I'm planning to just change my GPU on my actual rig, my actual rig is: Motherboard: Asus H110M-K CPU: Intel Core i7-7700 GPU: MSI GAMING X GTX 1060 3GB (Planning to upgrade to RTX 2060) RAM: 2x8GB Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400 MHZ SSD: ADATA 128 GB HDD: WD 1 TB 7200 RPM PSU: EVGA 550W (non 80+, non modular) (my PSU is 5 years old) CASE FANS: 3x 120 MM Thermaltake Accesories: 1x Jack 3.5mm Headset, 1x keyboard, 1x mouse, 1x TP LINK WLAN CARD PC part picker with all my specs link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/87FNbK Some pages say it would have an estimated wattage of 390W (with the rtx 2060), should i rely on my 550w 5 year old PSU? im pretty worried sorry if i have a bad english

Hey guys, One of my friends had been having issues with his old graphics card. (dont know the model sadly, but it was an AMD videocard). His pc would crash completely into a blackscreen and had to be forcefully shut off. The cause of the black screen was just simple overheating. Now we swapped over to an Gigabyte RTX 2060 OC 6G. Clean driver install etc etc. Worked fine for a week! And then suddenly, it gray screened. Which i've personally never really seen before. It lags out for a minute and then it returns to the desktop. We tried reseating the gpu properly and making sure its supported, didnt work either. After trying a bunch of weird things I could think of, we tried a clean install of Windows, with a clean install of all the drivers. Seemed fine for a minute, then it happened again. Thats where I stopped and why I came here! I hope someone has a clue as to what to try, as it seems like a software issue more than a hardware issue. I'll post the specs below. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Gigabyte RTX 2060 OC 6G 2x8GB Ram, dont know the exact model but I dont suspect the ram at all. MSI B450 (Dont know the exact 1, but it only has 1 PCIe slot.) Cooler Master 600W PSU (Also dont know the exact model) Thanks in advance.

So my mate is looking to sell his 4 month old ZOTAC RTX 3090 because he knows someone with a 40 series who's selling. He DM'd me seeing if I'd like his card and I decided I'd buy it off him as a 3090 would be fantastic to edit videos on as well as game on obviously. However, I know I'd need a bigger Power Supply to give myself a nice, big, safe overhead. I'd also like a better case to get more airflow into the system. Some more RAM would be nice too and blah, blah, blah, down the upgrade rabbit hole I went. This is what I currently have (PCPartpicker "LADY '21" completed build page) This is all the parts I'm looking into upgrading to down the line (PCPartpicker "LADY '23" Parts List) Basically, other than the 3090 and the PSU, should I be considering more things/options for upgrading? Here are my concerns: - I assume the motherboard I have is fine, or do I need to prioritise getting a better one? (I have a spare MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi should something happen to the ROG B550-F) - I figured, when I can, I should pair the beefier card with a beefier CPU like the 5900x, but does the air cooler I picked fit in the 5000D airflow case and have the clearence for 2 more sticks of the RAM I already have? Is there a site I can use to tell me rather than having to try cross-check measurements? Hell can I buy and use PC Building Sim 1 or 2 to figure that out or nah? - Can I upgrade the RAM like I think? Just buy another 2 sticks of the exact same RAM I already have and put them in the empty slots? Or should I think about just getting 2, new, bigger capacity sticks? - This is the first time I'd have a GPU at the size it is with the ZOTAC. Do I need a GPU support bracket? (My friend who currently owns it has it mounted vertically which I don't wanna do and why he doesn't have a support bracket in his system) - Is this the best case for this build at this price or should I hold out for the Lancool 216 to be back in stock (unlikely) or spend a tiny bit more and get the much better looking Fractal Design Torrent/Torrent Compact or should I avoid the Torrents because I'm a first-time upgrader and the PSU goes at the top of the case and the cable management is apparently kinda bad? Notes: - Live in the UK - Priorities are a new case and the Power supply. Everything else can come when I have the money, except the RAM since that doesn't cost much. - My experience building Lady '21 wasn't absolutely abysmal but definitely wasn't good, thanks to the original CPU (a 3700x) and M.2 SSD (Crucial P5) I bought for it both being faulty, which is why I'm turning here to the LTT forum to help me try iron out any details I've missed or overlooked. I am planning to buy an RTX 2060 by the end of this month. The thing is, I built my PC on a budget. And my power supply is the one that was included with the case. I saw Linus saying that he doesn’t recommend that, but he doesn’t seem to say why? Should I upgrade my power supply? And what will happen if I didn’t? I wanted to upgrade my PC, and buy a graphics card, I found the RTX 2060 very suitable to me, it is very well-priced, very extreme-performing and supports Real-Time Ray Tracing. But, I was talking with my friend about this graphics card and he told that it is very overkill for 1080p and a 16: Series NVIDIA Graphics Card like the GTX 1660 SUPER will just do the job. Is the RTX 2060 really overkill for 1080p Fortnite Gameplay? I am going to run a 60Hz monitor, bare that in mind. Should I buy an RTX 2060, or should I just buy something less expensive like an GTX 1660 SUPER and save some money?

So i want to get a pc to play heavily modded minecraft but im not sure if i need an rtx 2060 becuz minecraft is a cpu intensive game. so should i get a worse graphics card and put more money into upgrading my cpu from ryzen 5 2600x into something like ryzen 7?

This picture is only for example, I cant get the screenshot when afterburner opened. Win + PS didnt work sometimes. Fps suddenly dropped to 60-70fps (half of my fps). Also cpu usage is around 50-100%. Gpu only 50-60% This is my problem starts. Sometimes this usage is normal. But minimum fps is kinda low around 110 fps (choppiness and little stutter) Also when 100% CPU then gpu only works 50%. My game feels stutter and dropped frame to 67fps. I dont know this is my cpu problem or my GPU.

Hey everyone! I just finished my new build but I'm having a strange issue, and I cant seem to find anyone with a similar problem/has tried my solutions. Components: - Asrock b450m Steel Legend - Ryzen 5 2600 - Gamdias liquid AIO - G.Skill tridendZ RGB (2x8gb) - RTX 2060 - 1 ssd - 2 HDD - coolermaster 550w PSU (rotating from PSU to PSU) When i try to boot absolutely nothing happens. no post, no fans, nothing. I put an older GT220 card in, and it works fine. Re-hardware tested the 2060 in another computer and it worked great. So im at a loss of whats happening. I have tried: - Changing the PSU, tried everything from a 550w bronze to an 850w gold. - Updating windows - Different Power cables on different PSU's - installing 2060 drivers - different PCI-E cables (on the modular PSU's ive tried) - Updated BIOS - Second PCI slot Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated!

I recently built a new PC, but did not order any extra fans for my case. I only got 1 extra (the 120mm exhaust in the back) since there otherwise was no exhaust fan in the case, only 3 120mm fans in the front. I keep getting temps of up to 84oC when I am gaming. Is this a normal gaming temperature for a ASUS TUF RTX 2060 6GB graphics card, or should I be worried and maybe get extra cooling?

Hi, I purchased a year ago my MSI laptop the GL63 8SE with the rtx 2060, yesterday I was plugging my laptop with HDMI in my Tv to use it as a second screen, but the laptop can't seem to find the Tv. I checked all the settings of the tv and the laptop and can't seem to find something wrong, I update all drivers and nothing. I tried turning off my tv and my laptop and nothing. After I checked everything if I plug the HDMI the laptop screen goes black because now It's set to default use only the second screen and I can't change this setting. How can I solve? Have you experienced something like this before?

so im planning on building a gaming pc sometime before cyberpunk releases. probably a ryzen 3 3300 with an rtx 2060. i plan on making my own custom case and was wondering if i can directly mount the GPU to a panel o the case using screw spacers ? kinda like how you would a mobo and then connect them using an pcie extender . so is it anyway possible to put spacers on a GPU ? it seems like vertical mounting a GPU on custom cases is difficult . its my first custom case and have been using gaming laptops most of my life but im great with making things .

Hi guys, Today I installed my new gigabyte rtx 2060 windforce and started playing around with some overclocking on it. When Heaven was running, temperatures went up to about 76c which is fine. But when the fan speed exceeded 80%, the (I think it's only one fan) starts buzzing. It's not a high noise but it is noticeable while wearing a headset. No, it's not coil whine! Could this just be the rotor doing weird at high rpm or something? Idk Also, when I change the fan speed in afterburner to a higher rpm, the fans will go up like 200 rpm higher for about 1 second and then quickly turn back to 'normal speed'. And that is not a consistant speed, but rather hovering between (f.e. 1500 and 1600 rpm). Do you guys now what's causing these issues? Let me know!
