Heya! I've recently benched my RX 570 4GB and my newly obtained GTX 1080, and put the results in a nice little spreadsheet that's somewhat easy to compare! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NIjFQUxIsiAUIUc0YsQWtXEAh1dNWcVyUJBOpR98R_4/edit#gid=1604616601

Hello! Helping a friend. My friend has bought a used RX 570 (Note: The card isn't a year old, and the seller tested the gpu before giving it to my friend irl) whenever he tries to open up a game, (Games opened: Valorant and Pacify), a bunch of lines would pop up on his screen, and the game would crash, sometimes the pc would freeze and he needs to force shutdown the pc, but most of time, it would display a "Driver Timeout" error. His windows is up to date, we have tried using DDU and reinstalling drivers, we have also tried using old drivers, we have also tried enabling the fans of his gpu to stay on at all times because his gpu fans would stop when nothing much is happening on his pc. Specs: I5 7400 GIGABYTE RX 570 4gb 450W PSU 16gb DDR3 Ram

A friend asked me way back on the Philippines about this aisurix rx 580 as i know nothing about this type as i never heard of it nor my friend. Some say on internet it's a 570 in rx 580 skin.

Quick question. I'm going to be throwing a pc together from my old parts. I just don't know which would be better to pair with the FX 6300. Should i go GTX 970 or RX 570 4GB. Lastly I already own both cards so I'm not buying anything new

Game plays fine nothing in the menu but these weird black splotches appear when it seems to get darker.

so i repasted my xfx rx 470 yesterday after putting it up for sale for a while i decided to put it back into my system. the new pasting made it cooler but it still is loud as it was before. i feel like the fans are giving out. because this gpu was quiet and cool before i cleaned it a few years ago. after i cleaned it in around 2020 it got loud and hot but after recleaning yesterday now its only loud. have i damaged the fans the first time around ? should i get the fans replaced? should i be using new thermal pads as the old ones are kinda ripped apart and i just took bits and pieces and put them on the supposed things they go on. here's some clips so you can hear the audio and sorry for the messy text. i wanted to tell everything in as little as possible. also ignore the beeping sound its someones car being robbed outside i think. 1) idle 2) in game 3) yesterday right after pasting it sounded so weird and that was at 1000rpm only. Powercolor RX 570 Red Dragon 4GB (ex mining, most likely) consumes only 80-100 watts while it should be 120-150 watts. Tested on both BIOS. Performance in gaming is worse than RX 470D (which is worse than regular RX 470). Only 38 fps in Shadow of the Tomb Raider High Preset while the RX 470D gets 46 fps. AIDA64 benchmark also worse than other RX 570. Especially in Memory Read which is only 1.6GBps while it should be at least 6,3GBps. Things I have tried: - reinstall driver. - update driver to newest. - switch to mining BIOS and install-patch driver. - clean with DDU and reinstal driver. - Reducing core clock to 1.100v. - increase power limit to the max. - reset mobo CMOS. Things I haven't tried: - reflashing the card BIOS. - using different PSU. - using whole different computer. - repasting and cleaning the card. - overclocking the card. - begging the card to work harder. Notes: - Mobo and Windows always set to maximum performance. - max CPU temp is 77°C. - using 6+2 pins PCIe cable. It should be enough for a 120w card. - the card's back plate is too hot, I think. - but the sensor says it never goes beyond 76°C. - my dead RX 470D can consume 120w just fine with the same PSU. My old PC: i7 4770 Asus Z87-K 12GB RAM, 1600MHz FSP Hexa+ 400 Windows 10 21H2. --- Update: okay, the weirdest thing just happened. Not sure if it's related or not. My i7 4770 non K peaked at 4GHz just now. It never do that in the 5 years I own the CPU!

I'm building a pc for my gf, budget of about £500/USD600 (+-100). She'll mainly be using it for light gaming (Sims, Civ 6 etc), browsing and work. I've got this planned so far, wondering if people have any comments or would like to even propose an entirely new build for me, I'm all ears. Much appreciated! PS: the £81 RX 570 was a manufacturer refurb card that was recommended to me. I'm unsure about the case, as I've read reviews about it having poor thermals. can anyone explain how this is possible? im running my rx 570 through my motherboard output and getting it at 100% usage in dota2. my gpu is a mining version so only 1 dvi output, i have a hdmi only new monitor, so what i did was connect my new monitor to the motherboard hdmi out and made the integrated gpu as the primary display device thru bios and had it as the main display where i ran the game. im puzzled as this only works for dota 2, while in other games the pc uses the igpu which i set to force 64mb only igp memory. has anyone else tried this? i know its possible for an nvidia card as seen in the p106 video with linus and anthony, but none for amd ones.

This is a follow up topic as i said before my friend bought rx 570 red dragon 4gb gddr5 and he has Intel Cleron j1900 quad core 2.0 Ghz up to 2.42Ghz.Also he has 8gb ram ddr3.So my question is will there be bottleneck without upgrading processor?

Hello, I need your help with this. The thing is that my rx570 is bricked (thats what I think), It cant get into windows even when i´m using another video card (GTX 750 ti). This happened like 3 months ago, I was using my PC normally and a grey screen appeared (really strange) and the pc was stuck like that for about 2 minutes, then I restarted it and it wasn´t showing nothing in the screen. I´ve bought the 750 ti to replace the broken card, so since a few days i´m triying to fix it in a way. It gave me errors when I wanted to install amd drivers, like the blue screen because of "THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER", reinstalled windows and it was the same. I tried to flash the bios of the card with a pendrive and some tools I´ve found in YouTube, I selected the pendrive as boot option then did all the steps given in the video I watched, but it said "adapter not found" then the ERROR 0FL01 appeared. The rx570 isn´t recognized by windows when it was conected with the 6 pin power supply wire, it was in hidden devices. So that is the whole thing, I hope you can help me. Thanks

Been using the following spec and system for around 5 years now: i5 3570k 16gb DDR3 ram 500w psu (gigabyte ga-z77x-d3h motherboard) EVGA GTX 960 2gb Short story: I was replacing my gtx 960 to the one I got from a friend which is RX 570 4gb reference model, that was from his Dell inspiron tower (used for 1 year). I also have RX 580 4gb that I bought from Ebay. Desktop turns on with fans spinning and LED lights on mouse and keyboard, but no signal on monitor tried Hdmi to Dvi-d cable, no signal. Tried different monitor with hdmi to hdmi..no signal. Things Ive tried is CMOS, Reseat rams, diff PCIE slot Update: so, here is what bios looks like using my old GTX 960 and looking at Bios https://ibb.co/n17HxB2 https://ibb.co/JQm8D9d Window is installed on Legacy https://ibb.co/8Xw1MSJ I have a feeling that its about bios..but idk what to touch and try. HELPS!!

Hey everybody. Sorry for my bad english.. I have an RX 570 saphire single fan edition.. it is about the same as other rx 570s it is just underclocked to 1264 mhz.. since the original fan of the cooler was broken by a mistake.. i attached a decent fan with it and surprisingly it was giving me even better temps then original.. i overclocked the card 1400mhz which i couldn't do with the original cooler.. since i overclocked my card in winter now it is summer in my country and it get quite hot.. my card is now hitting 70c which is the temperature limit of that card for some reason.. i tried everything i increased the temperature limit with msi afterburner but didn't get any result.. as soon as my card hits 71c it starts throttling.. i also tuned my voltages but still it is hitting 70c.. i reapplied the thermal paste but still got no luck whatsoever.. since in my opinion 70c is not really dangerous for the card.. i was thinking that is there any way to increase that limit? And also increase the power limit if that's a case.. is it possible to edit vbios in such a way that those thing will increase.. since msi afterburner doesn't help .. Hoping for your replies

Hey guys, I found this RX 570 4GB being sold online for a decent price but I'm worried if it is a fake. It's manufactured by Sparkle computing co. ltd but I haven't found any evidence of them ever producing amd cards but the seller included a gigabyte start up manual so I'm already quite confused. The GPU-Z specs show its an rx 570 but I'm concerned the seller could have flashed an rx 570 bios. Even though he has shown the serial number stickers and everything I am still quite unsure if I should go ahead with the purchase. Anyone have any ideas if it is legit or not?

I got this PC last year, usually i only play league of legends so performance was always good. But recently i tried playing battlefiled 1 and it was literally unplayable, it can barely reach 30fps. GTA V is also getting really bad fps, around 30-45fps. My drivers are up to date. I just can't figure out whats wrong. Please help Specs : mobo - asrock a320m-hdv r4.0 Graphics card = Asus ROG Rx570 4GB RAM - Hyper Fury X 8GB HDD - 1TB Western digital SSD (boot drive) - 256GB PSU - Cooler master Masterwatt 550W

Please help, I don't understand why my PC is underperforming so much. My cinebench score is 1311 which is pretty close to the other systems of the same specs in the results which is 1344. I also checked gpucheck. com and it shows that my build should have no problem running games like battlefield 1 at 1080p. However my PC can barely run it, the game is barely playable, i get around 25-30fps at 1080p, even on low settings the game is not playable. I have tried different version of drivers with no improvement at all. Even GTA V which is a pretty old game by now struggle to reach 60 fps at high settings and sometimes dipped to 27-30. Even league of legends, a game that should run on onboard graphics can barely stay constant 60fps on my pc. In most of the games i've tried my cpu usage is constantly 100% except for league of legends. I've been told that it could be because i'm running a single channel RAM is that true? Could that really cause my PC to run games this badly? And some say that my CPU is the problem, so should i upgrade to a ryzen 5 2600 and dual channel RAM? please help! Specs: Ryzen 3 2200g Asus ROG Rx 570 4GB HyperX Fury 8GB single channel Asrock a320m-hdv r4.0 Coolermaster Masterwatt 550W 256GB western digital SSD (boot drive) 1TB HDD western digital Edit: Yes, my monitor is plugged to the GPU not the onboard hdmi port.

Hello! It's been a while since I've been on here. But I'll make this quick. I'm considering upgrading my current GPU to an amd rx 570(8gb model no OC, if it matters) from a gtx 1050. My main concern is wattage and running too close to my PSU's reccomended wattage. Here's a list of my specs Seasonic 430w bronze rated psu Ryzen 2200g Gtx 1050 One HDD and an nvme m.2 SSD After some quick googling, my CPU at full load pulls around 70ish watts and the RX 570 pulls a little less than 300, bringing the system power draw to 370 watts leaving 60 watts overhead for the rest of the system. This is my first GPU upgrade so I'm not sure if that's too little for my system or maybe I should consider a bigger PSU upgrade before I buy the GPU Any comments are greatly appreciated!

Si i am looking at local website where people sell used stuff. I was wondering are these any good deal. rx 570 8 gb: new around 150€ rx 570 4gb: new around 140€ rx 580 4gb: new around 170€ and the prices for them are rx 570 4gb: 90€ the cheapest (asus expedition) and 110€ the most expensive model (asus strix) rx 570 8 gb: 130€ rx 580 4gb: 90€ (asus dual) and 115€ (asrock phantom D) there are no listings on rx 590's or good listing on vegas is any of those deal a good buy or not? They are used, and i have the stuff to re apply thermalpaste and thermal pads.

Hello, i just recently bought a MSI RX 570 Armor 8gb oc and i'm wondering if my temperatures are safe to use. I'm quite new to the pc masterrace so to be honest i don't really know how overclocking nor undervolting work. On idle i usually have 35-50 degrees and whenever i play games i usually have 65-75 degrees. Most of the time the average temperature is between 70-75 celsius. I play on full hd resolution with medium/high settings. The highest temperature the card has ever reached was 76-77 celsius I'm just wondering whenever the temperatures i get are normal/safe for this card because i heard that the cooling is "not the best" The airflow in my case is pretty good by the way. Any help / tip / advice would be really appriciated because i heard that usually anything below 85 celsius is acceptable however i'm planning to use this card in long-term so i would like to know if the temperature for this specific card is fine My room temperature is average aswell and i'm curious about what should i do when the ambient temperature will be higher on summer for example. The card is still really fresh and so far i didn't do anything with it yet except installing the correct driver so i'm just really curious if the temps i have is healthy for this gpu or should i try undervolting a little bit or maybe increase fan speed. As i said earlier i'm still new and i don't exactly know a lot about things like theese

Hi all, I just installed an rx 570 and started gaming on it. after only about half a minute of gaming, it crashes. I then got msi afterburner, and checked the temperature. It reported 517 degrees Celsius before it crashed. I updated the drivers and everything, but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

Hi Friends, I am so confused to decide to choose which graphics card in 200$ mark should I choose. The options for me are RX 570 4GB RX 580 4GB GTX 1060 3GB I don't mind about freesync/gsync as I don't have a monitor with that. And I am planning to play my games in 1080p. So I don't think so we need more VRAM. Also I found these unusual price for RX 570 4GB and RX 580 4GB in Amazon which is like 350$ dollars and more. Is it happening only to me or this is usual. As I never purchased a graphics card before.
