I am hoping for some feed back on my build. Had some extra cash come in because of the company I work for got bought, and as a thank you the old owners gave everyone a bonus. Anyways. On to the Build. Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC LGA1151 Micro ATX CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K Coffee Lake 8core 3.6GHz (4.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1151 Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8) 288-Pin DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) *Thinking of buying two more some time soon, Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda ST2000 2TB 7200RPM 256MB Cache Sata 6.0Gb/s 3.5" (Also a WD1TB HD for backup if needed, if was FREE) Solid State Drive: Western Digital Blue SN550 NVMe M.2 2280 1TB PCI-Express 3.0x4 3D NAND CPU Fan: Noctua NH-D15s 140mm S So2 D-Type Premium GPU: ASUS Radeon Rx580 DirectX 12 Dual-Rx580-O8G 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Power Supply: Corsair RMx Series RM850x 850W ATX / EPS12V 80 Plus GOLD Full Modular Case: Corsair 275R Airflow Black Steel / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower (self etched the glass) Monitor: AOC 24" (other specs unknow it was also Free) And a few years old HP 2009m I don't know much about over clocking, I might of went a little over kill with the Noctua D15s. But I'm hoping this will last for awhile and wont need to much over the next couple of years. Bought it to mainly work on a invention I have in mind, and am using it to run my 3D printer. Also a hand full of games. Like CoD: MW WareZone, Apex Legends, GTAV, Ring of Elysium, PubG, CS:GO, Quake Champions, and MineCraft. Would really like to know what you all think. And any pointers on where to go from here. Thanks.

Budget (including currency): $300 - $600 USD Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Overwatch, Minecraft, OBS, eSports titles, OBS, etc Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have all of the peripherals that I think I need: mouse (Logitech G305), keyboard (Steelseries Apex 5), mousepad (Steelseries large), headset (Steelseries Arctis 3), and I'll have a fine monitor by the time I finish building this rig . So this is JUST about the PC parts and rig as a whole. I currently use all of this on a 2019 Macbook Pro 15" (school and work, not changing, I love macOS sorrynotsorry) and on my Xbox 1S (very limited mouse and keyboard support). I would like to move over to PC gaming with the new console generation, so I'm hoping to only spend around what the new consoles will cost at launch hopefully with similar (if not better) specs. in terms of games I play now and plan on playing: I spend a lot of my time paying Overwatch (Xbox), Tomb Raider (Xbox), fun indies (Xbox/Switch), fighting games (xbox, switch), and adventure games (usually Switch). I usually skip AAA's, or play them on my xbox, so this thing doesn't need to be a beast. I would love to play good looking games around 60fps with high resolution, or competitive games at around 144fps at medium resolution. Long story short, this doesn't need to be crazy lol. I'm also pretty handy with trouble shooting and fixing funky hardware, so I'll be using suggestions from this to look for sales, deals on ebay, craigslist, etc. over the next year or two. Let me know if you're running something that it sounds like would work for me, or if you've got some ideas to share I'm not in a hurry, so have fun! (I'l probably check back in on this every day or so) Some specs/ guidelines that I'm using: - Budget, so so very budget. Ebay and refurb are my best friend - low(ish) power consumption - cooling doesn't matter (I just want it to be easy/ low maintenance) - AMD v. Intel doesn't matter (Kinda leaning AMD but idc) - I love the idea of upcycling and reusing material (cases or used products or whatever I can get away with) Tl;Dr: 1st time budget gaming rig using discount/2nd hand parts, no peripherals needed, for esports titles Thank you!!

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING. This would be my more expensive version... https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Spainz/saved/#view=zZJnLk This would be my less expensive version https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Spainz/saved/#view=tRKqpg Here are some limitations that I MUST MEET in the order of importance, top being most: Must be Wifi AC not ethernet motherboard, as I have no ethernet wall plug in my room, and the wifi must go through 1 floor and multiple dry-walls. I expect a VERY GOOD cooling system (I don't wan't to dive into water cooling as I'll be assembling this thing form hell). Have great audio as I will be playing (rn exclusively) Escape From Tarkov, a game known for it's directional and distance specific audio. The power supply should be adequate (note: I have no idea about electricity). Dust in my room is a concern... but cooling must come first. I do not plan nor do I intend to overclock, though I'm curious as to what Boost is. Basically, I know I over-qualify with these above builds for Escape From Tarkov. That is fine. But I need to know not only if each component is compatible and works with each part it connects or interacts with, I also need to know... lol, will it fit in the case? Y'all are better are mapping this stuff out in your heads then I am. Additionally, If I am missing any important part of a PC tower that I need to game, let me know. Such as an audio card... though I was informed by a friend that doesn't really matter these days?

Hello good morning/day/evening people, This is the first PC that I build and I wanted to know if the CPU and the GPU bottleneck each other. Out of the components in the list I've already bought the Monitor and the GPU. They were on sale at the time I bought them. My objective is to play any game with a resolution of 1080p and 60fps between high and ultra (don't know if this is realistic with this configuration but there is that). My budget is between £1000 and £1700 and I am currently living in the UK. For the OS I will be *cough* legally using Windows. PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor (£375.19 @ Aria PC) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£24.48 @ PC World Business) Motherboard: Asus - ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (£297.99 @ Amazon UK) Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2133 Memory (£103.97 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Western Digital - Blue 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (£138.86 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Western Digital - Red Pro 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£108.33 @ Amazon UK) Video Card: Sapphire - Radeon RX 580 8 GB PULSE Video Card (£212.98 @ Laptops Direct) Power Supply: EVGA - B3 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£69.98 @ CCL Computers) Monitor: ViewSonic - XG2402 24.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor (£219.00 @ Amazon UK) Total: £1550.78 Any suggestions or advice feel free to give them.

Hello everyone, I am planning on building my own 1st rig and done some research of this and that. But I am not that confident so I am reaching out to you people of the PC Master Race. Here are the specs that I personally choose-- CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700 3.2 GHz or Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz Cooler: I will be using the cooler stock Mobo: MSI - X470 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 RAM: G.Skill- Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200Mhz Memory SSD: Samsung - 860 Evo 250 GB HDD: Western Digital- BLACK SERIES 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Video Card: MSI- GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GAMING X Case: Corsair Carbide SPEC- 06 PSU: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular Fans: Corsair SP120 3-Pack Monitor: ZOWIE XL2411P 144Hz 24 inch e-Sports Monitor 1920 x 1080 (or any decent gaming monitor that have 144Hz g-sync 1920 x 1080) Questions: 1. Will there be any issues like bottlenecking? 2.Should I get 2700x or 2700? (really prefer Ryz 7 2nd gen and its a good price compare to intel that needs a cooler) 3.Is it okay to get 1080 Ti 11GB GAMING X or should I get 1080 version instead? 4.Do I need higher WATT on the PSU? (For safety purpose) 5.What am I missing? Thanks in advance and Happy gaming... PS. The country that I live in have very limited parts and these are the only parts that really match my preference.

1. Budget & Location Location: Australia Budget:Around 1600 AUD 2. Aim I'll be using it mostly for gaming. I have a laptop that I do the majority of my work, web browsing, movie watching etc. at them moment. I don't need to store any pictures of videos on the PC as I have them on my laptop. The games I want to play include Blizzard's new Overwatch, Star Wars battlefront and new AAA titles coming out in the future.I'll also probably be playing LoL and CS:GO to some extent but I don't see them pushing my system. Also although my budget is relatively fixed at the moment, I want to be able to upgrade in the future. 3. Current Parts List PCPartPicker part list: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/7j24zy Price breakdown by merchant: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/7j24zy/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($275.00 @ PCCaseGear) Motherboard: MSI B85-G43 GAMING ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($145.00 @ PCCaseGear) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Red 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($66.00 @ Centre Com) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($135.00 @ CPL Online) Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB Video Card ($355.00 @ CPL Online) Case: NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case ($179.00 @ CPL Online) Power Supply: Silverstone Strider Plus 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($109.00 @ Umart) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-bit) ($145.00 @ CPL Online) Monitor: Samsung S22D300HY 60Hz 21.5" Monitor ($149.00 @ Centre Com) Keyboard: Thermaltake CHALLENGER PRIME Wired Gaming Keyboard ($45.00 @ Mwave Australia) Total: $1603.00 4. Monitors I'll need to buy a monitor. I've settled on a 1080p Samsung monitor but I'm open to anything else to be honest. 5. Peripherals I just need to buy a keyboard because the one I currently have is falling apart. My current mouse and headphones are fine. I do need an operating system. Where should I be buying it from? 6. Why are you upgrading? Currently I'm using a Macbook Air, which is great for word-processing, web browsing etc. but when it comes to gaming, it's not optimal.

Hi guys, Im new to these forums so, i hope i posted this in the right place. Im planing on building a new pc, this would be my first complete build. I have already upgraded pcs in the past. My current pc is getting really old, im lagging in pretty much all my games even after clean install of W10. I have a friend that would like to buy my pc and use it as a simple HTPC. My budget is about 850$ CAD with taxes and shipping. ( I could go over a little) This PC will be used mostly for playing League of Legends, Minecraft, Trove and Google Chrome. Here is what I got so far PCPartPicker part list: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/tvxMWZ Price breakdown by merchant: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/tvxMWZ/by_merchant/ CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($107.95 @ Vuugo) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($78.99 @ NCIX) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($64.98 @ DirectCanada) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.74 @ DirectCanada) Video Card: Asus Radeon R7 360 2GB Video Card ($156.98 @ Newegg Canada) Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($69.99 @ Memory Express) Optical Drive: LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer ($14.88 @ Canada Computers) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-bit) ($122.00 @ shopRBC) Other: Thermaltake Versa N21 ($54.76) Total: $725.27 Prices include shipping, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-10-03 21:59 EDT-0400 NOTE: Prices do not contain taxes, taxes in my province are about 15% (about 833$) I will change the case to something that has dvd bay around that same price point. I do not plan on overclocking. So please, tell me if its good, bad, horrible, a disgrace, etc or if its way over kill for a 1080P 60Hz Monitor. PS: I already own a keyboard and mouse, but if I have extra budget, i will put that money on a back light keyboard. Thanks in advance

I've just built my system, and I am after finding some programmes that can stress test it and make sure it's running and working as it should be. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
