Budget (including currency): $1500 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I plan to use this computer primarily for gaming, with titles like Minecraft, Rocket League, Call of Duty, Cyberpunk, and Flight Simulator on my playlist. Additionally, I'm interested in coding, particularly for developing Android applications and creating some simple games. Since this is my first build, I'm aiming to invest in a system that not only meets my current needs but also allows for easy upgrades in the future. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I would appreciate the forum's insights on this setup Could you please help me determine if the components are overkill, insufficient, or simply overpriced for their performance? Any alternative recommendations would also be greatly welcomed. Thank you for your guidance! PC PARTS LINK: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qwR9dH

I am mostly new in the pc space and I am thinking about moving from my console to pc master race. I am looking for good well balanced pc with 2 things in mind, being having a price range of 1600 US$ and be near me "Raleigh" as I don't want to get into the hassle of shipping a pc as I have seen there are many risks of the pc being damaged. I have found 2 good deals till now, if anyone can let me know if I should get this or wait a bit, I would appreciate it. Deal 1: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-supreme-gaming-desktop-intel-core-i9-13900kf-32gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4070-12gb-1tb-ssd-black/6553007.p?skuId=6553007 Deal 2: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypower-slatemesh-gaming-desktop-intel-core-i9-13900kf-32gb-ddr5-rgb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4070-12gb-1tb-nvme-ssd-black/6541528.p?skuId=6541528

Budget (including currency): around 1000-1300 Euros Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming, webbrowing and some programming but i don't really need much for that (java, C, etc) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I just need the PC, I already have a monitor, keyboard, headset and mouse. Currently I'm using a laptop (i7 6700HQ, 970m gpu and 16gb ram) not very good anymore it's like 5-6 years old but it gets the job mostly done...it's not so terrible but I would really want an upgrade (also I'd like to give this laptop to my little brother who currently has no pc so he could play some games or we could play together). Also I already have a 500gb ssd and 1 Tb hdd so I don't need storage. So I've been waiting for a pretty long time to build a new pc and everything is out of stock... Before the new 30 series from nvidia launched the parts I wanted had better prices and were in stock... For examply a ryzen 5 3600 was only 180 euros and now IF it's in stock it sells for 220...the cases i wanted are mostly out of stock and 20 or 30 euros more expensive...and the worst is the gpu. I legit can't find a single gpu whatsoever anywhere. If they are in stock they sell for more than double msrp (for examply a 3060ti would cost 900 euros). However It seems that Ibuypower has gpu's in stock so I could get a ryzen 5 3600, 16gb 3600Mhz ram, 3060ti, 700W bequiet PSU (unfortunately only 80+ bronze) and asRock mobo b450 a pro or something. I remember linus did a secret shopper video and Ibuypower came on top they seem pretty good... The prebuild would cost me 1092 euros and I could also swap some parts on my own. The only things I don't like are the mobo (I would have preferred a b550 from gigabyte or msi or TUF idk) and a 80+ gold PSU. But apart from that the prebuild seems ok... So my question is: should I buy this prebuild for 1100 euros (maybe swap some parts later like mobo and psu...maybe add a different cpu cooler bc I chose the stock cooler to have a cheaper price, then again it's only a r5 3600 so it should be fine) OR wait who knows how many months and build my own pc ?

My goal is a PC with an emphasis on rendering and some gaming in the 1500$ range. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700x L3 / 3.4GHz-3.8GHz / 8 core, 16 threads / 16 MB Cache / AM4 Socket GPU: XFX Radeon RX-RX-480P8DBA6, 8GB, GDDR5, 256 bit, PCI-e3 Motherboard: ASUS Prime B350M-A RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DIMM, DDR4, 3000MHz, CL15, 1.35V, XMP 2.0 Power: Cooler Master B500 V2, 500 W, PFC Active SSD: AMD Radeon R3, 480GB, 2.5'', SATA III I am very paranoid about the compatibility of the parts, please tell me it can work! I don't know how to find a case that will fit, or will just any case fit? Mostly i'm stumped on the cooling - Do i need to get a separate fan for the CPU, GPU and the back of the case? And if i also want to overclock to 3.8? I have 325$ left at my disposal, Thanks in advance!

I build it for gaming + content creating. My initial aim was around 1500$ but then I thought that pc is the thing that will pay itself off after while. P.c. Didn't choose display and keyboard yet so I'll be grateful if you help me with those to. It'll leave me around 200 bucks for Display and keyboard Please , rate my build . 1) Is there better options for specific components? 2)for how long I wouldn't need any upgrades? (I've already made such topic before and this is second one. i count all advices and tried to make it more balanced) https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Timberjack/saved/vgPwVn

Hi there, I'm about to buy a new PC and have a budget about 1500€/1500$ (I'm living in Germany). I'm not experienced in choosing the right parts, so please comment on my first idea of my new PC: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NXvZMp PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ Micro Center) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($24.89 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($162.89 @ OutletPC) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($91.99 @ SuperBiiz) Storage: OCZ ARC 100 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($84.43 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.40 @ SuperBiiz) Video Card: Asus Radeon R9 Fury 4GB Video Card ($569.99 @ Amazon) Case: NZXT Phantom (White/Red) ATX Full Tower Case ($132.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair RM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($104.74 @ Amazon) Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($16.20 @ SuperBiiz) Total: $1467.50 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-10-27 17:00 EDT-0400 Aim: I want to use it mostly for gaming, also future AAA titles, so it should be optimized for that use. But I sometimes do video editing and work with it, too. I maybe also want to overclock my CPU slightly. Monitors: My main monitor is a 1080p. This is the one I mainly use for gaming. My second one is just an old 1280*1024 and as a third one I sometime use my 1080p TV screen. You see, I don't have a 4k or even a 1440p, so why want this guy 4k gaming?!?!?! I'm planing to buy a 1440p or even a 4k in the near future (if you know a good and cheap one, please let me know ), so I want to have the right hardware for future improvements. Some comments on decisions I made: Why the NZXT Phantom? - Because it looks AWESOME and according to some reviews, it's also practical Why the R9 Fury? - I want to have a Video card that'll also do in the future, but don't want to pay these HUGE amounts like for a Titan. So I think the R9 Fury is for me quite a good choice. The only question I asked myself is, if 4 gigs of Vram will be enough in the future? But I think that in the near future with DirectX12 and so on it'll be possible to double (or just not clone) your Vram with Crossfire, therefore I can just buy a second R9 Fury, if 4 gb won't be enough. But I also think that 4 gb HBM like in the Fury are practically "more" than 4 gigs GDDR5, so the "only" 4 gb won't be that problem. Am I right?? Please correct me, if I made some wrong conclusions or anything like that. Why Skylake? - Because I think it's good to invest in the newest technology, if you want to have your PC for a longer time, isn't it? Why a Optical Drive nobody uses anymore these days ? - I think just 16 bucks are a good investment for these once or twice a year occuring rare situations you need one ;D Questions: 1. Should I go for an i7 for ~100€ more? 2. Is the RAM a good one? I just picked one 3. What about the SSD and HDD? Also just picked some with my favorite amount of GBs 4. And what about the CPU Cooler? Cools it enough for overclocking? 5. Is the motherboard a good choice? Should I add a soundcard or is the sound of itself enough? I have a Sennheiser G4ME ONE (http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-GAME-ONE-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00KK8ZLEC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_147_1/186-6245133-1371550?ie=UTF8&dpID=41g%2B-0zw03L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR152%2C160_&refRID=0AHJKBF6R9Y7HQCJ766H) so quite a good one. 6. Do you think this build will also do in the future? 7. Do you have any improvement suggestions? Espacially in things like possible bottlenecks. I could also go a bit up in the costs, but you know it, lower is better ;D 8. Like the post? Is it good structured? Any information missing?

Hello forum. I'm not new to PC building or specing but I am new to building "expensive" ones and i need some help. I have 1500$ to spend on the tower itself no peripherals or OS key. I need just 1tb harddrive and 500gb ssd. I am going for Raw gaming horsepower. And i'm not sure if ddr4 is worth it yet since its so new and expensive. if possible a close loop water cooler and an i7. and I am going for a red/black color scheme. any input is welcome! Thank you!

Hi! So, I'v been working/playing games on a notebook for about 2 years, and it no longer fits my needs. So, I've been planning my build and first, I thought that 800$ would be enough, but I have realized that it's impossible for what I want, so, please, help me. 1.Budget & Location I live in Portugal (so the pieces need to be from Amazon) and I can't spend more than 1500$ on the build. 2.Aim I'm going to be using the PC for school, gaming, 3D rendering, (maybe video rendering) and coding. 3.Monitors I need one 24" 60Hz monitor on the build and I will be adding one or two later. I'd like to get the BenQ Gaming Monitor RL2455HM but I'm open to opinions. 4. Peripherals I need one mouse (would prefer the Razer Death Adder 2013, but open to suggestions) and a Mechanical MX Blue keyboard. 5. Why am I upgrading? Already said, my current notebook doesn't do the job. Extra stuff Case has to be the Corsair 300R Don't care if it is Intel or AMD Would prefer a MSI or ASUS ROG motherboard At least 8GB of RAM If the piece you think is better is not available on Amazon, don't worry, I'll buy it from a local store (but because of EURO-USD things, I would prefer getting all the pieces on Amazon Would prefer water cooling, but don't really care WILL BE OVERCLOCKING Thanks for helping!

So basically my friend asked me to find pro PC specialists(which automatically sent me to the Linus tech tip forums), he wanted me to post his build cause he wasn't sure about the quality. So here i am asking you guys about his build leave the replies as quotes thankyou! here's the link-http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3fS7e (Oh yeah and just so you know this is a gaming build.)

Hey Guys, I'm replacing my 5 year old desktop. This is my second desktop build, the first one is the one I'm replacing. 5 Years ago I wanted to build a simple gaming rig for only 500$, since I didn't have the knowledge to choose my own components, the shop dealer chose the pieces for me. After that I assembled them together and it worked!!!, but now It doesn't work very well anymore and I want to test my experience in computer hardware. Today my parents have granted me a budget of 2000$ to build a new home/main computer (I've also heard about cloud gaming) for my family. I'm planning to do some Video Editing for school and also gaming at high settings on it. I'm only using a 1080p monitor and I don't have any crazy Peripherals. Windows is not included in the price. !!Remember I'm converting USD in SGD!! This is my plan:
