I am looking for a basic laptop, used or new, to use casually to take on-the-go and play games like GTA 5, Fallout: New Vegas, Just Cause 3, Metro:LLR, and other slightly intensive games. I don't plan to use it 24/7 as a replacement of my desktop. I can't seem to find any good deals so I was hoping people over here can help me. So, i've been planning a pc build for quite a while now and I've managed to scrap together a decent-ish build. I'll be using this build for gaming, preferably Esports and a couple triple a titles such as CS:GO, Rocket League, The Crew, GTA V etc at medium - high 60fps. I'll also be using it for video editing, nothing too heavy though. My current phone (a cheapass $100 chinesium Xiaomi Redmi 2) doesn't work with any of the bands used by US carriers (and trust me, I tried), and since I'm moving there for a few years, it's time for me to buy a new one. However, I don't have a lot to spend- $350 is very close to my upper limit. I'll stretch it to $400 if it provides exponentially better value, but not a penny over $400. What I need- Good build quality. I don't do anything fancy on my phone- my foremost requirement is a device that I can count on. This phone needs to be able to take a hit, even without a case (which I do mean to acquire). It also needs to be water-resistant to some degree. I don't intend to swim with it, but if I drop it in a puddle or the shower, it needs to be able to survive that. Good battery life. This thing needs to be able to go through a day with cell data turned on. I don't want to worry about running out of juice, or carry around a battery bank. A good camera (emphasis on video). Since I can't buy both a phone and a camera, my phone's going to be my primary shooter, and while I know there are accessories I can purchase, I need the phone to stand on its own, especially for video. I photograph my travels and think the whole point of a smartphone camera is to be fast, and not waste time composing the shot, which is why I want something that I can trust to get a good shot. As for video, I can tinker a little bit more, but I need something that has good stabilization, and is decent in low light. 4k recording capability is not essential, but it will help produce a cleaner image downsampled to 1080p and give me more crop room. A decent onboard microphone. I'm a musician and I'll be attending music college, so I'll end up recording performances at a moment's notice as well as excerpts from classes and lectures, which are always practical in nature. I will keep a pocket recorder handy if I know I'll need one, but I'd like to be able to rely on the phone's audio capabilities in a pinch. Expandable storage OR at least 64GB of onboard storage. As of now, I use my phone for daily tasks, and store my music library on an old 32GB iPod Touch. I want to consolidate these uses into a single device. Compressed to 128Kb/s, my entire iTunes library of over 9000 (yes, really) songs still takes up 32 GB of storage, and I need some room left over for apps and photos. If the phone supports 4k video recording, I intend to make use of it, which makes 64GB of storage the bare minimum. Bonus points for expandable storage. A bright screen. Simple. I need to be able to read its contents in sunlight. As of now, I'm considering the iPhone SE 64GB. It's got good build quality, is water-resistant to some degree, has a good camera and a decent mic, and iOS comes with iTunes, which will sort my library the same way. However, I despise iOS for several other reasons, and the screen sucks, which is why I'm looking for more suggestions. The Axon 7 is also looking good, given its great screen, speakers, and overall audio capabilities. I can buy the phone once I get to the US, but I'd prefer to buy it here in India. I'm currently looking at different components to build my gaming PC and it tallied everything to these components. I don't have a PSU selected yet I'm just waiting until EVGA has a good deal or when I can find an 80+ certified PSU on Newegg on sale. Note I'm also on a budget of $350 for my gaming PC.(I'm willing to go over the budget for the PSU) Also, I don't have a GPU so is there any cheap and good GPU's out there you can recommend? I ordered my Motherboard, M.2 drive, and the ram for a total of $180. Was it a steal? So, i have a Strict $350 Budget on a gaming computer that is LGA 1151. I wanna hear what you think about my plans for it. Help! I'm not sure if I should switch to PS4 or keep my Xbox One (and maybe get a PC). I want PS4 because: (1) PS4 has better graphics, (2) Rocket League, (3) It's COD and Destiny's preferred platform, (4) I have friends on PS4. I might keep Xbox One because (1) I already have games and Xbox Live on it, (2) Kerbal Space Program, (3) Cities: Skylines, and (4) because I have more friends on Xbox One. I've thought about just getting both, but I can't afford it. I only have $350, so a PC (with 6% tax) would probably be no competition for the PS4 (or the Xbox One, for that matter); also, the (all-in-one with an Intel Pentium G2030T) PC I already have can play a lot of the games I want to play, with the exception of Rocket League, Cities: Skylines, and Kerbal Space Program. I have $350, and I'm not sure what to do with it. Should I get a new keyboard, mouse, and (Xbox One & Steam) games; or should I get a new PC (my current PC is an all-in-one with an Intel Pentium G2030T)? My absolute highest budget for the PC is around $580, but I don't know if I'll be able to spend that much. Thanks!

So I have already put a build together and I was wondering if there is a way to get a better performance for cheaper or a cheaper GPU that will work just as well! or if there is something you recommend me to change. I mainly need it for playing games like League of Legends, CS:GO, L4D2. but I would like it to run games like Skyrim and ARK at 30+ frames and medium to high settings! I do not need the fancy 4k and 1080p stuff (i'm not to sure what 4k means but I don't need it) if you even have a build that will do these things please link it. Alright guys, this is my first post here but I could really use some help here So my friend wanted a new computer and I have built one before, however not that savvy in knowing the best parts available for the money. I have a budget of $350 and need a new computer for her, remember gaming is not the concern at all. She just wants something that is fast, and can handle Facebook and MS Word. So needless to say an SSD is a must. Now the caveat is that, this budget also needs to include a monitor and keyboard/mouse. The monitor can be alright-ish. Even under 1080p will do. The highest I can go for the budget is $400 but if any of you can do it under $350-360 that would be awesome :3 Storage can also be just 500gb as she is not going to store that much data to my knowledge. TL:DR I need a cheap ass comp for $350-400. Basically a work/highschool computer. Needs to be fast. Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse (Can be crap) Thank you guys so much ^-^
