Is this PSU good enough to power my future Ryzen 5 2600x and RX 570, I plan to try to overclock my CPU. I just want to know will my PC explode in like 2 months or no, it has 3 years warranty if that matters. https://imgur.com/gallery/wJ0JVKd

Hi. I am selling my PC for around $500 and building one similar to LTT's Holiday 2018 $500 budget PC build, but I ran into a problem. I am planning to record using the PC I plan to build. My first question is, can I use the nVidia GTX 1050 Ti in a machine with an AMD processor (I am used to using Intel, but I wanted to make the switch), and if so, should I use the GTX 1050 Ti in the system, or an RX 570? This is the GTX 1050 Ti I was thinking of getting: https://www.newegg.com/msi-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-gtx-1050-ti-gaming-x-4g/p/N82E16814137054 And I know the RX 570 is more powerful for gaming, but if I have to use my CPU for encoding, I have found that it's a much bigger threat to your system than NVENC. If the RX 570 does have an encoder worth it's time, and it's better than the GTX 1050 Ti, that would be good.

Should I get this gpu? https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Radeon-Gaming-Graphics-ROG-STRIX-RX570-O4G-GAMING/dp/B06Y5WGXX3 I live in South Africa and right now it is on sale for 170 USD. I have RX 570 4GB and I'm ready to upgrade and im not sure what's the best option. I was thinking buying 1660 ti or 2060. I'm upgrading because of AAA+, competitive games(ALWAYS LOW SETTINGS). I got a 144 HZ monitor and my rx 570 just cant handle to hold 144 fps at all time. (intense situations dropping to 70-80 fps)fortnite,apex........ what is your opinion? thanks for help

HI Everyone, So I'm looking into building a pc for 1080p video editing with gaming on the side. Right now I'm looking into the GTX 1650 with consideration for the RX 580 or 570. Which one would be best for a build under $600? I plan to use Da Vinci Resolve 16.

I just got this PC just like 5 months ago but I wasn't satisfied with the performance. I know I should've saved up some money before purchasing a much more better CPU. Right now I'm planning on having this old parts, i'll give it to my girlfriend for her workstation. So my specs are: i3-8100 8GB ram 2666mhz Rx 570 4gb Thermaltake 500W PSU Asus H370-f ASUS VX278H Gaming Monitor - 27" FHD I would really appreciate any feedback from you guys. And if you could in which order do i need to purchase the parts.

Hello. So about two weeks ago I put together a Ryzen 2600 + RX 570 build. It has worked just fine until the last couple of days. Two days ago the PC bluescreened while idle. After a reboot things seemed fine until I watched youtube for a few minutes, and graphical glitches such as this appeared. I first thought it might be an issue with Firefox since I didn't notice the issue in Chrome. However after trying to play some games it was clear the issue was bigger. Sims 4 ran fine for a couple of minutes before going black, my monitor displaying the "no signal" message, and the computer freezing up (keyboard and mouse included). Some times it crashed to desktop, other times I had to force the PC to shutdown. After a crash or reboot the Radeon Software always displayed the "Default radeon wattman settings have crashed and been restored due to unexpected system failure" Far Cry 5 did the same during the loading screen to get into the game, same for DA: Inquisition. So I don't think what games I play matter. So, I re-install my graphics drivers - no difference. I uninstall the graphics drivers in safe mode and install an older version of them - no difference. I do a clean install of windows 10 and I let windows deal with the drivers (so I didn't download drivers from AMD). And hey, it worked! For about 1 day. At this point it's even worse, as the graphical glitches I experienced on YouTube now appear on different sites too. However it still seemed isolated to Firefox (maybe it uses GPU acceleration?). Games still crash, but now tend to show those glitches before doing so, and I no longer get the "no input" from my monitor, and it seems to only crash to desktop. The Radeon Wattman message does no longer appear. Here is an example of me trying to play Skyrim. Things I've tried: Driver reinstall & older driver Clean OS install Windows RAM Error test thingy (no issues) GPU stress test - Furmark (no issues, no glitches no crashes, fine thermals) CPU Stress test - Prime95 (no issues, good thermals) RAM Stress Test - VMT (no issues) Disabled RAM overclock in BIOS (no difference) Updated BIOS So I'm scratching my head here. Especially since there are no issues in Furmark, yet in games it just doesn't seem to work. Since the card worked fine for almost 2 weeks I'm fearing that it's a hardware issue (it also worked fine for 1 week before that in an older system) As I'm writing this my screen just flashed black for a second, oh god help me. Anyone have any ideas? Full system specs: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-I GAMING AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2x8GB Sapphire Radeon RX 570 Pulse Mini 4GB Corsair CX600 600W PSU

Should i buy the rx 570, or the second hand gtx 1060, or wait for the release of Navi. I've just watched this video recently Which makes me think that the rx 570 is as close as beating the gtx 1060 or even beat it already. The gtx 1060 used to have better performance than the 570, and also has a lower power consumption, but i still tolerate the power consumption of the rx 570, but not the rx 580. I'm not going to spend more than IDR 3.300.000 so the choices are new rx 570 or second hand gtx 1060. And also should i wait for the upcoming Navi GPU?

What do u guys think should I upgrade my rx 570 4gb to rtx 2060 super 8gb.

Hi guys! I just got my RX 570 from Gigabyte (Gaming OC), and I installed it and powered up the system. First try, the screen detects something but nothing happened. Blank screen. The GPU's RGB LEDs are working though, just like the fans. I try a second time, and surprise! It displays something. Since I have an old (2012-2014) motherboard, it showed me the Intel screen, where post codes are shown, and only one, 5A, is showing. I tried the BIOS, but everything seemed to be frozen. What could be happening? M-Board: Intel DQ35JO CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 570 Gaming OC PSU: EVGA 450 80 PLUS BRONZE Also, since the drivers are coming in a CD (What a wonderful idea.) I didn't installed them. Could it be the problem? Thanks guys! P.S. I also included a short video of what it does. 20190729_211552_001.mp4

Brand new PC build, with fresh installation of Windows. BIOS and safe mode display without issue, but when normal Windows loads the screen immediately "crashes" - cycling through black screen, blue monitor idle and a glitched version of desktop every 2 seconds or so. This happens immediately upon installation. Once, somehow, it booted in to windows without doing this and I was able to install the motherboard (AMD chipset driver [19.10.16]) and GPU drivers (Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.1.3) but once rebooted the same flickering/crashing issue returned. Occasionally (1 out of 10 times) the GPU fans will suddenly accelerate right before this glitch occurs for a second or two, then return to lower speed. I will fedex tacos to whomever makes this torment cease. Thank you for looking. I have an AMD A6-3650k APU and an XFX RX 570 4GB. My pproblem is that since my mootherboard wont boot from the 570 ( I knowthe cpu bottle necks but I cant afford an upgrade yet unless you lovely people will donate your old hardware ) I can't set it as the primary device and try to disable the iGPU. Windows update keeps trying to install a driver for the 6530D and breaking everything forcing me to reinstall radeon software? Any thoughts on stopping this from happening? I'm on Windows 10 Home 64

Hey guys,Hope everyones good!!So basicalllyyyyyyyy I'm not that great in terms of PC stuff butttt about 10 months ago i built a gaming rig. The specs are as follows :CPU - Ryzen 3 1200GPU- Radeon™ RX 570 Gaming 8GStorage - 1 WD 1TB & 1 120GB SSD WDMotherboard - gigabyte a320m-s2h PSU - 500W EVGA RAM - 1 X Crucial Ballistix Sport LT Red 8GB DDR4-2666 Just a budget rig because I'm a student and thats what I was able to buy . So I used to get around 120 fps on high in BF4 and around 100 high on fornite. But all of a sudden I now get 40 on high in BF4 and really bad stutters in fornite and the fps is around 50 on medium/high. I'm like really sad LOL because i spent all my money on this PC and now all of a sudden its not working properly. Also my monitor is a VGA monitor so i use an adapter from the GPU to get the display. Just thought i should mention that. Also i did an benchmark on a website and its saying that my gpu is performing way below expectation. No idea what to do. Not too great with like temperatures and stuff like that so i haven't really touched around with anything because I'm afraid i might like break the PC components. My amd software is all upto date along with my bios version being 42a. I did a valley and heaven benchmark and the scores were - valley = 3394 and heaven = 3412. I have no idea if its good or bad. Should I change my monitor to a freesync one? Should I return my GPU?Please guys I would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks

I recently got a Sapphire RX 570 Nitro+ 4GB video card. Its declared maximum consumption is 195W. The card has two power inputs: one main, 8-pin (or 6+2), and a secondary (and optional) 6-pin for overclocking. The PCIe slot provides 75W, the 8-pin plug provides 150W, and the 6-pin plug provides 75W. But only the 8-pin cable is required to pass the 195W limit (75 + 150 = 225W, over 195). On the other hand, my source does not have an 8-pin (or 6+2) plug. Since it is physically compatible, can I insert a 6-pin plug into the 8-pin slot and have the second plug in the secondary slot? (Because 75+75+75=again, 225W) Update: As of June 2021 it worked without any issue.

Howdy tech-gods, I have the following PC configuration: - CPU: Ryzen 5 2400G - RAM: 2 x 8 GB Patriot DIMM DDR4-3000 - Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-DS3H V2 with latest chipset-driver and BIOS update (F2) - power supply: be quiet! 400W System Power 9 80+ bronze - Case: Sharkoon VG5-W red, Tower - Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Lately I have bought the graphics card "Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 570 8GB" and plugged into the PCIEX16 slot in the motherboard and connected with an 8-pin connector to the PSU. The graphics card is connected to the display (Acer Predator XZ271) via a display port cable. With the driver automatically installed by the Windows 10 (according to device manager driver version 22.19.162.4 from 24.04.2017 (!) everything works flawlessly. As soon as I install the AMD recommended Radeon software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.1.1. I got major issues. When the installation is about at 30 %, the display starts to black out for serveral seconds, comes back for like 2-3 seconds then blacks out again and so on. It is impossible to do anything with the PC. I also tested the drivers - before removing the old drivers via DDU - Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.3.1, Adrenalin 2019 Edition 18.12.2 and Adrenaline Edition 18.9.3 and had no success with any version. It always works like this: The driver is installed normally up to about 30%, sometimes to about 70 %, then the dropouts start and the PC becomes unusable, even after the driver is finished, these dropouts remain (a restart does not help). I then have to manage somehow to get into the Windows 10 safe mode and uninstall the Radeon driver by DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). I tried further to uninstall all AMD related drivers with the AMD tool to do that, but still, no success. Also a complete Windows 10 reinstallation did not help. Further, I disabled the intergrated graphics of my CPU/ APU in the BIOS but that didn’t help either. It’s not the monitors fault, since it works fine with other PCs. I also tested the Displayport cable on other hardware; the cable works fine. In addition I tried hooking up the GPU to the display via HDMI cable but it didn’t work out as well. A hardware defect - at least for the graphics card - I consider possible, but rather believe that it is a software / drivers issue, because the RX 570 basically works with the old Windows driver. I am also aware that the power supply with 400 W is rather tight; however, I do not think it's the limit; also I guess that the PSU is of quite good quality. Nevertheless, I have read in another forum that in similar cases a faulty CPU caused such problems... Is there a way to test that? I‘ve reached out to AMD to solve the problem, but they just told me to remove the Radeon driver through DDU and install the latest optional Radeon driver which didn‘t solve anything... Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, I just built my first pc and it took some time for the parts to arrive. The GPU (MSI RX 570 Gaming X 4G) was the last part and by then I had already setup my pc. I put my RX 570 in with the 8 pin connector and tried to boot up my pc. The first thing I noticed is that the gpu turned on, but no display or anything came up. So I switched back to my MB's VGA Port and installed the drivers thinking that that was the problem. Rebooted my pc but it still didn't come up. So I went to device manager and I realized that the gpu isn't even listed there. Also not listed in BIOS. What could be the problem? Also I don't have a spare pc to test this GPU in :((((((( Here are some things I have done: Flashed BIOS, Reinstalled Windows, and DDU'd all my integrated graphics drivers.Specs: CPU:G3258 @ 3.2 Ghz (terrible bottleneck sadly, will upgrade soon tho) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-ds2 rev 3.0 Ram: Single stick 8gb ddr3 PSU: Some branded one I took out from a HP pavilion. it says 385W max. (It says delta electronics so I am guessing that is the brand) GPU: RX 570 Gaming X 4G MSI Note: I am currently using a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter because the psu doesn't have an 8 pin connector only has a 6 pin. Feel free to ask for details as I am always online! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
