Budget (including currency): 1200 - 1400 euro Country: The Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FPS Shooters like Halo Infinite and Strategy games Other details Mouse and headphones are already there, only need a mechanical keyboard with a pricetag of about 60 euro. Resolution will be 1080p or 1440p depending on what monitor I will buy. Monitor won't be included in the budget but I'll appreciate any recommondations. I already own an older Samsung 60Hz 24 inch monitor, using that as my secondary monitor for my laptop. I have an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with a 1650 and 9th gen i5 for school but games dont run smooth enough for me (Halo Infinite 40 fps on lowest graphics) and I've been dreaming of building a pc myself so that's mainly why I want this build. Also in the part list there are some options I want to choose between or something that's not on the list yet maybe, cant choose between a few options for example the CPU, Case and GPU. So any recommondations of parts that are not in my list are very welcome! And I hope everything is compatible with each other but so far I know it should work, however could anyone check this? Hello this is the first gaming pc that I'm trying to put together. I'm trying to keep it under $1200, if you have advice on better parts and tips feel free to chip in. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/ks6yVY

I may be sounding like a over-cautious newbie(because I am) but I can't help but think that it will break, if I could get some suggestions of what to do that would be great or ever people with past experiences with overclocking. I've heard some dreadful stories about overclocking gone wrong and now I can't help but think if it's worth it or not. Just a bit of background, this is my most recent build...Actually, my first EVER build. So you can see where the caution come from. My parts as followed: Ryzen 1200 with stock cooler, 570, 8GB 3000mhz, 450W, Asrock B350, Maybe it's because I keep thinking the worst scenario, i.e the whole system blows up. Would love to hear some feedback!

i have a ryzen 1200 CPU. I have been able to overclock it to 3.85ghz using 1.35 volts. The issue i am having is when i overclock my CPU it wont post most of the time. I usually have to do a hard restart at least 15 to 20 times before it will post/start up. I know the overclock is stable because I stress tested it using prime 95 for 6 hours without any issues. My ram is also overclocked to 3000 mhz at stock voltage (1.35) and stress tested using windows 7 memtest and memtest 86 till 200% coverage. I also stress tested both using Intel burn test repeated 20 times. Is anyone else having the same issues I am? I want to build a gaming PC this summer and need advice on what parts to buy. My budget for the build is $1000-$1200 CAD for the entire PC not including peripherals or OS. Do I go with a Ryzen cpu? Stick with Intel? What Graphics card is best for what i need? Nvidia vs AMD Things needed: Want to game mainly at 1080p with the latest AAA titles This will be my main computer for everything. (School, Work, Games) something I won't have to upgrade for years. Futureproofing Good I/O Need minimum 500gb storage Bluetooth and Wifi built in if possible. I also want it to look great so possible clear side panel cases. RGB not necessary but always a plus. Quiet PC I can't think of other things right now. Please ask questions if you need more information. Put together on PCpartpicker and send links so I can see them easier. Or just list them out and i'll assemble the builds on the site when I can. Thanks

The Short: What's a better value proposition, the 1300X, or the 1200? I'm definitely going to overclock whatever I get, so it really boils down to gambling on the overclockability of the Ryzen 1200. Do I play it safe with the Ryzen 3 1300X, knowing that the probably higher binning and stock speed of 3.5GHz will make it more certain that I can overclock to 3.9-4.0GHz? Or do I gamble on the Ryzen 3 1200, knowing that reviewers SEEM to be able to get it up to around 3.9-4.0GHz and saving about $30 CAD in the process, but having to deal with a possibly lower quality chip and having to overclock much more from a 3.1GHz base? The Looooong: I've been waffling on how to approach an upgrade to a Ryzen-based system for some time now. Originally I was going to buy a Ryzen 5 1600 because I wanted more than 4 cores while still getting as good a value as I can. It got hard to justify that though, since I'm mostly just gaming on my desktop, and not doing a huge amount of CPU-intensive stuff that really benefits from more cores. Plus, the price of ~$280-300 CAD is a lot of money for too-little need. So, once I started seeing the results of Ryzen 3 benchmarks, I shifted and instead am going to focus on a "Mostly-Gaming" build. The money I save going to a Ryzen 3 processor (~ $100 CAD) can be used to offset getting the X370 motherboard and high-speed RAM that I was angling to get, and it leaves me with more room for a meaningful processor upgrade in the future. I'd be upgrading from an overclocked FX-8320 system with a GTX 970, so even though I'd lose out (sort of) on multi-threaded performance, I'd be gaining a LOT in terms of single-threaded performance, which is still where it's at for gaming anyway.

While watching videos about some budget gaming pc it made me want to get one, so while browsing Facebook marketplace I came across a 25$ Antec 1200 case with the fan. So here's my question, as I'm buying a case from 2008 and not financially available to get some new parts, I was wondering what are the best parts for the computer in the 2008-2010 budget range. I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and hdd with windows 8(which I can soon upgrade to a sdd hopefully. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. Thanks for helping

So, am looking to purchase 5 ~ 7 new systems for my newly opening office, and am looking at Ryzen 3 1200, 2200G and ryzen 5 1400, anything other than them is strictly out of budget as they cost way too much than am willing to pay for 5 ~ 7 systems, especially 2400g and higher up cpu's. Most of the time we'll be working with unity and visual studios, but i'd also like to have them have the ability to play some old games with lan play enabled in our free time (games like dungeon siege 2, Titan Quest, dirt, Age of empires, borderlands, War of the Overlord, Rocket league, Space hulk death wing, paladins, Planetside 2) and similar games @ 720p (Note - not a complete list of games we'll play but some games in my head at the moment) In case of Ryzen 3 1200 and Ryzen 5 1400 i'll get GT 1030 GPU, but i prefer not to add additional expenses, bah what i am saying is i want to know if 2200G is good enough so that i dont need to buy Ryzen 5 1400 + GT 1030, saving some cash on 5 ~ 7 systems as i have other expenses which can use it. Where i live a Ryzen 5 2400G costs - $180 Ryzen 3 1200 costs - $75 Ryzen 5 1400 costs - $134 Ryzen 3 2200G costs - $112 GT 1030 costs - $96 I'd also like to know if A320M boards are good enough for Ryzen 3 1200, Ryzen 5 1400 and 2200G or should i go for B450M for 2200G ? (yea i wont be overclocking any of them) Does ryzen 3 2200G benefits from having dual channel memory? since it uses an integrated GPU ? last but not the least, I dunno how good quadcore cpu's are in this age and time, are they still good for light multiplayer gaming? i mean i will grudgingly go for 2400G if they are not viable but i really rather not, seeing how few the gains are compared to 2200G in games. Note - non of these will be my main rig since i already got an overpowered personal work station. Thank you for the time.

So currently I have 2 spare cpu’s which has brought me to a fork in the road based on the spare hardware I have. I plan to just run discord, music, and stream from this pc I already have a spare psu and hdd I’m going to use. Also a spare zotac 1050 I’m going to use. route 1: I have a spare i5-4590 which I have a motherboard for already. GIGABYTE GA-H81M-H LGA 1150. I also have a 2 spare ddr3 dimms but unfortunately they are mismatching dimms one is 4 gb one is 8 gb. I only have an old oem cooler for this one so I’d have to get one. route 2: Spare Ryzen 3 1200. I do have a cooler for this guy, but I have no mobo or spare ddr4 dims. Plan to use this case: MasterBox Q300L mATX Case w/ Magnetic Design Dust Filter, Transparent Acrylic Side Panel, Air Flow Performance by Cooler Master http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=11-119-331&ignorebbr=true What do you guys think?

My previous pc got stolen... so now I'm building a new one for around 1200$, I'm fine if it goes a little above 1200, definitely not above 1250$. I haven't kept up with computers lately so i havn't a clue about what to get for parts. I'm running 1 monitor at 1440p, 144 hz , 1 ms GTG , g sync compatible. I'd also prefer to run a non-stock air cooler, and lots of rgb. oh and I will be using this to play games and stream. I already have peripherals also, and I need windows os. as for storage I'd like something like 2 tb of space not hdd.

1. Budget & Location I'm Planning a US $1200 build, but I'm fine going a little over 2. Aim I want the best gaming experience I can get for $1200, also I'm highly interested in RTX 3. Monitors I currently have three 1680x1050 60Hz monitors. I would like to upgrade them in the future to an unspecified higher resolution(probably not 4k because it's too expensive) and 144Hz (I'm not including this cost in the $1200) 4. Peripherals I plan on getting VR in the future (not included in the $1200) 5. Why are you upgrading? My current rig runs on a GTX 750 TI and isn't bad, but doesn't have the power I'm looking for I ended up changing a lot of my parts to be based off the Game Now build in The Perfect DIY Gaming PC - Early 2020 Buyer's Guide. PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xW9PK4 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($189.99 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4 CPU Cooler ($59.95 @ Amazon) Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard ($104.99 @ B&H) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($74.98 @ Amazon) Storage: Corsair MP510 960 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($154.99 @ Corsair) Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB Video Card ($499.99 @ Best Buy) Power Supply: Corsair CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Corsair) Custom: IC Graphite Thermal Pad (30 X30 mm) ($9.97 @ Amazon) Total: $1154.85 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-01-19 16:11 EST-0500 Questions: How can I figure out if all the parts are compatible with each other, and won't create bottlenecks? Is it worth it to get a after market card, or should I stick with NVIDIA one? According to this video, I'd only get a few more fps on average while gaming. (The video didn't include thermals or anything) How do I decide which one to get as I couldn't find benchmarks for all of them? Are their any problems that more experienced eyes can see? Do you have any suggestions on cases? A black and red theme would be preferable, but not necessary Unless there is a reason to get a more expensive one I would prefer a cheaper one I'm neutral to RGB Are there better / equivalent parts that are cheaper? Are there significantly better parts for a little extra? Is there anything I need to add to this post? Did I post this in the correct place?

Budget (including currency): $1,200 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:COD Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I want to build a pc, pretty new to pc building so I only know the basics. I have no peripherals and no preference, just want a good quality pc that can run COD at 100+ fps.

hi can anyone help me oc my cpu even further than i have already acheived. this my my ryzen master screen shot. Max heat so far is 47c

My pcpartpicker was showing errors regarding bios updates with the Ryzen 3 2200g and the b350m pro vdh motherboard by msi I asked what I should do and some people recommended to go with the older 1200. If i did this would I notice a performance drop (aside from the integrated graphics) compared to the 2200g. I would be pairing this with a gta 1050ti
-
So I just bought the msi B350 pro vdh and Ryzen 1200 and i wanted to overclock I used Ryzen master first to check stability before finalizing it in the bios. I got it to 3.8ghz with 1.35v but when I applied in bios I got no signal to my monitor and it took me like 2 hours just to reset to cmos now I’m scared to overclock again because I’m scared next time it’ll be permanent. What do you guys suggest I’ve tried going down in frequency but it all seems to fail. Only OC Genie works but that’s only 3.3 ghz. I know this processor is capable of atleast 3.7 did I just get really un lucky or am I making a mistake I only changed cpu ratio and core voltage in the bios. Please help, thanks.
-
so i just upgraded my cpu to 1600x in stock. What temps should i expect to see. currently i have idle 30-35c with max load of 43 while playing fortnite. I dont remember where i got a peak of 53c

I got an am4 mobo and ryzen3 1200. What can be my best CPU upgrade? I need good single core performance. Thoughts? thanks
-
I am building a new PC and would like to know what can be cheapened...I need the GPU and SSHD as the same or higher...the rest of the build can be edited to convience.I would be using the pC for content creation and light mine-ing(NiceHash).My budget is 20K INR(300 USD).THE BUILD IS WAY ABOVE THAT AND I KNOW THAT. https://in.pcpartpicker.com/list/DgXgsZ -Build link SIde-note:Many online builds suggest using a GTX 1050 but that is way costly and also I prefer AMD in terms of processor and GPU.
-
I have an AMD Ryzen 1200 paired with a Gigabyte AB350 mobo. 4GB RAM (in dim 1) a gtx 950 (pny factory OC) This build at one time booted, the graphics card was swapped and it now freezes on the bios splash screen. wondering what may be going on here. removing the hard drives does not change anything and I cannot get into either the boot manager or the BIOS. NOTE: there is no information on the computer I need, so if this is as simple as wiping the drives I am okay with that.
