So I recently bought the presonus eris e3.5 and the focusrite scarlett 2i2. But since the speakers lack sub , I decided to use my old creative A255 sub woofer which is really good. But when I connected the focusrite into the lap, the audio output from my lap wont function. I tried changing the output from system sound settings, but still it did not work. Using Asio4all in my daw and turning on both outputs from the control panel also did not work as the sound only came from the interface. Also the creative A255 sub takes info from the right speakers and then sents to the left. So is there anyway to get output from both outlets(lap audio output and from the 2i2) or is there a way to connect my sub without all these work. Also is there a possibility of creating a virtual environment and splitting the audio outputs such that I can use both my interface and laptop audio output jack? Any help is appreciated and thank you. Images : A255 sub back Creative speaker main connections Presonus eris e3.5 left speaker back Interface back

Hello there guys, I'm new here and my 1st question as a member is, if anyone could give me an idea on how to connect my speakers (genius sw-hf 5.1 4800) to my TV and still experience 5.1 sound and not stereo. PS: Sub has 3 output cables and all of them are 3.5mm, so I guess I need something that connects 3x3.5mm to (??) what

I recently upgraded my WFH setup with a new desk and monitors. To complete my setup I would really like some speakers that allow me some rest from wearing headphones (DT 770 Pro) all day. To power my headphones and microphone I have a Behringer UMC22, so after searching for some cheap USB + 3.5mm speakers like these or these but thought why not see if there's something I could power with the L+R outputs at the back of my UMC22. Thing is, I'm a noob at this stuff and not sure what I even need to search to have an idea of what I need, hence why I'm here. What speakers under $50 would you recommend for casual background listening to pair with my UMC22? Thanks for your time

Hello, I am new to the whole amp/dac scene, I am looking for a combo for driving my headphones because the output from my motherboard is really quiet. I have been browsing online but something that Im curious about is this: I also have a pair of Logitech Z625 speakers hooked up to my computer currently. I would like to be able to use these when I am not using headphones, and then be able to plug headphones into the Amp/Dac and have the speakers mute as they do when hooked up to my motherboard audio. Is this possible? I've looked around and have gotten conflicting information. Any reccomendations are appreciated. I'm trying to target a budget of 300 or lower, but if its slightly higher for features I want or better sound quality I would not be opposed. Thank you in advance for any information you may be able to provide.

So on my LG monitor, it has a port on the back that says "H/P". Can I connect my speaker system directly to my monitor, or is that just for head phones? My monitor insists I do since my sound keeps switching to it every time I turn off the monitor. It looks like its listed as "AMD High Definition Audio Device" in the sound control panel.

I bought the Logitech x 530 like twelve years ago and they are still working fine. But the room where my computer is located is not that big so I want some 2.0 speakers. I'm not audiophile and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but, would the Creative Pebbles 2.0 be a good replacement for my current setup? 90% of the time I just watch youtube videos so 5.1 doesn't work. I do some gaming and watch Netflix and that's it.

My daughter currently has a 'Samsung S27H850QFU - SH850 Series - LED monitor - 27' monitor and wants to connect a 'Amazon 4k Firestick' through the HDMI port, to use without connecting a laptop. However, the monitor does not have built-in speakers, but does have various ports (DP-Out, DP-In, HDMI-In, USB Type-C and 2 USB). Is it possible to connect external speakers to the monitor, so that she can get sound from the 'Amazon 4k Firestick', without connecting a laptop? I was hoping to get a working setup she can take back with her to University in January 2021. Any help would be greatly appreciated in suggestions and necessary hardware that I may need to buy.

Hello, Basically the as you can see from the screenshots the speakers has a audio jack which is basically non existent on my motherboard which is an asus rog strix b460-f. I tried plugging into all the rear panel jacks but the sounds tab still told me that it was not plugged in (speakers). However, the front panel jack which is denoted by "headphones" does work and says plugged in when I plug my cord in. Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi, I want to reuse my i5 8400 in a smaller form factor by using a H310 motherboard and smaller case. The one question I have is does a board exist from Gigabyte, ASUS etc that has a small onboard speaker for audio not just post codes like some prebuilt PC's have? Currently using a M720s but want a near silent build with a passive power supply.

I have an Honor MagicBook 15 which has a combo mic/headphone jack. Whenever I plug in my external speakers the built in mic stops working because there's something plugged into the jack and it thinks it's a microphone. How, and can I even override this so that my laptop uses the built in mic even when the speakers are plugged in?

Hi there, I'm currently looking to buy speakers since I don't have one and there are times where I just don't want to use my headphone and they're just overall better when i need to move around in my room or not sitting in front of the desk. Anyway, my budget is not that high, I have an iSK Audio MDH9000, which some say sound similar to ATH-M50 but at a much lower price. I'm happy with it and been using it since 2017 and it only cost me $58 back then. With that said, does said price will be able to achieve a comparable sound in speakers? For this, I stretch my price at 50-70 USD, I've been looking at soundbars since I don't really have a big desk to work with and it'll be even smaller when I move into my dorm again once the human malware situation is solved, but my goodness are they expensive, I've looked at rtings budget soundbars and they are around 200-ish. Your inputs are welcomed and thank you for reading this. Have a good day.

Is there any computer speakers which is good for playing music and gaming. My budget is under 100 USD. Also, I would prefer it to just come in a pair and not have a subwoofer but still has woofers built inside.

I'm SO CONFUSED. So I had a soundbar at first at my desk. The sound was pretty good. I've only used it with an optical cable and I never had any issues. But, it was too big, and I wanted better stereo separation. So at first I bought an Edifier R1855DB set. Which, is sorta great, the speakers sound fantastic, but, since I got them, I had many, many audio crackles, all the time, both on optical and on RCA. I didn't really hear it much on music, but heard it a lot on talking (LTT) videos. To be sure, I tried everything on windows, re installing the Realtek Audio Driver, updating it, and after that didn't help, using windows recovery to go back to stock (because I like having loudness equalization and the newest Realtek driver doesn't support that). I also tried setting it to 44khz, 48khz, studio/cd/dvd quality. And of course I also tried disabling all windows enhancements, doesn't help either. And I ran latencymon, and it told me everything is perfect. So, I contacted edifier and they asked me for examples which I've sent (pasted below as well), and they're still looking into it. But I was so annoyed by the pops and crackles, I returned those speakers. I then bought a creative T100 set, I was pretty sure the Edifier set was the problem, because I've never had problems with the soundbar (which I have given away by now btw). Guess what. On the T100, the problem is exactly the same. I'm starting to think the new better speakers (both brands) are so good, they make me hear things windows causes, and the "bad" soundbar didn't let me hear those, or something like that? Is there anything I can do? PS on bluetooth I hear the problem a lot less, it's still there a bit, but not too much. The bluetooth delay on video however is not something I can live with. Edit: the problem maybe isn't there at all on bluetooth, I'm not too sure. It might be there a tiny bit, but at least it's a lot less. I really hope someone here can help me. I really don't want to buy the same crappy soundbar that I gave away, new, again. Examples:

It has 1 shitty speaker and looks like this: Aliexpress link I was hoping if there is a lenovo dual internalspeaker that would maybe fit the connector like the one in the picutre/link. There is space for bigger speakers in this laptop. It has plenty of unused space.

Hello everyone! So I built my first ever PC (worked first time I might add...) about 1 1/2 years ago and have been relying on monitor speakers for a while, but now I want to buy some GOOD computer speakers. But I'm a complete noob, don't even know where I'd plug in the speakers to my computer, kind of noob. Mr priority is longevity of product, but then I also want the best quality I can squeeze out of it. If it's good quality sound for it's price but doesn't last then what's the point. Here are what I'm considering from order of most wanted to least justified. -- $200.00 (x2) "SVS Prime Satellite - Piano Gloss White" Maxing out what I'd like to spend. -- $149.99 "Bose Companion 2 Series III Multimedia Speakers" as being my budget option. It has a notch for volume adjustment which is nice. But audio quality? Unsure. -- $399.99 "SVS Prime Wireless Powered Speaker System" (as they have a clear volume notch on the right speaker... but maxing out what I'd like to spend. Addition nooby things that I just don't know. Assuming a speaker doesn't have volume adjuster knobs easily accessible, are most speakers you plug into a computer controllable via a windows operating system setting? Like I really don't know, I've never operated a windows computer before this one and I've never bought a speaker for it so I need to know. If the above is true then I'm really tempted to get the top most option listed, if not, I'm probably gonna go with the BOSE option. But if you guys have any addition options I don't know of, I just need two computer speakers, Sub isn't really a need for me. Or rather, I won't get a quality and lasting one at my price range. I'm gonna say that my absolute highest price I'll go is $400.00 but I prefer to stay in the $250.00 range.

Hello everyone, I am looking for some low profile Speakers (think split Soundbar or bookshelf Speakers laying on their sides). And since the Internet told me that laying speakers on their sided is bad for the sound quality I am in a bit of a loss on what I should buy and was hoping for your help. My Restrictions: I have about 200€ to spent. I can go a little over/under budged so don't worry about conversion rates to $ or £. The space I have to fit the Speakers is 15.5cm in height, 25cm in width and 18cm in depth (~ 6.1" x 9.85" x 7.1"). What do I use my Speakers for: 75% Videos/Movies etc. 20% Music (not Audiophile-quality) 5% Gaming (have a Headset for that) Sound Profile Preferences: I often times have trouble hearing what is said if there is noise around me or in a video. So I want something with clear mids but I kinda expect that at this price point. I don't intend to buy a separate subwoofer so I want speakers whose bass is serviceable. I don't expect anything amazing just something decent. The Loudness has to be enough to be louder than the street below my window but other than that I don't really enjoy turning up the volume so it doesn't have to get too loud. Do I want passive or active Speakers? Honestly I don't really care? If there is a good combo of AMP + Speakers for that Price then I can go for it but if you tell me that I am better of just buying to active Speakers than that's fine too. The only caveat is again space: there is an square of about 25cm (9.85") on my desk where I could probably put it (height shouldn't really matter). Other: Since I sit only about 60-90cm (~ 2-3 ft) away from my speakers the would probably fire at my chest instead of towards my ears. Is that a problem? How Necessary would a DAC be at this price point? Keeping in mind that every € spent on a DAC is a € not spent on speakers. How difficult would it be to get one later and integrate it? I have to add that I am a complete noob when it comes to audio equipment. I tried to do some basic research but I'm kinda overwhelmed by the amount of information on this topic. If there is anything I did not mention that you think is important I am probably unaware of it.

As the title suggests, I'm interested in getting speakers for my home office that I'll be using primarily for gaming and video watching, and less commonly for music. I have little knowledge when it comes to audio (and especially speakers) so I'm not looking for anything crazy, preferably a simple two speaker setup but I'm open to suggestions.

My family is going on a long trip and would like to buy a set of bluetooth speakers to watch movies with. Ideally these speakers should be: pretty loud Ideally able to be heard at 20 feet in a vehicle with pretty bad road noise around 100$ fully wireless

I switch to a receiver and bookshelf speakers 2 years ago and wouldn't go back. I have a Yamaha R-S201 stereo receiver and Paradigm Mini monitor bookshelf speakers The receiver I payed 20 bucks off Facebook and speakers where part of 150 dollar surround sound I bought off Kijiji. I run my headphones off the receiver and when I want to turn off speakers I just click off A speaker button on front of receiver. The only thing that sucks is having to have Voicemeeter always running to have sound going to my home theater when I want to watch something on the couch. It would be horrible going back now that it's setup. What does everyone else run and what did it cost?

When I try to output audio from my speakers, the audio is very distorted, muffled and sounds like static. Can I fix the speakers or do I just need to buy new ones.

I bought a splitter audio cable (two female to one male) to use my speakers on both my Mac Mini and my PC, but while the Mac Mini audio has normal volume levels, on my PC the volume completely maxed sounds very quiet. This my first time attempting something like this so i don't know if i'm approaching it wrong. The goal is to use a single set of speakers simultaneously on both the PC and Mac without having to buy a switch or a second set of speakers, any help is appreciated.

This should definitely be an interesting 1... If anyone remembers, a few months back --[Approximately, but I don't remember exactly how long it's been.]-- I made a few posts regarding my console setup. Now, I'm at an interesting situation to say the least. Due to how small my room is, I can't have a TV in here as much as I want to for my consoles. But, using my gaming monitor for my consoles isn't too big of a deal anyway. My monitor is the MSI Optix MPG27CQ btw. However, the topic of today is using my speaker [The LG UltraGear GP9] with the Wii U. So far, I have it hooked up to the monitor via HDMI & I managed to get the Gamepad connected & get the console itself onto my WiFi network. Now as far as how I would need to use the Wii U with the speaker is simple: have HDMI going to the monitor for both video & audio. But since the speaker itself does NOT have an HDMI port, that means I somehow have to split the video & audio. When I chatted with a Gamestop agent about this a little while ago, he said running HDMI to the monitor & then connecting the speaker to my monitor via a 3.5 mm audio cable would work, but I'm not quite so sure given that I've never done this before. As far as this method above goes, since it hasn't worked so far, is there like a setting on the Wii U I need to change in order to get sound out via the speaker? If it won't work that way, then should connect the included usb cable to the Wii U...? [I'm not sure if that's what I need to do here.] Nonetheless, I'm sort of confused & at a loss for words & I would highly appreciate it if I can chat about this with someone who is experienced enough & can help! And if there's a different solution I need to implement which hasn't occurred to me yet, the feel free to let me know! If I ended up forgetting anything or if you need anymore details, please don't hesitate to ask & I will be sure to answer back! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out with this!
