Hi everyone, I'm looking for some white sleeved cable extensions that are low price as possible (and still do the job well). Any suggestions as to where I start looking and which products you guys recommend? Thanks.

- Ok guys i want to custom sleeve my cables BUT i have some questions... . - What type of wire to use ? . - Type of sleeving ? . - Why i don't just buy a pre-sleeved extensions ??? Because then it's not my work and i want to do it straight from my power supply . - And now most important thing SHOW OFF YOUR WORK . . . PS: Excuse me if there is grammar mistake.

What diameter cable sleeving should I buy for a standard ATX power supply?

not sure if this is the right place to put this, but anyway I am planning on re-sleeving some fans and a pump in an upcoming build, and was wondering if anyone knows anywhere I can get ideally lightish blue (around the gigabyte SATA cables) or if not white fan headers, both 3 and 4 pin, my google searches have come up with some nice images, but no sites I can buy from.

I'm looking to spice up my build a little bit and looking to get new custom cables for my power supply. I have an EVGA Supernova 750 G2, I was just wondering where the best place is to get already sleeved custom cables and where I can find them the cheapest. Thanks for any suggestions! Any questions just ask. My build: Mobo: Z97 Sabertooth Mark 2, Processor: Intel Core-i7 4790k, RAM: 16gb Corsair Dominator Platinum Series, GPU: EVGA GTX 970 FTW Edition (soon to be 2)

I imagine most of you on the forum can relate to, at one time or another, thinking "I should be making money off of this" when it comes to PCs. I know I have on the about a dozen PCs I've built for friends and family. Recently I have been considering building a PC, just to put it up for sale on Craigslist or Amazon or something, but the risks in that are kinda high. Has anyone else tried this before?

Last year, I posted how I was impressed with Razer's sleeving of their mice and looking for something similar. Recently, I ordered some cord samples from paracordgalaxy.com and thought I'd share my findings: Here we have a standard USB braided mouse cable (Mionix NAOS), 425 paracord, ⅛" shock cord, and 550 paracord. Owners of newer Razer mice have braided cables much closer to the ⅛" shock cord than the 425 paracord. Some suggested it was 550 paracord, and while the weave is tighter than the standard braided mouse cable or 425 paracord, its diameter is slightly larger (~1.5mm). So I've found my sleeving grail? Not so fast.. Shock cord is basically bungee cord with an elastic rubber core for tie-downs and whatnot. Seems very difficult to work with, even in the useless 6" sample length I received. The individual rubber core cords break easily and try to grab each other when attempting to remove them. The bottom portion in the white picture and top portion in the black picture show part of the cord that still has its rubber core intact. Ideally, I'd like to try a coreless ⅛" shock cord, or a 3mm coreless paracord with the 550 weave (they're probably the same thing). I don't think shock cord is worth working with, because at usable lengths, the core would be even more of a pain in the ass to remove, but I still think it looks and feels much much better than the 425 that comes on most braided mice cables. What do you folks think? Too much hassle? Maybe worth looking into a coreless version?

Hello Everyone! I am thinking about getting into a custom build over the summer, like seriously custom. I am willing to put all of the time and effort it takes to do everything I plan on doing (custom sleeving, hard tube liquid cooling, lighting, whathaveyou). In regards to the cable management anyway, I've hit a bit of a snag in the planning process. I want to sleeve my own OEM PSU cables and cut them to specific lengths depending on what connectors are where. My problem is that the way I intend to do this would be to use something like a mountable cable comb in order to route the cables along the backside of the motherboard tray, and I can find no such piece. Has anyone ever tried this before, and do you know what kind of fastener I'm talking about? Or perhaps a better way to go about this task? I have included a basic drawing of the way I intend to measure cable length in hopes that it will do a much better job at explaining what I want to do. Thanks in advance!

So I plan on making my own custom sleeve job and it's going to be custom length right down to the wire (no pun intended). My question is does either gauge make the job easier? make the psu run more stable? or just give better bends?

does the sanctum sleeving website load for anyone as whenever i try to go on it it just comes up with links to the home page and no other links

I have thought about sleeving my cables individualy but i don't want that, i want quality replacement cables that are sleeved but GROUPED. (so one sleeve) for all things that need cables basically. thanks (website URLS please)

Hey all, Not new to watercooling, but I'm soon going to endeavor on a refresh on my last build from a 900D into a CaseLabs Mercury S8 (Side note: I'll have some spare parts left over-- some radiators, possibly a D5 pump, bunch of soft tubing fittings-- let me know if anyone wants to buy any of this stuff-- I'd also sell the 900D but it's so big & heavy it'd be a fortune to ship). Anyway, as part of this new build, I want to clean up my radiator fan wiring by combining the 3 non-PMW fan wires into one, sleeved cable that then plugs into an Aquaero 5. I have a few questions about this if anyone can shed any light: What is the best way to combine the different cables of each fan? Should I solder them? Or is twisting together and electrical tape enough? What's the best place to combine the cables so that I can still fit paracord sleeving over it? I read that I should only be sending the RPM signal of one of the fans, so that means I should just tape off the unused RPM wires of the other fans? Aside from a pin removal kit, what other tools should I expect to use for this? I'm a little unclear about the metal pin at the end of the wire that goes into the plastic connector-- what is the actual name of this? Are these easy enough to remove and re-apply? Should I buy new ones? Are there any tools that make this any easier? Thanks in advance and apologies for the noobish questions. Haven't really taken on an electrical type of project with my watercooled builds yet.

Hey folks, I'm sleeving my OCZ PSU cables. I'll unplug, sleeve and then plug back these yellow 16AWG cables. I'd like to know if there is any right order to plug them back or not. Thanks!

Hello, I already have some sites but since its my first time attempting to do custom sleeving, i was wondering which sites would you guys recommend buying the sleeving tools and such/ paracord? I live in belgium. Thanks

Hello folks, I'm trying my first adventures on sleeving power cables. The thing is I have an OCZ ZX850W which have only 8pin exits, and a HD7950 with two 6pin connector. Until deciding on sleeving my power cables that came with the PSU I had no problem with the +2pin hanging out of the 6pin, but now I've decide to get rid of them on behalf of my rig good looks. My question is: can I just not connect the 2 cables coming out of the 8pin side on to the +2pin? PS.: Sorry for the not resized pics.

Hey! I'm planning on buying a white Corsair 760T case and wanted to get some white sleeved psu cables to make the interier look nicer. My current PSU is a XFX Pro 1050W black edition. I've been looking around the web and have read that Seasonic make the power supplies for XFX and have found this cable kit which says it works on some Seasonic PSUs. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-051-CM My first question would be, would the cables work for my power supply? I've also been looking at these sleeved cables on icemodz.com which i absolutely love the look of! They look a lot brighter than the kit on overclockers (but that may just be because of the camera used) but what really appeals to me is the white connectors. http://www.icemodz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/SAM_3810_Edited.jpg Another question I have is should I just buy the cables I need or buy a kit? Since I don't know what type of cables would work in my PSU I havent been able to search for single cables. Would I need to buy a new PSU? Any tips and suggestions on what to buy would be very much appreciated!

So a friend of mine is recruiting me to build him a PC. His budget is at 2000$ USD, ok, great. I began geeking out over the GALAX GTX 970 HOF, but he then told me he wanted a black and red theme. He also said he needed peripherals, two monitors, keyboard, mouse, and headset. I showed him some keyboards, and he said he likely the ones with the braided cables, because they last not only, but they also look great (I must agree) If anybody wants to know, here is the link: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ICAnderson/saved/TK9Ff7 Note, I have many copies of Windows 8.1 which I will use myself. Friends are friends, right? Anyway, he has about 16$ left over, and I was going to see if there is any way to sleeve the PCIe power cables from the PSU to make them look better. Im prepared for a hassle, I just want to know if this is possible, and if so, where I can find an informational video, or article, and the supplies to do so. Thx, community! I

I would like to order some custom sleeved extensions for my power supply and send my case in for airbrushing. If anyone knows someone who can do either of these please post their email, website, or other form of contact information. I will be using a Corsair AX860i power supply and the Cooler Master Storm Stryker case for my build. Any references would be helpful. Thank You in advance!!!

Hey how do you guys usually keep color coordination on the PSU end when sleeving cables like the 8pin CPU and 24 pins. I'm working on my AX760 and noticed some pins are not one to one with each so the sleeving on the PSU end will be all mixed and not match the connector end. Is it ok to repin a cable as long as it doesn't change the ATX standard connections?

Hi guys, I've done quite a few searches and am having a hard time finding a good ATX pin removal tool. I am looking to use this tool to sleeve my PSU cables. Last time I sleeved I used a homemade tool and it was just too much of a pain so I would like to pick up a tool specifically for the job. I've looked for the Original Molex mini fit tool, but that will end up costing $50+ after shipping to Canada and that is simply too much for me to spend on the tool. I have found a couple of alternative tools, but I am curious if any of you guys have any specific recommendations after using them. I am located in Canada so anything that sells out of Canada would be a bonus. Thanks.

Hello LMG Community! As some of you may know, or not, I am planing to upgrade my PC in a few months. After some tinkering I decided to do a LMG/LTT themed build, but because I'm living in Europe things like sleeved cables are kinda hard to get. Just when I was about to order some samples from oversea, I discovered http://modguru.net. First I have to say that the website is a really beauty and that the chat function is like the most useful thing I've ever seen. Also the Personal is really kind and helped me everywhere they could it didn't took a minute to get a real response from a real person, very impressed. But keep in mind that this "review" is not sponsored or anything like that, wouldn't have anything against it though After 4 days of shipping it finally came to me and I was happy to see that nearly all colors I need match my needs: white, grey, dark grey, black and orange, but because they seem to be really awesome they just sent all colors they have I will show some pictures but to see more and in full resolution just visit this Imgur Album: http://imgur.com/a/WejhU (Please tell which pictures you liked the most) I was so surpirsed by those colors that I made a little Sleeve rainbow ^^ For pictures of every color compared to white please also look at the imgur link: http://imgur.com/a/WejhU After playing around for a bit I took the colors that I'll most likely use for the upcoming build. All colors except Orange really fit my scheme, but I am sure that the guys over at @modguru will figure something out with me about that. So thats it, I really hope that Modguru and many other brands can establish a good modding scene in Europe that is open for newbies like me. Also please visit the Imgur Album http://imgur.com/a/WejhU and tell me which pictures you liked the best, I played around with the lightning a bit. Also sorry for the low quality of those but its best my iPhone controlled by me can do. Any Questions or tips are appreciated If you need some more pictures just tell me Greets C0LL0SS0S
