I'm looking to build a minimalistic white PC with black accents. Any recommendations on the case (with transparent side panel) and mobo? Requests: LGA 1151 socket, at least 1 PCI-E slot, psu shroud, cable management room.

How is everyone doing today? I am making this post in the hopes of getting some advice and feedback for a Gaming PC I am building for my Fiance. To give a bit of feedback on her she is not a PC gamer in the slightest (primarily Xbox and Playstation) but she has shown interest in playing PC games with me. I am wanting to have to theme be either White and Blue or Black and Green (the PC Partpicker build I have made is white and blue). I have already put together everything I am wanting to get in terms of hardware and peripherals in a PC part picker (link below) so I am really just looking for recommendations or advice as it relates to the build. I am looking to stay below $2000 USD for everything except a desk (as you can see this build is around $1500 USD). I am wanting her to have a single monitor and be able to run most triple A games at high to max settings at 60 FPS on a 144 Hz 1080p Monitor. If I have missed anything please just let me know and I will happily answer any and all questions. PC Part Picker Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rcW6KZ

Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum. I want to build a 2000$ Computer! (Monitor, Peripherals, Windoes etc.) Aim: A Build that is completely white, in and put, inside an NZXT 340 case. Everything about this build should be white. I also want Apple peripherals (Keyboard and Mouse). The Build has to seamlessly fit into my office which also follows the white theme. I like the clean look of the Apple peripherals, but dislike Apple Computers, which is why I want this kind of build. It should have an R7 processor (1700 if possible). Thanks for any advice and potential build.

I have the opportunity of choosing between the white and black version of the phantom 530 and I saw and issue from a user on Reddit claiming that the white color started degrading into a yellowish color. I think that the black one looks gloosy but I don't want to spend that kind of money into the white one if that's what's gonna happen in the long run. What are your opinions?

Hi, i was given a Dell Latitude E6520 Laptop and i have noticed after a while of charging it starts blinking white. Once the battery charge hits about 90% the battery light starts blinking White and i did post on the Dell forums but they have not had anyone ask about it. while i was in school today i was forced to use one of the school laptops as they shut the Wi-Fi off for other devices for testing and i noticed that it did it on that laptop as well but the was in the Latitude E6400 series of models. Has anyone seen this happen before and if so what does it mean? i can't find anything online about it and not even the tech at my school has seen it happen before. It does not affect anything in terms of usability. The laptop still works perfectly fine and the battery reports as works perfectly and its health is perfect as well. I have never seen this and am just wondering has anyone else seen this before and what does it mean?

Greetings LTT community, I have a project I am working on in which someone I know wants to change their display configuration. What he has currently are 3 white 32" Spectre monitor/TV's that run at 1080P but the clarity is crap, and the guy is dissatisfied with the way his setup currently is. I mentioned to him that I could probably upgrade his setup by bumping up to a 4K monitor, and now he is ready and roaring for me to come up with a solution because he is complaining about eye strain... Whoever chose these monitors did a poor job of researching their capabilities and so he basically has 3 sh*tty monitors that run his mega super setup. He has indicated that the middle monitor should be the one with the highest resolution and that the monitors to the sides and top won't matter much since his focus would mainly be on the center high resolution one... but it has to fit in between the ones he currently has, AND he wants me to set up a monitor mounting bracket array so that they all float above his glass desk instead of using the legs that they all currently sit on. I've thought about this configuration quite a bit today... I'm not really sure what to do. He is a stickler for his current theme... glass tables, white/silver/gray peripherals, stainless steel and glass towers, and white monitors. Of his 2 stainless steel/glass cases, one hosts a server, and the other hosts a beefy ass setup with 2x GTX 1080's in SLI and some high end i7 cpu. These two GPU's drive his system so that he can edit things with AutoCAD and because of it he is willing to throw another $1000 at a solution here, the challenge is that I have to come up with an elegant solution that works. I spent a couple hours researching all these different monitors, the particular size that he wants is 32" there's no budging there, and the white or silver bezel adds to the difficulty. The market is rather limited for this particular size, a lot of no name brands on the cheaper end (perfect pixel) or some insanely expensive household brands (asus, dell). I thought about getting him into an ultrawide monitor since I truly believe it would really kick ass... but he doesn't want that. I could use some suggestions as I really don't want to choose something that's also going to be crap, I want to be able to give this guy a rock solid solution and any suggestions would go a long way so I don't waste his money either. I hope the diagram doesn't get butchered when I push submit here, but this is the end result of what this guy wants... (1080P) (1080P)( _4K_ )(1080P) -MC

So I havent really posted here before besides the odd comment here or there, a coworker suggested I do a proper build log for my baby. Ive been working on this one in either planning/draw ups or actual building for 2 years roughly (obviously drawn out because money/time). In short the justification for this build's name is it being my favourite character from any video game, Zia from Bastion (not related to the theme ive been calling my PC's that for years, technically this is Zia 4.0). The theme of the build started as a kind of Tracer from Overwatch inspired build early on when it was living in a Fractal R5, beyond that Star Wars VII came out and BB-8 basically made me go... Well thats just it isnt it? So it began, a build on a white and orange (and eventually silver as well) theme, inspired by a small cute droid. Moving forward ill be taking A LOT more photos and also video if I can help it. I have pretty basic painting experience and have built a fair few PC's for either family, friends, the odd client or myself (nearish to 40 in my time over the years). I'll do my best to detail my steps and I will add to this moving forward (probably a post per part format maybemaybe?). Thought it might be a bit of fun List of parts as of current: NZXT S340 Elite White i7 6700k MSI Z170 Gaming Carbon Motherboard 16GB of Kingston (I think?) RAM (getting replaced) GTX 1080Ti (was a 1070) (to be painted watch this space) Corsair H115 GTX (partial painted) 4x Corsair White LED "Mag-Lev" fans (3x 140mm, 1x 120mm) (painted) EVGA 750W G2 Power Supply Samsung 840 and 850 EVO (120GB and 500GB respectively) DIY custom cables from Cablemod WD Red 2TB HDD. Other bits for those that care: Acer X34 3440x1440 Main Monitor Benq 24" 1080p Side Monitor Corsair K70 (painted) Razer Naga Epic Seinheiser Game One Headset Razer Goliathus (or whatever its called) Overwatch Themed Mat If anyone has any questions about methods, materials, details about bits being taken apart etc etc please dont hesitate to ask

I bought a plain old white Cablemod LED strip for my build just a couple months ago, and most of the white LEDs have turned an ugly shade of yellow, making the illumination in the case, while still functional, rather hideous, and I'm going to have to replace it. Wondering if anyone else has had bad experiences with these or did I just get a defective strip? Could it be because I bent it 90 degrees inward to go partially along the bottom and rear of my case? Does anyone know of a completely white 256GB SSD? (can be slightly above or below) Its for a themed build I've been working on thanks for your input!

Needs to be under $20 and I really don't want blue or soft white.

Right now, I have a black Zalman Z9 Neo case and am looking to paint the plastic parts, as the colour difference between the plastic and metal parts annoys me. I want to paint the top panel and the front panel, not the door on the front panel, white - to match the fans in my PC. I have never done anything like this before, and just need some advice on painting. What kind of paint should I use? How many coats should I apply? How much paint will I need? Do I need to sand the plastic then apply primer? Answers to these questions, and any another advice you have, would be greatly appreciated

So I have a Gigabyte GA-Z270 Ultra Gaming motherboard, and it has RGB fusion built in with a 5-pin RGB header on it. I have a LEDMO led strip, well 1m of a 5m roll, plugged into it using an adaptor and it used to be working fine, going all possible colours. However, it has recently stopped working in the way it is intended to... It now only lights up a white / blue colour, and no changing of effects and so forth in the RGB Fusion software has changed this. The LEDs on the motherboard itself work fine, so I have determined it is a problem with the actual header - but I do not see anything immediately wrong with my eyes. I have tried using the strips without the adaptor, I have tried using a different section of the same strip and it is always the same result. It is as if the motherboard cannot control which LEDs are on correctly, as white means they're all on. Is there anything I can do to fix this myself, or is it something I'll have to take up with Gigabyte? Thanks

I hope this counts as a peripheral. I'm looking for a 60" to 72" desk. I would like if the desk also has at least 30" of depth. I would also like the desk to be white. I would also like the desk to not be prone to bending in the middle. Thanks!

Hi guys I built a new PC for a friend, which has the following parts: CPU: i5-7500 GPU: Asus Dual OC RX480 8GB Mobo: Asus B250M-K There's a problem; after about 3 minutes of launching a game (overwatch, rocket league, etc) there's a white screen and the PC needs to be hard reset. Any thoughts on why it's doing this? I'm guessing GPU but what do you guys think? Cheers

Hi, I was looking to tidy up the inside of my PC a bit, and would like to know if any of you know where I can buy a low profile USB 3.0 internal cable that is white. I found what I was looking for, pictured below, but would like to know if anyone knows where I can get a white one of these. Thanks

Hi guys! So... This computer of mine has been a long time in the making. For the past 5 years, I have been dreaming up new ways to improve my computer. The first computer I ever had was a Dell 530s. It was a hand-me-down from my parents who had gotten sick and tired of Windows Vista. Link here! https://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Dell-Inspiron-530S-Core-Duo-Desktop-Computer-Refurbished/4239750/product.html SPECS: Core 2 Duo at a WHOPPING two cores, two threads, 1.8 GHz. 4 gigs of DDR2 a 500 GB hard drive Laughable internal graphics So, as a 12 year old kid, I LOVED this thing. I could play minecraft at 30 FPS with all of the optifine settings turned down to the minimum. I was in LOVE. I even added ram, bumped up to 6 gigs and then threw in a cheap radeon HD 6450. About two years later, a friend of mine called me. He had a CPU and GPU for sale for $50 a piece. So... Here comes build no. 2 for a total of $400. SPECS: Core i3 3220, two cores two threads at 3.3 GHz. Radeon HD 6450 Sapphire Vapor-X edition with 1 gig GDDR3 4 gigs DDR3 (Later upgraded to 8 gigs) Recycled HDD from previous PC A DIYPC Solar-M1-R (Man this thing was sweet) Some cheap red EVGA LEDs This was my baby. I could play Skyrim! GTA IV! The whole nine yards. I loved it so much. I could max out my minecraft settings! (This is prior to a lot of large updates that hindered performance) My life was complete. I was "Done" with my computer, or so I thought. Later on, I went to build a computer for my uncle. I built him a system with a quad-core xeon 3123 v3 and a 750ti inside for some VERY light editing. OOPS! I ordered two video cards! I guess he just had to give me the second card as payment. New video card! So that brought my FPS counter up. Now I was having CPU problems! I could play Far Cry 4, because my CPU had 4 threads, but she sure did cry under the pressure. Then... I saw a discount at MicroCenter. I could get $50 off a bundle of a CPU and motherboard! So I began plotting. I decided on a white build with RGB lighting, for maximum color flexibility. I bought the 4690k and a Z97 KRAIT board from MSI. I took it home and slapped a .4 GHz overclock onto my CPU with the stock cooler. Thought I was pretty baller! I could play games... for now. With my mismatched parts; green ram, white board, red case and lights, and blue stock cooler, I decided it was time for the ultimate change. This was a year ago. I went to micro center again... this time with $700. I went HAM! I bought: NZXT H400 (white) 8 GB Hyperx Fury (Black, they didn't have white) Corsair H100i GTX (the RGB version) a GTX 960 G1 Gaming (Black video card with 4 gigs VRAM) Corsair 850m PSU I took them home, and stayed up all night... and finished it. A year later, with a few more minor upgrades (boot SSD, RGB lights, 24-pin extension, etc.) My baby is done. Again. So... Here she is. SPECS: Corsair H440 (white) Core i5 4690k @ 4.8 GHz Corsair H100i GTX Gigabyte Windforce GTX 960 G1 Gaming edition (4 GB) MSI z97 KRAIT edition Toshiba OCZ 250 GB SSD (TLC NAND is a mistake. Buy SLC drives, don't cheap out.) Two generic HDD's, one 500 GB and one 1TB Corsair 850 watt modular PSU I love it. <3 White mist is its name. Please give me any constructive criticism, comments on aesthetics, or comments on as to good/bad choices I made in the past or now. I'm excited to hear!

I need a team of geeks to tell me what I did wrong with this build plan: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/y2YhKZ If you could criticize me for things I did wrong. I'm staying with the SteelSeries black and white plan. If there are things I did wrong here lemme know pls, I think it's a powerful and beautiful build personally.

HI again! So that time has come where me and the better half have come to realise that living with a Thermaltake X9 is fantastic if you live in a mansion!. However, living in a normal home it really is annoying. As much as I love the build, the case, the looks and the time I put into it, I just get annoyed at the fact I can't sit against my desk properly, can't get my knees beneath it either. It also restricts what desk we buy so to that end its gonna be getting stripped out and one of the loops is going into my new build! Step aside Thermaltake X9: and into the ring the INWIN 303! I've been thinking of doing this for a while now and I was going to use the Thermaltake View 21, but they aren't planning a white edition and I really don't want to spray another PC case in November/December (in the house, white speckles everywhere!). The case is obviously much much smaller than the X9 so I will be dropping down to one loop for the GPU, CPU and Mobo VRMS. The basic stuff in the PC is getting transferred over, however I can only fit one of the Mayhems Havocs in the case, which will be in the bottom (very snug!). So my new shopping list (all ordered tonight) is: INWIN 303 White Edition - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/in-win-303-mid-tower-computer-chassis-tempered-glass-window-mitx-matx-atx-usb-30-white Crucial MX300 525GB - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/525gb-crucial-mx300-25-ssd-sata-iii-6gb-s-read-530mb-s-write-510mb-s-92k-83k-iops-retail Alphacool XT45 360mm Crossflow (cosmetic reasons) - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/alphacool-nexxxos-xt45-full-copper-x-flow-360mm-copper-chambers-brass-threads-m3-thread-black Braided Sata Cable - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/cablemod-sata-3-cable-30cm-red EKWB 204mm Res tube - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-res-x3-tube-250-204mm-wc-9am-ek.html EKWB White res cap - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-res-x3-top-white-wc-835-ek.html So that lot will be added to the current: Intel i7 4790k 32gb Kingston Hyper Fury X Asus RoG Z97 Ranger Samsung 256GB XP941 m.2 SSD Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD Palit 1080 Gamerock Premium with EK Block and Backplate Fractal Design Newton R3 1000w (overkill, but it was white for the X9 build and I had SLI) EK Supremecy 1x Mayhems 360mm Havoc (the other + the Alphacool UT 60 240mm will remain in the X9) 1x EK DDC 140 X-res/pump combo - will spray the bottom housing white Now my last point to ponder is whether to go white or red coolant for the loop.....

Hi guys, I saw few intel stock coolers with white fan on top it is white or translucent (bad english). I wonder where can I find it because it is hard to find it even on google and can I put it on 1151 socket and i5 6500 to have good cooling it would be evene better if it beats stock cooler 1151. Thanks!

So I was wondering if anyone new any good white keyboards with white back lighting on amazon.ca or any Canadian websites. I do not mind metal instead of white. Anything under roughly 70 CAD
