Hi there, I want to buy myself a pc for around 1500 Euros. I searched quite a long time and had some months to get some info's and then put it together on PCPARTPICKER. I also want it to be a bit future prove that's why i chose ddr5 and i already have the PSU. I would like to play games like War Thunder, Cyberpunk 2077 and other power hungry games... Video editing is also a thing i might want to do so yea... The link for the Part list is here : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LT67k9 . I really hope the build is good but never the less thanks in advance for help. Hope my English wasn't that bad it's not my mother language. Have a great day Herbs

Greetings specialists, so the other day I got a request of finding hardware with the following requirements. Note: no apple product. - it has to run Adobe products (especially Photoshop and AfterEffects), with the possibility to work on high quality frame-by-frame animations - it has to have a touchscreen and be convertible, to work on things like this outdoors (at a café or while in a meeting) - able to run some youtube videos - able to run some games at normal/medium quality, with the words mentioned "at least it shouldn't lag, it's fine if it is ugly". What tags I've already tried to look for: - convertible - high Adobe RGB coverage - 2-in-1 laptops And because of the recommended Adobe requirements, also: -16 Gigs of RAM - 512 gigs of harddrive as a minimum (or at least 256 gigs with microSSD option) But with everything said, I cannot find the perfect fit to complete the request. Sometimes its the screen or the laptop just has no convertible option. Especially my knowledge about Intel Graphics-cards (Intel UHD, Intel Iris) kills me over and over again. So after 20 hours of pain, I decided to ask you! Please help me! (max. ~1500€, cheaper is always welcome EU, Germany)

Hello o/ Im looking for a gaming laptop at 1.500 euros aprox. Games that i play are nothing crazy just games like world of Warcraft, some shooter games. I need a couple of suggestions and some ranking on them or why you think one is better than the other so i can check the availability and have multiple options if one is not available. i will use my own keyboard, mouse and a wireless headset. I may also need a decent cooling stand. Battery is not THAT important. The only thing im wondering if having my laptop permanently in charging is damaging for it. Or if i game while it charges, im assuming that its gonna get pretty warm and stuff. Will a cooling stand make up for it? Thanks in advance :)

Budget (including currency): 1500EUR Country: Slovakia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I am looking for a good al-rounder desktop for games and workstation use. Currently my work include heavy use of MS Office with lots of open browser tabs and I will be working with VR, Unity and UE 4 in the near future. Not as a professional content creator, but as a researcher in using VR at a business level. Most of my games are poorly optimized and/or CPU depended like Guild Wars 2 and grand strategies like Galactic Civs III, Hearts of Iron IV, Europa Universalis, Stellaris with mods, ARMA III. AAA titles 1 year after release. Other details: Hello! Please bear with me on this, some explanation is needed. This August a gave away my old desktop (i5-6500, GTX 960, 16GB RAM). Back then i used my PC for studying (lots of MS Office and open browser tabs included), work (same as before) and light gaming when I had the time. While it was awesome for studying and work, it somewhat struggled with gaming. But it was good enough to get the job done. However, I was promoted in my research institute and will work with VR, Unity and UE4 in the near future. While I will get PC for that in my workplace, I would like to do some work at home. I want to get a good PC that would last 3 or 4 years without the necessity of upgrading, that's why I want to use new components. A lot of stuff is unavailable or have ridiculously high prices, so the budget is not accurate at the moment. Anyway, any advice is greatly appreciated. So far I came up with this: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 608,90 EUR MOBO: ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PLUS 131,90EUR CPU Cooler: NOCTUA NH-D15 SE-AM4 98,90 EUR GPU: ASUS GeForce TUF RTX 3070 O8G GAMING Not listed. Can't find relevant price in my country. it should be approx 700 EUR RAM: HyperX 32GB DDR4 3600MHz CL18 FURY 157,90EUR SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB for OS 76,90EUR SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB 129,90EUR HDD: WD Blue, 4TB 102,90 EUR PSU: Corsair TX750M High Performance 100,90 EUR Case: SilentiumPC Regnum RG6V TG Pure Black 61,90 EUR PC Fan: NOCTUA NF-A14 PWM 20,90EUR I know, it is more than my bugdet. The prices are placeholders for some cases (Side note: I don't care for RGB.) I probably forgot something. I used prices from this eshop and they are known to have crazy prices in some cases. I did not do actual prices right now, for most likely I will build the PC in January or February 2021 when GPU should be more available. Is it realistical to spent 1500EUR for Ryzen 5900x with RTX 3070 PC? I can spend more, lets say up to 2000, if the bang is worth the buck. I have a 1080p monitor right now, but I want to buy a 1440p in Q1 2021. It is not in the bugdet 9If anyone can recommend a good 1440p monitor, please do). I hope this makes sense. If I forgot to mention something, let me know. Thanks for all responses.

Hello guys, this PC will be for my 15-year old cousin. He's only played Fortnite and Minecraft so far, so I don't have a specific performance target to go after, just the budget as stated below. It will be my first build from scratch, but I upgraded/rebuild PCs before. Also, Wifi is required, but a simple PCIe card would do just fine. Thanks for any recommendations, tips or advice! 1. Budget & Location 1500€ (PC) + 500€ (Monitor) - Germany 2. Aim Gaming as first priority, but with enough room for some light content creation or streaming in the future 3. Monitors Only one 1440p 144Hz (pretty much set on the LG 27GL850-B), maybe some additional 1080p 60Hz later 4. Peripherals Peripherals will be dealt with later (except monitor, see above), Windows 10 should be part of the budget. 5. Why are you upgrading? It's a new build and no upgrade, so question answered. 6. Link (updated) https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/JRjCwh

Hi everyone, 1. Budget & Location Budget: 1500€ only for the case. I'm willing to go a bit more if really needed. Location: EU 2. Aim Mostly gaming. 3. Monitors I was planning on getting one of those 24,5" 1080p 144Hz IPS Monitors coming out in a couple of months. Since performance is important to me I don't think 144 Hz and 1440p would work long term on AAA games... 4. Peripherals No need for peripherals. 5. Why are you upgrading? My OCed FX8320 just ain't cutting it anymore. My idea: I already did some researching and I'm pretty uncertain what to buy. Feel free to correct me. I'm having especially tough time deciding on what GPU and CPU to buy. I definitely want a silent PC and the components should have good build quality. RGB is not important to me. 1. CPU: Either Ryzen 3800x or Intel i7 9700K. The problem is where I live both CPUs cost the same intel price: https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/6331736_-i7-9700k-intel.html AMD price: https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/6639764_-ryzen-7-3700x-amd.html Since I will be buying aftermarket cooler anyway, the price difference is negligible. I know intel performs better on 1080p but AMD seems more future proof because of the upcoming consoles (not sure on this) and the architecture is newer. 2. GPU: I was kinda sure I wanted to buy RTX 2070 super until I saw 5700 xt. The price difference is HUGE but since I'm building a gaming PC, even if I save 100€ I'm not sure what else should I invest the remaining money. One benchmark I saw gave a slight edge to the 2070 Super. nVidia price https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/ProductCategory/16073F1263426.html AMD price: https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/ProductCategory/16073F1335211.html 3. Aftermarket CPU Cooler: dark rock pro 4 maybe? 4. Motherboard: Depends on the CPU, I'm willing to spend around 200€ on a board. I almost always OC my CPUs but thats not my priority here. 5. RAM: no idea 6. PSU: I guess 600-650W but still haven't made up my mind which one 7. SSD: Samsung 870 EVO 8. Case: Fractal Design Meshify C with added 2 140mm fans. (2x 140 mm fans in front, 1x rear exhaust fan 120 mm and 1x top exhaust 120 mm) Your advice is appreciated! EDIT 1: Typos

Budget (including currency): 1500€ - less would be nicer. Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly for gaming like League, Civilisation 6, Deus Ex, Cyberpunk, Subnautica, Assassins Creed, Skyrim while watching movies and/or social media on a second monitor. Possibly Photo-editing in the future (I got a Mavic 2 zoom and a ton of RAW-format pictures). Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am upgrading because my current pc is from 2012 (Alienware Aurora), and slowly falling apart. I did buy a new SSD and GTX 970 sometime around 2016, so I think I am ready to move on and hopefully use the new system for another 8 years or so. I will need a new monitor as my current second one is failing slowly, so New Monitor -> Main Monitor, Main Monitor -> Second Monitor, Second Monitor -> Trash, other then that I do not need any more peripherals and am looking to buy as soon as possible. For my new monitor I am currently eying either the AOC Gaming 24G2U (144Hz) or the HP Omen 25 - either way I would prefer to not spend more then 250€ on a monitor. I did watch Linus "Early 2020" Guide, so you will recognise some parts. I have the habit of keeping a lot of different files (DnD) on my Pc which is why I opted for a 2TB SSD as I am currently using around 700GB on my current setup (SSD + HDD) and would only go for a 2TB SSD for convenience of having one single disk. But if it would be way cheaper to go 200-500 SSD + 1TB HDD I am open to doing that again. Switching back to PC because Apple pissed me off (Trying to sell 8gb ram + 5400rpm iMac for 1700€) Not a gamer, just a power user who wants stability. Heavy Adobe CC & C4D usage. After buying the computer probably going to play couple of games too but not that hardcore. I want to pay maximum 1500€ for the system. I'm going to buy it in Germany so I'm mostly using the configuration tool of alternate.de https://www.alternate.de/PC/PC-Konfigurator Intel® CoreTM i7-6700 Skylake be quiet! Hi there, I'm about to buy a new PC and have a budget about 1500€/1500$ (I'm living in Germany). I'm not experienced in choosing the right parts, so please comment on my first idea of my new PC: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NXvZMp PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ Micro Center) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($24.89 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($162.89 @ OutletPC) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($91.99 @ SuperBiiz) Storage: OCZ ARC 100 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($84.43 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.40 @ SuperBiiz) Video Card: Asus Radeon R9 Fury 4GB Video Card ($569.99 @ Amazon) Case: NZXT Phantom (White/Red) ATX Full Tower Case ($132.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair RM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($104.74 @ Amazon) Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($16.20 @ SuperBiiz) Total: $1467.50 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-10-27 17:00 EDT-0400 Aim: I want to use it mostly for gaming, also future AAA titles, so it should be optimized for that use. But I sometimes do video editing and work with it, too. I maybe also want to overclock my CPU slightly. Monitors: My main monitor is a 1080p. This is the one I mainly use for gaming. My second one is just an old 1280*1024 and as a third one I sometime use my 1080p TV screen. You see, I don't have a 4k or even a 1440p, so why want this guy 4k gaming?!?!?! I'm planing to buy a 1440p or even a 4k in the near future (if you know a good and cheap one, please let me know ), so I want to have the right hardware for future improvements. Some comments on decisions I made: Why the NZXT Phantom? - Because it looks AWESOME and according to some reviews, it's also practical Why the R9 Fury? - I want to have a Video card that'll also do in the future, but don't want to pay these HUGE amounts like for a Titan. So I think the R9 Fury is for me quite a good choice. The only question I asked myself is, if 4 gigs of Vram will be enough in the future? But I think that in the near future with DirectX12 and so on it'll be possible to double (or just not clone) your Vram with Crossfire, therefore I can just buy a second R9 Fury, if 4 gb won't be enough. But I also think that 4 gb HBM like in the Fury are practically "more" than 4 gigs GDDR5, so the "only" 4 gb won't be that problem. Am I right?? Please correct me, if I made some wrong conclusions or anything like that. Why Skylake? - Because I think it's good to invest in the newest technology, if you want to have your PC for a longer time, isn't it? Why a Optical Drive nobody uses anymore these days ? - I think just 16 bucks are a good investment for these once or twice a year occuring rare situations you need one ;D Questions: 1. Should I go for an i7 for ~100€ more? 2. Is the RAM a good one? I just picked one 3. What about the SSD and HDD? Also just picked some with my favorite amount of GBs 4. And what about the CPU Cooler? Cools it enough for overclocking? 5. Is the motherboard a good choice? Should I add a soundcard or is the sound of itself enough? I have a Sennheiser G4ME ONE (http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-GAME-ONE-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00KK8ZLEC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_147_1/186-6245133-1371550?ie=UTF8&dpID=41g%2B-0zw03L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR152%2C160_&refRID=0AHJKBF6R9Y7HQCJ766H) so quite a good one. 6. Do you think this build will also do in the future? 7. Do you have any improvement suggestions? Espacially in things like possible bottlenecks. I could also go a bit up in the costs, but you know it, lower is better ;D 8. Like the post? Is it good structured? Any information missing?
