Subject: PC Shuts Down Unexpectedly When Playing Valorant - Need Help! Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to this community in hopes of finding a solution to a persistent issue I've been experiencing. Whenever I play Valorant on my PC, it suddenly shuts down without warning. This problem only occurs while I'm in the game; my PC works fine with all other applications. Here's what I've tried so far: - Updating my graphics card drivers and other drivers. - Monitoring the CPU/GPU temperatures (they seem normal). - Running a full system virus scan (no issues found). - Checking for Windows updates. - Moved Valorant to a different drive and reinstalled. - I've tested other games like Palworld and also ran Kombustor and Did not experience any crashes or issues. - Updated BIOS (Resulted in stuttering in games. I may have resolved it by disabling FTPM and turning Game Boost to auto in bios) My PC specs are as follows: - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor - GPU: ASUS TUF NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti - Motherboard: MSI B650 Tomahawk - RAM: 32gb 6000mhz - PSU: Deepcool PX850G - Operating System: Windows 10 I've checked the error logs in the Event Viewer, but nothing there points me towards a clear cause. The shutdowns are abrupt and don't lead to a blue screen or any error message; it's as if the power just cuts out. The image below shows the critical message for the restart. Has anyone else faced a similar issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Could it be a problem with the power supply, motherboard, or something else entirely? Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help! Best regards, Adnan

so my backstory was I was benchmarking my pc and apparently my ram wasn’t being used to its full potential, so I tried to run bios by spamming f2. And I got in but my monitor doesn’t display bios so I kept spamming f2 and escape. Now I can’t enter my account because when I try to set up my pin nothing happens. Any help?

I turned on the pc today and felt it really slow, turns out is stuck at 0.8 Ghz. I am researching hard because I use this pc to work so is extremely important. I removed the GPU, I reset the BIOS, updated to the latest BIOS, used the optimal default profile, apply correctly new thermal paste but nothing works. I am sure is not temperatures, at idle temperatures are ok: I use ThrottleStop program and it works (returned to normal speeds) by disabling BD PROCHOT but as soon as I restart windows the problem comes back The 0.8 is also seen in BIOS: What can I do, I can´t work, today I lost the whole day. My pc is: i7 10700k @ 5.05 Ghz Corsair H100i pro XT 240mm MSI z490 tomahawk 16 Gb (2 x 8 GB) Patriot Viper Steel - 4000mhz - 16-16-16-34 MSI 1070TI titanium

I bought an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X in 2020. A few months ago, I bought a Ryzen 7 5700X. I didn't try to replace my old CPU immediately because I had seen a lot of cases where people had their CPU come off with the cooler. So, naturally, I had to remove the previous CPU. . Since buying 3700X in 2020, I haven't changed the thermal paste for 3 years. It had the default paste that comes with the Wraith Prism Cooler. So, when I tried to remove the CPU a few weeks ago, it came off attached to the cooler. I had run 6 hours of stress test before trying to remove the cooler so that the paste would melt a little and be a bit easy to remove, but it didn't work. . I reside in the Asia region. Since, I am not an expert, I went to the official distributor of my region and asked them to detach the cooler from the CPU. Note: They used to be the official distributor of AMD CPU when I bought my 1st Ryzen CPU which was a Ryzen 7 3700X. Currently, they are no longer the official distributor. All CPUs of AMD are imported via third party channel. . After a week or two, they called me and told me that the cooler wasn't coming off from the CPU. If it were attached to the paste only, then applying some force would make it come off, but they suspect that the CPU body has been fused with the heat pipes of the cooler or melted a little and got stuck really hard because of high heat. If they try to apply more force, it might damage the top body of the CPU, and there is a risk of rendering the CPU dead or not working properly after the procedure. They asked me for my permission to try. I told them I would let them know. . Is there any way you would recommend that would detach the cooler without damaging the CPU? I don’t care about the wraith prism cooler. If they have to cut pipes in order to free it, I am cool with that too. But would it work? That is the question. Or would any method work? What do you recommend? Please let me know. . I am attaching a link to a few pictures. In those, you'll see some bent pins. It happened during the removal process. They told me that bent pins wouldn't be an issue and that they would be able to fix those. The main problem is detaching the cooler from the CPU.

My new HP laptop keeps rebooting into the HP diagnostics tool (f2) without ever pressing the f2 key, after hard shutdown by pressing the power button and smashing the escape button sometimes gets me into the startup menu from here I can select the boot menu, and boot to windows no problems. How do I stop my laptop from going into the diagnostics tool on every reboot?

when i see my bios splash screen kinda sit there for a few seconds, i press the delete key or the f2 key to make sure that we're stuck and if nothing happens, then thats how i know, and after that, i press the reset button and consistently, my pc has booted properly every time after the reset. i suspect this is a gpu issue or has something to do with the order in which my drives turn on, but i'm not sure. perssonally i don't think this is a huge issue but if there's an easy fix then i'll do my best if there is a solution. attached are my pc specs if it helps

I press boot button on the casing's front and system lights turn on, peripherals lights(keyboard capslock etc) light up and then turn off, Asus logo shows and then it gets stuck. I shutdown by pressing the power button and pc shuts down, I power it back on > stuck again on Asus logo> I shut it down> pc boots successfully to windows. It always takes 2 or 3 restarts to successfully boot into windows. Things I've tried to fix it: Clean install windows x5 times Updated windows, updated drivers tried uninstalling windows updates Tried enabling/disable CSM Enable/disable fast boot Changing RAM slots Changing monitors/lcd Changing power supply Resetting by removing CMOS Remove and placing GPU, RAM , CPU(checked for broken pins) PC SPECS: AMD RYZEN 5 3600 MOBO: ASUS PRIME B450M-A (BIOS VERSION 4002) RAM 16GB DDR4 Lexar GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 POWER SUPPLY: Corsair CV650 1TB WD Blue SN570 Nvme SSD Windows 10 64 Pro 64bit

I, i have a OMEN 15-ek1093nf laptop, and soon I'm gonna add a second ssd with more storage, because the current one i have is only 500G, and while looking around and try to practice a bit with my current ssd, in the picture below you can see my ssd is stuck to the copper, and i don't want to pull on it in fear of damaging the ssd. I've put it back in and it works fine, but I'd like to ask if i should try to seperate it or leave it stuck together. (I bought this laptop as my first pc a year ago so a I'm not very familiar with that stuff)

I have an Asus low profile GT 1030 connected to my 4k TV and I am stuck at 30 hz. I have tried: Multiple cables Checked that the card has HDMI 2.0 Used both Windows 10 and Linux No matter what I try, I am stuck at 4k30 even with cables "rated" for HDMI 2.0. Is there anything else I can try, or do I need to buy a GT 1030 with a DP connector so I can use an HDMI 2.1 adapter?

For the last couple weeks my pc has been acting up. I thought maybe it was the cpu since it has been running a little warm (70-80c on average while gaming) so I am waiting on arctic to send me my replacement part for my AIO..some have said that wont help temps too much.. I have done all sorts of tests, updated bios, gpu drivers, ram tests, storage clean up...nothing is working I will be sitting on twitch and it will just freeze out of no where, and it is very inconsistent I cant seem to predict when it will happen..I will include a picture of what my desktop looked like today when it reset, thinking maybe it was a GPU issue, but I just bought the gpu in may of 2022. I have no overclocks, the voltage seems appropriate for the speed the cpu is at aswell.. I am almost considering resetting my pc since I feel I have no other option at this point My pc build is in my profile TIA

Hello all, I really need help fixing this issue here, my computer freezes after being idle for a few hours, I still can move the mouse though, but cannot open any file, I just can press the start and restart button only and it doesn't even restarts it will stuck on the restating screen... I have to force shut it down every time or press the reset button to make it work! Looked online on other forums but didn't find anything helpful. Here are some troubleshootings that I did that didn't work: - Made sure Power states (C-State) is turned off - Made sure the power plan settings are set to high performance whit never hybernate and at its maximum performance - Disabled overclocking and all AI overclocking from BIOS and Asus Ai Suite III - Made sure that EPU (Power savings) and away mode are disabled in Ai Suite III - Ran sfc/ Scannow - All drivers are updated to the most recent updates also windows note also that this was a fresh windows install, just after I completed my build 5 days ago. Attached some screenshots of my build. my new build specs: CPU: i9-13900K MB: Asus ProArt z-690 RAM: Crucial 128GB DDR5 4800Mhz PSU: Corsair 1200W Cooling: Noctua nh-u12a Windows 11 22H2

My laptop is LG U560 (2013) Chrome, version and windows10: On the Tuesday night I decided to update my laptop since it had became sluggish in the last week and thought the update might help as suggested by many youtube videos, after trying other fixed I came across with the updating my software solution so I proceeded. Duringthe nightI downloaded the windows update assistant and left my pc downloading the updates at 49% before I went for bed, 7 hours later I woke upand the pc was installing the updates after restating automatically but it was stuck at 30% for hours then it suddenly went off which could have been the problem with my faulty laptop battery, then I pluggedin and tried booting, and here I ended. My laptop can not boot anymore and it's stuck in this loop. It has created these unknown copies of my windows operating system and wherever I try booting one of them, I get driven back to the recovery menu. So here iam, stuck and I idle because all my work is on here. The are the clones of windows I have but never created. I get here after choosing one operating system from the list, when I select a language I get redirected to the recovery menu again.

Awhile back my friend lent me his 2080 super because he wasn't able to use his PC for a few months so I swapped out my 1070ti for his 2080 super and everything ran amazing and had zero issues. Since then I've had to return his card and put my 1070ti back in and ever since I've been having this issue when I'm just watching streams or YouTube. I have a dual monitor setup and almost always have a twitch stream running on second monitor and either a game or other video running on main monitor. After some time passes all video freezes but audio usually persists and task manager shows 100 GPU usage and my PC is really unresponsive. Temps are fine across the board and while gaming everything works like it should. Drivers are updated and recently cleaned so I don't think its a GPU driver issue. It seems to happen without fail eventually if I have 2 video sources playing on either monitor and the only solution is to restart the PC. I'm using Firefox as my browser and I have not tested to see if it happens on other browsers yet. Reliability Monitor shows a hardware error after it happens every time and I'm not sure what it means. Any help appreciated as this problem is frustrating even though its easily solved with a restart but inevitably will happen again eventually.

Hello. Today, when I opened my laptop it just booted on this screen (I’ll attach a photo below). Yesterday, when I last used it, everything was normal and no Windows updates were installed. No matter how many times I turn it off and on or how much I wait, nothing seems to change. Anybody got any idea on what may have caused this and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hello guys! I really need to change my laptop's thermal paste as my CPU temps are going over 95c if I don't disable turbo with throttlestop . So I open up the laptop , remove all the screws on the heatsink and fans , and when I try remove it i can't. It is hard stuck to the GPU processor. I have tried warming it up with gaming to over 80c on my gpu and immediately tried to remove it, no success , I even tried with the hairblower. I've seen people online say to twist it , I can't , it won't twist. I have been scared to try to forcibly remove it cause' it might rip off the gpu or something. Have any of you have this happen? How do I fix it? At this point I think MSI put cement instead of thermal paste on my laptop. Thanks in advance!
