Hey, I'm in the mists of buying the final two components for my computer and have found that due to multiple circumstances the memory kit I had intended to buy is out of stock everywhere except Newegg and MemoryC. Unfortunately there are no other kits, by another brand, in the UK that have the same specifications; not sure as to why, perhaps due to shortages etc or that the specs are popular with those who have adopted the Ryzen platform. But I digress, is memoryc.co.uk a legitimate website and has anybody had any experience with them before? Also, how does Newegg's warranty policy work for those shipping internationally? Newegg have given me very conflicting information and after searching around myself I have been unable to resolve at a conclusion. Thank you for the help in advance, Stay safe, Lex.

Hi. I’m looking for some no-code app building software. It needs to have these features: iOS/iPadOS Android Website In-App Purchases Free trial And obviously I would like all of this as cheap as possible. There are so many of them and so many reviews, it’s kind of overwhelming. Any experience with them would also be great. Thanks for any insight.

Hello I am a current 1st year college student in the UK and I have come on here for some feedback on my Web Design Assignment. Don't worry, I'm not going to link to some dodgy free-host, instead just check below for an image attachment of the website because that's it all it is. It's just a simple one page website with nothing too fancy. I more just wanna get feedback on the design and everything like that over like someone telling me that I could've used React or something like that. The assignment specified RAW HTML with no use of something like React or Vue. It's my first website design from scratch and I did it all in about 5-6 hours and I just want to know how it looks. I can put it on a free host if that's what you'd prefer but I cannot upload it to somewhere like Github due to how my assignment works. None of the information on the website is actually true and is all just made up for a made up company that we had to base our assignment off of. Any feedback would be appreciated! Many Thanks P.S. It might help opening the image in a separate tab as it's just a full page screenshot of the website.

So I bought a laptop(legion 5 15 ACHOH) recently, installed windows, drivers and everything needed, so I decided to install some games. BUT, when I wanted to install gta5( have my account on the rockstar platform, not from epic or steam) the web page with the rockstar games launcher download button its not working on any device in my house that is connected via wifi or ethernet, the speeds are good, gigabit, though if I'm entering via mobile data from my phone or via hotspot from my laptop its working. Then, I took the installer thinking that its just the site that's not working from a friend via WeTransfer, installed it but couldn't launch it, because it says that I'm offline...again with hotspot its working. I don't know what's the problem with my network and I thought that someone here had the same issue. I tried the 1.1.1.1 dns also.

If someone could please point me in the right direction i would appreciate it!

As the title says, I'm planning on starting a website to compete with Youtube (as well as spotify, blogger and deviantart. All of those in one website.) I'd like to have a few features available at launch, and I'd like to know if there is pre-existing open-source code for those features. 1. Censor patches On Youtubeb you are instantly demonetized for vulgar content. I'd rather that not be the case, but I also don't want the first thing browsers see is a lot of swearing, and since making a separate censored video for the web-page would waste a lot of space, I'd like to know if there are small size files that can be applied to content as the page loads. For text this at least sounds easy. A simple word library of naughty words, and few strings of code to auto-replace those words with illegible characters. Steam has already done this in their community forums, replacing swearing and slurs with heart emojis. (Not what I would've gone with. I think I'd make the default either a blackout text, of wingdings.) For images, I believe there are already ways of layering multiple image files on top of one another. This could also be used to add things to the base image and have multiple different versions of an image simply by using layers. Not sure how it would affect file sizes though. Video and audio would seem to be a bit trickier. Naturally as a platform that offers both, playing the audio version would just opt out of loading the video portions of the file. This would mean that there would only be the original audio and the censor patch loaded, which might have to be custom made for each video, as ai voice recognition just isn't that good yet. I would also allow uploaders to use either the default bleep, or custom censor sounds, which you can then monetize. Video would ultimately have to compile five or more separate files to play one video: the video, the audio, the video censor, the audio censor, and the subtitles. Again, these patches would have to be pre-made for each video, and could use default graphics like blurring or black rectangles, or custom monetizable censors. How the site actually decides to load these patches should be rather easy. If the user has an account, is logged in, and has censor options set to off, then no censor patch would be applied. To anyone not meeting that criteria, the patch is loaded in with the page. Naturally I'd want to try and have all of this running onsite, however if that's not an option then I'll recommend optimal software for whatever hardware you're using. 2. Monetization Naturally. Just like Youtube I'd like you to be able to monetize your content, either through advertising or through direct payment. I probably won't be using adsense. Instead, I'd like each user and advertiser to choose each other directly. You can message an advertiser and request ro advertise their product, or the advertiser will message you with an offer. This all happens either individually or blanketing across an entire video category. However, you will be prompted to confirm the deal in order for advertisements to show up on your content. And you can diractly monetize through subscriptions, rental periods, or one-time purchases. And these can be applied to content individually or your entire content library. I'll also make it so that you can create group purchases, tying multiple channels' content under a single subscription or purchase. You'll just have to work it out between yourselves in terms of how much of a cut each channel gets. And of courseb you can monetize custom censor sounds and images for your content, as stated in 1. 3. Private servers I'm not some giant multi-billion dollar conapny, so I'll probably use peer-to-peer streaming to distribute content. However I'd like to give users the opportunity to host their own content, either with physical servers or a subscription to publically available server companies. And I'd lime to tie that in directly with the site as to just how you decide to distribute your content. And if you are paying a subscription for servers, you can set ypur channel to automatically subtract that cost from your monthly earnings. 4. Parent curating app This will probably have to implement later on down the road. We'd probably do most things on an honor system, and getting reported for foul or vulgar content that you didn't report when you originally posted will put the content under review, hiding it from the lower rated areas of the site and probably fining you as punishment for a violation. Ultimately, I'd like to have dedicated applications for all devices for viewersb content creators, and curators who will check each content for a content rating system. As an extension of this, I'd like to have dedicated apps for parents and children so that parents can remotely curate what content their children can see on the site. Simply login both the parents account and child's account on both devices, set which is which, lockout settings using a password, and parents will be able to view content and decide whether or not they want their child seeing that content. I'll also enable parents to share curated content lists. So already rhat makes my proposal very different from youtube. Do you know if this all sounds to be possible (code-wise)

I want to create a little shopping website for a school project. I need to have some products, where I can add them to the shopping cart. I know how to make the products, but I don't know how to make a button where I can add the product to the shopping cart. I also want a shopping cart where I can see the items, delete them. I also need some kind of create profile area, where I can create data, search for data, delete data, and update data. If I want to add my name to a list, then I would need to add it to a list and update the name, delete the name, and search for lastname for example and find the data. I tried finding guides, but everything I found was too complex and had too many things. I don't know if there is any guides to this, but if anyone knows, then I would really appreciate a link or something.

The new forum redesign is great! I know it must have been done log ago, but came to the forum today after 2 long months, and the design feels refreshing, more LTT-esque and the full on black instead of gray theme is super awesome. Not to mention the fonts redesign. (May I know the font, though). Thanks LTT, LMG and all the devs!

So I just figured out that ctrl + a number key goes to the corresponding tab but not knowing that only goes for 1-8. I wanted to try whether 10 would be working, so held control and pressed 10 but ctrl + 0 resets zoom and now I have a black frame around my first tab or more precise around the page that was in the first tab when I did it. Closing the tab doesn't help. Neither does refreshing or restarting chrome. It looks like what you see in the attached image (but around the whole page). Does anyone know how to fix that?

I dug up an old LCD monitor I had that was lying around in my storage room and it's from 2006. I plan on using it as a secondary monitor paired with my laptop and I haven't started her up yet cause the adapter hasn't arrived yet. I searched around to find the specs of this thing and what drivers it supports but I couldn't find any website that offered a useful catalogue of old hardware. I tried using the WB machine as well to look up Lenovo's official site, no results. I just wanted to know if there's a website that lets you search specific old hardware models by their serial nos. or product names because I've got a lot more of old stuff i'd like to know more about lying around...

So, I wanted to create a website for myself, and I did. I made it on google sites, bought a domain from namecheap and everything was going fine. Had some problems but their team helped me fix them. Now a new problem emerged and it was that when I tried to access my website say from a mobile device I couldn't just type "exampl.com"(note this is just an example not the real domain name) and it also didn't work when I wrote "www.example.com". It only works when I type "https://www.example.com". Once it loads on someone's phone browser (I tested this issue on both iPhones and Androids) using "https://www.example.com" , it then works fine if I just try to type it as "exampl.com", or as "www.example.com". I tried fiddling with the dns settings of the domain but nothing seemed to solve it. Note: that "exampl.com", and "www.example.com" work fine if you use a pc browser, even switching to the desktop site on the phone helped. I used both Chrome and Safari and got the same results. PLS help.

Hi all! Let me first off say that i have little to no experience with servers (hardware / software) but i do build and watercool my own PCs. Since i have no idea where to start, i have a small list of things that it should be able to do listed from top to bottom with must haves and nice to haves. ---must haves--- >NAS >being able to install and launch games on the NAS so the PCs in my home will not require any storage other than the bootdrive >Plex server with remote access >2.5gig networking >power efficient (europes prices are hell atm) ---nice to haves--- >hosting a website 24/7 >hosting a e-mailserver >hosting game servers for gmod/csgo/minecraft for up to 12 players So i want to know if i can achieve these requirements, and if so what kind of hardware / software i would need, and how to set it up that way. Informative videos on such topics would be amazing aswell, as i don't even know how to search for my edge case. Thanks! -sell

I m 17 year old, and dont have any income, so paying plan on GoDaddy is a bit challenging for me because If I dont success I will be down good. So 1 day GoDaddy showed me that my domain costs something about 1342$ (There is photo). I m wondering If I can sell it for somewhere that price or what, someone say GoDaddy show less then real value is, and someone say that my domain dont cost more then 20$. My site is Blog, where I post articles about for example "Best macbook 2022" and there are links for amazon affilate. Also I paid Meta Ads, had reach about 3k and 11 Link clicks, 0 of them clicked and bought on my site. I think yesterday I got email from google first for search console, then for google AdSense. From Search Console Team I got like from 1.07.2022 my site is showing on google search, but I cant find it searching up to 10 pages, and in it says average position is 10,7. I will just put photos and you will understand. Thanks www.firebl.com is domain name.

I've setup an old PC I had lying around, sat it next to my router, plugged a monitor and a ethernet cable and set up teamviewer, minecraft server (not sure if this changes anything) and WAMP, I had also tried XAMPP, but I preffered WAMP as it had a more user-friendly interface. I continued installing software to make remote management possible, port forwarding and setting up wordpress and WAMP to work alongside each other. I have made it to then point where I have everything I want, except that I cannot access it unless I am on my home network. What do I do here? I have tried multiple ways to do this - Editing httpd.conf, httpd-vhosts.conf files as the first way, using wordpress plugins and changing wordpress url (not site url - i kept it as http://localhost for ease of access) Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
