I am using a Rosewill photon or something in my system, an 80+ bronze non modular thing I got from a friend a while ago. My brother uses some 80+ bronze rosewill thing a friend of mine donated after I cheaped out and got a $20 apevia unit from amazon (learned the hard way not to skimp on a PSU.) We've been using these units for a while and I was wondering what kind of upgrades would be ideal, since power supplies don't last forever. I really like the idea of the EVGA supernova G3 650W. The modular cables will make my messy case a lot easier. My brother uses an i5 and a gtx 970, so what should he consider? He isn't a hardcore gamer, so an i5 and a mid end GPU is his future in gaming. I am getting an 8086k, so I know 650W is where I should be at.

I have a Rosewill tyrfing, and I was wondering if it's a good idea to paint the inside of my case. It's black on the inside and outside I want it white. Should I use high temp spray? How many coats on inside and outside?

Semi-Modular. Definitely a boon for building and cable management. I would never go non-modular. While full-modular would've been perfect, especially with custom cables, all of that is money I'd rather spend on other parts of my setup. 550 watts. It's plenty. As I've said before, high wattage is overrated. 550 is enough for even a 1080 Ti and video cards will never get hungrier than that. Build Quality. A little bit on the cheap side, but it's not a problem. It functions well. Reliability. I waited 7 months to write this review. So far, it's going quite well. No issues whatsoever. Noise. It ranges from quiet to slightly noisy depending on load. The noise won't be a problem for most PC's; it's still more quiet than many others out there. In my build that focuses on silence, it is the loudest part at full load, but that doesn't say a lot. The most dedicated silent-heads will want another PSU, but most other enthusiasts won't find issue with this power supply. Fan Modding. It uses a non-stand 2-pin fan. I originally gave it a 140mm fan that was hooked up to my motherboard to try to reduce the noise. It worked well for a few months with no problems, but ultimately I decided to just put its original fan back in. I would assume there are bett designed 2-pin fans that would work with it. Good PSU for the money. 7.5/10

Im looking at getting the Rosewill RSV-L4000 and I seem to find mixed results on rad support. Can I mount a 360mm radiator? If I can without modding, will it have room for push pull? Also any recommendations on 80mm replacements for back fans, Noise not that concerning (My hearing is terrible and Im probably shoving in a closet)

Starting a home rack center for storage/networking/media/backups. While shopping Newegg I see a lot of cheap hardware for Rosewill which I heard is owned by Newegg as well as some other unfavorable things, mainly their power supplies. is it worth it to buy more reliable brands for the inner components but buy Rosewill chassis to save money? -
Don't have any experience with them, and it's generally a brand I've never really seen anyone use. I'm specifically looking at the Rosewill Valens-600 if you wanted to know.

I am currently use corsair 600W bronze rated power supply to power my pc with has core i5 6600k and gtx 980 ti. My brother is planning to move away from his AMD FX series and want to get himself intel chip. I decided to give him my core i5 6600k and will upgrade myself to i7 6700k. I look at one of the "workshop series" video where luke is talking about "if more wattage mean more power consumption?" and from what I see, I see that more wattage = less power consumption due to its efficiency curve. I plan to get myself 850W evga gold rated G2 series for myself. Is it worth it? Do you recommend me something else? Hey there community, Six months ago, the crew uploaded the video "Under $150 Budget Gaming 8 Core CPU, Motherboard & 16GB RAM". I became really intrigued by this idea, because I use a program called Maxwell Render which heavily relies on cpu processing, and chose to take this challenge on. I have been searching ebay, server supply warehouse, craigslist, and Newegg for all of my components for this build. From the mentioned venders, I have been able to pick up; HP Z800 dual socket motherboard Two Intel Xeon E5520 16 GB of HP certified ECC DDR3 Ram 128 GB ADATA SSD AMD R7770 Black Edition graphics 750 80+ Bronze Rosewill Arc PSU Because this was my first "ground up" build, I did some research on what else I needed since the mobo doesn't have standard connections for mounting as well as for power connectors. I found a website, here, that I followed as best I could. Instead of splicing wires and making my own adapters, I purchased a premade harness that split the 24pin down to the required 18 pin, for power, and 10 pin, for memory. Once I had all of my components placed in their home and cables connected securely I connected my monitor to the digital DVI port on the graphics card, because the mobo doesn't have dedicated graphics, and powered the system on. Everything appeared to be working properly but it failed to post. I powered down the system, double checked that my ram was in their correct slots and removed one of the cpu's to see if that would change anything. This had no effect and also didn't post. Thinking that it may be the graphics card drawing too much juice from the PCI gen 2, I swapped for my tester gpu, EVGA GeForce 210. Connecting that to the other monitor that I have, which is vga, also failed to post. I haven't pulled out a multimeter to check voltage rails given off by the PSU, but any and all comments and suggestions are welcome.

Hello everyone, i recently bought a rosewill rdcr 11004 (internal sd card reader) the other day and do not know which correct cable to get. The rosewill rdcr 11004 has two molex (first pic) connectors coming out of it, i attached a Y molex connector to those two (second pic) and realized i need a third molex connector (third pic) in order to get to the power supply, to power the rosewill) Will this third molex connector work? (third pic) thank you

So my case (Rosewill Blackhawk - non pro) comes with a top mounted sata dock, but I can't remember if I connected it to my mobo when I made it. Is there a way to check if the dock is functional and if it will be compatible with a SATA III hard drive?

Greetings, Now I'll preface this post by stating that I'm not entirely sure if it belongs in this subforum or in peripherals. So if I posted in the wrong place, feel free to move it. Since I recently bought a second monitor, I've been wanting to place them on a stand to free up some space and make the whole setup neater. But, once again, I have no idea what to go with. Right now I have 2 23" monitors with 75x75mm VESA mounts. I plan to add a 3rd monitor to the system but that won't be for a while so I don't mind buying another one at that time (though the ability to upgrade and add a 3rd would be nice). I've seen a few names repeatedly mentioned like Rosewill, Silverstone and Ergotech/Ergotron, all of which seem to be good quality. From what I have seen so far, Rosewill seem to be tough/sturdy but lack mobility. Whereas Ergotech/Ergotron have more mobility, but are harder to obtain and more expensive (at least in the UK). Silverstone seem to be a good balance of the 2 variants, so I am leaning more towards them right now, but I would still like to hear to experiences of other members as to which brand/model would be better choice. If there is a good quality brand that I have missed completely, let me know. Any advice is welcome. Regards, LoT /)

I'm looking at picking up the Rosewill Rise Glow case here: www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147227&_ga=1.129932620.1790864013.1438895638 I'm wondering if there's anyone who's owned this case or the Rise that can give me their opinion about it. I've looked at reviews and other forums and people seem to like this case but I'd like to know if there's any unexpected drawbacks I might run into when I finally open the box. Hey guys! My current PC case is the Rosewill FBM-01 and I was looking at the Sapphire Radeon R9 280 to upgrade to. So, I got the Newegg deal for the Rosewill Capstone 750W, about 80 bucks IIRC, but I have found a deal to get the Corsair CX750 for about $73. Am I right in thinking I may as well return the Rosewill and go for the CX? Any angles I'm missing here?

So this is my system I'm having problems with my actual psu since i put the gtx 760 and hyper 212, wich is when i put the pc to 100% load or close it shut down after a time, but for example as well, i play bf3 at ultra settings it shut down after playing 30-20 mins, with fire strike benchmark it shut downs kinda fast (after 10 mins), but it happens still when i play bf3 at every detail at low, but it shut down after like several hours (3-4 hours)... when it shut downs it doesnt show an error or something it just shut down and im not capable of turning it on (the fans dont even start and the mobo aswell) but to turn it on i have to turn off the psu power button (the one on the next pucture) and turn it on again, then my pc starts normally. so i concluded i have to change of power supply (if im wrong please tell me what could be a solution to this) if that is the case, wich power supply should i get? the rosewill hive 650w or the corsair cx600m? both are at the same price point in my country (114 dollars, yeah pretty damn expensive) so wich one should i choose? what do you recomend? i see pretty interesting the rosewill but i don't want it to fail, i want to get something that last at least the 3 years of warranty the rosewill supplies, thanks -
