I plan on upgrading to an i7 7700k and an ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero. Im not sure what to do with the spare mobo (only real problem with it is it has a few usb ports that died [thanks razer])( MSI Z87-G41 ), Ram (8gb) and the I5-4570. Nothing wrong with the processer for the most part (just not up to my needs). What do i do with it? Is it even worth selling as a combo? If it is worth selling it what should i sell it for (CAD)? Was thinking around 175).

So, I've got a bunch of consoles and games that I need to sell. I'm just curious as to how other people get this job done because I'm hoping to learn new techniques and faster methods in doing it. Thoughts?

I am going to sell an old laptop of my mothers which has Windows 10. Can I simply use Windows Restart to wipe the hard drive before selling? Or should I use a program to wipe it then reinstall windows 10? Any other pointers would be appreciated.

Hey guys, looking through the various sub-forums, I didn't see a definite place for price check posts. Where would be the best place to put them? If Off-topic is the right place then here's my current build (selling to fund a mining rig). Was looking for a general price estimate on this thing It was a true beast when I first built it, and still can run games at 1080p on medium-high settings comfortably (60+fps). Replace the GPU with something new and it's a 4K ready machine! Would $500 be too much to ask for? I looked around various sources for the prices of the individual components, but found very wide variance. Any advice would be nice! Thanks so much.

So I got a domain from godaddy, I got it in 2010, and I haven't really used it up until now. Which is a waste of my $100/year. So I figured, why not just sell it? I don't know what to do, though. I found out GoDaddy has a domain auction or something like that, but you have to pay a subscription for like $10 a month, what?! I don't wanna subscribe, I wanna get rid of it so I don't have to pay, why are you making me pay? LOL... Not mad or anything BTW. I don't even know how to transfer domain so if there's anyone out there who have done this kind of stuff before, kindly help a fellow linustechtipers here? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I also want to sell a domain from hostgator. Help me fellas! Please please please... PS: Loooooove D'Va!

The GPU I currently have is this one right here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TS455CW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (GTX 980 4GB FTW GAMING ACX 2.0) I have an acquaintance willing to buy my used GPU for $250 USD, is that a good price to sell my used GTX 980 or should I try find something elsewhere?

I got Mafia 3 with my monitor (MG248Q) as part of an Asus promotion. I am inclined to sell the game so I have more money towards a gpu upgrade. Anyone know a good place to sell it? I got the steam key via email and it has not been activated.

My first coupld graphics cards were 2 Radeon 7970's. They look brand new and were just cleaned. I have the box, papers, cables, crossfire bridges, anti-static packaging. How much would you try and sell each of them for?

Hello everyone, I need some help with a thing. So I built my own pc but I'm getting kind of tired of it, it's pretty okay but it's unbalanced, and I just don't have a crap ton of experience building PCs. So I ask of you to help me sell my PC. Or not. What should I do? I want to possibly sell it and buy a prebuilt. I'll list my specs and things, and I just want an opinion and some guidance. Help!! Processor: AMD A10-7870k Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C + 8G 3.90 8.00 GB RAM 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor A68HM GRENADE motherboard MSI EVGA 550 Volt Power Supply And that's my specs! I really want an efficient way to play Destiny 2 with my friends. I also have a GTX 1060 amp! 6gb video card I want to sell. How much do you think I could get for the whole bunch? Also my case is a 50 dollar case that's very simple and basic. What prebuilt PC should I get in replacement? My budget is probably about 1000 dollars.

Thanks in advance everyone, Hodge

Hi, I currently have an MSI GE62 Apache Pro which I bought in August 2015. It has 8gb of ram, gtx 960m and an i7 4720hq. I'm planning on selling this for 2 reasons. 1) I barely ever use it as I have a desktop 2) I could use a different laptop more aimed towards portability and better battery life for use in school I'm aware that the specs aren't top notch, however it is still a great laptop in general and I've looked after it well. I want to get an idea of how much I could sell it for. Also, I'm from Australia so let me know what currency your suggestion is so I can convert it.

So I decided to sell my PS4 and gpu, my ps4 sold within a day of me posting the ad on Kijiji. I listed my gpu ( R9 380x ) for 275 cad, and I had only one offer for 200. Should I look to sell it on eBay? Or Amazon? Or is there somewhere better to sell used GPU's?

Hey guys, I never use this computer anymore. I've got a pretty beefy laptop and it has a graphics card in it so this desktop ever since I took the GPU out has basically just sat on the floor with a sheet over it. What would you start the selling price at? I'm looking to hopefully start a build with the money I can get out of this one. I'll drop specs below. Thanks guys Central United States here System CPU Intel 4770K (No O/C) Motherboard EVGA Z97 Classified RAM 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Dominator Platinums (2133Mhz DDR3) GPU ----------------------------- Case Corsair 600C (Just bought) Storage WD 1TB SE/500GB Green PSU Seasonic 750w (Modular) Cooling -Enermax Liqtech 240 -5x Noctua PPC fans with Cromax white anti-vibration mounts Operating System Windows 10

Heya! This'll basically just be a rant, so do what you will with it. I just bought a new camera, super stoked about it! Nikon D7100, found it at a good price second hand with an extra battery and battery grip. About 2 hours ago I got a text telling me I can pick it up and man do I look forward to that. But I'm also kind of low on cash atm, so my go to option was originally to just sell my old (first) camera. I've been telling myself that I wouldn't care about selling it but now I'm having second thoughts. It's a D5100 and is in as close as you can get to mint condition, was my first real camera. I will get alot of cash the coming months so it's not like I'll ruin myself or anything, have lots of saving I can "borrow" from. Although getting some extra cash just now wouldn't be bad either. I'm not sure, but the thought of letting it go kind of feels bad. Am I just being too sensitive or does it make sense?

No that isn't a type-o for M4000 or P4000... I recently picked up a Quadro 4000 from an old HP business system. I looked on ebay and saw that they were selling for around $200 AUD. I was wondering if this price was correct and worth selling for. I was also wondering what the benefits of keeping the card are. I use Creo Parametric (CAD software), as well as the Adobe suite. I already have a GPU with 2304 CUDA cores so I doubt it is faster. However, I know that some software favours the accuracy of Quadros etc. Should I keep it? Are there any other uses? Is it worth selling? Thanks.

Hi Everyone, I built my first computer around 4 years ago now and am looking to upgrade into something better in order to be both productive and enjoyable in terms of gaming. What do you guys typically do with your old pc hardware? I think recycling my old pc hardware would be a waste as it's still usable and I've never sold anything online or through something like kijiji, craigslist whatsoever. How do you guys go about dealing with your old pc hardware? Is it sketchy to sell old hardware to someone through kijiji or craigslist? I've heard of people being robbed before... is there a way to prevent that? I don't really know how ebay works either ...but I get the general concept. I just don't really know how the seller is protected. Parts I'm looking to sell: i5-3570k (overclocked to 4.6GHz) Asus P8Z77-V LK motherboard Corsair HX 650 - may or may not sell this because it's perfectly good still Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1333 (or maybe it was 1600MHz I can't remember) 2x8GB ram modules (overclocked to 1800MHz) Nvidia GTX 660TI PE OC - power limit maxed, overclocked slightly by 100MHz for memory and 20MHz clock speed. Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD 7200rpm I'm based in Vancouver, Canada if that helps Thanks!

Hi guys!! How do I prepare my laptop for selling? What I mean is, I want to make sure that the next owner is not able to recover my personal information. I want to completely wipe all the files and everything from my Laptop, but I want to keep Windows 10, so that the next owner does not have to install Windows. Thanks!! PS- I am using an SSD and not a mechanical hard drive And if you think that completely wiping the SSD, including Windows would be my best bet, then that is also fine.

Hey all! I recently purchased myself a gtx 1080 ti to replace my 980, and I love it. It got me thinking though, maybe if I put my old 980 back into my computer I could sell it enough to build a new and better PC using Ryzen and Ddr4 ram. The estimated value of the PC is about 1200-1300 bucks. (CAD) Specs: I7 4790k 16 GBs ddr3 1600 mhz Msi PC Mate MOBO GTX 980 EVGA G2 750 PSU The parts I put together on PC part picker (not including my 1080) were about ~$1600 It's a bit more but I don't mind spending a bit of extra. Is this worth it? Should I do it?

Should I sell my Razer DeathAdder Chroma for a Zowie EC2-A?
datboi7321 posted a topic in Peripherals
Hey LTT forum! I play CS:GO VERY competitively, and right now my mouse is the Razer DeathAdder Chroma, it is a great mouse and all, but as some of you may know, the mouse most used by competitive CS:GO eSports players is the Zowie EC2-A, it has an amazing sensor, and one of my friends has one, after I tried it out, I LOVED IT! So should I sell my Razer DeathAdder Chroma to get the Zowie or not?
