So just now i unlocked my Sapphire Nitro RX 460 4GB with this guide https://overclocking.guide/amd-radeon-rx-460-unlocking-... , i already did this once sometimes and it suceeded. So this time i decided to do it again because of bad performance . After doing it, i can’t say if it failed or suceeded, because after doing it, my amd driver didn’t recognize my gpu, so i tried to reflash it with ATIFlash using my BIOS backup. After the flashing, i restarted my PC and... it won’t boot up! I turned it on and it beeped 4 times and nothing showed. Please help! Need to use this PC fast. Hi guys I need some help, I need a cheap gaming laptop to stream some games, battlefront 2, maybe rocket league, and minecraft. I have a system with a gtx 1050 and i5 6400 and it is perfect for streaming. I have heard that the amd cpus are terrible for gaming and streaming, but the rx 460 is slightly better than the mx 150, so I want to know what you guys think I should buy. video card rx460, Sapphire rx 460 4gb no display while boot

So I recently bought a sapphire rx 460 4gb, and it didn't seems to work. So I went back to the store, and it worked perfectly. In my build, it's working, but only turns in, when the windows is fully loaded. It isn't a problem in regular using, but for eg. to reinstall windows, I have to change the video card to another one, witch is working without a loaded windows. I using an intel core 2 q8300 processor (LGA755), in an asrock p45x3 delux motherboard. I very appriciate every kind of help! -
Currently building my PC and trying to find the best you for my buck under $200 CAD. Should I get the Gigabyte RX 460 4GB or EVGA GTX 950 SSC ACX 2.0 2GB? or should I just wait for the new GTX 1050 to come out? -
I bought a sapphire rx 460 and then found out that i had a monitor which only supports vga. So i bought an adapter that converts dp to vga. It works fine but wen i start my pc up it doesnt show the motherbord screen and the windows booting. It starts to work wen i have to login in wndows 10. Is the converter the monitor or the gpu the issue?

Hi I'm having trouble with my brand new rig which is also my first. It has an i3 6100 and a Gigabyte RX 460 4gb. I loaded up low end games like TF2 and Unturned and I FPS issues with them. I put them on to low to medium settings and they seem to be at 10FPS. I have downloaded all the new drivers and I don't know what to do. Please help! Thanks for your time.

So I BOUGHT THE RX460 LAST FRIDAY I have been having FPS problems with my games, surely they improved compared to my old system. Before i was playing on an APU only i was getting 24- 30 fps on GTA V SO when i took a look at some videos from youtube, i decided that the rx 460 was the perfect card for me since i am on a tight budget and i have a shit tier psu I USED THE SAME SETTINGS AS THIS GUY: BUT I AM NOT GETTING THE SAME FRAMERATES, i was thinking about a 10% difference between framerates from his and mine since were not on the same processor and boy his settings at 1080p never goes below 44 but mine goes as low as 30 fps. thats like 45%-40% (when there are lots of objects). plus my PC is at a lower resolution i PLAY @ 1360x768 what could be wrong? i did install my drivers from the website and i am sure they are the latest i also removed the r7 graphics from device manager. MY SPECS ARE: CPU : amd a10 7700k GPU : xfx rx 460 4 gig MOBO: A68HM e33 V2 - i also tried updating the bios, nothing happened but a prettier bios RAM: 1x8 1866 Hyper fury x - should i go for dual sticks? i heard that an apu runs better with two sticks PSU :(shit tier from deepcool) DE 480 i also tried playing not so demanding games like league of legends and dota 2 and the framerates drop to 55 fps at during clashes should i reinstall my windows 10 to remove all drivers? I NOTICED THAT FRAMERATES DROP when there are lots of objects, and when theres only a little it goes as high as 78-80 fps even at gta 5 -
Hello Good day to everyone! I am currently having problems on MY new GPU which is the RX 460 double dissipation 4 gig edition from xfx i play @ 1360x768 LOW FPS on DOTA 2 & LEAGUE OF LEGENDS - ( 58- 64 fps max settings on dota whereas youtube videos showed lowest was 94 fps and i used the same settings) (only 140 fps on my league of legends game where people say it can play 200+ at max settings) frame rates drop to 38 fps on GTA 5 where on YouTube videos it did not drop to 44fps @900 p i used the same settings on the YouTube video fallout 4 was not constant 60 fps even at 720p all turned down to the lowest settings it drops to 24fps which i believe should not happen. Assassin's Creed Black Flag was getting 44 fps when im not on my ship only gets constant 60 when i look up and down and when im travelling on the ship I used to play on purely IGPU from my AMD A10- 7700k and I just bought the GPU upgrade this friday I watched Youtube videos on How much FPS i should be getting for my new GPU MY monitor is only 1360x768@60hz maxes out @1080p - so i figured i should be getting more fps than them because they were testing it at 1080p and the native resolution on my monitor is very low and i play with that resolution. I am currently using the HDMI port on the RX 460 i am very sure that i have installed it correctly into the motherboard, i also plugged in the 6 pin power connector directly from my PSU i did not use the 2x molex to 6 pin that was included. i went to the xfx website and redirected me to amd homepage for the rx 400 series drivers. WHAT should i try doing? i removed the r7 graphics from device manager, the PC restarted by itself all of the sudden. should i try reinstalling Windows so all drivers are to be reinstalled? So, I bought a Gigabyte RX 460 2gb edition, and I love it! Only problem is that some games crash and display a error that I have physically removed my GPU which I haven't. It also says that I should make sure that my GPU has more than <number> MB/GB of ram. What??? (I couldn't print screen the error, but if it's really needed I surely will!) EDIT _____ thanks for clearing that for me guys, but why does the error appear that i removed my GPU when i haven't? Could you help me through this too? Thanks

Hello people, this is my first post here. I am going to build a pc in christmas maybe, or a little older, i want to wait for ZEN to come up , to decide either go to AMD or INTEL cpu+motherboard although untill then, i want to play my favorite PC game witch is SKYRIM at ultra settings (not mod) i mean the higher settings i can get. I bough the game 5 years ago, but i never finished it because i wanted to have the experience of awesome graphics, my pc was 2 years old at the time and i was 13 years old , so i had no idea to buy more ram when it was cheap (Ddr2 pc26400) or a graphics card , i was like, okay expensive PCs play good games) so my old PC is GA-G41-ESL2 motherboard , i updated to the latest BIOS my processor is Intel Pentium E5300 Overclocked at 3315mhz (dual core) with new thermal paste it goes around 64C full load for couple of hours my ram is 4G(although it supports 8G but, i believe it doesn't worth the 100 euros for just 8G, with 100 euros i can buy a processor 16G of ddr3 ram and a new motherboard) when i first bought it was 2G+1 kingston pc26400(2G-UDIMM) the 1G was kingston pc26400 but 333mhz instead of 400mhz (although it says 800mhz and Oclocked i think is at 1000mhz something) which was the 2G i found a 2G of ram long ago which my PC just never accepted, but after i updated the BIOs and overclocked the CPU to 3.315mhz it just showed up like miracle , this 2G ram is same PC2-6400 but trancend Information JM800QLU-2G i had a problem with ram lately, for some reason something happened and it wasn't recognized, but after i pull of the ram and install it again, it worked like nothing happen, but the situation was like the CPU failed, booting up with no screen etc. Anyways my Graphics card is Nvidia geforce 9500GT the 512mb version, i overclocked it once, but after i installed samsung evo 256gb and clean installing W7 i thought it's hopeless since this card is for trash i also cleaned dust from everything and got a new , more cool case because the old one was for trash, like the inside with aerocool cruisestar , i put 2 12cm red led fans on top , it had one infront and one smaller at back. The cool thing with this case is, that , it's dustproof , really limited dust gets inside, but the filter i used for back, helped the situation more. So my question is, what Graphics card should i take to run Skyrim at full settings ? Plus Rome 2 at high or something and new games at low. My budget can be 150$, i plan on using it for a while after i build my pc, if i haven't colected the money for a Rx 8gb I struggled my head all day, cant decide. You guys must know better than me.Oh and one more question about ram, i can't really find 2x4G ddr2 pc6400? i mean with less than 100$ it's just ridiculous how expensive those got.

booting problem Display Discoloration at booting (Sapphire RX 460)

This problem occurs sometimes. While booting, the screen gets Green or Red or Yellow. Noticed it for the fourth time till now. (even blue if RGB, ?). The fonts are distorted. Making double fonts horizontally. It might be for the bad HDMI port or something else. This error getting under the skin. Sapphire's should apologize? Saying this because another guy on youtube uploaded the very problem. Mine goes up to 1 more degree. Discoolor + Fonts problems. I am attaching a photo with a terrible quality(Moto E) because had to be quick. Sharpened a bit. Please, help? Hey guys! I have some problems with my Gigabyte RX 460 2GB edition. I get an error message (see picture) and the game instantly crashes. My drivers are up to date and I don't know why I'm getting this (BTW the game is Need For Speed 2016). But when i played it yesterday, everything crashes and i get this screen (i took a pic with my phone). I tried swapping out my RAM sticks but i get the same message. Could you help me?

Hi guys, I am using an old desktop computer with 2nd gen Core i3 processor on it. I am using R7 250x as my GPU. I am thinking about upgrading to another low cost GPU which has recently released the "AMD RX 460 4gb". will this gpu bottleneck with my 2nd gen Core i3 ? -
So im deciding this for my first build and i don't know which one of these choose for my computer. Will my CPU bottleneck the new rx460? Which one would you guys choose for gaming? I've been wanting to upgrade a small OEM pc that acts as my living room "theater" PC, and the RX 460 spec for spec makes the most sense yet the companies making the cards for it didn't have the brains to make a low profile version? It's almost like they didn't understand what a lot of people would want to do with a card that can be slot ran... I don't want to spend the money on a 750 TI that's only going to go down in performance over the years, it makes no sense to me. I hope there's something in the works in the coming year for this, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I check the facts of temperature before I buy things with adding the Great Taxation of India following the basic price. Topic is getting started. Apart from Guru3D, the site, haven't seen many using this intensive way to measure the GPU temps. I want your experiences about FLIR to read temps not only Graphics' units but other devices or parts. I love to know about this unexciting topic. Today I saw a video who had just 75 subscribers with 3 views but s/he uploaded this video he tested on her/his Sapphire RX 460 4GB - (62.3C is not so high right?) This video is pretty interesting solely because of the device. At a point I saw a certain interesting thing about the distribution of temp when it was actually going down on the GPU PCB. That is quite a weird behaviour of these cute CPU case heat islands. Did anybody tried this same FLIR sensor on other devices? (Been warned by penalties. Please don't tempt by some trash replies.)

Im doing a budget gaming pc build and i originally planned to use an XFX Radeon R7 360 GPU for my shiny new computer but Im considering getting the Radeon RX 460 for a little bit more. Worth the upgrade? PS Please dont recommend any other GPUs unless they are in that price range. Thanks.

Someone here in the forum replied with this same about ASUS graphics cards' standard or quality when it comes to AMD Radeon- "ASUS is one of the worst AMD manufacturer, go with Sapphire, XFX, or MSI, in that order or preference." (watch the poor grammar) That mister is talking about XFX and and insulting ASUS Strix. How much truthful his comment is? Many people might support the same. I don't know. I would take his comment lightly but as I am going to buy the Strix edition of RX 460, I got to ask to other people about it. On the other hand. if anybody has suggestions about a better and alternative way of RX 460, give that too.
