Purchased all of my parts for a new build — waiting on everything else to get here, but wanted to look into the case I got yesterday and figure out the RGB hub in the meantime. I almost returned the case last night, but I think I can make it work, it’s only my second build. I am STRESSED — do I need to even use the RGB/fan hub? Can I control the RGB of the fractal fans that come with it AND my Corsair h150i elite lcd AIO through the hub? And if I decide not to use the fan hub, do I still need to plug it in via the sata/pwm? Or am I just better off doing the fans on their own, and the AIO via the command core that comes with it? I know ultimately I still have to plug in the front I/o sata connection, but just not sure what the right step is here. The manual directions have to be the most vague I’ve come across. I know this is a super loaded ask, but any feedback is appreciated.

Im not sure if this is the right section to ask this. I'm at my wits end, Gigabyte can't help me(big surprise) I've googled, ebay'd, aliexpress searched and I can't find anything. I have an Aorus c700(I know I'm a fanboy) I got this case on a great deal, and I stupidly snapped these pins off this pcb while removing the side panel, I see quite a few cases by other companies like Be Quiet!, use the same pcb to get RBG to front panels and side panels. Does anyone know anywhere where I can get this pcb? I really don't want to buy a whole new chassis. I can live without the side panel rgb it's no big deal, but if I can fix it I would like to. Thanks. (attaches pics for the one I broke and other cases that use the same one)

Hey there! My first time here in a while, but I really need your help or advice. I am planning to upgrade my gear to Ryzen 5900X (which my girlfriend got me as a surprise ). You can see my planned build via the PCPP. Right now I am stuck with the following: CPU: Intel Core i7-7700k CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i MB: ASUS Maximus IX HERO GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 2070 Super 8G RAM: 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB DDR4-3200 SSD: Samsung 960 EVO SSD 250GB NVMe HDD: 2x Seagate FireCude SSHD 2TB PSU: Corsair HX 80+ Platinum 750W Modular ATX Case: Corsair Carbide Series Air 740 Now I am looking for two things, if you would be so kind: 1. Is there a way to use the EK-AIO D-RGB together with iCUE? I know that iCUE does not support A-RGB to date. However, because Aura Sync is supported, I can easily control all devices via iCUE in terms of RGB... except for the planned EKWB radiator block. But since I'm not really a fan of the Corsair Hydro-Series (primarily for aesthetic reasons tbh), I'm in a bit of a quandary right now. If someone could help me, I would be very grateful! 2. Can you give me some general feedback on my build? My goal is to create a healthy mix of gaming and media workstation for my studies and my job. My budget doesn't really matter to me, even though, as you can see, I'm happy to take over old, still good parts (such as the RAM and PSU etc.), because why throw extra money out the window for them again? However, the switch to more cores as well as SSDs only is especially important to me. Regarding the graphics card... Well, let's put it this way: I couldn't wait and decided on the 2070 SUPER just 5 months before the release of the 3000 series. In retrospect, that might not have been a bad idea, because the release was rather meh In the future, I will probably still want to switch to the 3070 or 3080. The old card will then be given to my siblings. They will certainly be happy about it It would still be great if you could take a look at it and present any improvements. I'm really open to anything and if more info is needed, I'll reply as soon as I can! I've already put together a few PCs, but this one I really want to have planned down to the last corner. It's fun somewhere, isn't it? Otherwise, thanks for reading through all this and taking the time. I wish you all the best, stay healthy and get through these very special times

I have a few RBG lights in my room and PC case. I want to be able to control them when I am in bed with my phone and when I am using my PC. My magic home RGB controller works fine with my phone but I also have to use my asus motherboard to control my addressable rgb fans, i tried using armory crate on my phone, but I can't get any connection working. can anyone help me? thank you

Starting up my computer the rgb settings on my motherboard and other rgb items apply then after getting into windows at random times the motherboard and rgb header lights will turn off entirely but the ram will remain at my preset until I open rgb fusion again. Then after closing rgb fusion the lights will stay on for about 2 -3 minutes and then turn completely off again except the ram. The headache journey has ended. I have TUF B450 PRO GAMING, already bought components only to realize my motherboard only supports RGB HEADER (12v4pins) and no ARGB HEADER(5v3pins) at all and I have ARGB COMPONENTS T.T My goal is just to have everything in sync with my board, so I can control them from there. So I had to buy a converter and a hub (which would've cost me an upgrade of motherboard already with ARGB header, but I just can't let go of this TUF because of the good ratings and because I already have it) If you have multiple ARGB components like me (I have M.2 heatsink, fans, cpu cooler), you can just buy an ARGB hub which supports SATA connection from your PSU so it would draw it's power from there, then connect all your ARGB components into the hub, then into the Deepcool converter (converts ARGB-RGB), then into the RGB header of your board. The main downside is it would basically make your ARGB components RGB. And some of the effects on Aura Sync would have problems like in the rainbow transitioning, all the components kinda flash into a different color when transitioning to another one, they kinda struggle to produce the next color since it has downgraded into RGB. Will let you know if it ends up messing up my system in a week or so. Hope it doesn't lmao

I have a new 680x RGB showing up in a couple of days, and I am transplanting my system from a Crystal 460. I have 3 HD120 and 2 ML120 PRO RGBs to fill the slots in the new case. I also have a Commander Pro in my current case, I kinda figure I am going to need both, but how do I get it all hooked up and running in iCue?

Hello, I need some help please! I am buying a pc off a colleague from work: I5 6600k, Asus Z170 pro gaming, 16 gb 3200mhz ram, Asos rog strx gtx 970, 500gb samsung ssd, zalman 600w psu. I want to buy a new case for it either the H510 or the 4000D both in white and I need some new rgb fans, can anyone help with telling me if there are any budget fans compatible (not tech savvy) any help would be appreciated!!

I've been experiencing some really strange lighting issues with my fans lately. Many of my fans don't light up or light up the wrong color. This persists after a restart. Then at some point, one or two green LEDs flash on one of my fans on and off for several minutes and then all LEDs magically start working. I have my fans arranged in a Lian Li O11 Dynamic with 9 LL120 RGB fans (3 fans on top, 3 fans on side, 3 fans on bottom). Here is my arrangement: Commander Pro LED Port 1 --> RGB Hub 1 --> 6 fans (1-3 on top, 4-6 on side) Commander Pro LED Port 2 --> RGB Hub 2 --> 3 fans (7-9 on bottom) Fan 1 partially lights up while fans 2-6 are all dark. Fans 7-9 have no issues. I initially thought it was an issue with RGB Hub 1 so I swapped it out with an extra one, no difference. Then, I swapped the connections so: Commander Pro LED Port 1 --> RGB Hub 2 --> 3 fans (7-9 on bottom) Commander Pro LED Port 2 --> RGB Hub 1 --> 6 fans (1-3 on top, 4-6 on side) This seemed to have fixed my issue so I was going to just ask Corsair for a new Commander Pro, thinking one of the ports was bad or something. But the issue came back with the SAME FANS (1-6). I feel like it's very unlikely 6 of my fans would decide to have issues all at the same time, and since I eliminated several hardware problems, either my Commander Pro is faulty or I'm having software issues. Any help would be appreciated!

I ordered a new sata cable, still new to the pc world. My friend he said i ordered the right cable. I plugged it in to my psu unplugged my liquid cooler pump from the other sata cable psu. Plugged into the new sata psu cable and plugged in my rgb for fans into new sata. Plugged power back in and flipped switch. Lit up the motherboard and pressed the button but nothing. So i flipped the sata cable plug ins on the psu still nothing. Unplugged the new sata cable and turned on. Its a cx750m corsair psu. Not sure what the issue may be. Also when i switched the cables on the psu i unplugged the new sata cable but left the old one switched and it turned on.

Bought new Corsair RGB fans. What RGB Hub should I buy?
Infinite08 posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Okay, I just recently bought 2 packs of Corsair SP120 RGB PRO fans. Unfortunately, my motherboard doesn't have connectors for 6 fans and the hub these fans come with only control the RGB. They don't power the fans. What would be my best choice to getting these fans hooked up and running? A splitter? I really don't know. This is my first time dabbling with RGB and boy has it not started off strong. Thanks in advance, guys. -
Hey, I've been dealing with this issue since i built PC with NZXT Kraken x63. All cables are connected correctly as it's written in Manual of installation. The AIO is working really well on OC 8700k,it can also be detected in NZXT Cam with The strip of NZXT H510i. I Can change everything except pump RGB Light (Circle/Led) and its only visible in the one corner, can't even light up NZXT Logo (Check the real image).I've tried different usb ports and other sata connectors but still same. Am i doing something wrong or it has dead Led on pump? Should i contact the seller? Thanks.

hello, i recently got the phanteks p500a drgb version, as well as 2 sets of the phanteks neon drgb strip combos (1 set has 2 strips). my motherboard is the strix x470-f and has one 5v argb header. i have the 3 included case fans and the case's drgb strip currently daisy chained and plugged into the mobo header. i was wondering if adding those extra drgb strips (4 to be added in total) would overload the header on the motherboard? sorry im not too good with figuring out this kind of thing, i just wanna make sure i dont blow up the header from too much current or anything

Heyo! I'm pretty new to computers so please be gentle on me. My current setup is: CASE: Asus tuf GT301 MOBO: Asus tuf gaming b460m-plus (wifi) COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 3 rgb case fans to a hub with an external sata power and a cable leading to chasfan1 header and another leading to the add_gen 2 header. What I want to do: I want to purchase 4 Cooler Master MASTERFAN SF120R RGB and my goal is to move the 3 rgb case fans that came with the case to be rear exhaust and top exhaust omitting the current non-rgb case fan that's currently only rear exaust. Then I want to use 3 of the new rgb fans as front intake and use the 4th as the pull on my cooler and to use the current cooler pull as a push on the other side of the tower and connect it to CPU_OPT. My question: How do I do all this. the fans have a link plug on them so i can link the 3 argb for the front to one header on my mobo and the cpu rgb one to another header for split control. Do those fans get power through the same cable or is there a seperate power cable i'd have to connect to my chassfan1 header and have rear and top exhaust to the chasfan2 header. That leaves me with another question would a hub with external power that only using the signal from those headers be ideal or can i just get extenders and link all the fans together to the chassis fan headers.

Before I begin, I need to expression my situation first. I'm planning a new build shortly. However I cannot build it myself. A friend of mine will be doing that. I need rgb fan controller advice. I want rgb, but if I have to not have it, that's fine. I've been planning an all white build, Linus' recent all white build video just encouraged me more. The case I'm planning to use is the NZXT with an NZXT N7 Z490 motherboard. I would like rgb because as his video proved, it looks wonderful in a white background. Furthermore, it needs a remote controller, hopefully to control the lighting or the fan speeds, but the lighting is mostly necessary. As for why, here's why. I am in a wheelchair. I cannot physically open the case to change these things. As for why that is, and why a friend will be building my pc for me, in 2017, I had a stroke. I cannot physically move my left side. I am in a wheelchair. Being disabled makes certain things impossible for me. I am asking for help here, as my last resort. I asked for help on reddit, specifically r/buildapc, and got none. Any hep would be appreciated. If im out of luck, I'll accept that. If I can get help that would be nice. Thanks in advance. In case anyone is wondering. I'm mostly doing a new build so I can play the new resident evil and the mass effect legendary edition when they drop. You might be wondering, how? I can play games with one arm. It just requires a controller. I have one, specifically modified by Ben Heck, for one handed right arm control. You can see more of that on his websites store. He has them for Xbox one and ps4. I have the Xbox one controller only right now, but out also works with pc, via USB, so I'm good there. I'm pretty sure resident evil will have pc controller support, because 7 did, and the controller support has already been confirmed for the legendary edition. Thanks again in advance.

hello, my wife just got her new case today, i put the pc all together and when i plugged it in the fans spun and the lights worked- BUT with my back turned, and my excited wife drooling at the pretty colors, she started tapping away at the remote that controls the RGB fans and now they dont work- WHAT DO I DO??????? ive tried every small trick i can think of to fix this. are the fans shorted out? or would it just be the small board used to power the fans that shorted out? we need proper airflow for the pc, stock cooler, PSU and GPU fans run but no effort from the case and no response from the remote either.

Does anyone know if the Fractal Design Prisma AL-14 PWM 140mm fans can be hooked up to a iCUE Commander PRO controller and used with the iCUE software? Trying to make a purchase decision.

I'm planning on doing all Corsair RGB for my pc. The plan in to have 3 intake fans on the front, 2 fans on top with a radiator (probably exhaust), and one on the back, for a total of 6 fans. Would the Corsair Commander Pro be enough, or would I also need anything else, or would something else be better?

Budget (including currency): ~$300 for 9 120mm fans + ~$50 for a controller (was planning to purchase the Corsair Commander Pro). Country: Europe Hey guys. Looking to purchase 9 premium, 120mm quiet, RGB fans for my custom Lian Li PC-O11-Dynamic build. I was (and still am) originally looking at Corsair's LL and QL series of fans, but I like the look of the LL's a bit more, due to their rectangular housing, which I prefer over the QL's (I know QL fans have more LED's). MAIN QUESTION: Are there any alternatives worth looking at? The main build: CPU: 5900X Cooler: Arctic LF II 360 Motherboard: ROG X570 Strix-E Memory: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 GPU: waiting for the potential release of the RTX 3080 Ti, and for anyone asking - no I don't mind the wait, even with my components waiting quietly in storage at the moment Storage: 970 EVO Plus 2TB PSU: Corsair RM1000x

Hey, I wanted to know if the fans included with the antec nx800 are compatibly with the gigabyte z390 pro. The case comes with a controller. Is there a way to connect it to the motherboard and control it through rgb fusion?

I just bought a AIO RGB X73 from NZXT, But I'm only now discovering that I can't control my fans RGB. Some are saying you need the fan hub, others aren't. I'm very confused, about this ordeal. Suggestions, help?

Ok so if anyone might know how to help please feel free... i had bought thermaltake toughpower grand rgb 850 watt psu from Newegg and installed it. Made sure to check my cables and pins but it would not power my pc, wouldn’t even power the rgb on the psu. After contacting Newegg and getting a refund I re-installed my old Corsair six 700 watt power supply only to find out that my cpu no longer works which was working before the installation of the thermaltake psu reached out to Newegg again they tell me to call thermaltake. I’ve left several messages because about 5 min into the call I get sent to their tech support voicemail no one has called me back. I called Newegg back and was told I should create a support ticket on their website so that Newegg could mediate a resolution. And so I did I created a ticket and called Newegg back and for some reason the person that was helping me has yet to reach back to me. This has all happened a little over a week ago. If anyone has any idea to to get thermaltake to actually respond please let me know
