I don’t know too much about PCs but I’d love to learn more this stuff is very interesting to me. It will be my first ever PC so I’m just trying to make something that can last a while. I went with the 1650 GPU just to have something Decent in the PC until over cards come back into stock. Hopefully that’s not too big of a problem. With this CPU I’ll have to Update the BIOS on the motherboard but that doesn’t seem too difficult. Let me know if there is anything I’m missing or just overlooking. Thank you.

Budget (including currency): Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, What are some good options for a gaming PC around $1500-$2000 that can handle 1440p gaming without excessive noise from the fans? My son is 6 and he tried couple games on PC and he seems to like it. I'd like him to study and learn coding/programming on it if possible.

I have been wanting to make a PC for the past couple months now. My budget is $1,500 and I have made a build using PC Part Picker. I don't know about PC's, so I do not even know if it is a good build. I plan to play Fortnite, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and Rocket League. I may stream in the future, but I am not sure yet. I want a PC for gaming and maybe sometimes for streaming. I plan on playing rainbow, forntie, csgo, rocket league, and modern warfare. I prefer intel over AMD. My budget is around $1,600-$1,700 USD. I also need the monitor, keyboard, and mouse included in that budget.

So I lied their would be words, to start off this computer is god tier 2GB of memory at a blistering fast 100 MHz with an amazingly thermal throttled core 2 quad with the hard drive bay doubling as fine ass heatsink, some may say "hey adam but how well does it work" and ill tell you it works so well that the hard drive bay doesn't even heat up!. In this fine a$$ hard drive bay were sporting an old 60GB hard drive that's plugged into a sata to usb adapter plugged directly into the next gen usb 2.0 IO.On top of the hard drive bay heatsink combo we put cds for nostalgia (and to keep the hard drive bay from falling off). Next we have the gpu with a whopping unknown card cause we pulled it out of a bin filled with terrible gpus then we gave it a heat sink upgrade and put it on its way. we connected it to a monitor using a dual dvi to dvi then a dvi to VGA then a VGA cable then a VGA to HDMI then HDMI to DVI. We did this to get the advantages of all the standards. But even with the best of systems problems arise. Starting with the monitor only displays in purple, we need a desk fan to cool down the beastly components. one of the ICs on the motherboard randomly throws out sparks and we cant make it past the boot screen because it only thermal throttle, but it will beat any ones timespy or cinebench records. all seriousness this was fun I dare anyone to make a woking shittier computer and maybe we can get a sh!t PC fan series going!

So I am having some trouble here deciding if I should pull the trigger on building my 1st PC. If I get it now my budget is $650. $650 Build Log - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2x6myf I am also hesitating due to the mining craze dying off and the potential that the 50%+ inflated prices on GPUs might go down. Also with Zen 2 coming out, the better Ryzen 7 or even 5 might plummet in price?? Also I plan on buying the GPU straight from manufacturer because a 1070 FE from Nvidia is $399 compared to Newegg's $460-$525 and even with rebates its still $40 over nvidia's price. If I were to wait till my birthday next year mid June, could we see prices drop? I would have more time to save up money. Birthday Build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/33VPtJ **Not sure on GPU Length...neither PCPP or Nvidia's site said** Let me know what you think. Uses For PC: Gaming at 1080p 60fps *Not sure which monitor i will end up with by then so resolution is unknown* Games I plan on Playing: - H1Z1 - Rainbow Six Seige - Minecraft - CSGO - Overwatch - Warface - Black Ops 2 - All Call of Duty Modern Warfare Games - Similar Titles (Mainly Multiplayer Games) Additional Information: I do editing in After Effects and use lots of effects along with some 3D text work inside of Element 3D v2. My current PC will hardly run it and lags/crashes when using it. I want to make sure it can handle anything I throw at it in their. Rendering times are not an issue, I usually leave videos/edits rendering overnight anyways. Screen Recording Games at 60fps without stuttering or issues (preferably via FRAPS).

I need some feedback on this. It's my 1st build so I don't really know what i'm doing. I have however researched this for a few weeks. I plan to use it for mid to high end gaming. I'd like it to last for a while, and I don't plan on upgrading much. Plan to slightly OC the CPU. The maximum budget for me is $2500. Will not change to AMD CPU or GPU. Would like any bottlenecks identified. Thank you in advance. I will be playing fortnite, rocket league, rainbow 6, modern warfare, and overwatch. I created a build for myself and I want to know if it is good or if it needs little adjustments.
