Budget (including currency): $1.500 - $2,000 USD Country: America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Son's of the Forrest, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 5, Far Cry 5, Starfield, + a few new unreal engine 5 games coming out in 2024. (Also school work for High School) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I want to get a 1440p 144hz monitor. I want to stick with an Intel processor and Nvidia GPU unless I am extremely advised against it. I wasn't to use shaders for Minecraft :). I am going to buy it around March.

Budget (including currency): 2000-2500 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Some of everything. I play anything from your typical FPS games to city management games like anno or cities skylines to heavily modded skyrim. My problem is I HAVEN'T been able to play the games I want to play on my current setup, but I want to be able to. Games like Escape from Tarkov, which are quite demanding, are basically impossible for me now. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I recently started encountering issues with my current PC and while I still haven't given up on it, I started doing some preliminary browsing since at some point I DO want to upgrade again. I'm tired of playing at 45 FPS. It shouldn't run that bad but for some reason it's just chugging along and started having some issues with crashing. -Previous PC specs are: Ryzen 5 3600 RTX 2070 Super MPG X570 Gaming Plus 16GB of DDR4 I do not need any peripherals as I still have all of that aside from needing a new headset. I have two monitors: A 1440p Q2711SH and a something something generic 1080p monitor I got off facebook marketplace a long time ago for secondary use. I also have a USB network adapter I use to get WIFI though I don't know if that will be better or worse than integrated WIFI. So I'm looking to play at 1440p for the time being with the best frame rate possible. 4k gaming, while it sounds nice, has never been something I deliberately tried to obtain but with technology improving, who knows. My budget is near the high end as obviously paying less is a good thing, but it would be nice to join the cool kids finally. I made PC Part Picker list based on some early research but some input from smarter people is appreciated. I also didn't include a case yet on the list since I don't know yet how big of a case I will need to fit the 7900 XTX. Anyways, I could use some help making sure I didn't make any glaring mistakes. Or feel free to make your own build in my budget if it makes more sense. Thank you https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GRbNcH

Budget (including currency): 1,50,000 INR Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: vscode, discord, lots of chrome tabs, gaming. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ahmedSidd/saved/77WY99 I'm planning to buy all of the components in this month, except maybe the gpu (due to availability). I'll use a cheap gpu for display output till then. I want to able to play at 1440 120hz+ I was trying to pick a psu from the psu tier list but I can't really seem to find a good power supply which is not out of stock or isn't very expensive even after searching for hours, it would be very helpful if you guys can point out some ps: The prices in PCPP are in INR but converted as PCPP has dropped support for india ans the cx650 (non-m) and rm750x both are out of stock everywhere

Hey guys, i'm looking for a laptop to use for when I go off to the Navy. I currently have a PC build that I cannot take with me when I go off to Naval school. I want to use this laptop for mostly work/gaming and video watching. My budget is $2000 and I want the OS to be Windows

I would like some opinions/tips on my planned pc build. My budget is around 1500 to 2000 USD excluding monitor(s). Im trying to go for a black and white theme. Its mostly going to be used for gaming. I did some research as this is my first build and would prefer a 1080 gpu and i intel i7 6700k cpu as im going to university in a few months and probably wont be able to afford any gpu/cpu upgrades for about 5 years. Planned build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6rw2BP As of monitors i would like to run 1 IPS 1440p 24" and 1 TN 1440p 24" with this rig. Would also appreciate some tips on what monitor(s) to buy, the budget for the monitors are about 350USD each. so is there anything i can change/do better with my planned build? or do you have a completely other rig that you guys think would be better for me?
-
Hello, i am currently about to build a pc and have all the knowledge required but would like to see what systems you guys would put together. Guidelines: - $2500 to $3000 AUD - Parts must be available in Australia - I will be using this as my main Rig, i will be Recording, Streaming and Gaming - Performance over looks - Preferably Blue & Black colour scheme Thanks.

I was wondering (somehow) if it was possible to make a PC for under $2000 that had a Titan XP and an i7-6xxx Processor and at least 8GB RAM. I was stumped. Can somebody help me? (btw it has to have enough power so it can work lol)

So the rules of the contest seem to be: $2000 budget Balance is good but gaming performance is top priority Small form factor is preferred Monitor included but buy your own peripherals You keep the PC you build. Taylor and John had very similar PC's with the GTX 1080 Ti and i7-7700k. Zach got in 3rd place by overspending on peripherals, getting a locked CPU with an expensive motherboard and only have a GTX 1080. This would be my entry. The Silent King ($320) Intel Core i7-7700k ($90) Noctua NH-D14 Cooler ($90) M-ITX Board w/ ac wifi, usb-c & overclock ($750) MSI GTX 1080 Ti ($150) 16 GB DDR4 RAM (3000 MHz) ($40) Intel 120 GB SSD ($50) Fractal Design Nano S ($70) 2TB Seagate Hard Drive ($50) Logitech G602 Mouse ($50) Corsair K55 Keyboard ($20) Be Quiet Pure Wings 2 Fans (x2) The other $300. On some good speakers I guess?

I have been looking for a laptop that I can take with me on the road from time to time. One that is powerful enough to game and do some video editing, but also is decent looking and light enough. I currently have it narrowed down to two. The Alienware 13 R3 with an i7-7700HQ, GTX 1060, and OLED display; and the Gigabyte Aero 15 with i7-7700HQ and GTX 1060. If you want more details on either feel free to look them up. Also willing to hear any other suggestions but am pretty dead set on one of these at the moment. To me, the Alienware might have a smaller screen but the color accuracy of an OLED display is pretty nice, and the ram and ssd's are still upgradeable just like the Aero 15. But the Aero has a slicker design and weighs less. But that is why I am here asking for opinions I guess

hi all, just yesterday I posted a similar thread, basically the best $2000 pc possible. howver things have changed, its now a compition with a few of my friends. $2000 AUD!!!, the best itx console sized gaming rig. he will be mainly gaming so no crazy xeon cpu. he has no current monitor so if you can please put one in the price can be raised two $2300 or so and it needs to be quite (not silent). please remember (this is why the other thread died out) aud so $2000 aud is around $1500 asd all thanks in advance BDunkz

Hey everyone, I am going into my freshman year of engineering college and need a laptop that can suit my needs. I am looking for something that is relatively light, good battery life, good portability, without too much of a downgrade in the power department. I've been looking around the Alienware m15 (2070, i7-8750H, 90WHr battery), Razer blade (2070, i7-8750H, 80WHr battery), as well as Gigabyte Aero 15x9, MSI GS65, and Dell XPS 15. I'm kinda looking at the 2070, i7-8750 sweet spot while being somewhat light weight. If there are others that I should consider please tell me. The other option that I could run with would be going down the eGPU route as I have a 2080TI from my desktop that I could attach to a more lightweight latptop so that I can still get good gaming performance. Would going with an eGPU allow me to choose a more lightweight laptop and get better battery life? Any input would be awesome! TL;DR I want a light laptop with good battery and portability that could give me 1080 144hz high gaming with onboard GPU or with an attached eGPU (2080ti) for about $2000

I want to get a laptop, with decent specs, for a price of $2000 or R30'000 in South Africa. I can buy off amazon and get it shipped here. but there are two main computer sellers in the area. Wootware and Evetech Specs: 1060-1070 Gtx i7.. or Ryzen 7 16Gb DDR4 250Gb SSD & 1TB Harddrive, or just a 500Gb SSD Decent battery life.. 8+ hours, or anywhere in that area. Good screen, 144Hz or 60Hz I havent really ever got a laptop before, but this laptop will have to be carried around a lot, "university" But i also want to use it for heavy gaming and design. I have looked at the msi line up and the Razer blade line up, but nothing jumps out at me, what do you guys think? Thanks Guys!

This was a fun build I did for a friend. It has a beautiful white theme and I overall think it turned out looking great. The case could have been better but looked nice. It has poor airflow and the acrylic is a dust magnet, but hey it looks nice. The all-in-one is sexy and works well. I haven't overclocked it, and I never had any problematic temperatures during stress tests. This rig is mostly used for productivity, being a 3D modeling and rendering powerhouse. I can't wait to see it work with V-Ray support for RTX. https://pcpartpicker.com/b/GPNQzy Component Selection Price CPU Intel - Core i7-8086K 4 GHz 6-Core Processor $438.89 CPU Cooler Deepcool - CAPTAIN 240EX WHITE 153.04 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $130.03 Motherboard MSI - B360 GAMING ARCTIC ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $99.99 Memory Corsair - Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-2666 Memory $249.49 Storage Intel - 545s 512 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $94.90 Seagate - Barracuda 3 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $79.89 Video Card EVGA - GeForce RTX 2080 8 GB XC GAMING Video Card $789.99 Case Deepcool - DUKASE WHV2 ATX Mid Tower Case $53.27 Power Supply EVGA - 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply $77.71 Operating System Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit $124.79 Total: $2138.95

Budget (including currency): $2000 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft Extreme Shaders, Rainbow Six Siege, No Mans Sky, TF2 and more video and imagery software. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc: I am highly considering and wanting at minimum and RTX 2070 super in this build and at least a 6 core processor like the 3600 or the 3600x. I would also prefer going AMD for the processor and also If possible a AIO cooler. If anyone can send me a reply of a parts list that would be greatly appreciate and I would love to get building my new and improved pc. Btw just for back story I am moving from a laptop because all I get is FPS lag and display stutters and how terrible FPS I’ve been lately getting.

Hello, I am building myself a pc for both gaming and for school. I am trying to spec out the best pc for both. For school the only requirement i have is that i can run autodesk and similar programs and for gaming i want a well rounded build that can deliver as much fps as i can at 1080p on an ultrawide monitor at max settings as well as being able to run a vr setup nicely. Here is my part list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xWTrmq. This is my first gaming pc build so any advice on the parts or anything else would be nice Thanks

TLDR: Looking for a quality pre-built desktop with a 1080 Ti 11GB, 512gb NVME boot drive, and thunderbolt 3 connectivity (or room to add a thunderbolt 3 pcie card). Flexible on processor as long as its fast. Budget is around $2000. I am a music producer, graphic artist, and gamer. I was an avid PC builder years ago, but switched to Mac ~6 years ago as their products better suited music production and graphic design. My studio mac is a 27" Late 2014 iMac Retina 5k with a 4.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 32gb 1600MHz DDR3 memory, 512 SSD boot, and AMD Radeon R9 290X video card. It still works great for music production and 80% of the graphic design work I do, but using it for gaming is a different matter. I have bootcamp on it so I can run Win 10, but the graphics card just isn't suitable for modern games. I've also been taking on more and more 3D rendering gigs which take FOREVER. So, its time to snag a dedicated gaming and 3D rendering PC. I grew out of the "build everything myself" phase (mainly got tired of all the tiny cuts on my hands and cramped back) so I just want to buy pre-built. Only snag is both my RAID storage and my sound card are both thunderbolt 2, so I need to make sure there is either thunderbolt 3 included, or an extra slot where I can buy a card and stick it in. I don't need crazy 16 core ryzen or anything, more along the lines of a Intel Core i7 8700K 6-Core 3.7GHz or equivalent. Does anyone have any good recommendations for either systems, or companies that do good pre-built systems? I built one out on Origin but it ended up being around $3,600. Just wondering if there are better priced options anywhere, or if that is just what I'm gonna have to pay?

Looking for people to recommend components for a build that costs between $2000 and $2500. I am upgrading from an older PC and am hoping to be able to use some of the original parts such as: the corsair AX860i power supply, 240GB Kingston SSD, and corsair h100i CPU cooler. I am uncertain if these parts are outdated and should be upgraded or they are fine as is. My intentions for the new computer are completely honorable such as gaming, minor video editing/streaming, and messing around in blender. For gaming I would like to be able to maintain 60+ frames on the highest settings for most modern games in 1440 or 4k (I haven't decided if upgrading to 4k is worth it. My current monitor is an ASUS PB278Q that has a resolution of 2560x1440). When it comes to looks over performance, I am more interested in performance. For instance not everything has to have LED's. As far as the case goes, I would prefer something that can house 140mm fans has good airflow and is moderately quiet. To sum it all up and be frank, I do not know if what I ask for is outlandish for this price so treat the price as rather fluid while still trying to keep to the original parameters. TL:DR $2000-$2500 Looking to build a new PC already have power supply, cpu cooler, and storage SSD. (*maybe read above) Want to game at 60+ max settings on most games, with a resolution of 1440 or higher Performance over looks Do not include price of peripherals Thanks for all the help. This will be the third computer I have built and am still very much a noob.

I am an engineering PhD student whose work involves image processing with MATLAB, and I'm also into casual video editing and 3D modeling in Blender. Naturally, I also like to game a little on the side. I would like to build something that can do it all for under 1900 USD if possible. What do you all think of this build? Is there anywhere I can save money? Do I have any bottlenecks? Is the case super gross? Please give me your two cents on this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7y7rTH

Looking to see if i can improve this build and still keep it under 2000 usd. I already have windows 10 so no need there and i plan on getting a 1 tb ssd ASAP but other than that anything i can do. Also any recommendations on keyboard and mouse combo. And if i get a 4k monitor will i be able to run at 1440 p or some other resolution that wont drop my frame rate as much?
