Hey, does 2080 Super (Founders) have different PCB than 2080 (Founders) ? Thanks!

Hey guys, Two days ago I build my new PC. With an MSI 2070 Super ventus OC in it. But its not behaving very well. Every now and then when i put load on it, it crashes. No bsod, just a system crash, and my pc starts back up again. It doesnt give me any errors, it just shuts off I know its not the temps because i've never seem it go over 70C really. And it has also crashed the instant i've started a stress test. Through MSI afterburner I've tried to both over and downclock the GPU but to no avail. Right know its back on factory setting where i can run Powermax (gpu stress test) as long as i want, but crashes after 30 seconds of Rainbow six menu. Ill try to give as much info down here; rest of PC; i5-9600k, Msi z390 tomahawk, Samsung nvme 500gb, dark rock pro 4, corsair cx750, corsair vengeance lpx 16gb nvidia driver 431.60 MSI afterburner settings: powerlimit 100%, templimit 83C, coreclock +0, memory clock +0 (factory setting; pretty instable) Right now i thing the base clock goes to 1650mhz and it boosts to about 1860mhz If any questions, please ask, ill be happy to answer them for a solution. I really hope we can solve this, since there are none of these cards available anymore where i live, so returning it would really suck thanks in advance

Not sure if I'm technically supposed to do this here or not (I mean it's about a GPU lol). But I just signed up for the Newegg store credit card and was instantly approved, now I know I'm not going to get the physical card until like a week from now, but obviously that doesn't stop me from making online purchases with it as of right now. I received an email like 2 hours or so ago telling me the EVGA 2070 Super card I've been wanting is back in stock, so I put it in my shopping cart, I put in my information and all that junk, choose the store card as my paying option, and as SOON as I click on the "review order" part, it just removes the card from my shopping cart and goes "The following items have been removed from your cart because they are no longer in stock or it cannot be delivered to your location." Well that doesn't make sense, I live in NY and it says the card is in stock and it's been in stock for like over an hour now. Sooooo what gives? Anyone else ever have this issue?

While creating a new version of GPU-Z, adding support for Nvidia RTX super cards, W1zzard from TPU had noticed something very interesting. What he had noticed was, both RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super, have 3 separated Device IDs. RTX 2060 Super IDs are:1F06, 1F42, 1F47, and RTX 2070 Super Devices IDs are: 1E84, 1EC2, 1EC7. To understand what these Device IDs meant, and where they come from, we have to go back to the start of these RTX cards. The original RTX cards have 2 tiers of GPUs, both A and non-A. AIB who wants to factory overclock their GPUs will have to buy the more expensive A GPU, because Nvidia has forbidden factory overclock on the cheaper non-A GPU.These RTX Super cards on the other hand, Nvidia had ditched that idea and only release a single GPU for each of their Super cards. Looking at the list above, there is only a single RTX 2080 super with a ID of 1E81. RTX 2060 Super and 2070 Super on the other hand have 3. RTX 2060 Super w/ID 1F06 and RTX 2070 Super w/ID 1E84 matches with the RTX Super FE from Nvidia. RTX 2060 Super w/IDs 1F42 and 1F47, along with RTX 2070 Super w/IDs 1EC2 and 1EC7, seems to come from the non Super RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 as indicated by the red arrows. Some users who purchased these Super cards have noticed, their card's device IDs is from those non Super cards, and are speculating whether or not it's possible to flash it, and turn them into their more faster non Super cards. However simple flash might not be as easy, But who knows maybe there is a way, and let's hope tech geniuses out there comes will up with tool that can do so, so users who are lucky to get one of these cards, can unlock it to its full potential. https://www.techpowerup.com/257776/nvidia-rtx-2060-super-and-rtx-2070-super-chips-come-in-three-variants-each-flashing-possible

Hi LTT forum, I am planning to upgrade my PC since my gpu - Asus R9 280X DC II Top died almost 2 years ago thinking of going for nvidia this time rtx 2070 super seems to be good for playing at 1080p for now, & will suit if i plan to go 1440p but since i5 4440 is too weak for that, i am going to build the entire tower- except internal storage following are the parts i have shortlisted- 1. gigabyte windforce rtx 2070 super (500$) 2. Ryzen 7 3700x (330$) 3. G.Skills ripjaws v series 3200 8GBx2 (75$) / haven't decided mobo yet. My steam library just for reference to what games i play - https://steamcommunity.com/id/beingGamer/games/?tab=all&sort=playtime Questions. 1. are these parts good enough for smooth 1080p & 1440p 2. gigabyte windforce rtx 2070 super for 500$, is this a good deal? 3. Shall I go for 2060 super instead of 2070 super? Can it handle 1440p/higher refresh rates? 4. Please suggest a mobo(not too expensive/cheap)

Hi there guys! So TL;DR is, I upgraded my GPU to an Aorus RTX 2080 Super because I got an Asus Rog Swift PG27VQ monitor. The problem is, my GPU seems to be bottle necked and it doesn't seem to be my CPU causing it. I attached an example. I overclocked my GPU and didn't notice a difference. But when I opened up my task manager I noticed that even during a benchmark on Gears of War, it was just running at a max of 4% to 6%. Meanwhile my frame rate seldom goes over a 100 FPS. The max refresh rate on my monitor is 165 Hz, so I would really like to get the extra 60 frame out of it some how. My CPU isn't maxed out either by the looks of things, so I don't think it's causing the bottle neck, but I wonder if it could be the PCIE lanes on my Moba. Like are they possibly causing the bottle neck in this case? Here's a full breakdown of my setup. CPU: AMD Ryzen 1600 GPU: RTX 2080 Super Motherboard: Asus B350 Prime Plus RAM: Corsair vengeance RGB 3000 MHz (16 GB - X2 8GB) Storage: - M.2 NVME Corsair MP 510 960GB, - Team Force Delta RGB 1TB SSD, - Western Digital Blue 1TB PSU: Raidmax Thunder RX-735 AP Monitors: Primary - Asus Rog Swift PG27VQ Secondary - Acer AL2216W Any help would be appreciated. I'm planning on upgrading again in 2 week time anyway, but I'd ideally like to pinpoint the cause of the bottle neck so I can update it first and eliminate the guess work I know my CPU might cause a potential bottle neck in the ideal scenario, but currently it doesn't even seem like it's being maxed out either. Setting in the bench mark were all maxed out and frame rate was unlocked. The thermals on my CPU and GPU were also fine ( both were below 60 degrees, so there's no thermal throttling here either ) I saw the same thing when running a benchmark on 3D bench. My GPU doesn't run at 100%, even in GPU weighted tests Same seems to happen in games like Quake RTX and even Monster Hunter World. In Monster Hunter World, my frame rate also stuck at 100 FPS or below, but my GPU only goes up to 20% to 30% (Also with all settings maxed out and DLSS enabled) Hope you guys can help or make a suggestion

As the title suggest I have Two Monitors one QHD and one 4K monitor on top of that I also use a Wacom 4k cintiq, making the total count to three. Will a RTX 2070 super be enough to power all three?

Hi guys I have a problem deciding between these two models of the RTX 2060s and 2070s. I'm fixed in one of the two betting on ray tracing and Nvidia drivers. My main concern is cooling which is why I have my doubts. Maybe the performance of the two is close enough to go with the 2060s aorus for the better cooling or maybe not? I'm from Argentina and the price difference is around $25usd so I can afford either. What do you say?

I have a situation. I have the choice between a Blower and Triple fan 2070 Super. They come at a price difference (420€ vs 450€ respectively) but since this is kind of an auction on a forum prices may rise) so my question is how much more is the triple fan worth over the blower. I have a well ventilated case (6 case fans) so I have no special need for the blower card. I'm just trying to get the most amount of performance possible. I/O is fine on both. I'd kinda like a quieter card but performance is king. RGB doesn't matter to me. If there is a good website for this I would like to know about it. Thanks in advance.

What's better a msi geforce rtx 2070 8gb ventus or the msi geforce rtx 2060 super ventus oc 8gb?

Hey, i need a new gpu and i am unsure if i should drop an extra 150€ to get a 2080 SU instead of a 2070 SU. I game at 4k, but i am thinking about switching to 1440p@144. I am also interested in VR and CAD workloads like blender. Would you say these 150€ would be worth it? The performance gap between the normal 2070 and 2080 was very small to begin with. Also both SU cards rock the original 2080 gpu (TU104). The only differences (to my knowledge) are about 20% more cuda cores, a slightly higher clock and a higher power draw. Could the 2080 SU really be that much faster than the 2070 SU?

So it looks like AMD is reducing the prices for RX 5700 series GPU before launch in response to Nvidia's RTX Super lineup. This seems to make the new Navi GPU's an even better performance/cost option. There's even a theory going around that the original pricing were all a bait for Nvidia on their Super lineup pricing and it's based off of Scott Herkelman's tweet (linked below). Whether this was planned or is more of a marketing strategy is unknown, but this "battle" between AMD and Nvidia on the graphics side can only mean better prices and performance options gamers and consumers now and in the future. Edit: ty @seon123, I didn't realize that the link wouldn't generate an autopicture. Here's the picture tweeted by AMD with the updated prices. Basically, I bought a 2070 when it came out and now super cards and launching at the same price. Anyone know if Nvidia or any company will offer a trade-in program? Like are they really just gonna screw people over like that?

Nvidia's new "Super Cards" reviews are out, below is a list of all the news GPU reviews I could find. Nvidia Super Trailer: Paul's Hardware: Gamers Nexus: Linus Tech Tips: Hardware Unboxed: HardwareCanucks: Miscellaneous notes from reviews: 1/LTT: The good: +Good Thermals. +2070 Comparable to 2080 Performance (for the most part). +Consistent Boost clocks for both cards in gaming. The meh: Due to 2070/2080 being discontinued, they are the only option left for that bracket. The not so good: -Bad naming scheme. -Good "value", but not revolutionary (not Anthony's words, but my sentiment from watching his review). 2/Gamer's Nexus: The good: + 2070 Super has a very stable boost clock Frequency, according to Steve it is "nearly perfectly flat." 2060 is ever so slightly less stable, but still good. The not so good: -"It will sour recent RTX buyers with the refresh." Opinion: From what I've gathered, Nvidia could have done more. They are "decent" (quoting Anthony from LTT) but that's the current state of competition right now. I am hopeful for the Navi releases, but I'm honestly going to be cautiously optimistic this time. Been disappointed one too many times with GPU's for the past couple of years.

With Nvidia’s unveiling of the Super RTX card series expected to be just days away I was wondering how I could get my hands on one of the Founders Edition cards. I really like the look of them and I’m willing to pre-order or pay a little extra for that. Can normal folk even get Founders Edition cards? I realize that the announcement may be delayed, but I want to be ready for when these cards come out. If this has already been discussed or answered, please direct me to where. I couldn’t find it but then again I’m on mobile and I’m not well versed in how these forums work even though I’ve made a couple posts. Thank you

Hi, I recently got a new GPU. I use the HDMI output with my 4K/60Hz TV and, for a couple of weeks, it worked fine, but now I've been getting "artifacts" (it doesn't look like space invaders, rather several blinking colorful pixels). Thing is, it feels like a software issue. It only starts when Win10 is loaded. It is not present with BIOS or POST screen. Rig is Ryzen 3800X, Crosshair Formula VIII, 32GB ddr4 3200Hz, 750W gold PSU. Not yet overclocked. It feels like it worsens as system heats up, but I'm not sure. I've tried finding fixes, with no luck. I also tried flashing a newer VBIOS to the card, also with no luck. Any help? Thanks in advance,

Hi everyone, With the release of the 2070 Super I am considering upgrading to be able to get the most out of my 1440p 144hz monitor. I am currently in doubt between getting a 2070 Super or a used 1080 ti, since their used prices are quite attractive and the 2070 Super (not to mention the 2080 (Super)) prices are ridiculously inflated where I live. A used 1080 ti is about half to two-thirds of the price of a new 2070 Super in my country. So, what are your thoughts about about both cards? What are the benefits of one over the other?

It looks like SUPER is here to stay, because now even the GeForce GTX cards are getting in on the action. They may not be RTX cards, but could this be the bump Nvidia needs to make their users upgrade? Buy a GTX 1660 SUPER: On Amazon: https://geni.us/tjBI On Newegg: https://lmg.gg/8KVYK Buy a GTX 1660 Ti: On Amazon: https://geni.us/PYJi On Newegg: https://lmg.gg/8KVYr Buy an RX 590: On Amazon: https://geni.us/rF5Rl On Newegg: https://lmg.gg/8KVYS

I have never experienced screen tearing outside a game before on Windows. I got RTX 2070 super yesterday, and previously used GTX 1060 6GB. I'm getting screen tearing watching Youtube. The screen tearing goes away when enabling V-sync, but I don't want V-sync enabled. When I disable it again, the screen tearing is back. I could just enable V-sync for Google Chrome, but I don't think I have ever done that before. It just doesn't seem right. I have used DDU in safe mode to uninstall previous NVIDIA drivers, and I have prevented Windows from installing the GPU drivers. I have then installed the latest driver from the Nvidia website and choose the "standard" version. I don't really know what more I can do. Is this common? Possible a faulty GPU? My monitor is only 60hz, but I'm getting a 144hz monitor next weekend. I still want to solve the issue using the 60hz monitor.

I own an msi 2080 super ventus xs oc and im thinking of doing o custom water-cooling solution for the whole rig (cpu-gpu). The thing is that i can't find any waterblocks for this specific gpu. Any ideas?

Hey, does anyone know what this sound is? It seems to be coming from both fans and only happens when my GPU is running at 1% RPM. Asus RTX 2070 super dual - 15 days in use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcli7TLbLEM&feature=youtu.be

So I own an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, and I was wondering if it was "safe" to run a duel monitor setup. The first is going to be a 1920x1080p 240Hz Acer monitor and the second would be a 1920x1080p 60Hz old Polaroid TV. The TV would mainly be used for monitoring any streams I may do or have Spotify open on it. The Acer monitor would mostly be used for gaming, watching YouTube, and anything else I may do. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 2600x 6-core processor, if that makes any difference.

Hi everyone I have just recently built a system and having 2 issues. Aorus Z390 Master (ver.F10) – i9-9900k – Crucial 4x8GB 2400 - NZXT Kraken x72 – Aorus 2060 Super 8G - Corsair RM850i - 2xSamsung 870 Pro m.2 - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X - Win10Pro x64 Bios Sets @ Default - No OC - M/B 2x8pin both connected from PSU - GPU 1x8pin & 1x6pin both connected from PSU.1. In power off state Kraken's all 3 fans and pump's led still working. (Connected to CPU_FAN and not to CPU_OPT)From NZXT Support : Referring to "Good Night LED" or "Deep Sleep" but there is no such option. Also fast boot is disabled in bios. Also i disabled in Control Panel "Turn on fast startup" option. From Gigabyte Support : Haven't replied yet. 2. GPU fans 2 out of 3 still working after shutdown. I uderstand that M/B usb2.0 header doesn't cut power in power off state and maybe there isn't such option here. About the GPU, i think maybe fans working for a while for cooling down the chipset and not shut off right away but dchecked after an hour and still woorking. Thanks in advance for your help!
