A lot of people are talking about this on TikTok, and I wanted a different perspective to be shared to me maybe they are right but people are saying it’s coming in 2023 or in a few years or a decade. i’m just not seeing any consistencies, and want a straight answer, and not have 20 different answers,

Hey everyone. What kind of hardware (CPU, RAM?, ...) is in satellite for e.g. TV signal or internet signal like from StarLink? Do they have custom made CPUs for satellites? How does the cooling work? Or is space cold enough for cooling? Although you need matter to take the heat away and there is less dense matter where satellites are... So many questions...

Hello, I today installed the August Security Patch on Nokia 6.1 Plus and since then the "System" in my phone is taking almost 13gb of space unlike before where it was only 8gb if I remember correctly. Is there any way to fix it without doing a reset?

I'm building a new PC and I wanted to know what PSU should I get. I was thinking of getting a RMx Series™ RM1000x, because my GPU is a MSI suprim x 3090 with a 5950x. My mobo is a ASUS Dark hero. The only thing I'm mostly worried about not having enough pin connectors because it takes 3x8pin connectors for the GPU and my CPU connector is an 8+4. Right now I only have a 1 hard drive but later down the road I want to add some Solid State Drives. So space is my biggest concerned.

Hey Everyone so I have an unfortunate question to ask you. Me and my friend completed my first PC build yesterday. Well unfortunately being the idiot I am I got a huge CPU cooler (Noctua NH-D15 sso2 type D) not realizing quite how big it is. I'm using an MSI Pro B460M Pro Micro ATX board. I'm sure you can see where this is going. Well my GPU is right up on my CPU cooler (I mean very close like not sliding a piece of paper in there close). Now none of my parts are overclocked in anyway, I ran The Witcher 3 on ultra in 1080p (1080 is as high as I can currently go) with full Lighting settings for over 2 hours and it never got hotter than 75 degrees Celsius, and finally I'm waiting on a delivery tomorrow to connect the rest of my fans to my PSU. In total I will have 5 case fans running when the last 3 are connected to my PSU. Airflow goes from the two 140mms in front to one 120mm in the back and 2 120mm fans in the top when all are on. My question is this will this damage my components or cause problems and should I shut this computer down until I can afford a full size ATX motherboard like the MSI Z490 I wanted to get but was out of my price range. Thank you for reading my long description and I hope to hear back. MSI GL73 8rd specs storage space pawn
Allmightyballs posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
I just picked up a msi Gl73 8rd from a pawn shop. It reset it using the msi factory settings way (youtube tutorial) & updated fine after but it seems slow starting up & I feel space is missing. What type of storage comes factory? Ive got 558 on C drive & 349 on "data". Also dragon center shows 1T HD but this PC shows 558 & 465 free on C & 349 on "data". The OS loads from the C drive(HD) instead of what seems to be the SSD. Does this sound normal &or could something be taking up space? Can I just add another 8 gig stick or should I replace that with 32?(what I thought this should have) I feel like parts are missing or changed & MSI website doesn't state size of said drives. Note- I have it in my head its a 1T HD & the data is an ssd & the OS should boot from the ssd Any advice on the subject is or laptop itself is greatly appreciated( its replacing a HP stream13 nightmare for daily use) -
i just watched some 2015 LTT system builds, along with SpaceX new starlink satelites... In how many years do you think Google or Amazon will put their servers to the moon? tempratures there tuns to even minus 170 C/ 280F BTW google (or microsoft) have already thought putting their server underwater to the sea, although maintenance was a main issue, thinking that a technician now has to have diving skills as well etc etc

Hi all, I was hoping you could help me figure out where to put my fans for the best airflow, since I have a few unorthodox requirements for placement. - My case is the Meshify C - I have an h100i AIO, which blocks the RAM slots when mounted on top, so the AIO has to go on front. - The AIO has 2x120mm MLs - Other fans I have are 1x120mm LL, and 2x140mm LL - I'd like the lighting to look nice, but of course that's secondary to good airflow With these requirements, I've developed a weird sort of arrangement. I decided to use the 140mm fans for intake due to volume, and the only space I could mount them was from the top, so I have intake on the top. Then to balance, I have the 120mm LL on the rear and the 120mm MLs on the front radiator, both exhausting. So I sort of have a intake on top, exhaust split on both sides arrangement. I know this is unorthodox, though, and I'm not sure about how well it'll work. Any other ideas, such as maybe using 140's for exhaust and intaking on both sides? I'm hoping to retain a fairly balanced, positive pressure at rest setup, taking into account the fact that the AIO fans might not be running all the time but max out at higher RPM than the LL's. Thanks!

Hello, I'm building a PC in less than two weeks and thought I checked everything. My case is a Corsair iCUE 465X and my RAM a G.Skill 2x 16 GB Trident Z Neo. It's 44mm high. I'm planning to cool my CPU with a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum AIO. I bought an Asus Rog Strix x570-E Gaming (if that matters). I planned to install the radiator on the top side, but I just read on reddit in someone else thread that I might get problems with my radiator and RAM, because the RAM is to high. Is that true and if yes what could I do? The 240mm radiator can only be placed on the top side. On the front side is only place for a 280mm or 360mm radiator according to the official website. I'm wondering if I couldn't install the radiator + a LL120 fan there?

Eunji's EP, The Space, features her next exploration into her solo career, with her new title track, The Spring, a ballad made for thinking about the season of Spring. I am a huge fan of Eunji due to her amazing voice, and I put Eunji as South Korea's #1 vocalist. Her voice is also unique and soothing with a cool tone to it. I can't wait to listen to this EP and share my thoughts on each song. I have chosen to leave out the piano version of The Spring due to it being relatively the same as the original mix. 0:00 - Absolutely beautiful beginning to the song with some windchimes and a warm guitar to bring the atmosphere to the listener's ears. 0:20 - Eunji's vocals effortlessly flow into the song, with the background guitar giving her vocals some body and warmth. She has an absolutely beautiful voice. 0:40 - The background starts to pick up a lot more here which anticipates the chorus to be a sweet release. Eunji's vocals remain front and center, with the background accordion still flowing through the song. The gentle "oooo" vocals underneath give Eunji's vocals priority and elevate the character of the song in this section. 1:02 - The beautiful, melodic, and soothing mix of accordion, guitar, delicate claps, and of course Eunji's warm and inviting vocals create this absolutely magnificent chorus. The subvocals also give Eunji's main vocals some flair and body to stand out even further from the background composition. 1:45 - The guitar returns here with a light piano, whilst still giving Eunji's vocals the front of the stage for an amazing, soothing rhythmic second verse. 2:30 - This second verse gives even more soul and tone to Eunji's vocals, going a higher register than the first chorus whilst also increasing the tone for the accordion, interestingly keeping the guitar at a more floored tone. This is a beautiful elavation from the first chorus. 2:50 - The simple composition of the guitars to give Eunji's vocals some flow and body is an excellent choice here. Eunji's vocals are amazingly well presented and makes the listener appreciate her talent a lot more. 0:22 - Eunji's vocals really pop here combined with the simple kickdrum and the guitar strokes. Jineon's warm, husky vocals contrast Eunji's heavenly soft vocals in an amazing way here. Especially when they harmonize. 1:03 - The harmony between Eunji and Jineon is so beautiful, especially when the balld here is so muted on the background composition, only having a simple guitar strum and some minor background harmonies to give the vocals some more body. 2:08 - This enhanced chorus is so beautiful with the mirrored harmony of the two vocalist, again with the simple background composition. 3:00 - This beautiful, simple humming is given so much body with the undertone and once again with the simple guitar strumming. This is such a classic ballad that accentuates the talent from Eunji and Jineon. 0:15 - This faster-paced start begins with an interesting electric guitar with some higher-toned beats and of course Eunji's vocals in the front. 0:45 - A drum is introduced here which is interesting as it accompanies that electric guitar, even though this song has a ballad feel to it. Eunji's vocals only promote the ballad side which is an interesting contract to the otherwise rock-inspired background instrumentals composition. 1:00 - The rock-inspired instrumentals effortlessly accompany the beautiful vocals of Eunji somehow, it's a really interesting contrast. 2:52 - This acapella with the muted instrumentals is an interesting change from the original cues of the song, Eunji's vocals are so beautiful here as she reaches the high note. The song really makes us focus on her vocals a lot here, and re-introduces the instrumentals as she reaches the climax of her high notes. 0:20 - The simple acoustic guitar strumming combined with Eunji's soft vocals creates a soft, calm atmosphere that is so comfortable to listen to. 0:48 - An electric guitar is introduced here to elevate the composition, as well as a few violins to further accompany Eunji's vocals. It's a beautiful composition that elevates Eunji's vocals. 1:35 - The background composition here is very orchestra-like especially when accompanying Eunji's beautiful vocals. It's almost theatre-like. 2:05 - The whole theatre vibe is further accentuated here with the beautiful mix of guitars and violins to side by Eunji's beautiful and powerful vocals. 2:58 - Eunji's power vocals shine here with the background elevating her voice a lot to the ceiling, it's a beautiful and powerful composition. Eunji did not disappoint with this EP. All the songs on it are absolutely beautiful to listen to, her vocals always take the center of the stage with the instrumentals, no matter how intense, are always second to her calming, soothing voice. My favorite song of the album is The Spring, I absolutely love the calm composition and the way she sings it really does make me think about the glories of the season Spring and everything about it. A very soothing song indeed. I also particularly like First Farewell for the interesting harmony between Eunji and Jineon. Their voices are so unique and contrast each other nicely, which creates a nice divide and beautiful harmony at the same time. This combined with the simple guitar instrumental makes First Farewell a beautifully constructed song. I love this album so much, I can tell Eunji gave this album so much love and effort and it shows in the quality of each song. Eunji is such a national treasure.

I have had this ssd for a while now, it has a total of 120 gb of space in it and I use it to open applications but I don't install my games on it. For some reason it says that the drive only has 224mb free and that I have 50gb worth of apps and games installed, I know for sure that's not right as I have checked my Steam, Origin, Uplay, Epic, and Bethesda games and they are all installed on one of my other hard drives. I have run things like CCleaner but to no avail, it still says that I have 50gb of games on it. When I click on the Apps and games, it says that the 2 largest files I have are files I don't even own anymore, Dead Space and Adobe Fuse, which combined would only be about 10gb. It doesn't give me the option to delete them anymore either, it just brings up an error message saying windows can't find it. This issue has been bothering me for a long time now and I haven't been able to find a fix, I would really appreciate some help with this issue. Thanks.

NOTE: If this can be in news please move it there, if not just keep it here. SOURCE SOURCE 2 Next Wednesday, astronomers around the world will have a press conference of what might be the first ever photograph of a black hole (at least for us humans, we don’t know if aliens got to this already ). They were able achieve this by using a network of telescopes called the ‘EHT’, this is pretty cool to say the least... My thoughts of how you could get a picture of a black hole (before this story came out) was to take a photograph where the background would be lit and very active with a collection of stars and you can see where the black hole would possibly be because the view of the other stars are obviously blocked out of view. But I wonder how they managed to do this, and it would be cool to find out next Wednesday. Let us know about your opinion and how they might’ve done something like this. I really feel like in the next few years the advancement of space exploration will advance by a whole lot. I just really hope we will have the technology later on in the future to be able to travel to near by stars, or at least leave the solar system without waiting 30+ years...

Self explanatory, i'm hungry for some spaceship piloting, exploring planets, potentially landing on them and perhaps shooting stuff for fun; i was gonna buy GTA V for the thrill of massacre but then realized it's kinda expensive for my budget (currently saving for a new gaming rig) and i've also not even installed sleeping dogs since i bought it few weeks ago; currently this is my shopping cart, i love open world rpg's but it's a been too much learning about inventory and fighting systems so i wanted something more like a sim, that's why i have "Everything" and want something space-themed to chill off to. Right now i'm between Elite Dangerous and Everspace but feel free to recommend a better one you know about. PS: Skullgirls is probably not making the cut since i've already got Mortal Kombat X but i might buy it if someone gives me good reasons to.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/12/13/virgin-galactic-flight-could-send-first-astronauts-to-edge-of-space.html Virgin Galactic's space plane Unity became the first plane to successfully reach outer space. The plan reached 51.4 miles above Earth's surface. The United States Military and NASA declares outer space at 50 miles above the surface. For those that don't know. Blue Origin was made to try and provide tourists a way to outer space and was originally funded by Jeff Bezos in the early 2000's as a direct competitor to Virgin Galactic. The space planes success brings us one step closer to being able to take a trip to space and come back to Earth. The pilots became the first astronauts working for Virgin Galactic. The company announced that tickets for a ride to space would range from about 200,000 to 250,000 USD.

So I'm cramming some pretty high end components into a extremely small case. I was planning on air cooling it however after some thinking I believe it would be possible to do a custom loop. I could get the case extension and add a thick 240mm rad and use higher quality components and put both the CPU and GPU in a custom loop. The other option would be to leave the GPU air cooled and throw a AIO on the CPU? I would prefer air cooling the CPU as well and I'm going to try I just don't know how well it'll handle temps. Go check out the start of my build log here, the one in my signature is my old computer.
