Hi all- I am looking to get a new 4U server case for a NAS I am planning to build. I want the case to last a long time and go through many internal component changes without issues. I do not really need the hot-swap bays, but they are nice. I need something that is sort of affordable. The Sliger case is really pushing my budget for this once you factor in rails and Noctua fans. The three cases I am between are the Sliger CX4712, Rosewill RSV-L4412U, or RSV-L4500U. Does anyone have any input on this? I am open to buying used, but there are not very many used options on eBay at the moment that make sense for what you are paying.

My 10 year old Rosewill RD700 died last night. Now I'm in the market for a new power supply, It seems Corsair is the way to go. I have a 8700k stock clock, and a ASUS 1080 8GB. I don't have plans to upgrade either of those unless they die. The "How many watts do I need" thread points to a 550w+ would a RM650x be an okay choice? Or should I go higher?

Hello. I semi-recently upgraded my PC with all brand-new parts except for my PSU which I reused from my old build. I've read the FAQ pinned in this forum but I didnt answer my questions. Link to PC part list --- Link to just my PSU Firstly, my PSU makes some noise occasionally when under load during games. It's just audible enough to hear it admist the fan noises from my case. I can pretty much comfirm that it's from the PSU since I put my ear close to it and it seems to come from there. It also occasionally makes a "wind whooshing" noise rarely when mostly the PC is not busy after I was gaming. (I dont know a better way to describe the sound. It just sounds like air flowing but differently than anything else my PC makes). I've never had any issues with my PSU or PC for that matter, so I have no complaints other than the sounds. Here's a video that has some of the audio I recorded by holding my phone near the back of my case where my PSU is. Obviously it isnt as loud as the video may suggest since my phone is very near the PSU, but it is loud enough that I can notice it over the fan noises in my GPU and case. Second, I'm wondering if I need to worry about any PSU issues in general. Since this is a broad question, I dont expect people to be able to simply answer Yes or No to that. However, I hope I can get some kind of answer to if I need to worry at all about my PSU since it is somewhat old compared to my new parts. I'd say it's around 7+ years old now or so. (I dont have the receipt of purchase anymore, so I cant be too accurate) The PC has been running great for a year and a half with no issues. Performance and thermals are all good. Even during high loads like Cyberpunk 2077 at max settings. (So it isnt like I'm not working the PC hard) Thank you for reading and to anyone that replies.

Does anyone know if Rosewill's prism S/S-LITE supports E-ATX? The Newegg and Amazon page says it does, but the Rosewill website does not.

i was looking at just buying a new case that had design features that i wanted, but i think i might just add them to my current case if i can so in my rosewill blackhawk ultra i want to add 1: PSU shroud, either solid or with a modders mesh top 2: remove the mesh from the side panel, replace with a window, cover the rest of the side panel with some kind of sound deadening to quiet the case, will also cover the other side panel with the same sound deadening (need recommendations on what to use for that) 3: because this case supports massive dual cpu HPTX boards and im using ATX i want to make a custom plate that covers all the ugly holes, i want to make it two layers, the bottom layer would stand maybe quarter to half an inch off the motherboard tray, and still have a couple holes for cable routing, then a bar like you see in the NZXT H210/H510/H710, im thinking of making that bar (and possibly this whole thing) with acrylic, painted on the faces, with the edges bare, and then im thinking that if i attached an RGB strip face down against the back side of the pieces, the edges of them would then glow... question mark 4: also thinking about pulling most of the drive shelves, mounting the two inner fans inside the drive cage, and put some more modders mesh on the side of the drive cage to clean up the appearance since the side panel is solid over the drive cage area so only motherboard area is actually visible either that or some fan grills just to clean up the look

I'm really in love with NZXT's new Kraken Z63 AIO. The LCD screen is much nicer looking than Asus's Ryuo 240 AIO. The issue I have is that the case I'm planning to upgrade to only supports a 240mm radiator, and the Kraken Z63 is 280. Is there any way to adapt the bracket to be able to hold the 280mm rad assuming that it will physically fit inside the case? The case I plan to use is the the Roswill Prism S-White which allows the AIO to be mounted on the case wall instead of the front panel so it looks like it will physically accommodate the 280mm rad assuming there is some way to get it in there. I suppose I could also spend a little more money on the Kraken Z73 at 360mm and mount it on the bottom but I've never heard of a bottom mounted radiator before - don't seem like the best option airflow wise. Thanks in advance. )

As title suggests, I am having trouble slotting the Corsair H60 radiator into the rear fan slot of my Rosewill Challenger case. I believe the problem is that one of the corners of this slot (bottom right) is curved, therefore not giving enough clearance to the square corners of the radiator. Has anyone else managed to install a Corsair H60 inside a Rosewill Challenger case? I attached a picture of that curved corner. Is it possible to bend or solder this metal to push it out of the way? Another possible cause are these 2 protruding pins (one of which you can see just above that curved corner), but I cannot remove them easily because they have no holes for a screwdriver (possibly soldered pieces). In the other photo, you can see the radiator placed in the slot, but there is a gap in the top left where it is not flush with the case due to whatever is obstructing it. Because of this, I cannot screw it in as the screw holes are not aligned.

I've been looking for a new mech board and mouse, and I've come across this: The Rosewill NEON lineup. They are a mechanical board and gaming mice that seem too good too be true. The mice boast RGB, a PMW 3325 sensor which is decent, 6 or 8 buttons for anyone who needs them, software, and for $21.99 AUD! It's the same kinda story with the boards, Kahlil browns or blues, full RGB, again software, wrist rest, 3-way cable slot, and again for $69 AUD! Seems too good to be true, but then again Rosewill is a reputable brand, or so I've heard. If anyone has an opinion or has used them before, lemme know in the comments! (And thanks in advance ofc)

Anyone know of rails that will fit the Rosewill RSV-R4000 that are sliding rails? I'm looking to go rack mount instead of having it lay on my floor in my guest room and all the rails I see online are meant for specific server case's. It's a 4U case at I think standard width but my rack will have adjustable depth so if I get a super long case in the future it will still fit. Thanks ahead of time. Hey y'all, I just need to know if theres any solution or if I just made an expensive mistake (also due to inexperience with RGB). So, I recently bought some parts to upgrade my system (Ryzen 5 2600, asus prime b450-plus, rosewill prism s500), and the case includes some RGB lighting and fans. Now, because I have no experience with using RGB in my builds, especially Asus Aura, I didn't realize there were two types of connectors. My motherboard (I believe) only has a 12v header, while the controller included in the case only supports 5v. The fans and strip can be controlled through the button on the case with power from the PSU, but that only offers the premade versions. Now, there is likely not a converter or something available, but I want to know if there is. Or, potentially, if there is a way to get an inexpensive system (<50-100 dollars) that is small, subtle, and could control those fans through Asus Aura (like an arduino or something). Is there any way to fix the mistake I've made without buying a whole new motherboard?

I am using a Rosewill photon or something in my system, an 80+ bronze non modular thing I got from a friend a while ago. My brother uses some 80+ bronze rosewill thing a friend of mine donated after I cheaped out and got a $20 apevia unit from amazon (learned the hard way not to skimp on a PSU.) We've been using these units for a while and I was wondering what kind of upgrades would be ideal, since power supplies don't last forever. I really like the idea of the EVGA supernova G3 650W. The modular cables will make my messy case a lot easier. My brother uses an i5 and a gtx 970, so what should he consider? He isn't a hardcore gamer, so an i5 and a mid end GPU is his future in gaming. I am getting an 8086k, so I know 650W is where I should be at.

I have a Rosewill tyrfing, and I was wondering if it's a good idea to paint the inside of my case. It's black on the inside and outside I want it white. Should I use high temp spray? How many coats on inside and outside?

Semi-Modular. Definitely a boon for building and cable management. I would never go non-modular. While full-modular would've been perfect, especially with custom cables, all of that is money I'd rather spend on other parts of my setup. 550 watts. It's plenty. As I've said before, high wattage is overrated. 550 is enough for even a 1080 Ti and video cards will never get hungrier than that. Build Quality. A little bit on the cheap side, but it's not a problem. It functions well. Reliability. I waited 7 months to write this review. So far, it's going quite well. No issues whatsoever. Noise. It ranges from quiet to slightly noisy depending on load. The noise won't be a problem for most PC's; it's still more quiet than many others out there. In my build that focuses on silence, it is the loudest part at full load, but that doesn't say a lot. The most dedicated silent-heads will want another PSU, but most other enthusiasts won't find issue with this power supply. Fan Modding. It uses a non-stand 2-pin fan. I originally gave it a 140mm fan that was hooked up to my motherboard to try to reduce the noise. It worked well for a few months with no problems, but ultimately I decided to just put its original fan back in. I would assume there are bett designed 2-pin fans that would work with it. Good PSU for the money. 7.5/10

Im looking at getting the Rosewill RSV-L4000 and I seem to find mixed results on rad support. Can I mount a 360mm radiator? If I can without modding, will it have room for push pull? Also any recommendations on 80mm replacements for back fans, Noise not that concerning (My hearing is terrible and Im probably shoving in a closet)

Hey guys. Looking for a reliable 550W 80+ bronze or 80+ gold psu. Reading reviews and finding a lot of DOA reviews on newegg, from brands like corsair and rosewill. Wondering if any of you have any good suggestions so I can make an alright decision.

Hello, I'm getting a PSU for $80 and I found 2 good ones, a 750w by Corsair and a 850w by Rosewill. Reviews on the Corsair say it doesn't last that long, but hey it's by Corsair. However people are saying really good reviews on the Rosewill, but no one knows much about Rosewill. What should I do?

Will this ATX PSU fit in a Micro ATX case? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FPs8TW/rosewill-power-supply-quark550 thanks.

This may be a noob question, but it has stumped me so I'm hoping you all can help me figure it out. A few years ago I bought a Rosewill Stealth ATX Mid Tower as part of my first real build. It, among other things, features 2 "fan controllers" at the top. They are these sliders with high, medium, and low. They appear to connect to the rest of the fans via both molex connectors and 3 pins. I really wasn't sure how to integrate them into my network of fans when I first did my build, so I just left them disconnected and power my fans directly from either the motherboard or the power supply. They very quietly and my temps remained low. Fast forward to today, where I have now bought 2 Rosewill 120mm RFA case fans (red of course). My main goal was to increase airflow and add more Red LEDs. So I connected (using the included 3pin to molex adapters) them to the same chain that was powering the front 2 fans. Everything powered on well, but my new fans are spinning really fast, so they are noticeably loud (not launch day ps4 loud, but, oh my computer actually makes sound loud). Therefore, I want to set them up with the fan controllers, and lower the speed, since right now I really don't need them blowing exhaust 3 small freedom units above the case. Please let me know if anyone has any experience with these fans, this case, or similarly designed fan controllers in general, and if you all have any suggestions. Thanks! UPDATE: Success! I switched up my internal wiring so that the molex connectors from the PSU now feed the controllers, and the 3pin connectors (2 for each controller) go to my sets of fans. Now, I can separately control the speeds of my top fans and my front fans. The others are connected directly to the motherboard. Thanks for the help!
