So I watched the recent video and again got cringed (again) as to why LTT still not aware of this... We all know that OEM RGB software are hot garbage, even iCUE and Chroma (I can hear the fan boys already running at me), and SignalRGB is a paid hot garbage. So you are probably asking: But Barak??? if all of them are hot garbage what do I do?! Well all you need is... OpenRGB - This will be the driver for the LEDs, it will replace all of the malware OEM software. (it's optional but extremely recommended) Artemis 2 - This will be the controller, it will set the color of the LEDs (it can also be used with the OEM drivers if the device isn't supported in OpenRGB yet) The initial setup is pretty easy, creating profiles is also pretty easy and you can use the pre-made ones from the workshop. Why it's so great? because... It's FREE forever. It's open source and very active. It's fast and lightweight, it mainly uses the GPU so it barely use any CPU unlike almost all RGB software and the GPU usage isn't noticeable. You can calibrate the LEDs to fix miss matching colors between LEDs. You can map the LEDs in physical space. It's extremely customizable and has so many effects and plugins.... You can even integrate it with AlienFX, Logitech BS, Razer Chroma and some others, it also can use stuff like PC state, power state, inputs and stuff. It will even support the Windows 11 dynamic lighting soon (Though do we really need that?...) You can even create your own DIY RGB device and control it with this.... It can be combined with Wallpaper Engine via the Chroma integration and it's Fing amazing. And many, many more I'm just too lazy to list them out. You probably saying: But Barak??? This sounds amazing but OpenRGB it warned me that it can harm my LEDs! Sometimes you need to take risks in life nah I'm kidding, Any RGB software even the OEM ones can harm your LEDs it all depends on how you drive the LEDs. It's mainly boil down to refresh rate, the higher the refresh rate the faster that you'll burn you LEDs, I personally go with 20FPS, up to 45FPS is great and even 120FPS (if you LEDs can even support that) is still somewhat ok. Some OEM software are killing your LEDs by using high refresh rate or even updating the LEDs when they are already displaying the desired color, so OpenRGB can actually extend the LEDs life span. There are some issues with specific devices that has a terrible RGB hardware, mainly MSI so if something broke check their discord. Also the device it self will probably break before the LEDs will burn out... So yeah, this is the absolute best solution to the RGB issue and so many people aren't aware of it at all... Conspiracy theory time: SignalRGB was a sponsor in the past so maybe LTT ignores this solution? who knows, but hi that's just a theory, a PC nerdy theory, thanks for reading. (R.I.P MatPat)

I built a new PC last month and I'm having issues getting my PC to boot when my 3-PIN LED is plugged into my Motherboard from my Hub/Fan controller (which was included with my Cabinet) . My case FAN turns on immediately when the PSU is turned on, But my PC won't boot or start ( CPU Fans just start and then stop) after I press the Power Button on the case. So When I unplug the 3 Pin RGB Header from my Motherboard my PC boots normally when I press the power button on the case, but now I don't have any RGB in my case fan (as 3-pin RGB is not plugged into Motherboard). Kindly help me to resolve this issue. I also replaced my Fan Hub/Controller with a new one and had the same issue. I'm new here, so if I should have included anything else, let me know. About a year ago from today i built my own pc with specs that are listed below. Well ive never had any issues with the build up until a week or two ago when the RGB fans on the case stopped working. To be clear the fans still spin and function perfectly fine, just the RGB no longer turns on. I have never used any sort of RGB controlling software as i thought the default colors and stuff was fine. The case i bought also included a few buttons to change the RGB profile and make it switch what it was doing. Now upon turning on my computer my fans turn on just fine but the RGB doesnt. I have tried putting the RGB headers into different RGB header spots on the motherboard but that does nothing. I have noticed that they will flicker on and then off when i turn my pc, on so i think it might have something to do with windows rather than my hardware. I also noticed that windows 11 recently updated with the dynamic lighting thing which is also one of the main reasons i believe it has something to do with windows. I have tried messing around with the dynamic lighting settings to no avail so hopefully someone here is able to help. PC Specs: Case - Lian Li Lancool 205 Mesh C Fans - Default fans inside of the case (i was unable to find the exact name of them but they seem to not be specifically sold anywhere) CPU - Ryzen 5 5600x GPU - Zotac GeForce RTX 3060 12gb version Motherboard - MSI B550 Torpedo PSU - Corsair CX-M Series CX750M 750 Watts RAM - Vengeance LPX DDR4 2x16gb Storage 1 (Boot Drive) - Crucial P3 PCIe 3.0 NVMe 2280 M.2 1 TB SSD Storage 2 - (i lost the box so i am unsure which one this is) 2 tb M.2 SSD Wifi/Bluetooth Card - ASUS PCE-AX3000 WiFi 6 PCI-E Adaptor OS - Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 64 bit

so im planning to put about 5/6 more argb peripherals in my pc a led bar, rgb fans , ssd cover, argb gpu cable, argb gpu holder and i wonder how many of them can i link up to just one chain link of fans or do i have to plug it in straight to the mobo? so it doesnt take too much power from only one argb 3 pin. im quite new to pc's so i dont really know alot about em

I'm looking to buy a cooler and a new case for my pc, and looking at my motherboard, it says it has A-rgb gen 2 headers The case I'm planning to buy is the Shadow Base 800 FX and the fans on (https://www.bequiet.com/en/casefans/3451) it say that they are compatible with argb, The cooler I'm planning on getting is the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 which says the same thing, Now here's the question, are they compatible?

Hey guys. I'm planning my next build and want to use Phanteks D30 fans as case fans and radiator fans. However I'm not a fan of the Phanteks Glacier One D30 pump block so I thought I'm gonna use a Deepcool AIO with D30 fans instead. But I was thinking how I would have to connect that whole thing afterwards. Correct me but is this correct: Pump power to CPU FAN 2/PUMP Pump RGB to motherboard (yes i would like to control that via motherboard) Fans power to CPU FAN 1 Fans RGB to RGB controller or daisy chain link Would that work?

I recently installed Deepcool's GAMMAXX L240 A-RGB in my PC and everything was working fine. But the next day, while working on my PC, BSOD happened and I had to restart my PC, after that my coolers fan were stuck with a dim blue colour (but the fans are running properly). I tried to change the colour with the RGB controller but only the AiO colour changed. IMG_20240115_192132373.jpg

Hello, I am about to upgrade my PC and have a few questions about signal rgb compatibility/recommendations. If I have compatible fans, motherboard, but my controller isn't listed on the website, can I still use the controller to avoid having to use an rgb splitter?I am planning on purchasing the Cooler Master SickleFlow 62 CFM 120 mm Fans and the NZXT H9 Flow ATX Mid Tower Case. I would like to fill out all of the fan slots so using less fans isn't really an option. For my motherboard I have the MSI PRO B650-P WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard which I also cant change as I purchased it with a bundle and am not sure about the return policy. For my budget I was looking at about 20-60 dollars for 9-10 a-rgb ports. I have been looking at the zalman z sync controller and have found a listing at at a reasonable price, though the controller only has 8 slots so I would need to use a splitter for two fans which defeats the purpose of using signal rgb's custom profiles. My other option I have seen is the Gelid Solutions Amber 8 Pro which I got from this post here: This controller would be perfect to have as it has the 10 ports I need along with PWM ports for fan power. Even though it is from the official sub, when I checked the website for signal rgb compatibility, it was not listed. Please comment your recommendations while considering my criteria Secondarily, I was planning on buying the NZXT Kraken 360 AIO, which is good for the price, though when I checked the signal rgb site to see if it was compatible I saw that the other nzxt coolers like the z73 are compatible, while the newer kraken 360 was not. I am assuming that this is because the z73 has the older nzxt fans with the outer ring rgb, while the kraken 360 has the updated fans with blade rgb. Though if the cooler is unsupported, I am concerned the the nzxt cam rgb software may fight for control with signal rgb. Do any of you know what would be the right pick? I'm not really wanting to upgrade to the z73 because of the near 100$ price jump though. If i need to switch could you please recommend me other aio's with LCD's. Thank you for your time readying this post, and hopefully thank you for your kind recommendations.

Hello everyone.. last month i asked a question here to know the manufacturing date of my old cooler master 850w psu .. and little did i know it was a 13-14 year old psu.. everyone recommended me to change that psu asap.. but i just bought my 3080ti.. I don't have a good budget.. my friend is selling me this cx750f rgb for a good price.. i am attaching a pic of that psu.. can anyone tell me the manufacturing date of that psu.. in old corsair psu we can tell the manufacturing date by looking at the serial no. But i think in newer psu this method doesn't apply.. And also one more question should this psu be enough for my build? Specs: Ryzen 5 5600x RTX 3080ti undervolted to 0.815v (300watt ish) 32gb ddr4 3200mhz cl16 ram And some rgb fans. Serial no. Of cx750f 0316212009802

Hello, I recently bought an ARGB fan kit from Cooler Master, the sickleflow 120 argb, and it has been a mess. Wasn't that familiar with RGB in general, but I also have a CPU air cooler, also from Cooler Master, that has RGB and it always worked fine with the motherboard RGB header. My first problem was that I wasn't able to chain link all conectors cause the CPU cooler one didn't come with one male and one female, just the one female to conect to the motherboard, so I coudn't wire everything to the one conector. Ok, so I bought a rbg splitter, thought that would do the trick, but as soon as I turned it on the lights were flickering nonstop, and after some research I discovered that my header was a 4-pin 12V RBG and the one I needed was a 3-pin 5V ARGB. Note that when I did this, altho they were flickering, they were also changing color. Cool, some more reaserch and I found out that a RGB converter should do the trick. Got this one: https://global.deepcool.com/products/Accessories/accessories/2021/11374.shtml Then finally, after weeks and a lot of rewiring and cable manegment, boot the computer up, and all the new fans are just partially lighting up (exacly like the image, no other colors). Note that the CPU one, that is also conected to the converter and going to the same old header, is working just fine. Another thing to note is that the orange and green one flickers just a little bit as well (brightness of the green LED in particular goes up for some quick moments). My motherboard is an ASUS Prime B450M Gaming, so I use Armoury Crate to control the CPU cooler and RAM lights, but it has literally no effect on the fans, even if I put something like a stactic color. So here is the thing, if the converter is not working, why are all of them random different colors? Why the CPU one works just fine? Did I break something? Am I missing something? My biggest fear by far is that I burned them when I put them in the 12V conector with the splitter. I haven't tried to use the manual RGB controller that comes with the fans, because I really wanted to sync with the CPU cooler, and also was dreading having to rewire again (there are so many f*cking wires omg) and didn't want to throw away the converter (imported it, so returning is not really an viable option). So if you can help me get a solution that allows me to control them from the armoury crate, that would be greatly apreciated. Thanks for reading through this mess lmao.

There's a 1 second part of a video, maybe an ROG related video, where linus sees some RGB and goes "cuz we're gamers!". I'm looking for that short clip to gif. Please please help me please, friends.

I have the Phantex P400a case and have had a problem for a while where I cant get the RGB hooked up to some software. I've tried using MSI for it but I ended up breaking it and didn't know what to do to get it back to working. I've read that you need to disconnect it front he controller but have no good idea on how to do that as I'm assuming it all covered by the top of the case. I have the MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI DDR4 ATX motherboard. I'm trying to hook it up to RGB Fusion but cant seem to find it. Any ideas of what I need to do or am I just being dumb?

Hi all, I have an idea in mind for a summer party, yes its early but takes time to get parts test and make sure every thing works as planned lol, I currently have a Lenovo Thinkpad T440p (Old i know) laptop im planning on using as the back bone for a summer party for the family using software to control our music playlist, visual effects ect. This is the plan so far and would like some help finding the best mix of software and hardware to blend into one epic party, so heres the plan, Music is going to be played using Mixxx as have found this to be a fairly easy software to set up and has minimal overhead EQ room correction for the speakers is going to be dealt with by Equilizer APO as this interfaces directly with windows hardware level sound processing and again find it fairly easy to set up, i run this for the home cinema pc and it handls multiple channel processing. now for the unknown lol Im thinking of using MusicBeam for our projector which will be used to create a sort of backdrop for the setup using our family projector, never used this before but it has the kind of look im going for. in terms of lighting beyond this i wa thinking of using Signal RGB in Audio Visulizer to deal with the rest of the setup in mind using RGB strips, devices ect, some fitted into the speakers, some of the freestanding desk type ect, just as little accent peices for the setup, nothing to expensive but that take the standard rgb signal, however, this requires a controller or two, and since im using a laptop i have USB to work with, not many mind you, 2x USB 3.0 and 1x USB 2.0, x1 USB 3.0 will be used for an external drive storing the music playlist, another will be for an external sound card as the internal one isnt amazing, im looking for something cabable of shifting the workload off the cpu onto an internal processor, yet to be looked into, and the final one for the RGB control possibly through a powered hub to provide enough outputs if required. There will be an RGB strip around the celing using 4 pin RGB one of those amazon kits, but the controller doesnt have the capability to be controlled other than through the remote and i think it would be cool to include it in the setup, there maybe the addition of Calex brand WRGB GU10 spot lights that if possible would be fun to take control of however these are bluetooth and to my knowledge dont have Windows Support, perfect for standard house use, but might not be doable for what i have in mind lol. Im doing this on a budget bare in mind, and would love this to be a system using mostly PC RGB controllers and devices that i can take apart and use on mine and my partners gaming rigs after, hence the PC aspect of it, I have been wondering how far the PC RGB market has gone and how many other uses it has, and what better way than by a party right? If anyone has any ideas on hardware or other software that might be better suited do let me know, oh and if any of the LMG team want to chime in or maybe this could be a video for you guys im happy to be the guineepig figure out some of the headaches for you. Any advice is appreciated, any help any feedback anything really, this is a project over a couple of months so it will take some time. Thanks all,

So i just finished building a pc for a friend: specs: Ryzen 7 2700X MSI X370 GAMING PLUS 2x8GB Corsair DDR4 Strix GTX1070 Sharkoon TG5 RGB an ssd, wifi card, cpu cooler but those dont matter? So after hooking everything up and booting i was trying to download the msi software to change the RGB color. But mystic light isnt supported on a X370 mobo apearantly, but it does have a RGB LED connector. The 4 fans + CPU fan + LED strip connected to the LED header are all white. Is there any solution, maybe 3th party software that can fix it. cause this kinda sucks tnx in advance

I'm having trouble finding a program for my ekwb water block, gpu block and resivoir. I have corsair icue link fans and I'm using ocue to control those fans and I wish to keep using icue. I have a nzxth motherboard but nzxt can won't let me control them. I just need a program that I can use with icue and also be able to control my other rgb products.

So i built my pc a few days ago using the asus tuf b550-e wifi motherboard, thermaltake 20mt case with rgb fans and corsair vengance pro rgb ram, i installed the icue for corsair lighting, installed the patch for the lighting for the ram to work with aura sync and it did, the problem being that it doesnt start on startup, i have to open icue, then open aura sync, they link up, close icue and then set up the coloring, and of course it works but is there a way of making it work from the start? maybe deleting icue? idk

Hey all, weird question here. Does anyone know where a Canadian might find 140mm fans with 12v 4-pin RGB LEDs? Everything I can find searching on amazon/aliexpress is 3-pin 5v ARGB these days. I already have some 120mm fans in this style, and I'm hoping to add two 140mm fans to a build in progress, and be able to keep all the fans running on the same rgb controller.

So my motherboard is an Asrock a320m hdv R4.0 and I can’t find any ARGB slots for my fan but there are these cables that are attached to the fan and if there are any spots for them please let me know (I have all of the case fan spots taken up already) I was thinking I could connect the two together that look like they go together but I don’t want to chance frying anything

Hi all, I'm using the ASUS TUF B550 which has 5 x PWM fan headers, 2 ARGB headers and 2 RGB headers https://www.asus.com/uk/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-b550-plus-wifi-ii/ If I want to buy 2 x 3 packs of RGB fans, for example: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-corsair-ar120-rgb-black-7-blade-pwm-hydraulic-bearing-triple-fan-expansion-pack-4-pin?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=feed_clicks&utm_content=surfaces_across_google What's the best way to connect this all together for fan speed and RGB control? I have Corsair RGB RAM too. Just wondering if I need to go down the Commander Pro route or if this is achievable via the motherboard and using the ARGB adapter that comes with the fans? Thanks

Budget: 600$ USD Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Programming for school and some games (Baldurs Gate, Persona, city skylines, and oxygen not included) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zxzYmD Here's the link to what I have so far. My brother got me a intel Core i5-13600k for the holidays, and so I thought I'd get a better case and some more fans but i think having 7 RGB fans is a bit much for a first build. I plan on getting these fan splitters... https://a.co/d/dwvWo83 But when it comes to the rgb I am very confused. Should I just get splitters or get an RGB control? If anyone would like to give some tips on what I should do or should I just stick with the case fans and get a simply exhaust fan to make things easier. Either way, I would still like some help on the rgb.

Hi, I'm looking for a set of multiple RGB fans that are relatively quiet and highly rated. I don't want to blow the bank but willing to pay more. This is the sort of thing I'm looking for but I am aware they are designed more for radiators so would they work effectively and quietly still for just regular intake and exhaust use? https://www.amazon.co.uk/ARCTIC-P12-PWM-RGB-Pack/dp/B08Y8N5J89/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=BF5QL5I4XUE1&keywords=arctic%2Bp14%2Bargb&qid=1700870823&sprefix=arctic%2Bp14%2Caps%2C104&sr=8-4&th=1&psc=1
