So I need a decently powerful laptop to edit with Premiere, Photoshop and would like to be able to do some light gaming as well. I currently have been looking at the Zephryus and the M15, but now with the new RTX cards, I'm conflicted. Should I shell out the extra money for the newer GPU or would it be smarter to get a 1070 version and save over 500 dollars? Help!

So I will be building my own rig soon, I aint sure which gpu to get. the msi gtx 1080 gaming x is £500 while the msi rtx 2070 armor is £490. This is the current rig someone helped me choose. I would get a 144hz monitor and only do gaming here. So I am looking for performance and aint sure which one to get. This is my current desktop spec: I5 4440+silverstone cooler. gtx 970 16GB of 1600mhz ddr3 ram (corsair) 1tb of hdd and 256gb kingston sata 3 ssd 550w PSU Corsair Dell 24 inch 1080p monitor. I want to upgrade my current graphic card and I am thinking about getting a 1080ti brand new on clearance deal which is around $150 less then a rtx 2070. My current rig can't handle smooth 60 Fps + gameplay at 1080p on game that i currently play such as Fallout 4 and Skyrim (With a lot of mod install), Resident Evil 2 remake, FF 15. Will the 1080ti solve my problem or will I ran into a bottle neck with my i5 4440 and ddr3 memory ? Should i just upgrade my rig completely with an i5 8400 and 16gb of ddr4 too ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

My rtx 2070 only have 50-60% load on pubg and battlefield v. Should I update the bios of my mobo? I've already installed the lastest nvidia driver for the gpu. Or I should go to send it back? Or it just a cpu bottlenecking? My rig: i5 7500, strix B250H, 16gig ram 2400 MHz, gigabyte windforce rtx 2070

Hi i just built my PC 1 month ago and everything is fine but today after closing Fortnite, i noticed that my Graphics card ( EVGA RTX 2070 ) usage is still still high reaching 30% and the temperature is nearly 45 C. my card wasn't like that before, it used to set on 3 % usage at idle most of the time and temps were very low. i tried closing programs from Task manager and restarting the computer but nothing changed. i open Process explorer but i didn't noticed anything strange ( i dint actually know if its right or not, so here are some pictures of the process explorer https://imgur.com/a/BMomMDE ) do anyone knows whats wrong ? Hey guys, I have a question. My specs are: i5-9600k Gigabyte b360 hd3 (MB) 2x Kingston HyperX 4GB CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo (CPU cooler) Some HDD 1TB and 500GB SSD 256GB CoolerMaster MasterWatt 500 lite fully modular (PSU) Will my PSU be enough for my next possible upgrade which is a Gigabyte RTX 2070 Gaming OC 8G? Like I know I'll need a new PSU, but could I temporary use my pc with only 500W and that GPU? The issue might be that this GPU comes pre-overclocked so it uses a great amount of power...

So I build myself a portable little system in the Dan Case A4, the build sports a EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 XC GAMING, and Intel Core i7 8700 on a Asus ROG STRIX B360-I GAMING. So I have a USB C port on my GPU and MOBO, but will it run a little protable screen like the Asus ZenScreen or the HP EliteDisplay S14. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

So I had to RMA a old 980ti. And got. RTX 2070 well that card did last a day before it caused Nvidia driver to crash windows. Got then a new 2070 and well hello artifacts Both the 2070 cards have been "Gainward GeForce RTX 2070 Phoenix GS" just wondering what other people's experience have been with it. in the timeframe from the 980ti dieing and up to now I have used a 970 that have had no issue, my PSU is 850w, since I have had other people blame the PSU being to weak (until they know the W) I have only used software to monitor, not to OC or adjust any setings

Hi guys, here where i live prices are very high. I asked some days ago and people here told me to get a 2080, but i had some money complications so now i can buy either a new Rtx 2070 or a used 1080ti, or maybe wait some more time. I play at an Acer Predator X34 (3440x1440p at 100hz). The 1080 Ti was bought in may 2018 and has a total of 3 years warranty. The owner still has the invoice, but not the box of the card. He said it was not used for mining, but still, with the invoice and warranty i dont think it would be an issue. Below are the Models, i will convert the prices here to dollars for reference: Zotac Rtx 2070 Amp: $740 MSI Rtx 2070 Gaming Z: $800 (Used) ASUS Gtx 1080 TI Strix: $800 (For reference) Zotac Rtx 2080 Amp: $1010 (For reference) MSI Rtx 2080 Gaming X Trio: $1075 So, what do you guys think?

I recently got a Gigabyte Windforce RTX 2070. I have been wanting to overclock better and also have a better looking system. I want to get custom watercooling. I am a beginner so I know little. Also I can’t find and blocks for my gpu. I looked on ek and alphacool. They didn’t have any for rtx 2070. Do you think any 2080 or 2080 ti blocks will work? Also any tips for beginners? I am planning to use soft tubes. Guys, I found a deal for a brand new ASUS GeForce ROG Strix GTX 1070 Ti A8G Gaming 8GB GDDR5 for $570. Should I get it or go for a newer MSI RTX 2070 ARMOR 8G (non OC)? The price difference is so close. I consider it because of the deal and it’s ASUS ROG Strix, which normally will be much more expensive. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I assume it has better performance than most cards. My motherboard is MSI Z97 Gaming 5 with Intel i7 4790 non K and 8GB RAM.

Hello everyone I am looking into buying a new graphics card, because I recently upgraded my CPU to the i9 9900K. I am not interested in spending around the 2080's price, so I want to hear which GPU I should pick then. I can get RTX 2060's for around $400 and 2070's for around $625 I am mainly playing e-sports games and games that don't demand so much like CS:GO, Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege. But I also play games like Battlefield V and GTA V (don't know how demanding that is) I am gonna play at 1080p at 144hz, so I need a card that can handle that. I also stream / record from time to time, but I don't think that will be too much of a problem Thanks in advance, Shinion

I'm looking to upgrade my ancient HD5850 to something new. The 2 cards I've selected are the RTX 2070 and VEGA 56, both are in the same price range + - $15 dollars price difference. My first choice is the RTX 2070 because it's newer, but due to a major issue a lot of users are experiencing, I don't know if my 1st choice is the best choice. Should I take the risk and grab a RTX 2070 and hope for the best, that card won't have any problems in the long run or for the sake of stability and not having to deal whatever the problems those RTX cards are having, just go with the VEGA 56. Now if I took the risk and grab a RTX 2070 and somehow problems started to happened 1 month after the card was purchased, what that means is I will have to spent the shipping to send it back for a RMA, which most likely means the card I get back isn't going to be brand new. Tbh, I actually did order a RTX 2070 and then decided to cancel my order, but as I was canceling they've already shipped it out. So when I got it, I went to return it and it cost $45 to ship it back. Spoke with the place where I got it from and they were nice to send me a prepaid label. Basically it all comes down to this, which video cards should I get? AMD VEGA 56: 2 years old card, but it's stable and no major problems. It does not have Ray Tracing and support for Virtual Link. It comes with 3 free games Nvidia RTX 2070: less than a few months old, not stable, major problem. Supports Ray Tracing and Virtual Link. Only comes with 1 game. Future proof since it's newer, so it should laster much longer than VEGA 56.

Welcome to... ... my latest Build in the gorgeous Corsair Crystal 570X! Consider checking out the BUILD VIDEO to see the whole thing coming together! It's a Corsair themed Build featuring an overclocked Ryzen 7 2700 @ 3.9GHz and a Zotac RTX 2070 AMP Edition. The Budget was around 1600 $. More pictures and a quick Firestrike/TimeSpy test can be found on PCPartPicker. I unfortunately didn't have enough time with the system to do some game testing. It's mostly going to be used for 1440p gaming, some video and audio editing and won't see any higher clocks than now in it's lifetime. I did this build for a friend of mine, so please don't congratulate me on my new PC, I'll get a depression. Here is my quick take on the Parts and why I chose them!: Corsair Crystal 570X RGB ATX Mid Tower: DE US UK AMD Ryzen 7 2700: DE US UK I haven't done an Intel Build for quite some time, and I really wanted to... But considering that this Build isn't only meant to be used for gaming, but for some Video/Audio Editing as well I choose the R7 2700 and clocked it to 3.9 GHz. I think I don't have to say much about it, its perfect for the build and offers amazing bang for the Buck as well as cheaper Mobos than Intel. Corsair H60 (2018) 120mm Liquid Cooler: DE US UK The Build was supposed to be watercooled, simply for aesthetic reasons, but the Budget was already a bit flexed. That's were the H60 2018 Revision came in more than handy. At 60$ you're paying paying pretty much the same price as for a Dark Rock 4, even though it might not match it in performance with its tiny 120mm Radiator, it's still performing incredibly well and silent. IMO it was quite a good choice, because I would have run into clearance Issues, trying to install a 240mm Radiator at the top of the case. Asus ROG STRIX B450-F: DE US UK I love the Asus Strix boards. I love their design, their build quality, their BIOS and the amount of features they offer for the money. At 120 Bucks you get a X470 looking board, without giving up anything. Especially the pre-mounted back I/O is a small but great touch. Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB 3000MHz: DE US UK What can I say. Corsair makes good and reliable RAM, and the Vengeance RGB Pro simply looks AMAZING. You have to see it in person to appreciate how beautiful this piece of tech is. Samsung 970 Evo 250 GB M.2-2280 SSD: DE US UK Quick NVME SSD, not much to say, quicker and cleaner looking than most M.2, you could of course safe some money here if you wanted. Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM: DE US UK Some space. Zotac RTX 2070 AMP Edition: DE US UK This was my first time, using a Zotac Card and I was really looking forward to it. I always thought they looked great and seemed to perform really well. TBH I was a bit disappointed in it. It performed great and stayed quite cool, even with only the Dual Fan Design, but the whole card looked and felt cheaper than I thought it would. be quiet! Pure Power 10 CM 600W: DE US alternative UK My go to PSU. They have incredible reliability, peak quality, run extremely silent and have great cables. Corsair SP120 RGB: DE - UK At last I got one additional Fan of the ones that are pre-installed in the 570X. They look good, run really silent, especially considering that the Case is OPEN, but are not quite as beautiful as the ML/LL 120/140 RGB Series fans, IF you can spare some more I'd really exchange the SPs for those Overall I love how this build turned out. It was quite a lot of work but it's so, so beautiful. Don't forget to check out the Video, and ask me about anything you wanna know! Thank you for reading! P.S. I hope the link are turned into LMG- Affiliate links, if not, I'd be happy if a Mod would change or remove them!

my 2070 only have 60-80% load on gaming. My cpu is i5 7500 that have 16 pic-e lanes and my mono is strip b250f that have 12 pci-e lanes. My rig also have a ssd and a hdd using 6x sata. Is my rig do not have enough lanes for the 2070 to get the peak performence? Or my mobo do not have enough power phases to let the rig stable and perform well? p.s. i also used a z270 formula + 7700k rig to test the card. the card can perform over 90%.

Hi! Yesterday I got the parts for my new PC and it's been a nightmare since. Part list I just built the PC following the steps of many YouTube videos and carefully reading the manuals, when I was finished everything seemed normal and in the correct place. But when I booted the PC there was video no output and I got this DRAM LEDlighting up in my motherboard indicating there's some error with my RAM (that I know worked perfectly because it is from my previous PC). So I unplug the PC and proceed to try every combination possible with no success, always the same thing: no video output and that LED turned on. At this point I'm really annoyed and proceed to take everything off the motherboard and the case and rebuild the whole thing. The only thing that I found is that I had forgotten to plug the HD audio cable to the motherboard. When I'm finished rebuilding everything I plug the PC and there's video output and no error LED in the motherboard. It's a miracle! I install Windows and all the drivers for the motherboard and the graphics card, download a couple games and decide to test them. Everything works fine, Resident Evil 2 runs perfectly at 1440p and I'm very happy. When I'm configuring some windows stuff I notice that I have only half of my RAM available (it says something like RAM: 16gb (8gb usable)) so I decide to take turn off the PC and rearrange the RAM, same results. I start to test every combination possible and always the same result, doesn't matter which amount of RAM I use and which ports I always have only half available. Weird but my new PC works, so no big deal. I'll fix it later. Wrong. I turn it on again and play some overwatch, everything running normally and then I close the game. Everything freezes completely. I can't move my mouse or use any keyboard shortcut so I press the restart button on my case. Big mistake. The fans start spinning like crazy and then the PC shuts down, I try to turn it on again but I just got this goddamn LED again and this time rebuilding the whole thing didn't work. So here's what I've tried so far: Putting the RAM sticks in every imaginable combination (same DRAM LED turns on) Trying another graphics card (same DRAM LED turns on) Testing the RAM on my old system (same RAM on the old PC works fine) Rebuilding the whole system, including reseating the CPU (same DRAM LED) Rebuilding my old system with the new power supply (this one is interesting, my old PC wouldn't have video output and would just shutdown ~30 seconds after turning it on with the new power supply) After that last test I was sure the problem was the PSU, so I decided to rebuild the old PC with the old PSU and if everything works fine then I found the problem, but being the moron that I am when I'm finished rebuilding the old PC with the old PSU I connected the power cord of the new PSU to the old one by accident and turned it on, after that the old PSU just died so now I can't use my old PC (dead PSU) or my new PC (the one with the DRAM error LED). Here's what I've got from my tests: RAM sticks are the least likely problem since they worked perfectly on my previous PC, they are listed as compatible (DDR4 2133Mhz) and the PC booted once with those sticks before freezing up and showing the error again after ~2 hours of use. Motherboard might be faulty but I find highly unlikely that all RAM slots are dead. PSU is suspicious since when connected to the old system (that worked perfectly fine) the old system wouldn't boot. I have no idea if the CPU or GPU might be causing the error but I find it unlikely. So here I am where I started but this time I have no way of confirming the problem (why would a faulty PSU cause a DRAM error indicator to turn on in my motherboard) If I send back the PSU but it turns out that that wasn't the bad component then it will be too late to return some other item by the time I get back the PSU replacement. So here I am asking you for help to identify the faulty component from my PC or some advice on what to do to not miss the return period of my components (should I just send everything back?). Please I'm very desperate and I don't now what else to do.

Hey guys, I would like to know your opinion on those two gpu's. Is the 2070 a way better deal than the 1070Ti? The price for the 1070Ti would be 350 Eur and the 2070 would cost 440 Euro. Thanks in advance!!
