Hey guys somehow - no matter which file - I want to print, my printer puts the file into the queue and just deletes it from there. I tried to set it as default printer, put it into another USB port but nothing helped. Does anyone know what to do? This problem occures since the latest Win 10 update. Thanks in advance!

I was starting up my computer when everything worked fine. However after I started up a AMD program I got a blue screen. After the pc started up again my mouse and keyboard didn’t work anymore. I tried replugging every cable I could find and resetted my bios (the keyboard and mouse did work in the bios)settings to default with no answer. I came tot this forum asking for help so anything would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, My name is Renaud Morin and I just got my first pay today, and I already know what I want to do with it. I was wondering if you guys could help me building my very own pc. If you could just help me with the parts, it would be very kind. I know your really good in that domain since it's your job ️. I currently live in Canada so if the parts could be in $CAD, it would be appreciated. And my budget is 1500$, willing to pay about 100$ more if necessary. Since I am going to cegep this year in computer programming, it would be useful to have a good one for that, and for a little bit of gaming. I don't need any more monitors, because I already own 2: the first on is an AOC, 4k 28in 60hz, and the second is an ASUS 1080p 24in 60hz. Peripherials side, I don't need any, I have a good mouse, a good keyboard, and a good mic. (good as in good enough for me ) I'm upgrading because my current pc is a laptop, that as almost 5 years old. I've never been able to play top tier games on it, and I want to change that. Finally, thanks for all the help guys! Looking forward to work with you on that project! Renaud.

I am trying to host my own website with WAMP. For it to work I need to change some setting ( which I did ) and do a port forwarding for port : 80. I did , and when I go to check if the port is open it says Port 80 is closed on *My IP*. I tried to do port forwarding for 3306 and 3307 also but still didnt work. I have checked everything and I do have a static IP address on my PC , if i try to connect with localhost the website loads how it should but if i try from another network to connect to my IP this shows up (it is in one of the pictures).

I've had my fair bit of issues with aura sync but most of them resolved by restarting the pc. This time however not, i start up my PC this morning everything goes as normal however i notice my MOBO/Ram lighting is stuttering (lighting was set to comet) and my vga was just static red. So i restart the computer as this usually fixes the problems with aura, but still the same. I fiddle around with the software and notice when i disconected the vga from the aura sync software everything works normal on moba and ram. trough the gpu tweak II app i can control the lighting of the card without any issues. reinstalling aura sync did not help and neither did reseething the graphics card. video-1524833673.mp4

I have already made a post on this but I have made A LOT of changes. "My brother does a lot of work CAD SolidWorks and has a crappy laptop that isn't cutting it anymore. He gave me a 1.5k budget for me to build a pc. Sometimes he will play games with me but, that is not the main concern of this build, I doubt he will get into any serious gaming anytime soon. Besides CAD he doesn't do much other than surfing the web etc. If anyone has thoughts on improvements or anything it would be really appreciated! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bWMxcY" There was a lot of helpful comments and here is my new list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XqwBcY after talking to my brother it was kind of clear that he isn't going to do really high-end work on CAD. I think what I have know is really good but, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has thoughts on improvements or anything!

I'm not sure about the case either it's kind of just a placeholder. If anyone has thoughts on improvements or anything it would be really appreciated! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bWMxcY

Heya, So I've had my VPP755 from Alphacool running for some time now cuz it was working, kinda ^^ The problem I have now and always had with it is that I can't controll it through my BIOS or Asus AI Suite cuz it doesn't show. I have the molex plugged in and the 4pin PWM header. The 4 Pin is connected to my pump header, I tried a normal pwm header as well. I'm thinking it coul be because it doesnt give a pwm signal back, could that be a possibility? It is working, however not controllable. My Mainboard is a "ROG MAXIMUS X HERO (WI-FI AC)" https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-X-HERO-WI-FI-AC/ Here a link to the pump: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/pumpen/alphacool-pumpen/20531/alphacool-eispumpe-vpp755-single-edition Hope y'all can help me out here

Hello, I have a minor problem that my keyboard and mouse does not work when installing Windows 7 on a computer that needs UEFI boot. I have a custom installation and it works via UEFI and I have a keyboard and mouse in USB 2.0. Unfortunately, the motherboard does not have PS2 input. I tried to disable legacy mode USB in Bios / UEFI and still nothing. I am switching back to 7, because 10 of them have annoy me, when a lot of DLL files are missing and even after multiple reinstallations, it throws me 0xc000007b for every 3D application. I tried (NET FW, DX, dll files, ..) but without any positive result, but that's a minor problem. Thanks much for the help. So I got my computer about 1 1/2 years ago and it was the best machine on the block! These days, however, even with the most updated of drivers, I found that watching a YouTube video with the mouse over it for the overlay causes my CPU to shoot up to nearly 40%. And if I full screen the video? Ha. It all but shoots up to the max, so much so, that the system itself crashes to a black screen with a cursor. At first I assumed the black screen thing was due to a virus or something. But I scanned with every scan under the sun, including a rootkit scan and scanning the registry. Nothing malicious found at all. Not even with a boot scan. It happened soon after I bought a Cintiq. So I assumed maybe a faulty driver that came with the art tablet. So I did a system restore back to before I installed the driver. It was after it happened again that I turned to the Task Manager. I began watching a video, and wouldn't you know it? My CPU shot through the roof. The same even happens with a simple little flash game known as AdventurQuest. (Shown performance when playing that game in the image attached.) There was a point that it would do a boot loop and not read the Windows files. I powered it down and thought about it. I removed 1 of my 3 monitors and suddenly it would start booting to Windows again, which is a step up, but now I cannot get this black screen thing to stop and the performance of the CPU is really saddening to look at. I was thinking maybe it's a PSU thing since it would boot loop and power itself off with 3 monitors. I should also note that I have my 2 monitors and my art tablet (Wacom Cintiq 13HD) into my GTX 980 GPU, not the motherboard. What can you guys gather from this? Should I buy a new higher wattage PSU (currently have a Corsair CX750M) and see if that might help? Or should I trash this CPU in favor of a new one of those instead? I kinda want an i7 6700K anyways, but it isn't currently in my budget. I just really need to solve this issue, because I depend on my computer for work. PS: If you want to know ALL of my specs, I have them on my profile!

Hi, so i have been experiencing this for the last couple of days: So what will happen is, i will watch a youtube video and all is good, i will then proceed to watch another youtube video and all hell will break lose. The Windows Audio will suddenly stop working and ill get no clue to whatever the reason is. Therefore the first thing i did was to restart the Windows Audio Service in services and this seems to help, for at least 10 minutes or so, before it will bug down again and i have to restart the service once more. Its not the worst thing to live with, but it is quite annoying. Any help is appreciated!

Hello everyone of Linus Tech! I built my rig in mid 2015 and has the following components; Raidmax Vortex ATX 420-wb case MSI H81M-P33 mini-ATX motherboard Intel Core i7 4790S CPU (liquid cooled with corsair h50) MSI GTX 960 2gb 1TB HHD corsair CX600M power supply 8gb ddr3 1600 RAM *Audio Periferals* Logitech external speakers Turtle Beach Earforce x11 headset okay so Ill make the story short- I had ordered some fans that I needed to install for exhaust (trying out a push/pull orientation). So I popped off the front panel of my case and installed everything A-Okay. Once I booted my computer back up, all of the audio had stopped working. I immediately went to Google and Reddit and read up on some potential problems - my drivers could be messed up... so I uninstalled any existing drivers for my speakers and headphones. Then I threw my motherboard driver disk into my computer and tried reinstalling any RealtechHD audio drivers. no good. My immediate thought after this did not work was that it is a hardware issue. I triple checked my JAUD1 port (the port where I plug in the HDaudio cable that runs from the top of my case down to the lower end of the motherboard. When I looked at the top end (where the chord connects to my case) it had seems as though the prongs were bend downward a little bit. I'm only 20% sure that this could be the problem- HOWEVER I don't think that my computer would recognize audio devices if it were this hardware issue. I have checked my speakers and headphones and everything is fine with those... they were working as of earlier yesterday and now I get zero audio. ***UPDATE*** --> The VU meter next to my speaker fluctuates with sound... meaning that it is detecting sound... but physically there is still no actual sound SOMEONE HELP ME! thank you and all the best, Linus Crew! Hi, i've had my 4690k for a while now. I've had it clocked at 4.6ghz at 1.365v for a while now. But for some reason it doesnt stay there anymore. What i mean is, it cant handel the clock anymore. I have tryed to bump it too 1.367v but i dont dare to go further. I glocked it down too 4.5ghz at 1.3v. I dont understand, just 100hz difference but still so much in voltage. How come it cant run at 4.6 @ 1.365v but at 4.5 it can run at 1.3 ? I've heard u should not go past 1.4v no matter how low ur temps are ? Mine never pass 74*c, even at 1.365v.

I have been using my dual monitor setup for a few months now with two DisplayPort cables without issue. However as of yesterday, I can't get either DisplayPort cable to work on either of my monitors with a GTX 970 and Windows 10. But..I can use DVI and HDMI without issue on both monitors. When I use DVI on one monitor and DP on the other I can see the DP-connected monitor in the Nvidia control from the DVI-connected monitor but when I go to enable it, it automatically disables it.. I'm just getting a no signal image on the DP connected monitor. I have tried downgrading drivers, reinstalling drivers, updating drivers, DDU, you name it. I even did a reinstall of Windows 10 and still the same issue with DisplayPort cables... So I bought a third different DisplayPort cable today in the hopes that something had gone wrong with the other two or something...and still no luck.. I've updated the Bios and rebooted at least a bazillion times and nothing. What to do? Specs: Asus VG248QEs Win 10 4690K 8GB Ram WD Black 1TB Maximus VII Hero GTX 970 AX760i

I'm a really noob programming, I mean that I don't have any idea on what I'm doing but somehow I decided to write a little program just for fun. Since my C's knowledge is just awful because the last time I used something even close was months before, I have no idea why this thingy thing doesn't work. //MRU #include <stdio.h> #include <math.h> int main () { //MRU x=p+v(t-y) double x,p,v,t,y,q,w,e,r,u; printf (" MRU\nIntroduzca los datos\nPresione '0' si no conoce el valor\n\n"); printf ("Distancia final:\n"); scanf ("%d.", &x); printf ("Distancia inicial:\n"); scanf ("%d.", &p); printf ("Velocidad:\n"); scanf ("%d.", &v); printf ("Tiempo final:\n"); scanf ("%d.", &t); printf ("Tiempo inicial:\n"); scanf ("%d.", &y); if (x==0) { q==p+v*(t-y); printf ("La distancia final es %f.",q); } if (p==0) { w==x-v*(t-y); printf ("La distancia inicial es %f.",w); } if (v==0) { e==(x-p)/(t-y); printf ("La velocidad es %f.",e); } if (t==0) { r==(x-p-v*y)/v; printf ("El tiempo final es %f.",r); } if (y==0) { u==(p+v*t-x)/v; printf ("El tiempo inicial es %f.",u); } return 0; } It is on Spanish but feel free to edit it and do whatever you want with the code since it is garbage Thanks

So lately Ive been noticing that some videos dont properly go into fullscreen on chrome. The nav/bookmarks bat at the top, and the windows taskbar at tthe bottom both still remain, leading to black bars on the video. I can get around thtis by pressing f11 and goign into "browser fullscreen" but I dont want to do that every time I fullscreen a video. Will try reinstalling chrome and posting the results.
