So I bought a second hand SAPPHIRE PULSE ITX RX 570 4GB GPU (I don't know if it's been mined on or even have a custom bios flashed on to it) and it has this annoying issue where the fan speeds come down very slowly. If the card undergoes load the temperature and fans stabilise at 78/79 degrees C and 3600RPM fan speed, but then as soon as the load is taken off the temperature goes down to 40 degrees C, but the fan speed is still very high. It then takes 10 minutes to drop down to 35 degrees C and 3000 RPM on the fans. ...and probably most annoying of all the GPU seems to jump from 0 rpm straight to to a high rpm when the temperature fluctuates between two discrete temperature values. From a fresh boot and no load on the GPU the fan speeds are very low.In the past, other cards that I've used have their fan speeds and temps drop at the same rate, but not this one for some reason.

I have an rx570, sapphire, on an Asus mobo with an i5. It boots and displays windows just fine on a 720p TV via HDMI, but as soon as I hook it to my 3 1440p monitors it boots, splashes bios, splashes the initial windows loading for a second then I have black screens. I tried DDU and reinstalling Radeon drivers to no avail. I just decided to redo this system and make it a work pc next to my main rig and I am stuck, any ideas?

Hi guys. My GPU died on me recently, and I'm in the market for a new one. I checked my local listings and I managed to find these two. https://www.asus.com/sg/Graphics-Cards/DUAL-RX580-O8G/ http://sapphirenitro.sapphiretech.com/en/580-8.html Under normal circumstances, I understand Sapphire Nitro+ would be more worth it, considering the fact that both are the same price. However, the Asus is new (3 years warranty), whereas the Sapphire Nitro+ is used, and has 2 years warranty left. I know this is more of a subjective matter, but for those who have built their PCs and have had things spoil etc, would you guys recommend the Asus or the Sapphire instead? Also, the Sapphire card is superior to that of Asus, that I know. However, for normal usage (playing CS:GO, and other not-too-demanding games), will I see a major difference in performance if I do decide to go for the Asus in the end? Thanks! I really hope I can get some helpful replies, because there's only one GPU for each, and I'd really hate to see them being sold off.

Hi. Two weeks ago, I returned the card to the reseller, because it had some kind of problems. It’s been two weeks and nothing, either from the reseller or from the card company itself (sapphire) Can you tell me whether this is normal or it takes too long? thank you

Hello Just want your opinion on which 4 GB RX 570 is better in terms of performance & value, ASUS ROG Strix 570 OR Sapphire RX 570. Had good experience with Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 but its fan caused issue after 2 years. (8 years ago ) Price is almost same. So guys what will you suggest among these two I can afford ?

Hi there everyone. Recently, I upgraded my good old GTX 680 to an RX 580 that I bought used. I thought it would be simple and straightforward but boy was I in for a surprise. Before I go further, my system is an i7 3930k@3.2ghz(recently update bios so have not gotten to overclocking yet), 8gb of 1600mhz vengence LP ddr3, Gigabyte X79-UD3, Intel 330 series 240gb ssd and a 1tb seagate barracuda. The RX580 in question is a Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8gb. p.s, the second paragraph highlights my mistakes and stuff I have already fixed so if you are in a rush just skip to the third and fourth paragraph. It all started with the installation, I pulled out my 680 and placed the RX580 into place. It all went well except it didn't boot. There was a bios switch on the card so I flipped it to the other bios and it did manage to post but there were some weird artifacts and the scaling was way off. At first I thought it was just because there were no drivers so I promptly installed AMD drivers. At about 70%, the screen went black, flashed to blue, flashed to the OS and went to black again over and over again. After 15 minutes, I decided to just reboot the system. The moment the system booted and OS loaded, the same flashing of blue screen, black and OS happened. It never occurred to me to check the BIOS version as I had only recently popped a 1060 in the system and it worked fine. So what I did was ask the guy I had bought the card from. He was baffled as he had just ran benchmarks the day before. He offered to refund me my money but I told him to wait a few days while I figure this out. I called a friend and asked to borrow his HIS IceQ RX580 8gb and installed in my pc. No boot. At this point I was panicking as I thought that there was something wrong with my board. Stupidly, I had already sold my 680 so there was no popping that back in to check. After some quick googling that I should have done earlier, I realized that my motherboard bios was outdated so I borrowed my uncle's Gtx650 since I had no on board graphics. Reflashing the BIOS was a pain in the ass as q-flash just flat out didn't work (it said something like outdated flashing utility) and the Included bios file just refused to be mounted as a bootable drive so I had to use @bios (I know, its a terrible idea). After 15 minutes, viola, the damn thing booted. But this was only the beginning of my problems. My Unsolvable problems began right after I booted and installed Radeon drivers. My first problem was scaling. You see, the screen was cutting off on all four sides of the monitor and the windows scaling settings did not solve the problem. It just made the clipping worse. I figured out how to solve the screen cut off problem by changing the HDMI scaling in radeon settings. Problem is, it introduced this lag. Everything was just laggy. Restarting didn't work, reinstalling drivers didn't work and playing around with the settings in radeon settings also did not solve the lag issue. The picture quality was also worse. Everything was just soft and slightly blurry. I googled and everywhere just point to not messing with HDMI scaling and only changing the scaling on windows but NO MATTER HOW MUCH I CHANGED THE WINDOWS SCALING, THE SCREEN STILL CLIPPED. My second problem happened when I tried to run Chrome. I opened chrome and it was just a black window. Nothing. You can drag, close and minimize the window but it was just black. Google's solution seems to be disabling GPU acceleration but I cant really do that with chrome being black and all. There was also a suggestion to change the path of the chrome shortcut and adding : "[space]-disable-gpu" at the end of the path file but that did not work also. Opera browser worked fine so that is what I am typing from. This is my first time using team red's GPU's and I am seriously turned off. Every team green GPU I have used has worked flawlessly. It is a massive shame because this RX580 is a great deal at 50 bucks. It is unlikely that this particular card is defective as the same problems also happens on my friends RX580. I am out of options. Drivers are up to date and everything else seems fine. Please help.

So I completed my build today and I'm facing a ridiculous problem. Whenever I restart my PC from BIOS Setup or Windows it doesn't POST anything. Sometimes it boots but doesn't POST (I guessed it by watching ram's rgb profile changed which I made). But if I completely shut it down and after a few seconds turn it on, it posts and boots perfectly. And all the components just works fine. I ran some games and didn't notice any problems. It's not a ram problem I am sure. I tested both rams individually and both of them were working perfectly. But none of them were able to reboot my pc. So I guess the problem is somewhere else. I also reset BIOS using the button. It didn't help either.PLEASE HELP,My rig:Mobo: MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGECpu: RYZEN 7 3700XRam: G. I recently took the plunge and upgraded my 750 ti which was beginning to chug horribly to the sapphire RX 590 Special Edition that I found an excellent deal on eBay for manufacturer refurbished. In terms of performance, it's fantastic, I'm getting great fps on ultra settings on 1080p on a lot of the games I play (Witcher 3, Doom etc.). However, when playing games, it is incredibly loud, to the point that there's no way I could play anything without noise cancelling headphones on; it sounds like there's an industrial AC unit on my desk. I've checked the fan curve, and the fans are at about the lowest they can be whilst still giving a sensible temperature under load. I've not overclocked it at all, it's just running at stock speeds. It's currently in a fairly small form factor case which puts it right above a hot PSU (EVGA Hadron Air), so I'm wondering whether getting a bigger case and giving it more room to breathe will bring temps and noise down or if it's just a really noisy card. Was just wondering if anyone has this card or a similar sapphire card in their set up as has found the same issues. Was considering upgrading my case anyway so if its worth it I'll do it, but if it's just a hot, noisy card no matter how much air it gets, it's gonna be going back on eBay real soon. Any help/comments would be greatly appreciated.Cheers!

Hello. I'm new to computer building and recently built a PC. My problem is, when I decided to test my RX580 in Furmark, video card just shutdown after 5 minutes at 76° but fans and other parts remained working. After I did hard restart I haven't got any warnings from drivers. I believe that my PSU is too weak maybe? GPU is behaving normal in all games I play. I have Sapphire Rx 580 nitro+ 8gb Special Edition graphic Card. I am going to buy new psu cause my previous psu got wear and teared down. This psu fits to my budget. Is it good? "Cooler Master MWE gold 650w fully modular". I had run power supply calculator and got 459w usage and recommend 520w psu. I have done many research for good psu and known about all that never cheap on psu........this is heart............blah blah blah. BUT I AM ON A VERY TIGHT BUDGET. (PKR. 12,000) I have checked the tier list but its not there. My friend has this and he had got no problems. Also, I am going to buy offline and these two are the budget one available for me. (But u guys can look on internet for a similar price psu according to your area.I would just find it locally near me.Thanks) My pc specs: Dell Precision T3500 Intel Xeon W3530 2.8GHz Sapphire Rx 580 Nitro+ 8gb SE 500GB seagate 5.9k RPM HDD Redragon S101 keyboard mouse set 4*2GB DDR3 RAM. I also checked the Crosair VS650w white 80 plus psu. It also fits in my bugdet but is it better than cooler Master MWE gold 650w? Thanks

Hey. My friend has a damaged Sapphire Vega 64 Nitro+. He dropped it, and was afraid to put it into his PC. He is willing to give it to me for cheap, and I thought there is a chance that it will be working. I'm thinking - is it worth getting it, or is it a total waste of money, and it will only be a good item to put on my desk as a decoration?

I have recently purchased an RX 570 Sapphire pulse 4GB card and getting the max temp of 77degrees Celsius at full load in different benchmarks and games. I want to know is it OK or is it higher than it should be? Also, I noticed that after 74 degrees the GPU starts to throttle and the core clock drops from 1284MHz to almost 1200MHz and sometimes the clock goes down to 1150MHz. So, is it normal for this card to throttle at these temps.? Thanks All,

Hi guys. Christmas is coming and I will get a graphics card. I used to have a gtx 760 that died almost two years ago and I think it´s time to become a gamer once again lol. The thing is that i´m from argentina and well, our economy isn´t the best so the best I could buy is an RX 570 4GB. There is a very well known place here that has the best prices and they have the MSI armor 4GB and the Sapphire Pulse 4GB at the same price. Which one should I get? I couldn´t find a proper comparison between them and the only difference I have seen is that the Sapphire one has a backplate. Help me bros

Hi, I just built a new PC this past weekend, CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x GPU: Sapphire Pulse 5700 xt RAM: Corsair vengeance 16gb 3200mhz MOBO: ASUS TUF-Gaming plus x570 (without WiFi) MEM: Western Digital 1TB SSD I actually have been talking about this on the steam forums under total war Warhammer II but I thought it prudent to come here. Basically, out of the two benchmarks in game to use, the skaven benchmark being the more intensive one, I average only about 53 FPS at ultra preset setting with v-sync on. Two points in the battle the FPS dips down to 44, and the last few seconds of the benchmark it dips as low as 33. Additionally, I ran a battle with Tomb Kings and Vampire counts with a variety of units and magic, and once the battle started it was difficult to hit 60 again (same ultra preset). Zooming in and around saw as low as 27 and playing normally saw roughly 40-55. Really I‘m just trying to determine if this performance is totally normal, or whether there may be some fault with my system or software/drivers. Users on steam seem to suggest I should be getting much higher average frames for my system. Drivers are up to date, BIOS as well. Thanks for your time.

Hello, everyone! I'm just wondering what RX 580 model I should buy, Im making my PC in early 2019. Here are my options: SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 580 8GB ASUS Dual OC RX 580 8GB (Yes, I know there aren't many options, cuz the cards fit in my price bracket, they have the same price here, other cards are out of stock, or more expensive.) Thanks in advance!

This question has been asked quite a couple of times before, but for the life of me I just cannot make up my mind in regards to 3 particular models.1) MSI RX 580 MK2 8G OC (8Gb DDR5 RAM)https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/Radeon-RX-580-ARMOR-M...2) Asus GTX1060-O6G (6Gb DDR5 RAM)https://www.asus.com/sg/Graphics-Cards/DUAL-GTX1060-O6G... 3) Sapphire Pulse RX 580 8GB (*Gb DDR5 RAM) http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?lang=eng&pid=77B48A1E-9FCB-4F19-BC2D-17C3087E4852I have done extensive research and came up with some pros and cons of each, but I still need some advice to push me towards my final choice. Something to take note is that I'm buying them off a website similar to EBay, but the MSI and Sapphire is "new" (never used before, but box is opened) while the Asus is used (but slight usage only, according to the seller). The warranty is also a few months longer for the MSI and Sapphire one as compared to the Asus one, while the Asus one is $30 cheaper. The MSI and Sapphire ones are both new and the exact same price (And no, I don't care about the color scheme, no worries there!)For myself, I am in the market to get a new graphics card because my last one spoilt a couple of days ago. Reading online, this is the sweet spot for a mid-tier graphics card to play most game titles at 1080p on max settings. But, my main primary use will still be for coding (not sure if GPU comes into play here). If it matters, this is my current setup:i5-3570K (Ivy bridge)Z77 chipset (Asrock)8GB Corsair vengeance ram (DDR3)750W Seasonic Gold Power supplySamsung 860 Evo Pro 500GB SSDWD 500GB HDDMSI / Sapphire Pros1) Performs better in most games (according to benchmarks)2) Can implement FreeSync (which has a lower barrier to entry as compared to GSync monitors which are much more expensive. I don't have either a FreeSync / GSync monitor but may pick up one in the future)3) More VRAM, though I heard this doesn't make a difference once you go beyond 3 / 4GBMSI / Sapphire Cons1) Slightly more expensive ($270, but never used before)2) Based on spec sheet, max clock speed is only 1380MHz compared to Asus 1809MHz3) Runs hotter and draws more powerAsus Pros1) Runs cooler and power consumption is much lower2) Higher base clock and max clock3) Less expensive ($240)4) I heard(not sure about this) that GTX1060 performs better in productivity tasks as compared to RX 580Asus Cons1) Runs GSync (more expensive)2) Used; as compared to MSI which hasn't been used3) Lesser VRAMSo there goes my dilemma. I really hope someone can provide some insights and suggestions as to which one I should buy. This might be asking a bit much, but I really hope that someone could take a look at the 3 links and give me some advice regarding the pros and cons of each model and let me know which one I should get. Thanks so much!

Yesterday i bought this card, so i faced some weird problem like msi afterburner,Sapphire trixx, gpu-z and others software like these are isn't showing gpu temp, core clock, fan speed etc etc,,i thought gpu has sensor issue, but i checked wattman and the wattman showing everything that's mean the sensor is working, and someone said it must be software problem since it's a new card. So as he said i'm waiting for next updates, But today i checked that gpu fan keeps spinning if i add a custom fan curves, i know if i add custom fan curve than i'll spin everytime, but tried resetting the wattman settings, turned on 0RPM fam,,but still it's spinning, Then i reinstalled the Radeon driver then the fan stopped spinning, but if i again add a fan curve then i cant stop it from spinning even if i reset the whole settings. It's my first time using amd gpu's and i'm really disappointed with their software

Hi, I have Thermaltake Smart SE 730w PSU which is i know its not good psu, but can it power my rig? am having black screens momentary when trying to overclock the gpu. I dont understant required Amps needed, or single or double rail.. The guide says that the 12v rail will provide 57amps, is this enough? My cpu i7 4790 draws around 50watts, my gpu draws around 200 watts and sometimes reaching 230 watts. Is the psu enough.? I dont want to damage any components. Thanks,

Hello, I was playing PUBG (PC emulator edition) when my GPU temperature has reached to 83 °C and the fan speed was 10%, so i quickly opened Sapphire Trixx app since my fan curve doesn't work unless the app is running. The temperature went down to 40-45 °C quickly as the fan speed was 20-30% and stayed there for the rest of the match. It was weird since i know that game doesn't use the GPU that much and my fan was at low speed too. I mean the default fan curve wouldn't let the GPU reach 80 °C before increasing the fan speed. The GPU temperature is between 58 and 68 during intense games such as Witcher 3, NFS Payback, Rise of Tomb Raider using the custom fan curve. so i doubt any overheating issues. Is the default fan curve somehow bugged? GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB (Dual-Fans) I got one fan in the back of the case (Cougar MX310) and the AC is on (21 °C)
