  1. I have an i9-9900K running at stock with a 360mm Aorus AIO. I noticed recently when playing games (mainly NFS Heat) that temperatures were sitting between 55C - 65C. I just wanted to know if this is a good temperature range for this CPU while gaming? If this is not the case what would be the recommended to stock temp range for an i9-9900k in a gaming scenario with a high CPU load. Thanks in advance.
  2. Thermals are my bottleneck. So I bought a pre build as didnt want to mess up a build. A Rog ASUS tower - RTX 2060super. ryzen 7, 16gb ram, 256SSD 2 TB HDD. My biggest issue is thermals and data . Whille under load, max settings im hitting 70c plus on both cards regually with settings optimized using nvidea, this can be brought to a more stable 50-60c when turning off certain settings in game or taking side panels off and pointing a desk fan on full wack at the cards. Same in Flight sim, Forza 4, minecraft with shaders, GTA5 (non modded), even the Outer Worlds. Cities skylines casued 85c spike!! I cant modify hardware or install msi afterburner until that warrenty expires. So its window open, fans on and cold fingers. Even so I am concerned and do not wish to push the system for longer stints gaming, for fear of damaging the lifespan of my parts before I can rectify the inadeqaute cooling. Removing side panel works to drop temps but increases dust buildup. My 2nd big issue is every gaming program wants to be on the SSD. Origin, Steam, Xbox, Epic. All needed to be manually moved to the HDD drive, or the SSD constanty spins the HDD looking for data. Im looking at you Rockstar and Epic Launcher. Windows also needed modifying to allow regedit and various shut down commands using shut up 10 to stop windows constantly using data, and updating/sending feedback from programs which needed to be stored on the HDD. My games look amazing however running decent FPS, it just starts to bottleneck after a few hours as temps build :( I just need loads more ram, and water cooling oh and a massive SSD. Then i can play 12 hour sessions without fear of melting my cards! My questions; 1. Is 50c a normal temp for ryzen 7 at idle? Is 70/80c for RTX 2060 causing lifespan damage? 2. Should i be concerned about the length of time I am allowing the temps to sit this high during gaming sessions? 3. Will removing the side panel for better airflow just lead to a quicker dust buildup that impacts my cooling? 4. In order to have an effiecent quiet gaming machine that I can hear my self think over, is water cooling my only choice? Thanks for reading! Get Native
  3. TLDR; Graphics Card's fan stopped spinning one day, and either doesn't spin at all, or starts spinning and start up only to stop again after a short while. What could be the issue, the graphics card or the Power Supply or the Motherboard? I got a MSI GTX 1650 Aero ITX and its not like one of those cards whose fans only start spinning after a certain temperature, it always spins. and they were spinning, but recently I noticed that whenever I run a game (eg Rocket League) my temperatures was going really high(84-85C) but when I restarted the game it was fine again(70C), this happened a couple times, but one day, even after restarting the game and the PC, the temps didn't stabilise, and that's when I checked the fan and it wasn't spinning. I rebooted the PC again, removed the graphics card and plugged it in again, and it either did not spin at all, or started spinning when the PC started but stopped automatically in like 2-5 mins time. The PC was built only a month agao and all the parts are new. I haven't tinkered with the fan curves, they are the default, I haven't done any kind of overclocking, my Power Supply is Corsair CV450, which is well above the 300 watts recommendation in the graphics card box. But I am not sure if this is just the Graphics Card fan that's faulty or is it something with the Power Supply or motherboard. Spoke with the service center, and they told me that I will have to do the testing to determine which part is at fault here, but I don't have any PC or know any friends personally who have a PC. So, if anyone can say what they think the issue might be, it would help me a lot. Thanks.
  4. So last month I bought a laptop called Dell G5 SE 5505 with a Ryzen 5 4600h and a Rx5600m graphics card, (Dave2D reviewed the laptop and said the graphics card is faster than an RX2060, most reviews from reputable sources weren't has as negative as they should have been) but this laptop has had only problems since release, partly due to dell and partly due to windows, so the issues I have are faced by a significant amount of people, these issues include over heating of laptop (I know gaming laptops run hot but not this hot), bad drivers, a monstrosity called smartshift which causes the CPU to thermal throttle and GPU to power throttle and bad SSDs which get so hot that they crash the system. What does dell do? they release a bios update which doesn't help much for thermals but under-clocks the GPU so heavily that it performs like a gtx1650, when you reach out to dell support they force you to reinstall windows and install that slow shitty bios, they send an older version of AMD radeon driver so that every damn time windows updates our driver is downgraded (older version gets installed without consent) you can't turn off SMT even if you want to and guess what this laptop is now under "long term support only" that is they wont release any bios update to fix all the shit they did. The biggest problem is bad engineering, the heat sink is so poorly engineered that it doesn't dissipate heat effectively and bad thermal paste application doesn't help either. (You can verify this stuff for others too if you check the subreddit r/DELLG5SE) for the past month it hasn't been gaming but troubleshooting for my free time, when I contact dell support most of the times they ask me to the same goddamn thing again and again, Why TF should I need to turn off turbo boost in the first place!!! When I try to game right now, my GPU is always bottlenecked, not due to heat (new thermal paste helped with the GPU at least) but with power because smartshift somehow decides that that specific game needs CPU to be faster even when it is over heating so it takes power from GPU and shoves it to the CPU causing even greater thermal problems. DONT buy the Dell G5SE
  5. When i google everyone sais that its the coolant temp BUT NO I HAVE THE CPU PAKAGE TEMP AND ITS WRONG. Because of this my cpu is sitting at 75 degres as you can see. Pleas help i wanna un-retard my cpu cooler.
  6. I used to sense some sort of "burning smell" from my laptop. I thought this was due to some burning of dust/wood as it is kept on a wooden table. But today I checked the temps and these are the results. Are these "okay" and "safe". Its more than 1-2 years since I am getting this smell I have also replaced my thermal sensor as it got broken. Task manager: (Two chrome tabs (towardsdatascience.com) are using most of the cpu resources ) ofc they vary from 40- 80%
  7. I'm pretty happy with this chip. Good enough to play some light games with friends. I wanted to know how far I can safely push the temperature of this chip. At stock, the CPU only thermal throttled at 94C. I felt that was a little too high, so I used a third-party app called, "AMD APU Tuning Utility" to change power and thermal limits. Now, it stays at a steady ~88C. I wasn't comfortable increasing the thermal limits until I knew it was safe to do so. How far can I push this chip's temperature without sustaining long-term damage? I plan to be using this thing for at least the next 3-4 years. I only game for about an hour at a time, if that matters.
  8. Hey guys, So my PC has always had bad thermals, and I've tried different fixes but I still cannot figure out why my GPU is always reaching the dreaded 83-84 deg C hell cap! It's worth noting that my CPU temps are absolutely amazing and my cooler is doing a great job. In short, here's my hardware so you can imagine the picture: - CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X with a Noctua NH-D15S - GPU: GTX 1080 Ti (recently repasted and cleaned) - Board: My PC was a prebuilt that I salvaged, so the mobo is actually the stock that comes with the Asus GA15DH - Case: Corsair Carbide 275R (pretty roomy) - Fans: 2 intake in the front, 1 exhaust on top, and 1 exhaust in the back. Not PWM, very normal basic fans but they spin! (no dust in intakes/exhausts) It is also worth noting that the motherboard is pretty small, and the CPU cooler almost sits on the board as shown in the pic attached. I have a theory that maybe if I get a bigger mobo my thermals would be better? Would love to hear thoughts from accross the comunity!
  9. Hello Got a 5900X 2 days ago, bought it on a whim to replace a 3900X.. But well ain't the point But I'm lost with its thermals on FH5... CPU is undervolted by 20 "points" in BIOS OC, as it was unstable with lower settings My AIO is an Alphacool Eisbaer 280mm, "upgraded" with Arctic P14s fans, so a good cooler; however my comp is under my desk in an enclosure (open on the front), which may give a bit worse results than if it were outside With my 3900X, idle temp was 40C, gaming around 55-60C, max temp under load (10 min CB R23 or such) max 72C Now idle is 44C, gaming "usually" around 60-65C, CB R23 benchmark still max 72C (4300MHz all cores)...seems okay for a 5900X, Zen3 CPUs are more "jumpy" than Zen2 But after 20 min playing FH5 CPU tctl/tdie temp hovers between 80C and 85C peak (and 90C on one die), cores max freq very high between 4400 and 4900MHz !! wtf ??? It's the only game where I have these thermals, Is it an issue with the game ?
  10. Quick specs: Mobo MSI Z390A- Pro Inet I7 9700K 3.60 Ghz ADATA RAM 16 Gbs SSD for footing AIO don't who the manufacturer is because iBuypower put their logo and it doesn't tell anything else on it More info on the attached image. So I bought a rig from iBuyPower a couple of years back and it was running great till this week. I'm a VFX artist & video editor so i do have CPU intensive work load. My CPU Cores are basically cooking themselves, and it's not just one, all of them. I'll Attach an image with computer info and specs. no weird sounds or blue screens, or even crashes it just thermal throttles and the performance goes out the window. this is right off the bat after booting up even after letting it cool down all night as the MSI center image displays the socket is still a bit hot but way cooler that the cores on chip. I love computers but when it comes to assembling one and of course maintenance I'm out of scope. so please if anyone has a great idea of how to fix this that would be great. I moved to Mexico so sending it over for RMA or anything of the sort would be a nightmare and i think I'm out warranty already. I moved the computer to a different power outlet and I'm using a PSU that should handle my workload. Clean and reattach fans to the chasis Artic with silver compound thermal paste reapplied AIO sounds like its working but the air coming out the exhaust is still fresh and not hot so i think it could be the pump but the socket being cooler than cores makes me doubt myself. light on the pump turns and on and displays animations but i have no way of getting a read on the pump. The AIO connect directly to the power supply so i switched it to a different outlet just in case that one was defective. I tried under volting the cores but looks like AI on the software is already downing to avoid getting it hotter and if add voltage it just shuts down. So i just reset everything back defaults and let the software do it's thing. clear my temp files and scan for viruses fo a good measure. Vacuum the chasis Mobo Bios was updated. I'll get a new pump but I'm hoping that all i have to do before I call this CPU unusable. if anyone had a similar hiccup or any idea i would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance
  11. Hi guys I am looking to get a custom pc built. I would like to know your thoughts on the "Phanteks PH-EC200AC_BK01 Eclipse P200A Performance Satin Black Mini-ITX Mini Tower Desktop Chassis". I want to hear about your personal experiences with this case based on the following questions: - Is this a good quality PC case/chassis? - Are the thermals great? - Is it noisy? - Is it easily up-gradable/expandable (Fans, motherboard, etc)? - If you had to choose an alternative case/chassis which one and why? I look forward to your feedback's. Thanks and stay safe.
  12. The CPU im running right now is an Intel Core i5 4590 and I finally figured out its issue. Whenever it is hit by ANYTHING, the temps instantly shoot up. Even in a game from like 2005. I have the stock cooler, theres thermal paste on it, and its operating just fine other than the overheating. What is the best thing to do to correct this? I know it can operate so much better than this.
  13. For context This is my PC, where I have a Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super Gaming OC (link here). Note: I have 3 front 140 mm case fans (mesh filters exposed, not covered by metal closure on the case) and 1 140mm case fan in the back. I bought this card 2nd hand late 2019 and have been gaming at 1440p (usually 90 FPS cap) on it since with no problems (other components bought new). Then I joined Nicehash around March this year and started mining at low power (HW info reads 150W) for an average of 10h per day in addition to the gaming. Up until a few days ago, no problems: card runs fine, fans are not too loud even in demanding games (for instance Control with RTX on or Red Dead Redemption 2 no RTX) The problem I bought Kena on PC and played for around 3h sunday night - everything was normal - THEN, the next day, I launched the game again and after a few minutes I noticed my fans are running much much louder than usual. I went into HWinfo and my GPU hotspot temp was approaching 100C and fan speed was 90% I never noticed anything like this before, and I've played some demanding games at 1440p and ran multiple benchmarks over the years: 3DMark TimeSpy, Superposition, etc. Kena has 100% GPU utilization (same as benchmarks I remember doing months ago), but back then I never got these incredibly loud fan noise. I don't remember specifically the GPU hot spot temperatures before: because it was never cause for concern. I also don't remember specifically the usual fan speeds on a benchmark or stress test, but given the noise, I don't think it was anything like this before. So right now, if I launch the game, after like a single minute, hot spot temp is already close to 100C (GPU temp 86C), fans at 94%, power draw is around 250W, which reviews say it's about right for this card. BTW I'm using the default settings for clocks and fans set to auto - I'm not forcing OC. Room temperature is around 25C. Case is well ventilated and exhaust fan doesn't put out warm air if I put my hand in front of it, I feel like it's OK. (for reference with 100% CPU load benchmarks, the air feels definitely very warm coming out the back of the case). Even if I reduce the FPS cap to 65, after around 1h of play I get this: I tried other less demanding games, and if GPU utilization is like 60% or less (as shown by NDIVIA's overlay in game) everything feels normal, like it always has been. For instance I've also been playing Magic Arena and everything seems fine. Other than the temps and fan speed, all seems to be working: I have no crashes, I have no visual artefacts, no blue screens. At idle I have: After closing the game, fans go back down in speed very fast, in a matter of 2-3 seconds Physical inspection I removed the GPU from the case and inspected it. I clean the case every 5 months or so with compressed air cans and such, the GPU was barely dusty to begin with. I don't see anything wrong with the card, the screws around the GPU die were not loose (I tightened them a little bit just to be sure). I suppose the card has always had a slight sag, but doesn't feel like too bad, it's not out of what I'm used to seeing on PCs. I even have, in this case, a makeshift anti-sag piece of plastic that I cut to support the GPU and it's on the case ever since I got it. Questions What the heck is going on? What can the problem be? Did the thermal paste finally and suddenly went bad? Did mining on the card finally damaged it? Should I disassemble the card and replace the thermal paste and thermal pads? What can be done about it? Thanks in advance, if you need more info don't hesitate to ask!
  14. I bought a lightly used MSI GS 65 laptop for $800. RAM: 16 GB CPU: i7-8750H (6 core) Display Size: 15.6 inch Storage Size: 512 GB Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q My computer use as a classroom music teacher is very heavy. So I upgraded to a second SSD (+1TB) and RAM from 16GB to 32GB total (Amazon: Crucial Ballistix 2666 MHz DDR4 DRAM Laptop Gaming Memory Kit 32GB (16GBx2) CL16 BL2K16G26C16S4B) I simultaneously run native 1080p on the laptop and HDMI extend to a 4k monitor for extra screen real estate. Running many high powered apps simultaneously: 1.Reaper DAW, with EQ, compression, reverb, etc fabfilters on dual microphones, and a midi keyboard running virtual piano, through connected audio interface. 2. Zoom 3. Xsplit broadcaster 1080 @ 30fps 4. Brave with multiple tabs open, including google spreadsheets, and youtube video. 5. Tidal music app Problem: Blue screen of Death, with multiple different codes, mostly Memory indicated. 0x000000001 often, but also randomly others. Sometimes when I used to game (cities skylines, which is very heavy RAM usage with mods) and OFTEN, every 20 - 180 minutes BSOD crashes me out. This issue never happened before I upgrade the RAM. Tried solutions: 1) Windows memory diagnostic tool: zero errors 2) Memtest86: zero errors 3) changed XMP settings from profile 2 (default 2400 mHz) to profile 1 (2666 mHz [maximum]) No difference. Since it doesn't crash right away, but once it starts crashing, it does so consistently every 20-40 minutes, sometimes quickly back to back, I am theorizing it could be thermal issues. There's a buzzing sound coming from one of the fans. I hear this is a common problem in this laptop - the glue melts and you have to open it up and scrape some away. But the thermals seem pretty good for a thin and light. Most of the edges have venting and the internal solutions seemed robust when I had opened it to conduct upgrades. Otherwise I guess I'm just running too much stuff off of 6 cores. Or the RAM is bad or somehow incompatible, even though two diagnostic tools found nothing wrong... I don't really know. It's really aggravating to interrupt class at least once per class due to crashing laptop. The entire lesson usually depends upon it. Does anybody have ideas?
  15. Hi! I am looking to purchases some thermal pads for my 1080 G1. How ever I couldn't find any concrete information on what thickens pads should I get. Anyone here knows or have done this replacement? Thank you!
  16. Hey All, I'm having some temp issues with my Nvidia 3070. I'm pretty confident I know the problem and fix, but I wanted to confirm it before I do some unnecessary attempts at fixing it. I noticed with Hardware Info that my GPU Hotspot for my 3070 is significantly hotter than the rest of my GPU. When playing a game, my average temp for the gpu sits around 70-80ish degrees. However, the hot spot is about 30 degrees hotter Celsius (over 100 degrees). Blasting the fans at 100% at best takes the hot spot temperature down about 4ish degrees, even though the average temp can drop 10 degrees on full blast. The hotspot even gets that high when playing a game like Valorant which probably shouldn't be that intensive for the graphics card. My guest guess is that maybe I need to re-do the thermal paste on it and see if that fixes it. Before I do so, do you guys think this could fix the issue, or is it potentially another issue? Thanks y'all, - Aidan

    CPU Temps

So my computer (the one in my signature) is a 10 year and 2 month old business computer and I want to know if changing the thermal paste would be the best way to go considering my max temp is 69 degrees C with light web browsing and the case has lots of airflow and is completely cool. The CPU is an Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.10 GHz Thanks all
  18. Hello LTT community! I posted this question on reddits r/PCMASTERRACE but to no avail. So I figured I would give you guys a shot. A while back ago I was doing some furmark testing and noticed that my 2080 super was thermal throttling at 73 C. I found this sus, as I know it should be higher, but at the time I didn't care because the GPU was in the open and remained fairly lower than that while running most things. However, since then I got a case! Even though I have sufficient air flow through the case, I seem to be hitting the 73C mark now in other apps, so I am forced to care now. I looked in the X1 app for answers as there is a setting to control the thermal throttle limit, however, its set at 88C. I have confirmed that X1 has this setting "applied" too. Still it throttles at 73c. I have made sure everything is updated, did a bit of googling, but unless I missed something, none of these cases seem to apply. Mainly because most are posts focus on being concerned that it's getting that hot or hotter. Anyone have ideas what could be causing this?
  19. Hi all, I have an Acer laptop with a 10th gen I7 4C/8T (10700 mobile version I think (too lazy to open it to check)) with a MX350 GPU. Problem is, it constantly gets super hot. At idle the CPU reaches about 65 degrees and kicks up the fan real hard. I did open the back lid, put on some brand new thermal paste and figured out thare is only one heat pipe for both the CPU and GPU... As it's a laptop only ment for school work and light usage, I thought I couls disable one or two core in the msconfig to help reduce the power draw. The GPU is only used for specific apps and program such as games. So 90% of the time it "idles" at 0% usage (no programs using it). Any thoughts or experience with what I'm trying to do? Thanks
  20. Hello So first of all i have an 9900K former running 5ghz allcore on manual vcore 1,35v llc 6 @ ~80° celcius max on Cinebench R20 on an Asus Maximus XI Extreme with 2x G.Skill Trident Z 16 GB 3600mhz CL16 with 1.2 vccio and 1.2 vccsa Powersupply is Corsair HX 1000 and i have 2 seperated water loops. 1 for CPU and 1 for GPU. Radiators per loop = 2x Nemesis Blackice GTX 560, with an EK D5 240mm RGB res combo. Waterblock CPU= AC XPX Acryl with rgb frame Waterblock GPU= EKWB 1080ti FTW3 Acryl+ BP So i changed my 1080ti to an 6900xt (with an AC GPX Acryl Waterblock) and i changed from push to push pull on all radiators with Noctua AF 140 pwm fans (was only push with noctua ones) Since then my 9900k thermal throttle like hell. Even in stock config 4,7ghz allcore 1,25v reaching around 90° what i tryed: Reapply WLP = no help Reseat Waterblock = no help Changed pressure on Waterblock mounting= no help so then i took a look at the cpu it self= for me it looks like the pcb (exactly where the DIE is) is a little bit "bend" in the direction of the socket. not much but i think it does. than i tryed to lap the IHS a bit (so u cant read 9900k on ihs anymore, wanted to make it more flat) = no help my guess is that cause of the bend the contact to the indium solder is not that great anymore. So what can i do? i thought about deliding, get rid of the indium with liquid metal and than reapply liquid metal to cleaned die and a new copper IHS. or... cause of the solder temp of the smd´s (220° celcius) and the indium solder melting temperature (156,7°) would it be possible to heat the cpu up to the indium solder temp so the indium could regain good contact? What would u do? (Except get rid of it) Thanks in advance for your time and help with this special problem.
  21. When two pieces of metal are lapped (not just sanded) they stick together. And if they stick together, it means they have near-perfect contact between them. Which, in theory, means that lapping both your IHS and cooler well enough can make them able to transfer heat at a much higher rate than thermal paste. In practice, I tried searching for people who actually did this, found an old forum post from 2005, where someone wanted to do it but apparently never got around to it. Found a more recent 2020 YouTube video with someone planning to do it, but they also haven't done it yet. Do you guys have any information on this topic? Has anyone done before/after tests properly? Do temps get lower? Are the thermal paste merchants hiding the truth on purpose? If anyone is brave enough to try, be aware of galvanization occurring between different metals. IHS and cooler also might cold weld together I think. Example of metals sticking:
  22. So, after cleaning my rog strix scar 2 the temps got a little better, but i still get stutters caused by them, and they are VERY annoying, so I decided to go all the way and find a way to disable the thermal treshold. I know it's dangerous etc, but idc anymore at this point, I just want to play well for a bit till my laptop dies. Anyone mind telling me how to disable it?
  23. Hey everyone, I came here hoping to get some help with my build, I built it around 3 months ago, ryzen 5 3500x with a kraken x53 cooler, GPU is a rx 5500 xt gaming x 8gb. I noticed that my idle temps were quite high, at first I noticed it around 39-45 Celcius. (CPU and GPU), sometimes even around 45-55 degrees for the CPU. these are all stock settings for both CPU and GPU. My case is the SSUPD Meshlicious, before that, I had a NZXT h210, same temps, my room is not hot, around 20-26 degrees. With this case I was actually expecting better temps since it has mesh side panels on almost all sides, I have a tempered glass panel for the CPU side since it has an AIO, I tried opening the panel for a bit, no changes. I tried stress tests for both CPU and GPU and highest temps are around 72 so that's good. Fan curve for rad fans is at 100%, pump is at 100% too. running a negative air pressure setup, tried reversing it, same thing. tried replacing thermal paste on the heatsink twice, same thing. all parts were bought no later than april of 2021. Can anyone help? thank you P.S. not sure if I posted this on the right place, kinda new to asking help in forums.
  24. Hiyo! So I got a RTX 3090 ROG STRIX which I was pretty happy with, even though the AVERAGE temps would be around the GPU 60c / MEM JUNCT 65c / HOTSPOT 90c so I thought I could do better with re-applying the thermal paste (Kryonaut) and using better thermal pads (Thermalright). So here's what I did so far, I've re-applied the thermal paste / thermal pads of the RTX 3090, while going in blind and ensuring I measure everything myself and cross-check with what's online (Not that much information since everyone uses different thermal pads) and I've finished and tested a "GAMING" load for 24 hours as I went to sleep, which boosts and idles and doesn't stress test the GPU 100% all the time, so as it would be in a real scenario while playing a game. Now here is something that caught my eyes, is the GPU / Memory / Hotspot MAXIMUM values, they seem to have spiked up to 89c / 82c / 106c respectively, while the AVERAGE are 38c / 46c / 51c during that time as shown in the HWINFO Picture attached. (Keep in mind that is a 24-Hour average reading) Is it too weird to see such a spike to such a high temperature? Would you guys think this was caused by a CPU Temperature spiking at the same time? (Since my Intake Fans are 240mm Radiator for the CPU Cooler - Which is a 5950X AMD CPU - 16Core/32Threads) Or do you think something else is off? TLDR : GPU / MEM / HOTSPOT Before Reapplying : AVERAGE were 60c / 65c / 90c (MAXIMUM were around 85c / 90c / 105c) After Reapplying : AVERAGE are 38c / 46c / 51c (But the weird part was the spike of 89c / 82c / 106c in MAXIMUM which I don't know for how long since I was asleep, but it wasn't long enough obviously since the averages stayed low) Would you say that spike was an anomoly and probably a one off thing, or is it something I need to worry about? (Attached Screenshot is AFTER reapplying everything) Probably worth mentioning, I also did the same for the CPU and repasted it, and that CPU Thermals have improved by around 10c on the MAXIMUM values. Also probably worth noting, that when disassembling the card, I did spot a burned spot on the GPU die itself. (Not the first person to have found such a spot on their ASUS STRIX RTX 3090 Card - RMA not an option now since in order to FIND that, you do remove the sticker voiding warrenty)
  25. Hey Guys, So I Got A Question On Laptop Cooling. A Picture Is Included But I Want To Open My Laptop And Repaste The Whole Thing. So My Question Is: The Laptop Has Some Kind Of Paste On The VRMs And The GPU Memory Chips.. The Videos Say To Use K5 Pro But I Have Never Heard Of It And Dont Trust Brands I Have Never Heard Of. Could I Use Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut On The VRMs Instead? Is There Any Difference Between The Type Of Thermal Paste Used? Thanks For The Help Guys! Asus GA502 Zephyrus G
