Hey so recently my youtube on my Pc is not responsive at all. I have a more than powerful enough setup for this ( i5 6600, gtx 1060 ) and nothing heavy running in the background nor any driver updates which have to be installed. My internet connection is also perfectly fine and fast enough, the videos are playing perfect with good quality but the general youtube interface doesnt react immediately only after a few seconds when wanting to search for something. What is the cause of this problem? Btw. im using firefox if this matters

In the last few weeks Youtube videos are buffering every time a small VR symbol drops down on the video and it makes the video stutter, and it's bloody annoying to say the least.. I have a Asus GL702VM-GC-003T with a GTX 1060, 16GB of RAM and an i5 6700HQ. I do use my laptop for VR and have done for over six months but this is quite a recent thing.

Hello, I was using sony vegas pro 15 for some time and I didn't have any problem with it. Today I installed magic bullet looks and even when I don't use it, I have a small watermark on my video (not the big red X) it's a small square and in it is written "Vegas" I couldn't find anything online. I need help because I have a whole project but I can't use it with the watermark. Here is a picture of it:

The average duration of there videos (and I'm serious) is 4 minutes 20 seconds. There most viewed video is "Intel CPU with AMD Graphics HANDS ON! - Hades Canyon NUC" with 920,000+ views The least viewed video is "SICK Case with RGB Fans for only $159.99!?" with less than 200,000 views The most number of likes they have is from the "Intel CPU with AMD Graphics HANDS ON! - Hades Canyon NUC" video with 39,500+ likes The most disliked video is there "Laptop Full of Mysteries from MSI..." video with 2,900+ dislikes

i am having an issue where my screen will flicker black. it usually happens when changing between you tube videos but will happen occasionally at random spots. i took an on display video using geforce expierience and there is no scrren flicker there. here is that video i then took a video with my phone and you can see it. here is that video. i have no idea what the problem could be. i tried switching the hdmi cord with no success. any suggestions?

hi irecently tried to record my screen with OBS and after finishing i tried to import my vids to sony vega s and didnt work itried othe rprograms and didnt import note:if the answer has any software it must be free if any converter is required it must be able to convert multiple videos offline

Hear me out. When you buy a console it's an ADDITIONAL expense. I'd bet almost anything that you already have a PC or something close. So for example: you already spend 2-600 dollars on whatever PC you already have so if in ADDITION to that you spent $500 (the price of an Xbox One X) you'd be spending ~700-1100 dollars on a PC you'd have a pretty baller PC, one that's significantly better than a $500 PC that LTT just compared to the One X in today's YouTube video. It's not fair to compare a $500 console to a $500 PC. Realistically if you pooled your "Gaming spending money" you'd actually be getting a ~$800 PC, which could easily compete with modern consoles. PLUS there's a bunch of free content on PCs that easily add 100's of dollars in value vs. $60 AAA games. /rant

Hey everyone! Pretty new to all of this so I'm welcome to critique. I'm looking into building a rig for my girlfriend and I. She wants to: game, edit pictures, edit videos, and casual web browsing. For me: gaming, editing videos, doing college homework, running sims for college (like body sims for biology, chemistry, and kinesiology). any recommend specs that you think i should hit for and certain parts? thank you for your time everyone!! Hi all, Im looking for answers from people who make YouTube gaming content preferably but any sound advice would be greatly appreciated! Im all set up to start with my YouTube channel that I've wanted to do for a while now, however with all of the data that goes in to making them I was wondering what people did for storage solutions?? at the moment I only have a 1tb HDD and 250gb boot SSD and when you put together the game recordings, face cam recording, audio recording and then editing files each video will become a monstrous amount of GB. So im just wondering whether people start stacking out HDD in their PC, use external drives as backup or have a mini home network with interchangeable drives? and do you keep all raw files or just the finished product/video editing projects? thanks again for all your help!

So i just posted this yesterday, and one user suggested to switch cables, and so i did..... magically when i put 1st monitors cable into 2nd monitor and vice versa it worked!! at least in the very small test i did. I just turned on my pc today, and the screen tearing is back, still on 1 monitor and still on the same one.... Is my monitor fucked???

is there a video, if not could you do a video on how to archive photos and videos for on a consumer (not prosumer as you guys are) level? i mean how to create a system that works + backup solutions? please don't over complicate it. you could include an overview of how you do it, but i'm more interested on how should someone do it who has loads of pictures from years back and recently a lot of gopro and other footage.... so i just want to keep them organized and have a backup solution to them. if there already is one (a video made by linus), please could someone give me a link to it? thanks.

I have been doing this YouTube thing for over a year and a half now, and have not seen much growth, only about 30 subs. I do notice that my videos aren't up to some people's standards, but I like doing them. It really is hard at my age to make a channel, and gain momentum. I think the key is money and connections. I have neither. I have a group of friends that also have channels, though all are smaller than mine. I want to grow and see something from this. My family is mixed on it, but supports me on it. I do believe that I can grow to be successful to make money, it's not about money, I want to make people happy, though with my view count I am also being doubtful and thinking about quitting. It kinda brings me down that all I want is to make people happy, and according to numbers and analytics, it isn't happening.

Hello guys! I'm new to this forum, however I have asked all over for this and so far no solution has been found! I hope I don't sound silly asking this. I currently have one computer with all of our family videos and pictures on, I access this computer's files through a network shared folder. However I can obviously only access this while on my home network. Is there a way to make all my computers files instantly accessable (able to stream video from). It would be an advantage to be able to gain access to the files from iphones, tablets and laptops when we are on holiday. Willing to spend some money on this! Thanks in advance guys! Regards Ciaran

I currently do not do any work for anyone and wanted to start my own web content. I need help writing the script layout for my videos. I mostly use adobe story to edit and view scripts that I have to fit into the videos that I work on. However since I usually work on animation and small game group trailers and banners I do not know how to write full scripts for my self. I am aiming to produce tutorial for advanced sound users and video uses, such videos include multi-mic/audio setups for the systems, (link here) 3D/2D animation tutorials, (link here) voice overs and voice modulation tutorials and system build logs (build logs will be a later objective). Where I am getting stuck is the introduction and outro segments. I would like to place a "advertisement" for my discord lobby in the start and "sub,like,dislike" segment for the outro. Any help would be grateful.

Hi. About a week ago LTT videos stopped showing up in my sub box, despite the fact that I rarely miss a video from them, so YT had no reason to pull it from me. I also remembered Luke mentioning in a WAN Show episode that he doesnt get the LTT videos either, which suggests this is a common problem. I tried a thing to fix it, and it seemingly worked, but I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence, so I need someone who knows they dont get the videos in the sub box to try it out. 1. On the YT homepage, click the vertical "..." next to the SUBSCRIPTIONS in the side bar, and choose to sort by activity. 2. Open each of the channels that has a number next to it, in a new tab, and then close that tab to reset that activity counter. 3. That's it. Wait for the channel you weren't seeing previously to upload a video and if it does work, please let me know. Hakuna matata.

So this is my first time using the built in video modifying tools of youtube, and I had some thoughts I wanted to share + The video cutting system is great, I can chop out a part of a video that is already uploaded, where previously I would have to reedit the video on my PC and start the upload again This is really useful if you accidentally uploaded a video that shows some personal info or has a mistake Saves a lot of time from rendering and uploading all over again - It's a 10 minute video, and it takes like an hour to process an edit! Seriously! All I did was cut out half a second where some info was shown, and it basically has to re render the entire video for whatever reason or something Now it's been stuck at 90% for the past 15 mins without changing There is some serious room for improvement here, it should be a very little resource consuming job to make a video skip from one position to another and then delete what was in between Clearly youtube has to optimize their code if they expect thousands of content creators to use these features on a daily basis ~ Also another thing I want to see changed/added is the ability of uploading a music file and overlaying it on a video Currently if music gets a copyright claim, you can remove it, but the only thing you can add over the empty space is music from youtube's own music library And some of that music is even copyrighted itself! Your thoughts?

Ok, so for a while now I have been eyeing the idea of being a youtuber. Hell I even have a channel (Savageiste) but I posted just random gameplay vids every couple of months and I have very basic graphics but I plan for that to change. Well here is my summer plan and this is important to this youtube idea first school (yes I'm a high-schooler) ends on June 3rd but grades are due May 31st so past May 31st I literally just have to prove i'm alive but then on June 5th to June 24th I'm busy at camp and then June 26th to July 9th I'm going to be visiting family in Michigan. Then thing smooth a little bit out well from July on I plan doing driver's ed and having a job (nothing decided yet but i'm considering chick-fil-a and yes I live in Texas) and note the most I can work in a day based on Texas Labor Laws (i'm 15) is 8 hours (No earlier than 7am and no later than 10pm) for at most 6 days a week or 48 hours anyways besides my rambling that would allow me time at night to do youtube vids my idea is a gameplay with commentary above that for topical topics (ReviewTechUSA has this format) and i'm thinking of doing Jim Sterling style reviews but without my face. anyways point being good idea? I'm considering doing a sort of pilot thing now in May for a couple of weeks then the real deal in July. Well after my job and with youtube (i'm thinking of doing maybe like ad money (probably won't make much tho) and a patreon) Would you all support that? I mean I can start the pilot thing but I will need some support and subs (not trying to self promote but how else will I spread word of this and I'm primarily asking opinion of the idea)
