So I have a 4790k and a 1080ti and I recently bought a new monitor lg 34uc79g-b. When I first bought the monitor RL ran butter smooth no issues, recently there is stutter when I am playing. I tried everything short of re-installing windows 10. I tried going back to my old screen (60hz) older dell, tried moving game files to SSD and tried using my 980 ti still same issue. Any ideas for a fix that doesn't involve using triple buffering v-sync because that's the only thing that helps but not an option because of input lag.

I just finished renovating my PC with an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 mobo, 2500k, and 16gigs of ddr4 g.skill sniper series RAM (1600mhz). I also just kept in my GeForce gtx 460 in the system, I plan on upgrading to the R9 Fury X when Vega and Ryzen releases. On startup, everything worked fine. After installing all the necessary drivers from the Asrock website, (chipset, sata 3, usb 3, but not the sound driver, because I don't need it, looks like.) I benchmarked, played a good bit of rocket league, etc. Everything worked fine. Then, I shut off my PC, satisfied, and went to bed. Next morning, everything worked fine (again). Booted into my desktop and waited (HDD 1st world problems, ugh). After I had the feeling I could move around my desktop without the HDD being slow, I booted into rocket league. Well, you could say booted. As soon as the music started playing, the video started clipping and then the entire thing crashed and totally freaked out. I got really weird noises coming through my headphones, this screaming distorted sound that sounded like the pc was dying essentially. I got really weird half-bits of the screen and weird colours all over the place, getting parts of rocket league and part black, until the system reset itself. Yes, it reset itself. I touched nothing. I repeated this process several times each time with different types of crashes. Sometimes windows forced the system to shutdown, and sometimes it crashed back into the desktop and froze, forcing me to reset the PC myself. Eventually I just decided to reinstall all the drivers to find out what went wrong. I uninstalled the GPU and motherboard drivers without success, each individually to see if that was the problem. Nothing worked. The system works fine under load, I ran heaven and valley, the unigine benchmarks, and found no problems. But I then try and launch rocket league, or any other steam game for that matter, and the system crashes or freezes or resets, or coughs spits and dies. Now I think, what the heck, I'll try downloading those drivers again, what can I lose? Nothing apparently. I download the EXACT SAME chipset driver off the asrock website, reboot, and everything, EVERY GAME launches fine. I think, Huh, that's weird. and then I turn my system on and off again. Now the games will NOT boot at all. I get the freaky noises and broken screens. Sometimes by just rebooting over and over, I get normal booting into the games, but the GPU artifacts like crazy (it also refuses to apply my 300 MHz overclock) and then crashes later down the road. Does anyone have any idea what could be happening? I suspect something softwareish going on, because in one of my experiments I got the games to run by repairing DX9 to run rocket league, but idk. I really don't know much about this kind of problem. It's probably something dreadfully simple I've overlooked. Thanks for your help

So I've had Rocket League for about 2 weeks now and its works absolutely fine, only a few ping issues which were solved simply by switching lobbies. But today I get on and every single match I'm in I have a constant 300+ ping only going down to about 200 occasionally. I thought maybe I just had a bad connection to the lobby since my friend (who has the same internet provider in the same town as me) Still had about 30 ping. Well, that didn't fix anything, I still had the outrageously high ping. My second thought then was to test my internet using Speedtest.net and pingtest.net which both said my ping was around 35. So I hop back into rocket league but its still terrible. At this point Im kinda confused so I booted up good 'ol minecraft to see if i had any latency issues on some servers there, but nope, that worked perfectly fine. So now I get to the googling. Ive found that other people are having this same issue but nowhere did I see a fix. One guy said that the free version of "Latency Optimizer 4" would work but of course it didn't. And now we arrive here at the forum. Please help. If it helps to know my rig is on wifi not ethernet because i didnt want to buy a really long ethernet cable and snake it though my house.

Hey everyone, So i had this problem for a while and after some messing around always found a temporary solution, but this time i cant figure it out. The problem: I have a laptop with a Quadro M1000M inside. Occasionally i run rocket league on this machine and it handles it with a perfect 60 fps. But sometimes it runs only at about 22 fps. What if have done: Most topics i could find by googling were about the hybrid gpu functions most laptops have. I changed the bios such that the laptop always uses the dedicated gpu. This seemed to work, but the problem has now returned. I also installed the newest driver for the gpu. This is the most important thing i did. What i know: So i know that the game is running using the dedicated gpu. Also looking at the task manager there is nothing that is even above 40% so i don't think that is where the problem is. Also when looking at gpu-z i see that the gpu hits 100%. I included some screenshots with additional information. Thanks in advance for taking some of your time

Source: Rocket League | Epic Games Fortnite Psyonix, creators of Rocket League, and now owned by Epic Games, will be removing all paid, randomized crates from the game later this year. Psyonix and Epic Games - which I will now be referring to as Epic collectively - say they are removing randomized crates from Rocket League to create the best possible experience for their playerbase and to give full transparency on what players should expect out of a loot crate. Epic referred to a Fortnite article published earlier this year over on Epic Games' website explaining what would be happening with llama crates. I don't know too much about Fortnite but from what I can gather, what Epic were after in Fortnite's case was to show the player exactly what they were unboxing if they chose to unbox a loot crate, rather than unbox and have a chance of unboxing a certain item of a certain rarity. I love this implementation as it means players won't need to gamble for items and can see exactly what they're going to get, sort of like purchasing a booster pack instead of playing a game at the slot machine for a chance to win something big. A majority of us like to berate Epic for their business practise but as a Rocket League player and esports watcher of the game, I like this. If Epic lives up to what they're saying and will implement the X-ray style of unboxing crates, we Rocket League players are in for a treat. One does wonder if they will completely remove randomized crates like they're claiming, but only time will tell as they have said the update will be 'later this year', and have mentioned at the end of the article that they will have updates in the coming months.

Guys, I am curious to know when will Rocket league hit the epic store? I know most of you guys are super against this motion, but as long as Rocket league is growing as a mainstream Esports title I am happy with their decisions. Will Rocket League becomes free to play if they hit the epic store as epic takes a much lower cut than Steam? In my opinion, epic must make a better UI for their epic store cause the current one is simply trash.

Looks like Epic Games has chosen to acquire another launcher exclusive in the form of acquiring Psyonix, the studio notably behind "Rocket League". As such, Rocket League will no longer be available for purchase on Steam once it's available on the Epic Games Store. If you already own it on Steam you should be able to keep it on your account and continue receiving updates, but if the deal finalizes, then going forward, it will have to be purchased through the Epic Games Store for on PC. As per Rocket League's announcement, it hasn't yet fully finalized, but: EDIT: Adding this in to source it. As per GameInformer's arcticle, Epic stated to them: Sources: https://www.engadget.com/2019/05/01/epic-buys-psyonix/ https://www.rocketleague.com/news/psyonix-is-joining-the-epic-family-/ https://www.gameinformer.com/2019/05/01/epic-games-acquires-rocket-league-developer-psyonix

Hey People sorry if this is in the wrong section.First time ever writing on a forum asking for advice, but i feel this problem is just so weird, I want to see if anyone can come up with a solution.A quick background, I have worked in computer retail for a number of years and in my spare time have built plenty of systems and offered computer troubleshooting to anyone that required it so i am relatively computer savvy. So as title said I have installed a 2700x, Rog Strix 470-f Gaming and 32gb ddr4 3000mhz Team group ram (2x16gb) upgrading from my old amd 8350, and 8gb system. The SSD and HDDs from the old system have remained as these are pretty new (1Tb samsung 860 evo , 2tb wd blue and an archive drive i ripped from and 8tb back-up plus.)The problem started after installing my new parts, everything ran fine in regards to general use, ie was able to download drivers, steam, chrome, revit. I was even able to download all my games on steam and watch YouTube at 4k (not on a 4k display just to check speed was sufficient). Here is where it gets a little strange so when i try to play rocket league, cs go, dirt Rally 2.0(works but wont save so therefore useless) none of the online play would work. so I would get into a game the loading screen would happen and just as the game is about to start I get kicked or in the case of RL i get to the countdown and either get to drive around but have a disconnect logo in the corner for a minute. I have tried other games to rule this out as a local problem, Fortnite and a few origin games. The only game that works online was league of legends. Now all of these games play in solo modes, i can do training mode in RL and play against bots in cs:go.Ok now for some of the things i have done to try and rule out certain factors.Initially I thought router was being the problem so i spent hours port forwarding, resetting, turning off and on firewalls (The virgin media router is slow) In the end I tethered my phone using 4g and this still caused the same issue to repeat itself.I deleted and installed the drivers again.I updated the bios.I ran ipconfig refresh renew netsh winsock refresh the whole lot. (not exactly like that but you get what I mean)I took out a stick of Ram.I changed my GPU back to my old 780I formatted all my drives and reinstalled windows several times.(This didnt work)I turned off my Windows firewalls.I have returned and bought a new motherboard (Previous one was the Msi x470 gaming pro carbon as I believed this was the initial problem. )I dont Run a Anti-Virus (never have)(also just so that a solution isn't to turn off AV)I downloaded malwarebytes and ran a full scan (on afresh system silly I know but after 3 days of troubleshooting I was getting desperate)In the end the only thing that was a solution was to reinstall my old mobo (it worked Immediately) but is not really a solution because I have just bought all these new parts.I am getting a friend to bring over his ddr4 ram later to try see if it is a ram issue but doubtful.I am at the end of my tether with this and the only things that I have been unable to test have been the CPU and Ram but I cant see how these could disconnect me from playing and online game.Much help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I've recently built a new pc and started playing Rocket League again I've been off the game for a couple weeks so I'm not sure if this is a know bug/glitch with the recent update or if my computer has a problem. During kickoff, one of the corner full-boosts is gone but when I drive over it I still get the boost as if it was there. The boost then respawns as normal and doesn't go invisible but during random parts of a match another boost will go invisible and perform the same. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi everyone, I live in India but the ping I get for asia servers is above 180ms When using recommended server, it takes me to EU servers which also gives me 120-160ms latency I contacted RL support multiple times for this but they couldn't identify the issue. Is there anyone with a solution here by any chance?

So I'm planning on making a small pc build made for the sole purpose of playing Rocket League with 4 player split-screen. I'll be using 4 wired ps4 controllers. Basically I'm trying to make a console(ish) sized pc. I have an FX-8350 that's just laying around and want to give it a final home (DISCLAIMER: I am NOT planning on overclocking it and will in fact be UNDER-clocking it, most likely starting at 3GHz). I have an extra ssd and 8GB DDR3 RAM stick that I can use. I've already pick out the remaining parts (see list below). My question is what would be the best motherboard for this purpose? Should I spend a little extra on the motherboard? Could I "cheap" out on it? I tried looking for a mini atx board but those are apparently non-existent for AMD but if you find one let me know so I can get a smaller case since I want a small pc that I can take to LAN parties, etc. The motherboard I'm planning on defaulting to is here just in case this post doesn't yield any results. Summary Starting later this summer, the popular game Rocket League will become free to play. Those who currently own the game will get a legacy status (similar to the CS:GO Loyalty Badge). This will also come with some major updates to the in-game menus and make the game easier to explore. When this update comes, Rocket League will come to the Epic Games Store. Quotes My thoughts As someone who currently owns Rocket League but never plays, I am excited for this. I think with the game becoming free, more players will join and it will be easier to play with friends. And I know @RILEYISMYNAME will be excited for this Sources Rocket League Announcement usatoday

Hello, I'd like to play with someone English-speaking in Rocket League. My rank is Platinium 1, but if you're on gold - I will also be happy to play with you. I have an account on Steam and on PS4, but if you wanted to trade more items and crates I have a PS4 account. I prefer to play in the evenings, I am most interested in playing with players with a lot of crates and items, I am very happy to buy rocket league items PSNID or Steam account via PM. One more thing when it comes to trading crates and items, I have already done too many transactions and I know from experience that I can buy and sell rocket league items safely using Odealo only. So if you want to trade items or crates with me, it's just via Odealo https://odealo.com/games/rocket-league From my experience, it's best poe shop for buy rocket league items

Hi, so recently I've gotten more in Rocket League for PC, and I happened to notice that the vibration is super weak on PC w/ controller compared to straight-up PS4 play. My DS4 with PC feels about 20% the vibration I'd get on my PS4. It's super weak and I'm looking for ways to make it more aggressive and rumble harder. I've already set my in-game Rocket League vibration setting to the max and Steam Big Picture mode's controller settings to 'On' (very descriptive, by the way, Steam), and yet the vibration feels minimal. What else can I do to make vibration heavier and more aggressive? Is there even ways to? I've read up online about ways to but as far I've searched, no third-party programs really have concise vibration features, and I'm not really into getting a third-party app just for vibration, but it's possible.
