Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to run one or more Virtual machines on a computer that all use the same input at the same time. For example, if i had one virtual machine open i would have two cursors (one on the VM, and one on my normal desktop). Could i move both cursors with one mouse at the same time? Same goes for the keyboard. Furthermore, any good guides i should take a look at? I have done some research on the internet, but unfortunately not a lot of success. I want to experiment with running multiple Guild Wars 2 clients, to make farming and my use of time more efficient. I would appreciate any information regarding VM's you know Kind Regards, Vincent

I know this is a bit of a shot in the dark, but perhaps someone may have some insight for this. I have been tasked with creating a front end for an OSD deployment using MDT for Windows 10. They want the front end to create a Zero Touch experience at the physical machine. Orchestrator is currently out of the running due to a lack of subscription for this. A basic webpage with hooks to the MDT database is possible, but each machine needs to be added to a collection for SCCM. Any sysadmins around here tinker with Win 10 deployment yet with some thoughts on how to proceed?

Having problems with the GPU in a new PC build. MSI gaming M7 motherboard, I5 6600, 16g ram, Win 10 64, Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 connected to a 1080p monitor via DVI. Whenever i try to install the drivers through the Nvidia Geforce Experience, I get a message that says the drivers couldn't be installed properly because a restart is needed. I restart the PC and when it boots up, everything on the screen is there but unreadable. When I run Geforce Experience again, I get the same problem. The only solution is to shut the PC down completely then power back up. At that point the screen appears normal but Geforce Experience still says I need new drivers and i can't play any games. Acts like it's running off default windows video drivers. Hardware manager shows an ! mark next to my GPU but says the drivers are up to date. I've removed everything Gigabyte and Nvidia related from the machine, physically removed the GPU, started with on-board graphics to make sure everything was uninstalled, then followed the manuals directions for installing the card from scratch and I get the same results. Any suggestions?

The free utility from security researcher and developer Steve Gibson couldn’t be simpler to use. Run the 81k program and click either “Disable Win10 Upgrade” or “Enable Win10 Upgrade.” Never10 modifies the GWX (Get Windows 10) registry settings to prevent or enable automatic OS upgrading. credits http://lifehacker.com/never10-prevents-windows-7-and-8-1-from-automatically-u-1767969681?utm_campaign=socialflow_lifehacker_facebook&utm_source=lifehacker_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow

I'm staying in a hotel. The laptop is recognizing the network and says it's connected. When I launch Edge, in 10, it should go to the hotels website for me to enter the code. Instead, it says there's no connection. I know there is, i'm connected on another device. I did reset my tcp stack. I have disabled and re-enabled my wi-fi. I even cleared the cache. I'm out of ideas. When running the diagnostics, it says I'm missing one or more network protocols. I use that system at home on my wi-fi network and it functions properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So, as the title says, I can no longer change system language anymore. I bought a new laptop in Japan which came with win 8.1. I had no problem what so ever to completely change the system language to English then. Once I updated to windows 10 I could once again change the language to English no problems, BUT, after aprox 1 month after the update my PC restarted and booted up in 100% Japanese. How come? I've tried every guide there is on the interwebs and I'm no stranger to windows alterations and so on but this one gets the better of me. I've seen some thing about ''single language windows'' flying around but I find this unbelievable since with my win 8.1 and right after the update to win10 there where no problem to change to english. Anyone out here that know what's going on? Can it truly be that MC made it so that I got a trial version of ''windows 10 pro'' that enabled a change of system language just like in it's predecessor but then left me hanging with some outrageous ''single language win10''?! Regards, / Max.

Hi everyone, hope someone can help me on this one. I've got a gtx970 card, used it for 3 months and no problems whatsoever. Problem is, with the new Win10 update, just after rebooting i'm stuck on the login screen which keeps flashing gray and black. Only way to get it to work again is to restore Win 10 and reinstall everything. I think it's a driver compatibility issue between nvidia drivers and Win10, but i can't find any solutions. I tried installing older drivers and it didn't resolve anything, plus, you can't turn off autoupdate on Win10, so i have to restore every 2-3 days. Hope somebody knows how to fix this because it's so fucking annoying.

Headset: HyperX Cloud (original) Audio: Realtek ALC662 OS: Win10 Driver: I updated it just before writing this, issue is unchanged. Volume is set to 100 in the sound control panel with no boost its very low, with 10db boost i get very small and distant hissing in the headphones even when im not supposed to hear noise from the mic. The mic quality and volume isnt even close to either of these tests: https://soundcloud.com/ltt-mic-test/tracks Motherboard issue? Headphones issue?

Hey! I was wondering, is there an option to change the windows 10 logon screen, to a GIF. The GIF would be like 1-2 seconds since my comp sometimes skip that part or pass it in 1 seconds. So if there is an option, the windows logo would disappear from the middle right?

Terve! I'm really feeling like a noob again, but I'll try to do something more helpfull than lying on the floor and crying like a baby. However. I am building a PC for my sister as a replace for her old one. I have a Gigabyte Z170XP SLI with a Core i5 6600k and 16GB of FuryX RAM. When I am starting to install the Operatingsystem (Windows 7 64 Bit) there is the well known: "driver is missing" message. Usually I'd go into the BIOS and set the SATA configuration to "IDE" and not "AHCI" but there is no IDE in the BIOS. I have tried to install drivers from exFAT, NTFS and Fat32 formated USB drives (which did not show up on the driver selection). After that I have tried the installtion off a CD Drive (included driver disk). I might be able to install everything on another machine, but I am alway about to learn what is going wrong. The probelm on the CD/DVD is that it tells me that there are no drivers (when I selected a folder with a driver in it and selected it on the list of the drivers). Does anybody know what I have to do or is it just an other DOA Mainboard? Thanks a lot. Sayonara!

Hello people of LinusTechTips, Please help me if you can. I have an oldish Acer V3-571g laptop from 2012. I'm using windows 10 since august. I have two driver issues so far: - windows keeps installing elantech driver for touch pad. The this here is this driver causes my PC to crash when i close the lid. (this issue I've managed to temporary fix by uninstalling and blocking the driver, but it sometimes comes back). -the second issue, and the worse one, windows updated my LAN driver to version 15.6.1.3 (signed somwhere in august 2015). The problem here is, while regular browsing works, trying to play an online game like hearthstone or Warcraft kills my LAN connection. I have to reset the adapter. Troubleshooting the problem gave me a "gateway not available" message. My fix for this at first was to install the driver from acer's website (the latest, which is from 2012, win7 64bit). Recently after a windows update or something, the new driver creeped up again. Trying to install the old driver gives me a "device could not start, code 10" error. Trying the Broadcom driver from their official website says it's already up to date. Wat do. I don't want to go back to win7.

Hey, So im building my pc soon and i have a Windows 7 Pro OEM Key that im using to install windows then upgrade to 10.I read somewhere that 7 OEM Keys dont like upgrading hardware and disable the OS and you have to call MS to get a new one.I was just wondering if this will be a problem when i upgrade to 10 and want to upgrade hardware or if it just gives you a non-OEM key when you upgrade. Thanks in advance.

I have been using win10 on my desktop since it came out. However since last night, chrome had been acting weird. It keeps crashing and crashing no matter what I do. I tried to uninstall, and later reinstall it , but the results are the same. After I opened it, it will freeze, then it closes itself. What info do I need to provide , in order to let you guys help me troubleshoot it. I tried to search on Google, some ppl suggest that I use 32bit version of chrome instead of 64 bit. I tried, it did not help at all.

Hi everyone, since after the update to 1511 of Windows 10, the notification area icons have always reset their order after order after every reboot. Normally, I would be able to put them in a certain order and it will remembered to be in that order so that the next time I boot up, it will remain in that order. However, after the update, the order kept resetting and because of the OCD in me, everytime I look at the notification tray, I have to drag them back in order. Is there a way to fix this? I'm pretty sure this is a bug. In fact, 3 of the icons remained in their order but everything else (usually 3 other icons) do NOT remain in their order... very strange.

Hey guys! I installed Win10 last night and everything worked as it should. However, when I turned my PC on today, my microphone in my headset didn't work. When I open recording devices from the taskbar, the popup window freezes and isn't accessible. Any tips? In TeamSpeak it says "Microphone Disabled" as well.
