My setup is a 32" Samsung TV in DVI mode flanked by 2 24" Acer monitors. I haven't found a single way in the AMD control centre that lets me adjust according to the size of my monitors. Everytime i try to set up eyefinity it acts as if they are all the same size and thus nothing is alligning. I've tried almost every combination possible in CCC. HELP PLEASE!!

Hi everyone. I have an P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 motherboard. What is the size of my motherboard? hehe I just wanna know so that If I buy a new motherboard like the H170 I will know what size to buy whether it is Micro ATX or other sizes of ATX so that I will be sure that that motherboard will fit in my case. So I am trying to get some clothes from Amazon and I am wondering if any one has experience with buying clothing off there? Did it fit right? Was it the correct size? I am looking at getting a couple Superdry products because the nearest outlet is an hour away and I have no car and no stores near me carry it that I know of (new in the UK for uni). I also hate going by myself to stores to shop for clothes. So what's your experience buying clothes online/from Amazon? I might also want to get a couple items of Youtuber merch (PhillyD and some others maybe). Any help would be great!

Is anyone else disappointed by the power supply options out there? they're all huge, they've mostly been the ATX standard since it was released in 1995. Sure, there is the SFX size, but there is not an insane amount of support for it. and the picoPSUs, which are often under powered and have an absolutely atrocious power brick, which defeats the point of a small form factor build. I figure the reason PSUs haven't gotten smaller is because there isn't enough push for it. The custom PC community is big, but not big enough to change anything. And small form factor prebuilts usually either have a power brick, or a model specific power supply. It cant be that difficult to make a power supply small. I bet i could fit a 650 watt unit in a 5 inch drive bay. I have a background in automation and understand the basics of how to manipulate my surroundings. A (very) little board repair. I feel like I'm reasonably capable. If anyone could point me in the direction of where i can find what the components in a PSU are and what they do that would be great. Ill probably just reverse engineer a normal one, screw around with the layout, use smaller components, etc. Its just power regulation. I don't expect this to be a small task, but I'm bored anyway, so. I know I'll have to get creative with cooling and such. Have an electrician friend that may be able to tell me if I'm doing something stupid. Ill ask a professor or something before i plug it in. let me know if yore interested in helping. More information if you ask for it, don't really feel like typing out my entire train of thought.

Hello all, I don't know if this topic is suited for this forum but I am not sure where else I can post this. So I kinda got an idea on what I need.. I have the sub and amp already, it is the fuse for the wire and what size wire I need. 1x Sub is 1300W RMS 4ohm DVC which can be wired in 2 ohms. 1x Amp is 1875W RMS at 2 ohms. *Distance of wire needed from battery to back is around 4.5M (15ft). *What I am unsure is how much current they draw, then in which size wire I need? *I was thinking more along the lines of 2 gauge, for the fuse I have no idea as I am trying to figure the maths part out for the current. Any help is appreciated!!

Hi guys. Quick question. I want to buy a new case for under 70 Euros because my current one is small and not well built (Sharkoon VG4-W, about 38Liters of volume). I also want to buy a new cooler for my Ryzen 5 1600 (under 60 euros), but I just don't know what I should get. I need the case to be able to fit a full ATX motherboard, a big videocard (an XFX 7970), 2 3.5" and 2 2.5" drives.I also need it to be able to fit an air cooler or a 240mm radiator because I'm going to upgrade my CPU cooler. A 5.25" drive bay would be nice but I know those are very rare these days. Now I know I could look at a list online, but there are just so many options for cases and coolers, I just can't figure out what to get. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

I understand that axial fans can keep a card cooler and quieter whilst achieving higher clock speeds, but the axial fans used on cards like strix and windforce cards are massive in terms of width and height, and there are always 2 or 3 instead of just 1 so it isn't really fair. I am wondering why companies don't make a massive thick heatsink graphics card like the ROG Strix 2080 ti and instead of 3 axial fans, put one massive (or 2/3 massive) centrifugal fans on it to offer the advantage that centrifugal fans have of much higher static pressure. The noise of larger fans is generally less because they run at a lower RPM, the heat will be exhausted out the case, it seems like a win-win situation! Is there something I am overlooking? I would love to see a card like the Strix 970 have 2 centrifugal fans on it as it would look pretty awesome and wouldn't cook the insides of many small cases with poor airflow. Is multiple centrifugal fans blowing in the same direction (like push pull) even possible? https://imgur.com/a/58PZ13/ (the example of large axial fans vs a single smaller centrifugal fan) - I am a massive fan of centrifugal fans, and I think they are far better than people think but they are also made too small for these applications in my opinion -
Hey, so I just bought a refurbished 2013 15” MacBook Pro, and I’m looking to upgrade the internal storage. So I’m trying to figure out how much acceptable storage is possible in this system, I know 1TB of flash is possible, however I’m wondering about larger capacity such as a 2TB (I have seen some not many) or anything larger.! Now, cost wise I’m sure the 1TB is a great deal, however jumping to 2TB’s seems to be a significant cost increase. is 2TB’s even possible.!? i was thinking along the lines of Samsung’s 1TB 970 evo.

I want to use linux on an old laptop I got but someone told me that I wouldn't be able to boot a linux OS using the USB port so they said burn the files on a blank disc but the only blank disc's I have are only 700mb. So is there a linux OS that's lower than 700mb?

Given the relatively new M.2 small form factor for data storage with high capacity, it seems that the physical size of memory (ddr4 and older) is now disproportionately large to other computer components? I have not seen much on the specs for DDR5, but it seems that if there were an update to RAM in the next few years there would be room for significant improvements. What I would like to see would be something like the following: - Form factor even smaller than SO-DIMM - Larger individual stick capacity - Split channel sticks so that you could have the advantage of dual channel memory on one physical stick, or quad channel on 2 sticks, etc. (it seems you always want memory in pairs of 2 anyway) Benefits that I can see for this type of system would be: - Not having to worry about clearances for CPU coolers - Either : - More room on the MOBO for additional m.2 drives, pcie lanes, usb/fan headers, etc. - A smaller form factor MOBO/ size of a mini ITX or micro ATX with the functionality of a full ATX board - Maintain reasonable upgrade/expansion options (not soldering directly to the MOBO) Cons that I can see would be: - Potential thermal throttling with less area to distribute the heat - Slightly less upgrade-ability - Probably higher costs per GB, both for manufacture and consumer I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this. I'll keep this short I've bought a PC almost a year ago with one stick 8GB of G-Skill Ripjaws RAM running at 2400Mhz. But the problem is I've got the Ryzen 3 2200G processor which requires dual channel RAM for better bandwidth and I've only got the budget now to buy one 4GB RAM stick of a different company running at 2400Mhz as well Will they have any problems or issues while working together? Good Afternoon, i'm looking for a new pc case, i'm currently with a Corsair Carbide Series 275R. Personally would like a bigger case, it's working for the time being but it would be nice having a bigger case that is more cable management room. My motherboard is larger then what the holes that are used for cable management on the case. But i would like a nice design.

Don't mean to be rude or anything, just putting it out there Specs are Ryzen 1800X and RX 580, plus I'll be getting Ryzen 3rd gen which is also AM4, so the same pad should be fine for both CPUs. With that in mind, what sizes should I get? AM4 socket is 40x40, so should I go with a 40x40 and trim it down if necessary to avoid contact with anything else? Or go 30x30 and cover the die? Since the main point of graphite pads is that they can spread heat very effectively over a surface, would it not be beneficial to get a bigger one that will spread said heat over the entire surface of the Cooler's contact point? And I have no idea what the GPU *actual* processor size is, except that this one's die is supposedly 232mm squared, so the 30x30 is probably more than enough? Finally, is it worth covering more of the GPU? Or should I leave the rest with stock cooling? Hey guys, So I have been looking through the different forums with the same topic but not exactly with the issue I have. Or at least I can't find the answer written anywhere. I need to upgrade my ram to at least 16GB since 8 is starting to be low for today's games (BF V). But the problem I have run into is that I have the Corsair Dominator Platinum 2400mh (2x4GB) and they don't sell that any more. I can find 4x8GB but the price is insane! So I have two questions: 1st. - Can I use another 2x4 RAM with same speed, volt and latenzy but different brand? If the answer is yes, is it then possible if it's 2x8GB instead of 2x4GB, so my maximum RAM would be 24GB? Thanks in advance!

I know the ml08h is 14 liters and the node 202 being 10.2 liters but how much of a difference does that make in size? Will I be able to fit the node 202 in a large 17” laptop bag? I want to know before I spend money on the node 202 and change from my existing ml08b-h

Hi All, I'm a lover of smaller phones; I find anything over 5 inches *way* too large. Perhaps my hands are small, or maybe have stubby thumbs; perhaps it's because I only use my phone with one hand. But I want a fast high spec phone with a screen under 5 inches. My previous phone was a Sony Z3C which was a good size; my current phone is a Samsung A3 (2017) which is a little on the large side. However 2GB of RAM is not enough these days, 16GB of internal storage doesn't leave much after a 14GB OS; and it looks like it's not getting updates past Android 8.0. So I throw it to everyone else: what is the best current or upcoming sub-5 inch phone I can purchase?

Hi all, I am currently trying to build a PC that fits in a bureau cabinet: Width = 37cm (14.5 inch), Depth = 70cm (27.5 inch) and Height = 43cm (16.5 inch). 1. Budget & Location My budget for this build is around 1600 euro's without the monitor and peripherals. I live in Belgium but I am happy to buy parts from the Netherlands or Germany as well. Especially the site www.notebooksbilliger.de seemed to have pretty good pricing in general (if you know any better websites in this area please let me know!) 2. Aim & What I already know The aim is to build a PC that can do both gaming (BF1, Fallout 76, NoMansSky, BDO, The Division, GTAV) as well as programs like solid works, inventor, creo, etc. So I was looking at an i7 8700k or a Ryzen 7 2700x combined with a 1080ti. So here is what I have so far: - CPU: Intel i7 8700k or AMD Ryzen 7 2700x - Cooler: CM ML240l or Corsair H100x - GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1080ti Gaming OC - MB: Not decided (Must support Bluetooh, WIFI and M.2) - SSD: Samsung M.2 500GB - HD: Western Digital Blue 1TB - PSU: Corsair RM650x or CM v650m - Case: Not decided (Must support lenght of the GPU, the AIO watercooler, have front usb and start button and fit in the cabinet) 3. Monitors I would like to run one Ultrawide monitor with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 at a refresh rate of 100Hz. 4. Questions a) I only found 1 ATX case that fits all the requirments, being the CM Masterbox e500l. Do you have any other suggestions or should I just go for a mATX case? If so please feel free to give me some suggestions on cases and motherboards. b) What CPU would fit better for my use, the 8700k or the 2700x? (the 9th gen is out of my budget I think) c) I stated that I wanted an AIO watercooler but is that the best option? I was planning on mounting one in the front with two fans, the GPU itself has 3 fans and than I'd have 1 fan going out the back so there is positive air pressure in the case. **UPDATE** The issue is not as it seemed at first. It appears that the disk is indeed nearly full, and the discrepancy is a result of Windows failing to include all files in its calculation of the disks capacity. For example the first folder "Active Projects" in the drive Active Projects shows as being around 200gb, but just one of its subfolders has over 2TB of media. I'm now trying to figure out why Windows is drastically underreporting the amount of data in some folders. Here is the original post: I'm a video editor, and my system has a boot drive and 3 others for media and backups. These 3 drives are: Active Projects (2x HGST 3TB NAS HDDs in an OWC Mercury Electra Pro Dual, hardware RAID 0, 5.28TB NTFS formatted capacity, USB3.1) Scratch (1TB HGST HDD, NTFS, internal SATA3) Backups (8TB Seagate HDD, NTFS, USB3) Active Projects currently has 1.7TB of data stored on it, but Windows reports that it only has 177GB free. There is one hidden file (sync.ffs_db which is used for my backup system FreeFileSync, less than 1MB) and nothing in the recycle bin. Windows thinks there are 5.28TB of files on Active Projects alone, but the total capacity used by Backups (which contains Active Projects, Scratch, and my boot drive) is only 3.74TB. Adding up the sizes of the projects saved on Active Projects and Backups, there is absolutely no way I have over 5TB of media on Active Projects. I have attached many screenshots for your reference, and would be happy to provide any other information to diagnose this. Any idea how to correct this, ideally without reformatting the RAID?
