Hey everyone, I am completely new to the pc build world so I apologize in advance if I dont understand some terms. Im looking to build my first pc. I feel I have enough common sense to build my own but have 0 knowledge on what I need. I'm located in Ontario Canada and looking to spend no more then 1100$ if possible I'm looking to use this as a console/ computer so I would like the ability to run AAA games but also have windows 10. I'm also interested in lots of sim games too (Iracing, flight sim ect) and fl studios so I'm not sure if that requires more CPU power or something. I've looked on pc parts and have seen some builds that look pretty good but want to make sure I'm spending my money in the right places. Im a mechanic and work with a fair bit of electrical and ecm's but have just never entered the pc side of things. Thanks to anyone in advance that read this. Any help/advice is appreciated

Hi guys, am Sam, Nigeria based. Many times some tech guys do come up free internet cheat or hack on the network companies here like MTN Nigeria, Glo Nigeria, Aritel Nigeria and co, but hardly do any of them work. So i want to ask on this platform, is there any real way to get free internet? Secondly, is there any universal mifi modem that can work in any country? and how do the user subscribe to it? Hopping to get some good and positive responds. Best regards Sam

Hello, So i bought the pocophone f1 as a replacement phone for my galaxy j7 sky pro. I just go the phone today set it all up but im having trouble setting up straight talk my carrier before. I assumed that straight talk would work for this phone since it was stated in one of the amazon questions that it does indeed work. I tried using the normal straight talk app and keeping my same phone number. My old phone goes inactive but thats it, even after several reboots and messing with the setting it wont show a sign thats it working but whats od is that the app shows boths ones my new poco phone as active and my old phone as non active and I have switched it back to my old phone then tried it again and nothing. The real thingim wondering is since I bought my sky pro at Walmart as a straight talk phone would trying to use that sim card on a GSM unlocked phone not work or is it maybe something else. I tried entering my sim car number into straight talks website and all it says is that I cant process that number and this is the same that works for my old J7 pro.

By Wheel Setup i mean something that has pedals+wheel doesn't need a shifter since im ok with using padel shifters. Best racing wheel for 400$? No More. I was thinking of a combination from this thrustmaster base which is 160$, this wheel add on which is 95$, and these pedals which are 150$ for a grand total of 405$. If you find something cheaper, that doesn't really change the feel that much, then thats even better

Ive got a Meizu M3 Note, and have recently added the SIM from my work phone to it in order to use the masses of mobile data my work provides. My phone can use both SIMs, and gets a solid connection, but when I set it so that my work SIM is used for mobile data, it stops receiving a connection via my personal SIM. any idea why this would be happening?

The best Of the best Wheel+Shifter+Pedal Combo under 350$? the pedals have to have a clutch, and the shifter has to be an H shifter. You can go ham with everything else. Been looking at a g29/920 and i think their ok, but i wanna ask the community if they have anything better to offer. Thanks for reading and hopefully you can help me out

One time I had taken out and then replaced a sim card in an old phone I was getting ready to sell. I then received a phone call and I saw my old iPhone picked up the call, even though I was using my new phone. I was wondering if I could order a smart watch and just pop in one of my two older sims (with the same phone number) to get calls on the watch. I'm sure I'm mistaken but it makes sense to me. I ask this because I;m thinking of getting a smart watch and if adding 4g to it is that easy and doesn't add any extra charges top my plan then I'll want to do that.

Hiya Everyone. I assume this is the correct place to post this. I have a oneplus 5 and recently got give the option to get a work phone. Rather than carrying around two phones, I decided to look into the dual sim option within the phone. However after a bit of a play around, even though multiple sms apps support dual sim, I couldnt find one which does dual inbox. I dont want to have my personal texts and work texts in the same inbox as it just creates too much clutter. Rather than downloading every app one at a time, does anyone know of a app that supports dual sim & dual inbox? Thanks

I was having 3 (4G LTE) connections to my home, each of from different service provider. I usually use them separately as each has it's own wifi hotspot devices. I was thinking is there a way that I could put all 3 of my sim into one device with will give me 3 times the speed of 4G. which can be given to any of the wifi routers to transmit as wifi. I see an advantage in this setup as we are using 3 different service provider there will be no internet failure or drop in speed. Anyone can suggest a product or a DIY solution or comments or suggestion.

Heya, I'm not sure if this is correct here - it's not really tech, but doesn't really feel off topic either - so tell me if I'm wrong here! Anyway, I'll be going to Spain for a few days, and I'd like to have a pre-paid SIM there. I need mostly data, although voice would probably be good (might just use Whatsapp calls instead though). I'm going to be around Barcelona, taking lots of smaller trips, so I need something with at least decent coverage. I'll stay in La Pineda. My girlfriend will be with me, her network is movistar (according to her it's pretty bad), so another network would probably be smart. There'll be NO WiFi, so I'll probably need something in the neighbourhood of 250MB - possibly more. Any Spanish people who can fill me in on coverage vs price? I don't need LTE - 3G is more than enough - and I can theoretically use two SIMs, but one would only be EDGE. Cheers, John

Hi, i am currently looking at buying a TrackIR. I have found a TrackIR 5 for $135 and a TrackIR 4 for $95. I want to know if there is a big difference between the two. The games i will mainly be playing are Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and Arma 3. Please do not suggest free track or facetracknoir because i have already given them a try, i even modified a ps3 eye and purchased a cheap ir clip and have just decided that i want the real thing (trackIR).

I have a backup phone (Nokia 105) that I keep switched off in a drawer, just incase anything happens my S7. I powered it up today for the first time in ~4 months, and got an error message 'SIM card registration failed', and couldn't connect to a carrier (it's an O2 pay-as-you-go SIM in the UK, had about £9 credit on it). To check whether it was the phone or the card, I put it into my old S3, but it still couldn't connect to a carrier. Is it possible the SIM has been terminated from not being used in months? Could my number have been reallocated to someone else?

Hi there, currently I'm using 4G/LTE MIFI for my wireless connection with PS4, but getting inconsistent and somewhat slowish connections (on PS4 D~20 mbps, U~3mbps; desktop/laptop gets D~45mbps, U~5mbps - both wireless). I was wondering if I get something like Archer MR200/Huawei e5180, put my SIM card in and run a cable to my PS4 - will I get better speed and consistency? Has anyone similar setup? Should I buy a router or just keep using my MIFI (Huawei 5773)? And no! ISP do not offer broadband to my house, only DSL which is even worse than my 4G Thanks for any help.

When using my laptop the WiFi I am often connect to blocks so much content it's almost unusable. I have an unlimited data plan with my sim card, but my laptop doesn't have a sim card slot. (Its a toshiba satellite with an upgraded 850 EVO SSD) What I want to do is be able to shut my phone off, remove the sim, and use it with my laptop. Is there a way to do this easily? I'm on AT&T and my phone is an S6 so I can't just make a hotspot sadly.

My Zenfone 2 recently started acting up: It randomly tells me that there is no SIM card installed. The phone is an Asus Zenfone 2 (Asus_Z00AD) Only have a sim card in the first slot. The phone is currently on AT&T. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do besides RMA.

Hey! Right now my internet speed is 50 kb/s. Yes it is possible. So, I've been reading about it and I've made my decision of going with the SIM card option, since I have a tower quite near from another isp that can provide 4G. I basically only need: -At least one rj-45 Ethernet port; -Some good wifi; -It to be able to port forward (I've read some good reviews on the huawei ones but they seem to have port forwarding problems, correct me if I'm wrong). -It to be compatible with 800, 1800 or 2600MHz (not sure if those have anything to directly do with 4G, I'm quite new to all this); -It to support 4G; In case you were wondering how it feel like, you can't watch 240p videos on youtube without it stopping every 5 secs to load for 10 more, also google.com takes like 3-5 secs to load - would be it in a nutshell. Thanks for the help, have a nice day

I recently bought a used Logitech G27 from Gumtree (The equivalent to Craiglist or something like that in America) and I picked it up in quite a hurry and didn't check much and went home. After getting back and doing some stuff I went to check and setup the wheel and I realized, THERES NO POWER SUPPLY! I started looking for logitech g27 power supplies and found some but they are all from america and the shipping costs about the same as the product itself, i checked ebay and amazon and they both either didnt ship to Australia or shipping cost way too much. I also checked local stores but they dont have any AC adapters that have 24v power, If anyone knows where I can find a logitech g27 power supply or anything that will do the job in Australia (Sydney preferably) please tell me! Thanks

Here is a list of problems I have started to encounter once I switched to WIndows 10: - Aircraft models will not load on home screen - FSX will only run in windowed mode (I have two monitors and when I try running it in full screen mode it just flashes images from the game and a black screen) - Random crash

I am in the middle of buying a new phone and I found one, but the MetroPCS Store I was at was out of stock. So I found one online, and it says it is Unlocked (I believe this means I can switch out my current SIM without having the carrier do it.) I just want to make sure it will work with MetroPCS without going to the store. I heard that I can use any unlocked GSM phone on MetroPCS, but I am not that sure. The phone in question is this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WT9KSE8/ref=twister_B00XZGWW6G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Sorry, I am not a phone guy. I have no idea what a lot of this means. And yes, It is a Lumia...

Hi, I've been given a spear Iphone 4S which used to belong to my cousin but I don't know what carrier it's locked too so I need a way to check via way of the IMEI number. Because it's requiring me to go through the activation process and thus I can't reach the "about" section in the OS. Also I can't ask my cousin as he's not around for at least 6 months. Thank you for you're help in advance

Hi guys, I'm looking for the best flight simulators out there that are both ultra realistic and have decent graphics. I have FSX right now and although it is pretty good, I cannot lie, it is lacking some features that keep it from a true pilot sim (for example, no TCAS or weather radars). Also, I don't mean War Thunder type of "sims" but rather more realistic ones. I'm also interested in combat flight sims too, I have DCS, had it for about 2 years and still loving it! Anyway, input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
