What size PSU will fit in the NZXT h510, what are the restrictions, if any? I'm sure the seasonic focus gold will fit its 150x140x86 but for example the g-series is 160x150x86, would that be to big? Thanks in advance!

Its the first build i did and its almost a year old now. Budget wasn't really a problem, i wanted to build something nice and clean and looks like i wanted. Comments are welcome but i'm a bit of an Asus fanboy, i like teh Asus design and never had any problem with Asus products. Hi guys I need a little help. I currently have a Ryzen 5 3600 + GTX 1060 4 SSDs and 4 RGB case fans. I have a Seasonic S12II 520W PSU and it is pretty much good atm. I am planning to buy an 240mm AIO and an RTX 2060 soon, is 520W enough for that?

The GM will replace the Focus, having 7 years of warranty, an 80+ gold rating and semi-modular cables. The GX will replace the Focus Plus Gold, having 10 years of warranty, an 80+ gold rating and fully modular cables. The PX will replace the Focus Plus Platinum, having 10 years of warranty, 80+ platinum rating and fully modular cables. The SGX will not replace any current focus units, but rather starting a new line as an SFX-L, having 10 years of warranty, 80+ gold rating and fully modular cables. The new units are still all single rail, which I'm personally less of a fan of, especially after 650w (which makes it less of a case here, but is applicable for other focus GX units) . This is because of the rare case that undervoltage protection would be ruled out or fail and a rail would drop down in voltage. after this wattage it's likely to burn the cables when this would happen. this is a rare, but not impossible case. This can be toggled with a button on the back, unpressed being in this hybrid mode, and pressed in a normal mode. hybrid mode keeps the fan off up to a certain load, with measurements from Seasonic having it start spinning after 30% load with 25 degrees ambient. the normal mode keeps the fan spinning at a lower rpm at this load, but not passively like the hybrid mode. I personally prefer the normal mode, as it's not noticeable over the fans in my case. The fan used here is a FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing). This is is a Hong Hua HA1225H12F-Z, rated for 2200 rpm at 12v 0.58a. Personal notes - When installing the PSU in my masterbox 5 lite rgb, i found the 8 pin EPS a bit on the short side, as i could barely reach it on my motherboard. I have a Seasonic 650PX and apparently it has coil whine its not loud but its not quiet either. Can a PSU with coil whine damage PC components?

I’m asking because stock cables feels pretty bad especially since I am about to build pc that need to look good. Please tell me something about it and tell me if I need to worry about using extensions exactly in this PSU. So...apparently this can happen more often than one could reasonably expect with Seasonic PSUs if the Internet is to be believed. I bought a new Seasonic Focus Gold 650FX PSU from Newegg a week ago and I've been putting this system together...but then found that the 10+18 modular motherboard cable is backwards from the connectors on the PSU. However, in my case I can't follow the Internet's instructions to just plug in one cable and stretch the other over to fit in its connection, not without slicing the sleeving and zip tie. FIrst Seasonic PSU. Have any other LTT members seen this? Kinda needed this build done this week...guess I'm buying another one locally...

Hello everyone, I have ordered a Seasonic 850W Prime Titanium for my new pc, and I was wondering about its hybrid mode that keeps the fan stopped and only starts spinning at 40% load. I have had very good experiences with Seasonics, my S12 430 and S12 520 are still running smoothly and quietly after 10 years. I don't know if the fanless hybrid operation would benefit the health of the PSU and its fan in the long run, because for me the longevity is more important than being dead silent. So my question is: would the fan be more probable to last longer if it is on continuous spinning (most likely always very low rpm given the 850w power, the system will probably draw 350-400 at highest) or the hybrid mode (not spinning at all for most of the time)? I know the hybrid technology is there for a reason, to use it, but being my first fanless psu, I have concerns that when gaming, the psu could be often near the 40% threshold and keep ramping up and stopping the fan which in the long run would depreciate the fan faster than continuous operation? Thank you!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a new PSU. I had a Seasonic 1000W Platinum one from 2012-2017 that died and replaced it with a 650W EVGA G3 as a temp solution because it was highly regarded and quite cheap at the time. The G3 I have is producing quite a bit of coil whine and I've had a few power issues. I was just wondering which PSUs are currently the best? While 850W may be overkill, I think I'll be going with a regardless. Some of the options I'm currently considering are: Corsair RM850X V2 Seasonic 850W Focus Plus I'm open to other suggestions and would love to hear personal feedback on things like acoustics, coil whine and power stability.

Hi, i need advice deciding between thesee 2 psu. My antec neo eco died, and i thought it was a good power supply, but i just came to meet the psu tier lists and its below medium quality. Since im in a new rig, i wanna invest in a good psu for peace of mind. What i know is that seasonic make their psu, and the corsair one, that particular model is made by CWT. In terms of appeal, im inclined towards the corsair one, and it offer some software that seems useful (altough maybe the info that it gives is the same as hwinfo). I have read a bunch of posts and people Always recommend seasonic, but watching some unboxings i dont know... I know its superficial bus corsair seems better product.

Hello everyone! Yes... Once you hear it you can't unhear it. I've discovered coil whine in my rig yesterday. The low-to-mid pitched, yet very fast clicking/ticking noise appears to be coming out of my GPU. It's especially disturbing since my rig is near silent. The noise appears just as the GPU goes under 3D load. It doesn't change in pitch at all. Once I take away the load the noise stops. I can swap between 100% / 0% load states very fast in Unigine Heaven by pausing and the sound follows the load pattern exactly. I've been using this rig for over a month and didn't notice it before. Could it just appear yesterday? GPU: Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ RX 580 PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W I don't really have another PSU or GPU to swap (no onboard GPU). I have a Seasonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze PSU, My PC specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 2600, AMD RX480 4GB, 16GB DDR4, 1 ssd and 1 hdd. I want to upgrade to a Seasonic Focus GX-650 650W 80+ Gold PSU, it's the best choice in this price range available in my country. My reasons for upgrading are future proofing my PC in case I get a better PSU like an RTX 3060 when it releases or something that needs a better PSU, and because I read that my PSU is apperanly very old model (pre-Haswell days) so I would love to have something new and modern, and it's also fully modular which is always nice to have. I also have random blackscreens and crashes that were never fixed when I changed my old no brand PSU to this seasonic model ( I also changed CPU, MB, RAM ) and the problem persisted especially when I try to OC my GPU, but the problem started occuring much less after cleaning and changing the paste on my GPU. Anyway is the upgrade worth it? considering I will pay around 50-60$ for it after I sell my current PSU Edit: My biggest reason for this upgrade isn't the wattage but the new unit being modular and being more modern and efficient in general
