said its alot of money for looks when i could save and get a 4080 or something i'm not sure i dont know much about pc's. But the nzxt kraken elite aio looks cool and i like its display. The image of the pc is how i'd like my pc too look if possible too! . Im looking to buy this month and would like to play in 1440p at 165hz if that's good for fps games or would work? Any reply would be appreciated! I really like to look of the pc in the picture but if theres a way to get better performance at the cost of looks i'd gladly look at it!

Hey everyone, I've had the Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless for about a month now and I love it, except the advertised 2000hz mode does not work at all. The option to put the keyboard into 2000hz just doesn't appear at all in iCUE whatsoever. When wired though, the 8000hz mode works fine and only then does the 2000hz mode for the dongle appear as an option, although disconnecting the keyboard from USB caps it at 1000hz again. I did contact Corsair support but they weren't very helpful, opting to blame the issue on wireless interference rather than look into it possibly being a firmware or hardware issue. About a week later, ShortCircuit released a video on the K100 Air, which also advertises a 2000hz polling rate over wireless, and I noticed they also had issues getting the 2000hz mode to work. While I also believe this may be something wonky going on with the firmware, considering the keyboard has been out for awhile, I don't have too high hopes. I do have hope now that, since the issue was mentioned in the video, maybe Corsair will take notice. Has anyone else had issues getting the 2000hz mode to work on their K70 Pro Mini Wireless, or any other Corsair keyboard for that matter when using it completely wireless?

So can someone give me some feedback on this This build ? The budget was around 2000€ (but went a bit over), on top of that i want a new monitor. The build is Mostly for gaming on 1440p high, and for looking good on my desk. Some qeustions i have regarding this build people recocomended that i upgraded to a 7900 xtx over an xt is this a good upgrade for the price ? is the airflow really is that bad of the hyte y40 (with extra fans) can't find reliable answers online ? did i overspend on the pc in comparison to the monitor ? should i upgrade the ryzen 5 to a 7 7700x ? Please let me now what you think of this build would really apricate the feedback. https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/B6HKyK The theme is white and black (so I don’t mind spending a little extra on rgb and white parts.) And I live in the Netherlands.

Budget (including currency): 2000 € Country: Luxembourg (German Amazon) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly for games, occasional work to be done Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WmYsz7 Hey there! I got a friend of mine which wants a gaming PC and the budget is around 2000€ max. As the GPU market still seems fucked up price wise that was the main problem^^ I choose the following items on PCPartPicker as they should be on amazon cause this is where he is planning to order the parts from. Is there anything you would change? Or a problem you might consider that I havent realized? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WmYsz7 Thanks in advance for the answers! Best regards!

I've been struggling for a long time with my R7 2700. Random Black Screen crash with PC fans running but no peripherals. It started happening with an As rock basic motherboard that was later changed to a B450 Tomahawk, and the issued persisted (not a motherboard issue). Changing the RAM apparently solved the issue, FOR THE MOST PART. I would like to run a simple OC to 4 GHz at 1.35 – 1.375 V (most users report they can get 4 GHz+ no issues). The chip should be able to do it, it can complete CB R20 several times until the black screen happens again. From what I read online, some users report that increasing SoC Voltage solved the issue for them. So that's my question, should I increase the voltage to help with my CPU OC? Zen+ IPC is quite slow, so until I can upgrade, I would like to get more performance out of this chip. I have used it at 4 GHz for gaming numerous days without crashing, but the moment I stability test, the issue will appear again. That's why I say I think my CPU should be able to handle 4 GHz.

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/KPkQY9 Budget (including currency): Maximum 1850 cad Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Video editing, gaming, multitasking (2 monitors) and for school. Games I will be playing include Ark: Survival Evolved, Hearts of Iron 4, Minecraft (rendering vids in high frame rates) and Cyberpunk. Rendering videos in NVENC using Vegas 18 Pro, learning Adobe Premiere. Other details I will look into buying a 1440p 144hz monitor as well. Currently running 1 60hz and 1 75hz 1080p monitor. Most PC parts I will be picking up Black Friday from CC. UPGRADING FROM: 2 Xeon x5670s, 48 gigs of ddr3-1333mz in triple channel, asus 1650 super (hp z800 workstation) NOTES: Storage I will be using from my old computer X570S Elite Aorus (non AX) was purchased from CC for 209.99 CAD as a black friday deal. (i have it right now) Bought the 4000x for 139.99 CAD from Best Buy, have it right now If something does come up, I can return both of these for a full refund. Also, there is a Zotac AMP Holo Extreme 3070 TI in Canada Computers for 829.00 Cad, is it worth buying? Is it a good deal? I cannot find any 3080s other than one available for 969~. Everything else is over a grand or out of stock. I would love a 3080 that isn't the gigabyte vison, since my build is black and I want lots of RGB. And, is the cooler fine? I'm looking to overclock the 5800x. Lots of Feedback is appreciated, this is one of my biggest purchases yet.

Hey Guss, I will be starting college this fall and I'm gonna need a laptop for it. The main tasks are gonna be: - note taking in class - Microsoft office - Movie and music streaming - light photoshop and premiere pro (just some light-weight 1080 footage) - light gaming, mainly competitive games live League of Legends, CS:GO and FIFA (1080p 60 frames should be doable) i also would like a nice looking ips screen, maybe touch (don't know if I'll need it). I assume, a hq processor would be nice for the full 4 cores and some gpu for the Tals described above... thunderbolt 3 is also interesting for eGPU setups. "All day battery life" is also needed or at least for long study sessions! My budget is around 2000€ and I'm located in Germany. I already looked in to the dell xps 15 9560 (with i7, 4K, gtx 1050), but the 2 lane pci for the thunderbolt 3 connection and really low end graphics scare me a little. Also i looked into the razer blade (gtx 1060, 1080p), but battery life seems to be way too low... thanks guys! David

Hello i'm going to make a new PC that i will use for Gaming and Programming. Mostly website, mobile programming and data analyzing. For gaming it mostly will Dota2, CS:GO and some AAA games. My plan is going for : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/F7hGZ8 I'm sticking with ASUS for Aura Sync RGB themed PC. Can you help me choose a monitor for my build and any suggestion for my build to change? I'm still confused about the difference between ASUS ROG IX HERO and ASUS STRIX Z270 series. Thank you, and sorry for bad english

I cannot decide which one of these to get. I want a low noise and versatile fan for multiple spots in my case. Im planning to put one on my current CPU heatsink and later one in the rear exhaust. The main thing for me is the noise fan makes. Does anybody have experience in both of these and could give me an opinion in a real world situation. I've heard that IPPC fan has a bit higher pitched voice in the same RPM than the regular A14, but is this true? Make some sense to me and tell me what to buy. Price difference here in Finland is that the IPPC one is 5 euros more expensive and in the case that if it is better, is it still worth 5 euros more? Thank you for anything you can input in this case!

Hey all, pretty soon I'm going to be getting around $5k and I'm possibly looking to build a new PC. My last PC was a GTX 970 with an FX 8320, and I haven't paid much attention to the market since then, so needless to say, I'm pretty out of the loop. Looking for some suggestions on the best price/performance parts around the $2k price point (including monitor). Since my last build is relatively outdated, I figure I'll just build a whole new system and sell the old one on Craigslist or something. It's going to be used almost exclusively for gaming, with some possible music recording happening as well. I'd like to have a case with a side window and perhaps RGB support (looking at perhaps an H500). Also I'd like to ideally have a 1440p, 144hz ultrawide, and I'm open to some of the more affordable Korean models, but if this isn't realistic at this price point I can suck it up; I've got a perfectly good 1080p 144hz panel that will work fine while I debate if I'd like to drop some extra on an ultrawide. Thanks guys! Looking forward to your responses.

No, I don't still use Windows XP or something, I use Windows 10, to get that out of the way. BUT I was wondering if anyone has made custom software to either make custom drivers for Windows XP or older, or just trick the drivers to think it is Windows 10. I just was wondering for an experiment if I could somehow get my GTX 1060 to work with Windows XP, and maybe even windows 98. The box clearly reads windows 7, 8 and 10. I know this is a long shot question. Thanks!

Beside the RTX 3000 series have high different core counts than the 2000 series, are there any new 3000 technology that the 2000 series don't have?

Has anyone bought new X470 motherboards with Ryzen 2000 series processors? What RAM are you using and what speeds are you getting, any problems? I am tried to look up a few modules in the compatibility list and I can't find the exact same model (similarly to 1st gen motherboard). I heard more ram are compatible so in theory, maybe we don't need to look to manuals anymore, as it was with gen1 motherboards before?

Budget: $2000 Plan: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Bwopper/saved/p4fWXL Looking to stay around $2000 but $100 more is ok if it's worth the extra money. I play usually 3-6 different games primarily, but every now and then, play something else. This is why im considering changing my storage. I want to use the 2700x and x470 in my build, and even overclock it. I'm starting from scratch since I use a laptop. Im buying a quality monitor and keyboard. I already have a nice mouse. However, since its my first, i'm getting lost in these numbers. Games I want to be able to play: Basically any AAA game that can catch my eye. Also I play Fortnite and PUBG. GPU: Definitely want to use a 1080, what I have listed was what i've had in my plan for most of the time. I want to have the best value around 2000 basically. Is my part plan living up to this?

Hey guys I am going to build a PC on Ryzen 2 once Turing cards come out. My original plan was to get Ryzen 2600X, pair it with a B450 board and then buy an air cooler. However, yesterday X470 boards came out and with them I found some interesting deals. Many retailers here in my country will give you a free 240mm MasterLiquid RGB AiO cooler if you buy a X470 mobo from Asus. Now, my question is: Should I buy the board now, get a free AiO with it and then build the rest after the GPUs come out OR pass on this absolutely awesome deal and build the PC sometime in September as the original plan was? Before you just tell me to wait, think about it again, this is X470 board, I was going to buy B450 and I would get a free AiO, not just an air cooler. On the other hand, all X470 boards are completly new and the platform hasn't matured yet, they could have some small flaws to them. So, what do you think: should I buy the board now or not?

laptop Buying a laptop for gaming <2000€ (2400$)
Nojusv posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Hey, so im looking to buy a new laptop mostly for gaming. My budget is preferably <2000€(~2400$), but it can exceed that if necessary. I travel alot so buying a monitor, keyboard is not an option. I would mostly play dota2, but i would also love to occasionaly download games like pubg, csgo, pubg, world of wacraft or some new blockbuster game. My main concerns are BUILD and DISPLAY quality, it would also be nice if it was portable. I was looking at Asus rog gl703vm 17” scar or aorus x7 v6 (cant afford v7), but i cant find the display specs of asus’ scar and i never bought a proper gaming laptop before so im unsure. Since I never bought a proper gaming laptop before I want the best i can get under 2000€ (2400$) or slightly above. First time posting on ltt, Thanks for your time, hoping for advice on the issue. The laptops’ amazon links ive been looking at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B076D95R1P/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1513767634&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=Asus+gl703vm+scar&dpPl=1&dpID=516MK84NZLL&ref=plSrch https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01KB8QRVQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1513767683&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=aorus+x7+v6&dpPl=1&dpID=31umC5JjrbL&ref=plSrch Spec/features links: https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-Strix-SCAR-Edition/Tech-Specs/ https://www.aorus.com/product-detail.php?p=553&t=35&t2=&t3= -
1. Budget & Location 2000 USD - 2100 but I am willing to go slightly above budget for a huge performance boost. 2. Aim My aim is to play games like Overwatch, No Mans Sky, City Skylines, ARK Survival Evolved, and a lot of RPGs all at Max Settings 3. Monitors Either a 24" 1080p 144hz monitor or a 27" 2k (over 60hz if fits budget) 4. Peripherals New gaming keyboard and Windows 10. I am planing on the Blackwidow X Chroma TE by Razer 5. Why are you upgrading? I am currently gaming on GT 610 and some 4 core AMD processor and is obviously not enough for todays games. Thanks in advance Also, here is a part list I made so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/GmN7XH

Hey guys! This is going to be my first time building a gaming PC, since I'm pretty much new to this stuff I preffer to ask for some advice to someone that know what's up (you guys). Im a Graphic Designer so I have a basic knowledge of hardware, that's why I need some guidance on what are the best parts that I could buy with my budget. My main objective it's gaming but I want the build to also work fine with Designer Sowftware like all the Adobe line. Into the build. I do have some prefferences for this build. Budget: $2,300, not a penny more, the Acer Predator X34 broke my bank, lol. PC Case: Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ATX Mid Tower Case - I'am a fan of simple yet robust look and of all the cases that I've looked into, that's my Favorite, so I would love to include it in the build if possible. CPU: Skylake CPU - since I want it to be as future proof as possible Network: Because Logistics I need a Wi-Fi adapter for the build. Color: Black/Yellow, Black/Orange, Black/Gold... but to be honest Im not anal about this. I want to get into ultrawide for game immersion and work purpose, productivity it's the key. The periferals that I own are: Mouse: Corsair Scimitar RGB Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Mechanical Keyboard Cherry MX Red Monitor: Acer Predator X34 21:9 (My baby) I think thats all I could think so out of the top of my head, I would appreciate if you guys could help me pick the best parts for my buck. Thank you so much for your time guys!
