I've been waiting for that day for months. And finally Black Angel became a reality <3 Parts List: (also on PcPartPicker https://pcpartpicker.com/b/mxhqqs) I7-6700K Oc’d to 4.5GHz 1,31V NZXT Kraken X61 (+ Noctua NT-H1) Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 CL16 2400MHz 32GB (2x16GB) Asus GTX1080 STRIX 2x HyperX Savage 240GB in RAID 0 WD Red 3TB EVGA 650GQ V2 NZXT S340 Mods List: NZXT HUE+ LEDs Corsair SP120 PWM & AF140 Quiet Edition Fans Custom Painted: - PCI-E Brackets - SSD Trays - Kraken X61 waterblock mounting ring - Cable Managment Bar - PSU Bracket Wrapped with carbon fibre: - SSDs - Part of GPU backplate - Visible side of the radiator Sleeved cables: - ATX, EPS, 2x PCI-E – Phanteks Black/White (With cable combs) - USB 2.0, HD AUDIO – Bitfenix Alchemy White You can watch TIMELAPSE PC BUILD on my YouTube channel: OKAY, NOW MY EXPERIENCES. Build went nice, even though it took me almost whole day. Why? Well, firstly I removed all of parts to spray paint: - PCI-E Brackets - Power Supply Brackets - SSD Trays - Cable Shroud - NZXT Kraken X61's mounting ring And, when I got to painting which went quite nice BTW, it had to dry for next our, be covered with another layer of paint, and then I had to wait 2 hours till it dried completely. Then I started a job with carbon fibre. I took quite some time to cut out a form of SSDs, but GPU's one went smoothly. So after this modding work I started building a PC itself. Build was really nice and wasn't a problem to do. Only think that was kinda pain in the *** was cable managment; I mean, with all that cable extensions there was much more clutter behind the PSU, coz I had to fit in all length of PSU cables itself and a half of PCI-E extension cables as well. After completing the build I of course plugged in power cord and pressed this magic button. System launched with no problems, I created a RAID 0 aray of my 2 HyperX Savages and installed Windows 10 on it. I also installed all of drivers and software (including CAM for my Kraken and HUE+). I had a problem with Kraken, pump was kinda buzzing/rattling. I searched the net and found out that it should work on full-speed all the time, and problem should be gone. So I put it on 100% with CAM software, and it wasn't really hearable anymore, weird noise was gone, but the fans also were 100% and PC sound like a rocket engine. I had to solve it somehow. I decided to use a molex 12V -> fan adapter, to give the pump full power and RPM. I used the molex splitter provided with NZXT S340 case, but i had to file off a part of it, coz pump had 4PIN connector, molex splitter only 3PIN. This worked out pretty well, I used this power and set CAM to 100%, plugged Kraken radiator fans to motherboard CPUFAN1 & CPUFAN2 headers, set the RPM curves in the BIOS, and finally achieved silent pump, and nicely working fans. But this doesn't change fact that NZXT should have put more work on CAM software, allowing you to set the pump speed manually, and independently of the fans. And the last imperfection I noticed. When I installed ASUS GPU Tweak II with AURA RGB control I had (& still have) problem with setting up white color. The ROG logo on the GPU backplate does reproduce white correctly, on the visible side of the card, where the ROG logo and text is placed, as well as LEDs next to GPU fans, white looks more violetish. It's something that destroys colors theme of the build a bit when I want it to be fully black-white. Anyway, the PC looks sick in some color combos as well. For now it's runnig HUE+ on breathing mode on white, and Kraken, as well as GPU LED's are on fixed mode with red color. That's a really nice combo, but PC looks good also with some green, blue and violet as well. Long story short I'm pretty happy with the build, I've been waiting for so long. Hi All, So this will probably be my most detailed and most important post which I will post on here, ever. I feel like now is around a good time to be planning my most powerful and most expensive build which I will do since there is a lot of new GPU tech out recently which should last people a long time. I won't squish everything into one paragraph because it will scare people away so I will make this as eye/user-friendly as possible. Budget: €800-€1000 (Different variations from cheapest to max budget would be nice) My Location: Ireland (I don't mind paying for shipping once it's from the same company and they ship to Ireland) General System Requirements Needs to last me the next 5/6/7 years. I want all new parts, this computer will be looked after like a child and I do plan on keeping it for a long time to come. Would love a clean white build. Not sure if to go all white with all white LED's or have a hint of another color, which the GPU will probably have a color accent other than white anyway but if anyone has some cool ideas based on their part suggestions, please let me know! I want to look at this computer in 5 years time and still go say to myself; "F**k yeah, this is my PC". The build needs to be portable, I travel way too much than I like and would love to be able to carry this baby with me everywhere, ITX sounds like the way to go but if an M-ATX would be in a compact enough case, I think it would also be fine. Ssssssshhhhhhh, I love quietness, I don't want a helicopter <3 I prefer part quality over aesthetics so please don't put in a €100 case to the build. Keep the extra money where it needs to be. Part Requirements Motherboard will completely depend on whether you think ITX or M-ATX. Of course a Z motherboard if a K-series chip. Would love a fully modular PSU, custom-sleeved cables to match a color scheme. If going with overclocking, would love some water cooling. Storage is not a huge concern. 2TB would be plenty plus an SSD, 240GB would get me by. I mostly work on programming so files are not huge at all, few games installed, movies etc. This is a huge investment for me, I love computers, I use them 24/7 since my main job is computer related. It's also a huge amount of money for me BUT I do not plan on building this computer until Summer 2017, probably around July as I'll have some extra cash by then after the load that will be spent for XMAS >.< As always, please please know I am thankful for every reply I get and please when suggesting parts, explain why, as it's a good thing to understand why a part is being chosen over another <3

I just threw down some cash for a nice build. Most of the components are white, silver, blue, or RGB. This is the case I am using. I really would like to have a Bluray drive in that front external bay. However, I can't for the life of me find a Bluray R/W drive (HD preferred) that comes in white. I could just get a black one and paint it, but I'm not sure on most clean looking method to do that - and it could eventually flake/scratch off. Are there any suppliers out there that have one in white (I've looked pretty hard), and if not, what is the easiest way to mod something like that? Cut plastic? Paint?

Hello! So I have 600 dollars saved up and I was thinking about upgrading my PC. Right now, I am running a 6700k with a 2 GB 960. Im starting to see some performance issues and I want to upgrade to 1440p down the line, so I am looking towards the new 1070ti to be my savior. Then I found this case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072HG3HK2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 I really love the white look of the case, and I would like my graphics card to match. Does anyone know of any 1070ti's that are white that can be sold to the US?

I'm searching for white keyboard with RGB lighting which I can edit through program like Razer Blackwidow Chroma, Corsiar k series etc., but inexpensive. Any chinese keyboard will be good, but most of them can't be configured through program. I found some Ajazz RGB variants, but in my country I can buy only black switch version or I have to order one from china myself and then add symbols on it and spend money for this :\ (I am from Russia, I need russian layout on it) The problem is there's hundrends of different keyboards, but only a couple can be programmable. If you know any companies, that have programm for their keyboards, I will be very thankful. Sorry for my bad English

I am currently in the planning phase of my dream build and I thought I go here to look for advice. My ideal color scheme is White and Purple with small black accents. Here is my current part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mty8Gf . I would prefer to not have to pay like $1000, for a monitor or something like that. I want the best within a decent price. If you have any ideas or suggested part changes let me know. I do plan to spray paint the inside of the case and some of the other components. Thanks! EDIT: My actual current list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Y3g2JV EDIT: I am mainly looking for a cheaper white AM4 motherboard, a better white case with RGB LEDs that is not insanely priced, and better Headphones and Keyboard that are white with purple accents and/or has RGB LEDs.

Hello, My name is Marcus and I have one deep desire that I am unable to satisfy from where I live. Basically I just want the logitech G703 Snow edition but only the black version is sold here in Sweden. I have looked around on a million different sites but none is shipping to Sweden. Now since the white version is sold in the US I was thinking maybe someone from this forum that lives in US is willing to purchase it and send it to me via separate shipping and I will pay you for the mouse, shipping and ofcourse a little extra as a thanks for the help. If you are willing to help me just feel free to email me at marcusohman@hotmail.com and we can discuss prices and contact information. Thanks!

Hello LTT Community! In June, I started the modding of my NZXT S340 tower case that was a bit... underwhelming. Apart from a Razer Chroma sticker in the front and a few LEDs in it I mean. I wanted it to look E P I C so I started improving it... Bit by bit. Get ready for a LOT of images, GIFs and a few talks about each part. So lay back, relax and let's go for a ride. Yup... That's it. ▼ RIG ▼ The first step was to add a backplate to my GPU, I ordered it on V1 Tech and I have to say it's pretty darn sexy. At that time, I was using a Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3 to cool my CPU and it was hiding a large part of that back plate so I moved it to the second PCIe slot and it started to look better already. Summer was hitting hard and airflow was lacking, but some money came in and I bought... Paint. The brand is Liquitex, their paint is made of high quality pigments and I have to admit this is a really good spray paint. I opted for the Cadmium Red tint, the brightest red they had in store. You can find all Liquitex products here I masked my side panel and started cutting of the glorious MSI Dragon I drew... Right off my screen (please don't hit me). It's a long process that requires a lot of elbow grease, and a lot of focus. The whole cutting and peeling process took north of two hours. Here are a few processing steps. All of these steps were carefully monitored by my cat Loki. He's a great assistant. And a hugger. And cute. I LOVE THIS CAT. Painted and dried, I finally peeled the remaining painter's tape and cleaned the small bits of leaked paint. It's a water-based paint so some of the tape crinkled and some paint went under it. Here's the first paint stop I made with a fancy shot, while I was thinking about what to do with the front panel. I kept that Razer sticker during this time. Mmmh... Beasty. Then came August. With more money, I bought fans! YAY AIRFLOW!... Then nay heat, as I moved back to South of France... I hate seeing temps above 50 degrees. I ordered two Corsair SP140 and an NZXT Kraken X42 and got rid of my Dark Rock III. While mounting the watercooling and the newcoming fans, I took of the white metal bar from the inside and painted it red too, leaving the NZXT logo blank for it to stand out. Here are some eye-candy pictures of the inside of the case. Then I figured that my PC was pretty much showcasing two brands: NZXT and MSI. I decided to showcase NZXT a bit more, as the big a*s dragon was already representing MSI quite a lot, the front panel had to balance things up a bit. First things first, I had to create a stencil that would fit the front panel. I measured every bit of the tiny NZXT logo on the front panel and redrew it in AutoCAD. I could've printed the logo but hey, let's save trees. Rocky montage to fast foward 20 minutes of drawing and measuring! YAY Masking and cutting as usual, bla bla bla... Here's the final result and some more sexy photos of the final case! "Browse privately AND securely with Tunne" - Wait I'm not Linus. I hope you guys enjoyed the trip through me improving that boring white case into a glorious red and white showcase... Case. Here's the final rig: CPU: Intel i7-6700K - 4.00 GHz CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X42 GPU: MSI GTX 1060 Armor OC V1 - 6Gb RAM: 2x8 Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX - 2400 MHz MoBo: Asus Z170-A Case: NZXT S340 - Glossy White Case Fans: 2 x Corsair SP140 / 1 x NZXT Aer P 140mm / 1 x NZXT Stock 120mm fan PSU: Cooler Master G650M semi-modular power supply I'll swap the stock 120 exhaust NZXT fan for a Corsair AF120 white LED quiet edition fan by the end of September, and buy CableMod custom sleeved cables! Cheers!

I want to build a PC before I head back to college in the fall. After watching the TechQuickie video on choosing the right PSU, I found myself second guessing whether I should get a 430W 80+ white, or a 450/500W power supply with a bronze rating. PC part picker says the system would consume around 260W. Here is the list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/MindofSamuel/saved/7Fc8dC . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will probably be buying new furniture soon, but I'm not sure if I should go with black or white. Does anyone have a white setup? does the desk reflect your screen a lot? These are just random images I found on google ^^ Pros of white: -dust is almost invisible -clean/modern look -blends in with white walls Pros of black: -less reflections of screens -matches black monitors and dark windows themes -possibly less distracting for gaming? Thanks for your input

Not the biggest fan of the window that's provided with this case so I got some blue perspex and covered up the existing window, needed 3 layers in total to get the shade of blue I was chasing. Photos are in order of: Before, two angles. The panel without perspex. The panel with one layer. The panel with three layers, two angles. The panel with three layers with the sun behind it. The mod fitted. The mod fitted a second angle to compare with earlier. Total cost = 800JPY & about 45 mins. Required tools, tape, straight edge, box-cutters(Stanley knife) & some electrical tape thinly sliced. This is super easy & super good looking -- hope you try it.

I've been thinking of upgrading my current MSI GTX 960 2gb card to an Asus 1060 6gb OC. I'm going to pair it with my MSI Z97 PC Mate and i5 4690k already in my system. Question 1: Will I have any compatibility issues? Question 2: I've heard that my 4690k might bottleneck the 1060. Is this true or is it just a myth? Question 3: How much of a performance boost will I get by upgrading? Thank you

So I spent $400 on new peripherals for my new white setup, and wanted to share some pics here I had limited space on my DIY keyboard tray, and I never used any of the macros or number pad on my K95 RGB, so I decided to get a TKL keyboard that was white. Ducky is one of the best keyboard brands, and they make a white TKL keyboard. Unfortunately it either comes with RGB or no LED, there is no pure white LED option so I had to go with RGB. Also added 0.4mm blue (soft) o-rings to the MX-red switches. I also replaced my MX Master with an MX Master 2s that comes in "light gray" which is basically white. Interestingly enough, the white shell of the keyboard perfectly matches the white shell of the mouse, and the "super light gray" of the keycaps matches the "super light gray" on the surface of the mouse! It's like these two peripherals were made for eachother! Even though the light gray is almost white, it still shows up pretty gray on the camera. The brighter the ambient light is, the whiter they look. It's basically just two different shades of white IMO, I wouldn't really call it gray. I also used white anker micro USB cables for both, and the 'white' cable is also the same shade of 'super light gray' as the mouse and keyboard keys. Overall, an excellent pair of peripherals, great quality for both. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for white peripherals for a white setup. PS - Pics of my new fully-white setup are coming soon!

Hello. I am looking to build a new main system featuring all of the newest amd parts. cpu will be a 1950x cooled with either a 240 or 360 clc at the front, a zenith extreme mobo with dual vega 64 liquid cooled edition cards powered by a 1200w platinum psu. the only question now is case. there's some things that i would like to see: tempered glass eatx mobo support full/super tower if possible. ample space for all the rads (240/360 at front for cpu & 2x 120 on top for vega rads) very few visible cables (options like dark base pro 900 have a lot of open space around the mobo tray, leaving lots of cables visible. basically asking for a solid mobo tray area) white/light in color to help bring out any rgb strip colors much better. although any color will do. if possible, a 90 degree setup to have the gpus standing vertically. although a normal layout will do. price range is $300. i refuse to use thermalfake. any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. i am not picky on time (i'm actually waiting to see if vega 64 lce goes down in price at all). so options that are out of stock now but will be back in stock later are fine with me.
